The only bad thing about taking ECON 104 online with Dr. Carrol is that he uses Excel 1993 spreadsheets for homework assignments. He's really good about giving feedback on assignments and tests and he responds quickly to emails; you can always get your questions answered on time as long as you pay attention to due dates. Perfect online class prof.

He is a very good professor, but a lot his lectures consists of information that wont even be on the test. He power point slides have paragraphs on them and it's hard to know what to right down. However, he is very passionate about economics and very helpful outside of class. Not to mention his tests are primarily bases on the presentation slides.

This professor has long lectures that aren't important, you really don't have to show up because all the notes are online. He teaches very slowly and gets through little content. He gives sample exams which are nice but is very annoying to listen to.

I love Carroll's energy and enthusiasm. He's got years of experience and is a trusted source of clear information. He is great about office hour availability. My one complaint, and maybe it was just the cultural atmosphere of my particular classroom, was that there wasn't a whole lot of opportunity for in- class participation.

Dr. Carroll is a wonderful man and a solid professor. There are a ton of very confusing assignments, his tests are very difficult, and lectures can be confusing.
