wayne's class was extremely easy. Maybe its b/c I like history but we only had four tests and four essays. The tests covered about 4 chapters and only needed a few hrs of study time. And the essays were basically about anything as long as you mentioned the word geography. Overall easy and entertaini

mr. coleman has interesting speeches. test are directly from the book, be clued into important numbers. Easiest class i had the past semester. Wants you to think of your world more than just the book stuff. Go to class for interest study book for test.

A great teacher that is super passionate about the subject. Very big on involving the class on the subjects. The essay papers were very easy! I BS'ed every one I turned in and always got full credit. Tests are right from the book but sometimes he's sneaky and slips in unrelated stuff from class b/c of low attendence:) Would take him again!

Mr. Coleman is really amusing, and even though he passes around a sign-in sheet, I don't think it counts for anything. He loves to tell stories about where he has been, which is pretty much everywhere. The questions from the test are straight from the book, and aren't hard BUT you do have to read carefully, paying attention to maps and numbers.

Very nice guy and willing to help anyway he can in and outisde of class. Cares to know his students by name. Can go off on current events but it keeps the class interesting. As long as you read the book and take notes you will pass the class.

He is one of the best entertaining teachers. The test comes from his power point presentations and little from the book. It’s all multiple choice and 7-10 T/F. Very fun class and tells u some very interesting stories about his life. Take him if u can, you will be amazed.

This class was pretty easy as long as you take the time to study. Final grade is based on 4 exams but he does give 3 extra credit assignments. His exams are hard if you don't study or read the book so you MUST purchase the book. Attendance isn't mandatory but his lectures are pretty interesting.

Go to class, His stories are awesome to hear. Very interesting. Just read the chapters & know the terms n slides & you will be fine. Very willing to help students. Gives extra credit. I would definitely take this class with him

AWESOME Prof. If u dont like him, u probably have no interest in anything tht goes on in the world today. It sounds like he drifts away from the topic often, but if u think a little you'll realize tht its all connected. In my opinion it was a fairly easy class too. Besides u also learn a lot from him. Would recommend him to everyone.

Mr. Coleman is a very interesting character. Initially, I thought he was a jerk, but he's really nice and funny. While he definitely gets off topic teaching, all you need to know for the tests is the material on the slideshows. He tells great stories, which whether you'd like to believe them or not, I assure you, they're true.

Wayne's World!!! j/k. He was a great professor. He really makes you think. He challenges all beliefs, stereotypes, and philosophies as any good professor should. FYI... His exams are based more on his Power Points than they are on the book.

Great Professor!! Knows what he's talking about, and has great side stories that make the class more interesting. He really makes you think and opens your eyes. Intimidating. Calls on students randomly asking them questions. At first I didn't like him b/c of this and that he goes off topic ALOT. However I gained respect for him towards the end and he is nice and will most likely help you if you ask. He has traveled alot so knows about what he teaches. Tests are tricky, read!! and look over powerpoints.

I couldn't stand this guy for most of the semester, but liked him more towards the end. A lot of stories, which yes are interesting but not helpful on test day. It seems like he thinks young people are stupid and need to "do something with their lives". Tests are tricky, read the text and study! He drops a test and gives some extra credit.

This is my favorite professor of all time. As the class progresses you will learn to love Prof. coleman even more. He is a truly great guy and is very personable. Overall he is an honest and true professor, he doesn't lie!

I had him for Cultural Geography. He really knows his stuff, but he gets off on tangents alot and tells stories of his own life which can be pretty interesting. There were only 3 tests for the year so you have to do good on those or your screwed. Overall I would recommend Coleman! You will definitely enjoy his class

Prof Coleman is a really good teacher. He is so knowledgeable on the subjects and he has been EVERYWHERE in the world so he has first hand accounts too. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you do go you will learn so much. Must read chapter before lecture or he gets pissed off but that is about the extent of the work required. Lots of extra credit.

A great professor he does call you out during class and puts you on the spot but as long as you read the book you'll do alright

In the beginning of the semester I really hated his class, I feel asleep, and was uninterested. He always rambles on about something or other. Towards the middle of the semester I really started enjoying his class. He makes you think. Also we have no homework, and if we do get assignments they are extra credit.

The best professor out there. He opens students' minds to a variety of topics. Of course there are those who are stubborn and don't like him because of that. Anyways, as long as you read the book the tests are pretty straightforward. You will not regret taking him as a professor.

This class has changed my life. You will learn so much more than what is in the text book. I did not like him at first, but by the end of the semester he was my favorite professor. The tests were a little tricky, but if you go to his office he will go over the tests and help you out. I respect him very much.

The professor was a very cool guy. Intimidating at first but he is nice. Class was very interesting, i could sit there forever and listen to him talk. Tests are straight out of the book so make sure you read. Would definitely reccomend.

Wayne teaches a moderately easy class but is quite outspoken. Sometimes his lectures turned more into a screaming sermon that you could hear down the hallway! I felt I was not able to express freely in his class and it turned me off from wanting to attend. While the class is relatively easy, I would recommend taking another professor.

Provided you do all required reading and pay attention to his lectures, you are guaranteed success. His personality is what made me look forward to class every day, but the way he incorporates current events and real-world examples of the material he's covering into his lectures are what made things stick. I recommend.

Teaching you to think "Critically" is his main goal so don't expect alot from his lectures. Exams are off power points but I found most of the test questions off the book. Use his office hours and show interest and he will definitely bump your grade up. Extra credits are few and far between so take advantage of them. Not so difficult A.

You don't have to go to class, but if you do, you're missing out on learning a lot from a well-traveled man. Don't take notes- everything you need for exams is in the book and on his slides. Definitely take advantage of his office hours because he's willing to help. Work hard, and be prepared for class since he will call on you. Take him!

Mr. Coleman is a very fun professor to take. He has lots of experience in geography. The tests were based heavily on the textbook and sometimes there will be multiple questions on something that was barely covered in the lectures but was in the textbook.

Nice Professor, likes to tell stories and the only thing you do in class is to go over the powerpoints. Tests are on one chapter each and if you read the chapter and maybe look over the powerpoint you'll be fine.

This class is really easy. The tests are based off of the book and his powerpoints. Class isn't mandatory and he is a nice guy but he gets way off topic a lot and will call people out during class.

Good class. He likes to go on a tangent A LOT. Read the chapters before class because you will get picked on. If you read the chapters and power points you will do fine on the tests. And bring coffee, you are going to need it.

If you are staunchly religious and/or hate it if your beliefs are questioned don't take Coleman, he's not afraid to voice his opinion. He's a good professor who does rant off on tangents almost every class. That being said, you will learn as long you read the textbook and study powerpoints. Oh, and think critically. That's important.

even though class isn't necessary i would recommend going. He goes on rants some times, but still has a method of teaching. Dedicate the time to go over power points and read the chapter. The key terms are huge on tests. Oh and take full advantage of the extra credit.

I loved having him as a teacher. He is a critical thinker and tries to make you think critically. It is nice to have a teacher that says both sides of a story and isn't afraid to saying something on his mind. I would recommend taking his class for sure.

I have a lot of respect for this man. His tangents/life stories are worth hearing. Guy was a vietnam vet and was in the thick of it. Knows a lot about government contracts, has a lot of contacts, international citizen, has done business in over 80 countries. Very smart/knowledgable. Tests are easy str8 from book. Will show ugly part of the world.

Shares parts of his life and relates it to the lesson in a way that is easy to learn, but challenges you to think critically. Looked forward to his lectures. Very accomplished and knowledgeable. Office hours are worthwhile (I'm shy--he's easy to talk to). Would highly recommend to anybody who wants to learn about life as well as geography.

Extremely easy course, really didn't study at all. If you struggled in cultural geography under Wayne Coleman you should honestly reevaluate your current level of knowledge.

This is one of the best classes that I took this Spring. Professor Coleman made the emergency transition smoothly. I enjoyed working on the Final Project.

This class has opened my eyes to how much education can help to live in a more sustainable world. Professor Colemnan's knowlasge and passion for the subject makes the discussions in class more interesting and fun.
