Great teacher. On target, lectures a little heavy but keeps class topics and assignments right on target. Great knowledge of related business and economic subjects. Go for this teacher!!! You will learn a lot!

He keeps my interest up, which is great because so many teachers have swayed me away from other fields. I don't mind going to class, and it's the only class I look forward to going to!

Mr. Gawlik is caring, energetic, and an overall fun teacher. Although his classes tend to meet early in the morning, he is worth every minute. He adds his personal charm to the world of business. You will receive a good grade if you retrieve his Powerpoint slides for notes, take online quizzes, and turn in your case studies by the deadlines.

Mr. Gawlis is very nice and helpful. He really cares about students. He uses a lot of real life stories to explain material and class time just flys. Easy A.Great teacher!

Information presented in this class is extremely useful, everyone should be required to take this course. Those who are 18 may not appreciate the class at first, but give it 10 years, they will wish they remembered everything. Great class, knowledgable teacher, what more could you ask for.

Great teacher. I don't think I've ever had a teacher who cared so much about his students doing well. The online quizzes are the same questions on the exam so study them and you should be fine.

Mr. G is the BEST TEACHER that JJC has. Took him for three classes in a row. He teaches you what you need to know and helps you if your stuck. Attendance not mandatory but if you don't attend you won't know what will be on the test. He is very interesting and FUNNY!

The guy is hilarious; you will laugh in his class. Plus it's the easiest class you will ever take. But...you will not learn any of the textbook material (+/-?)----4 T/F tests (basically gives you the answers) 4 Case studies-common sense, you will read 4 pages from the $150 book, class not mandatory

Mr Gawlik is an extremely good teacher. He used humor to get his point across and it works. You can take the weekly tests an unlimited amount of times. His theory for doing this is to make sure the information stick in your mind; it works. This is one of the most instructive classes I have ever taken.

Awesome teacher. All of the quizzes are online and 10 questions all true/false. The questions on the quizzes are the exact same questions on the tests in class. There is absolutely no reason to fail with Mr. G. I skipped a lot of the classes and I still got an A very easily.

Prof. Gawlik is the kind of professor you want, especially the first year of college. It is truly my favorite professor at JJC. He makes sure his students understand and prepare them well for any upcoming quizzes and tests. He also treats his students as adults, unlike many other JJC instructors. Take him and you will see what I mean!

Very straightforward and sticks to the book. Quizzes are all out of the book and are all compiled into the midtermfinal. You can take quizzes multiple times which means you should have an answer key heading into the final. Isn't overly strict with the online discussion boards.

An absolutely amazing teacher. He taught my 9am management class and I would never dread waking up and going. He is hilarious, caring, knowledgeable, and the class is so easy but still interesting! Engaging lectures that taught me so much. Highly recommend him. Study for the tests, take the quizzes, and do the case studies and u will get an A!

This guy shows that you can actually learn a lot without haventthe course be extremely difficult. Great guy. Excellent teacher. He works incredibly hard for the students. An example of how teachers should do it!

Prof Gawlik was wonderful. He is very thorough, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The Syllabus was very accurate and we stayed on course throughout the semester. He gives extra credit but his class is so well taught that you do not even need the extra credit. I have already signed up to take another class with him.

Take this class. Easy A. Grades things immediately. Weekly tests are 10 questions online and you can take them 3 times with the same questions, so it's impossible for you not to get 100% on all o.f them. Unit exam questions all come from the weekly quizzes you took previously. There is no excuse not to get an A in this class.

Mr Gawlik is one of the best teachers i've had so far at jjc. I took a night class he always let us out early if possible. Just have to take the chapter quizzes on icampus and write decent case studies and youll get and A. He really cares about the students and will answer any questions you have.

I am so lucky to have Mr. Gawlik as a professor. He is so experienced and really knows what he is doing. He is hilarious and makes me enjoy going to school. I hope I can take classes with him in the future.

There is a group project during the semester, but as long as you are there to pick your group there shouldn't be any problems. He accepts late work, but the assignments are online so it is pretty easy to stay ahead and get things turned in on time. If you ever have any problems just talk to him he is very understanding and willing to help.

Mr. Gawlik is a great professor with hilarious lectures to help students remember course material. He is definitely the professor you want for any business related course! His grading criteria is very clear and he is always there for you. EXAMS ARE EXACTLY LIKE THE QUIZZES. TAKE HIM!!! (: (Don't buy the textbook though, you don't need it)

Mr. G is the GOAT. Case studies: as long as it has a header and it is 600 words, its an A. Tests are T/F. Two internet projects: same as case studies, but less words. Could finish the class in one day. Calls himself fat, which is funny, but repetitive. I was on my phone the whole time in class. Can be very boring. Never studied for the tests. EASY!

Prof G is the man. He loves his finance thats for sure. I would recommend taking accounting 1&2 before finance 201 (it makes it way easier) but you don't have to. He does all he can to make sure you succeed. He offers 75 extra credit points just for showing up at a study session, so don't sweat it if you didn't do so well on a test.

Took this as a summer class online. He lets you take the quizzes 2-3 times so no reason you shouldn't get them all right (all true or false) follow his rubric for a case study and don't make any grammar mistakes and it's an easy 100%. Take his class!

Professor Gawlik is one of the best professors that I have ever had and I will definitely take his class again and again and again even if it wasn't for a college credit. He starts each day with a joke and he makes the class seem less boring because he's always throwing jokes in through his lectures and he always gives a personal story.

REALLY REALLY EASY CLASS! I did not even have to take the final exam. I got 115 extra credit points in the class. Just show up, you will be fine. He does take attendance and it is a grade.

I really enjoyed his classes, AND NOT because he didn't give any homework. He gave good lectures that were interesting and added just the right amount of humor. In other words, You get your moneys worth. I also really liked group projects in the class, I just wish we did a few more of them. But like I said, He'll actually teach you something.

Professor is very nice and wants to help students learn the material. His tests are very simple and he offers LOTS of extra credit opportunities. He is sometimes disorganized and the class is not much of a challenge but overall a good professor if you are willing to do your homework and review before the tests.

I liked that assignments were opened from start so you could work ahead. Prof provided good feedback on assignments and let you redo if you messed up. BOttom line, I would take him again - he was funny, understanding and gave good info.

This was my first summer taking an online class and Professor G was extremely helpful. If I did not get full credit on an assignment he would let you redo it for full point if right the next time. He was very responsive when I would email him for help on an assignment. Overall a great teacher and his assignment were very straight forward!

Mr. Gawlik cares about his students. He understands that there are other things pressing on students lives and is forgiving if they miss assignments. He is truly a great professor that you should take.

Good professor. Makes lots of good jokes in class that are funny, which is a good way to start off the day. Some of his jokes are offensive though. One joke offended one of the female students in class when referencing that her "parents are crazy" for the amount of kids they had. Also pretending a laser pointer was a gun, and an animal cruelty joke

Great guy. He lays everything out on day 1. 2/3 of the grade is a business plan. It is good to learn how to do a business plan. The book lays out how to do the biz plan. I took this as a pre-req for a class I want to take at my school. I was thankful it was available online this summer.

He is a very easy going teacher. If you jot down quick notes during the lectures, then the assessments are super easy. All the quiz answers are easy to find too.

One of the easiest classes i've ever taken. If you just submit the work and try on the quizzes youll pass. I took the class as a gen-ed and it was super low maintenance. Would highly recommend taking this class with him, hes the best!

A teach yourself class with someone to ask questions if you have some, although I did have trouble getting feedback from him at times. Very easy class and a very easy grader, also a very respected and cool teacher. Everythings online including tests, which are difficult.

This was one of the easiest yet very interesting class I have taken. I took a hybrid class with him and he really appreciates if you are in class. As long as you take notes during lectures you will have the answers to your quizzes. He is a very easy grader, as long as he sees that you try and have good responses you will pass his class no problem.

Short class term so lots of work (due dates daily) but the assignments were true to book and quizzes were free response and had some wiggle room in grading. Overall not bad and an essential course for everyone in my eyes.

Great class and very straightforward grading system. There were quizzes every week, but the quizzes weren't hard and self-explanatory. The assessments weren't difficult either and only took an hour of my time every time they came up.

This class is very straightforward. Grading is straightforward. Prof G is very responsive and cares about what his students understand. Lots of reading. Quizzes are fairly easy if you read the chapters. I would recommend him.

Professor Gawlik provides feedback on the homework assignments IF you submit it before the due date, which was super helpful. The quizzes he allows to take it 3 times. The exams and quizzes aren't too hard. I would definitely take another class from him.

Professor G is a really nice guy, he doesn't like people to be late, but he allows late assignments since you let him know. He tries to make the class funnier, you can take the quizzes how many times you want and really wants his students to get As in his class.

Professor Gawlik is a flexible and understanding instructor. The class is well-structured with helpful feedback on assignments. For study prep, Unstuck study and the free textbook were great resources to supplement the lectures.

He's very funny. Goes on funny rants about random things in his life that sometimes link up to what he is talking about.

Professor Gawlik truly knows his material; it was very easy to reach out to him outside of class if you had any concerns. Tests were not complicated; you would receive your test after it was graded, and we would review the questions. He also offers extra credit multiple times. Highly recommend him!
