Keeps you awake. At first you find the class pointless, but he gaves us a review sheet, which made the class very easy. Attendance is mandatory.

Great teacher, he makes the class go by extremely fast. We watched youtube everyday, and everything was interesting. His class is an easy A, but you have to go to class. I got an A- because I didnt turn in a few assignments. Test are very easy, he gives you all the answers.

Go to class and stay for the review you will do well. Great professor!

This guy is the epitome of professor. He eats, sleeps, and breathes his work. His research is well-respected and informative. I really enjoy his style of teaching. The guy is real. I love the class.

Hochwarter is a bit a goof, but loves his work and is the type of professor you should want. Cares about his students and wants to see them succeed. You don't learn from the book, but what he teaches you really applies to life. Go to class and enjoy it, he's a goofball with a passion for teaching.

He's pretty odd at first but you get use to it. He is not a bad teacher at all but the subject matter isn't anything too difficult. However do not underestimate his tests. They focus very much on the details in his study guides (i.e. numbers).

While the assignments were short and easy, the tests are way too hard for the material we're learning. He gives you a study guide with the basic subjects but you have to go so in depth with memorizing the most minute details if you hope to get an A in this class, because the test average is 70% of your grade. It's the first A- of my career... :(

Comes off as a goof but it actually entertaining for a teacher. I am currently taking him for summer but wish I would of taken a different teacher. He constantly gives you assignments that are based on helping him do research for his own research program. Gives a bunch of busy work when it comes to writing. Id say about 20,000 words within 6 weeks.

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!! that is all.

Great professor, Great class. He is very quirky, but also entertaining. He brings in some great guest speakers, and the Binder, which is your whole grade, is easy if you get everything done early. If you wait until the last minute you are going to struggle. Definitely recommend!

Great professor and very nice. However, grading criteria is a bit "vague" and since everything is due at the end at once, it's a big difficult to get feedback on how well you are writing your assignments and if they meet expectations. Quite honestly, this should be renamed "Creative Writing". Don't fall behind! Overall an interesting class.

He's not bad. I took the online class fall 2016 and it's just like a lot of writing assignments all due on one day towards the end of the semester. I think the goal of the class is to see if you can complete them all without procrastinating because there are a lot. would take again- its not hard at all.

Any complaints on this professor come from the fact that people are just flat out lazy. There's tons of busy work but zero tests, which I would take any day. There's even a way to get out of the final. Do the work and you'll pass.

Hochwarter is a pretty interesting dude. His lectures are kind of ridiculous but I appreciated his real world knowledge. This class makes you think and you will have to write A LOT but just don't procrastinate and you'll do fine. Your grade isn't only based on exams which is nice, and there's actually a way to get out of the final!

If you don't like writing, you are going to hate this class. Honestly, the reviews here along with the business adviser not recommending taking Hochwarter had me so nervous to take this class! It was a LOT of writing but I love that there are no tests and there is a chance to be exempt from the final! Overall, it was simple but lots of busy work.

If you do the work and do it on time, the class is an easy A. He really only cares about his research, so you won't learn much in the class. Although, I'm not complaining too much because he makes the class very easy as a result. His lectures consist of random videos, so I think he spends about 95% of his time researching and 5% on teaching.

Take this course over the summer when you don't have a full class load. There are really only 2 due dates but there's like 10 assignments per due date so truly do not wait until the night before. Most of the assignments follow a specific format where you have to write the same thing 5 times but about separate topics. So keep ahead, easy A tho

This class is not hard at all. He doesn't believe in tests and there are about 8 total writing assignments with 2 deadlines during the semester. They aren't difficult, they're basically your opinion or a review of lectures. Just do your PR's each week and don't try to cram a whole semester of lectures into the night before and you'll be just fine.

Professor Hochwarter's Organizational Behavior class is essentially a writing class. I wrote well over 30,000 words for his class throughout the semester. There are absolutely no exams of any kind. He is research intensive and lets all of his students know about it. I suggest you don't wait until the last two weeks to do all of the writing.

Dr. Hochwarter is a really great guy and I highly recommend going into his office hours and getting to know him. You will be writing tens of thousands of words in this class. If you put it off until the last week you will be miserable. Be proactive. He expects nearly zero writing errors and his assignment directions to be followed to a tee.

Prof Hochwasser class is a lot of work and he makes you write stupid papers about subjects hat involve peoples behavior in the business setting. In all I wrote about 25,000 words for this class in a matter of 3 weeks. Most of the assignments are a hundred if you complete it fully. The research paper is a lot of work and do it well its graded fully.

All 5 assignments are due at the end of the semester so if you wait to do them it'll be difficult but the work is extremely easy. You write responses to his (weird) lectures, 15 acts of kindness you did, and a biography and thats it. Super easy if you're a good writer and you don't procrastinate. I did everything in 3 days and still got an A

Dr. Wayne Hochwarter is an awesome professor. His writing assignments are based off his lecture videos but he makes them entertaining. Class taught me a lot but can be a lot of work if your like me and procrastinated until the last day to turn in the main assignment. Don't be like me and your all good.

Given the assignments at the beginning of the semester and are due at the end. GET THE WORK DONE EARLY. If you don't you will be stressed writing 10,000+ words in one week. Actually watch the lectures. They have great content that is applicable to you and your career. Was helpful in person. Has a quirky personality but kept the lectures interesting

Professor Hochwarter is hands down my favorite professor on FSU's campus. His class is so easy. If you do your work EARLY you will be good. His online lectures are interesting and his class teaches you time management and how to be a better person. Please go to his office hours he is really funny and great to talk to.

People who say he doesn't care are wrong, he gives personal feedback on every essay/assignment. He is very clear in his expectations and due dates, so there is no reason to do poorly in this class. There is a lot of writing, but it is more constructive and you learn more than memorizing things for exams.

Nice guy. Class is just so the COB can implement a writing course for students to take. While I didn't learn much, I did improve my writing with this course. You end up writing nearly 30,000 words for this class, so be prepared to write.

Time management is the most important thing for this class. Hochwarter is a great guy who has some quirky lectures, but not a difficult class at all. Pay attention to details like deadline times and submission format and youll do well. He gives very clear feedback on where to improve your writing

This was literally the easiest class I have ever taken. Hochwarter is really funny which makes his lectures easy to watch. The assignments are super tedious, but he gives you all the due dates at the very beginning of the semester. You're fine as long as you don't do the assignments the day before because they take so long to complete

I was worried about taking this class because of the many negative reviews. This class is an easy A if you put in the work. There are many assignments, but you are given a document with all the due dates ahead of time. Prof is caring and gave good feedback. Just don't be lazy and you'll be fine.

Really caring professor and the class is not too demanding. There is a lot of writing though, and if you push everything off until the deadline it will be hell. My only advice is to not procrastinate and you will be fine.

This guy is the funniest professor I have ever had. He gives a big 21 page paper that is meant to be done over the semester so do not procrastinate. A couple other papers, some easy quizzes and annoying survey assignments (to recruit). Overall, very easy A. Just stay on top of everything.

Do not wait until the last minute to do his personal reflection homework packet. Keep up with his lectures, do the homework, and you will get an A. His quizzes are open note, and the data survey assignments are credited as exams if you get them done. Easy A

Just an incredibly interesting guy with a lot to say regarding well being for future endeavors. The people who don't enjoy his lectures are brainy analytical nerds who spend eternity in stroz. Really great class and professor!

Idk why everyone complains so much ab this class. Its pretty useless but its an easy A if you dont wait to do everything. Hes an odd guy but honestly his lectures were a nice break. The only thing I didnt like is that recruiting people for his research was a big part of our grade but again easy A. Quizzes every couple weeks but not too hard

This class is simple. Do his open note quizzes on time, recruit people to do his surveys (so you can skip his final), and complete 2 major projects. Easy A. Unfortunately, this class will not teach you anything you don't already know unless you live under a rock. Wayne is very interesting, and will make you laugh. Says pretty weird stuff a lot.

Prof. Hochwarter is a good professor there a lot of writing in this class. I had to do a personal relevance which is reading a bunch of articles. I had to fill out this journal as you read the articles which is easy. I wish I learned more about business management techniques in this course.

As a senior at Florida State, Professor Hochwarter has been one of my favorites thus far. The work and the lectures he put out resonated with me deeply. He is a very transparent and genuine professor, which makes him different from others. He offers a different perspective that others may disagree with if they are superficial and closed minded.

Sweet, funny professor. Lectures are a nice change of pace. Tough grader when it comes to weekly papers and other assignments - don't miss them, and don't miss class because he takes attendance through the exit assignments. Right now I have a c+ because I've skipped, so just go to his 8am lecture and go to sleep after.
