Awesome professor!!! He is easily the BEST I have ever had! He cares about what you learn, not how you do on his tests, which are very easy anyway (he tells you what is on it the day before the test). Really loves to teach and it shows BIG TIME!

He is a pain in the butt- but he is a good teacher and cares a bit too much. I'd leave us dirtbags up the creek without a paddle but he atleast throws a liferaft and has you swim back yourself.

This is by far one of the best classes I have taken so far! He is very understanding of the fact that sometimes life happens and is willing to work with you as long as you are willing to put in the effort. Does take off a few points for attendance, but then again if ya miss too many days of work ya get fired, so understandable.

Very easy class. All papers are personal oppinion. Gordon rule is so easy to accomplish. He doesn't count words, he counts pages. If you have 4 lines on a page he counts it toward your goal. My book already had everything highlighted in it. He tells you exactly whats on quizzes. Sure to pass if you go over review. A bit of a schovanist.

Simply a great teacher... Cares about his students and very understanding. I had his General Psychology class at 7 am but didn't mind the time because the class was so enjoyable and funny. I took Dr. Stein's 7am Gen. Psyc. class and I loved it. He keeps your attention, even if it's only because he's telling some crazy story. I like how he's so approachable. If you don't understand something he is more than happy to help. He does use some questionable language, though. But that is probably the only thing I could complain about.

Very nice teacher. Read alot of newspaper articles vs. using the book. I was suprised by his profanity, but he has a very easy going personality. I learned alot about myself and why I am the person I am. I would recommend Dr. Stein. :)

Dr. Stein is the best professro at BCC. I would definitly recommend Dr. Stein for a professor. Take notes and lisent to his lectures and you'll be just fine. I had him for Psychology 2, and he is without a doubt the best teacher I have personally ever had. He is so laid back and relates life to his teachings and also prepares you for your future. Dr. Stein is the only teacher I have found that has helped me grasp the subject and enjoy the class while doing so. He takes real life situations of his own to descibe the topic we are learning. Prof.Stein is a wonderful teacher. He is extremely funny, helpful, entertaining, and full of knowledge. Great teacher

I took him for General Psych and Abnormal Psych. He is such a fun teacher! I loved how he went over the newspaper articles and we had discussions about them every class. He is so smart, and has so many great stories to share. Abnormal psych is a little different because you watch a lot of movies, but still fun. I highly recommend him!

Stein was an AMAZING teacher. He really taught me so much. He starts every class off with a "dear abby". i had him at 7 in the morning and i am not a morning person. Somehow i never had trouble getting up for his class. HE IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Best professor EVER! I truly looked forewrd to going to class every day I had him. Made class very insteresting using real-life examples and encouraged class discussion however never forced it. Take 2 quizzes, midterm and final (all 25 questions) and that is your grade. Take him for whatever you can get!

I took him for general pysch. He is amazing. All test are very easy, 20-25 questions. Only had to write one paper regarding what you wanted to learn in his class(not mla). He highlights the passages in the textbook relevent to the test. East A. Good Luck

Took Abnormal Pysch with him. Such a fun class. Great real life applications from the stories he tells. Watch movies and do analysis on characters. If you don't try, you'll fail. This is not an easy A, but you would have to do absolutlely nothing to fail.

AWESOME. To get his class you need to register within a couple of days after the online registration is up. Im not a morning person but I signed up for his class at 8am (i miraculously got in when a student didnt pay in time to keep his enrollment) and ive been enjoying it the entire semester.

I took his class at 7 AM and I'm not a morning perosn but I had no problem getting up for this class. He teaches a fun class and makes you WANT to listen to him. The first half of the class everyday is taught via headlines from the paper or news, as discussion among the class. If you follow his outlines this class is no problem.

Awesome teacher! Tests are super easy as long as you STUDY for them. He gives you a study gude before each test, so they aren't that difficult.Also, there are only 4 tests in the whole semester. Gives Service Learning extra credit which will give you 10 extra points on final grade. Such a nice teacher, I highly reccomend you take him!

I am currently enrolled in this class. It started February and it is a HYBRID course which means that you meet every other week. When you take this class, you are one of the best classes offered here at EFSC. When you take Dr. Stein class you see his passion and enthusiasm for psychology is contagious! He is a true professor!
