So far, Dr. Thomas is the best professor I have had at OU. He is incredibly helpful and truly wants everyone to make a good grade in his class. However, he said on average only about 15% of the students make an A for the class.

He was an excellent teacher. His class made me change my major to finance, which I believe tells a lot about the professor. He creates great enthusiasm for the subject. He is so funny, and make accounting class so much fun.

Dr. Thomas is GREAT!!! Not only is he a great person in general, but his teaching style is wonderful and interesting, even for accounting. A somewhat difficult class, but I got a B without opening the book (I'm an engineer). Highly recommended!!

Dub Thomas is the best Professor ever. If he is an option, take financial with him or you're just dumb. Homeboy has mad skills b. I did practically nothing but go to class and do the (easy) projects and got a B in the class. Whats even more amazing is that I learned everything! Dr. Thomas is the BEST professor I have ever had. He is hilarious and makes accounting fun. There is online hw 2 days a week and attendance is mandatory, but it is definitely worth it. I go to every class and enjoy every moment, all because of Wayne. I cannot rate him high enough. TAKE THIS CLASS!!

Any business major will tell you that Professor Thomas is their all time favorite professor. He is the nicest, funniest, most interesting professor you will have and even if you hate accounting, you will love going to his class. His lectures are hilarious, the homework is cake, and his tests are pretty easy. Should be an easy A for you.

Allows students to repeat the after-class homework until they have a perfect score. This class takes time. Professor Thomas goes over what will be on the test the class period before every test. He makes accounting seem simple. If you want a good grade, *do the bonus homework* and use LearnSmart.

Best professor I've ever had. He really cares about his class. Notes packet is available from a print shop for about $9. Book is used for 3 accounting projects, but he goes over all of them in class, so you really only need it to study for tests or a missed class. Homework is easy. Reviews before each test. He gave a 2 week review for the final.

Wayne is a great teacher. Before each class he reads anonymous course comments and the way he responds is hilarious. Homework is easy, material gets difficult as the semester progresses (Wayne explains it pretty well though), Tests are pretty easy. (just a little tricky). Wayne really cares and saying he is a great teacher is a understatement!

I'm a junior, and Dr. Thomas is the best professor I've had at OU. He cares more than any professor and even incorporates applicable life lessons into lectures. He is all of the good things about your dad and is funny at the same time. I honestly wish I were he. Take his class or you may never know what college is supposed to be.

Prof. Thomas's class is really enjoyable! He does everything he can to help. There are three tests, three projects, homework, and extra credit offered. You don't HAVE to use the textbook but it is good for clearing up information. He is always so willing to help. Just like any class, put it in the effort, go to class.

Dr. Thomas is most likely going to be the best professor you will ever have. My friend switched her major to accounting just so she could have him as a teacher again. Definitely take this for your honors credit if you can, there is no extra work from the regular class. He is so helpful, kind, and cares about the students.

This professor made Accounting my most fun class of the semester. I definitely want to try and get his other Accounting classes here at OU. I highly recommend taking his courses because he genuinely cares for the success of his students and wants you to be successful while also a master of the material.

Dr. Thomas is such a great guy. He includes lots of life advice throughout his lectures, and it's spot on. I had taken introductory accounting in high school so the class wasn't very tough for me, but some of my classmates who hadn't seen it before struggled more. Still, he and his TAs are available for help if you need it. I recommend him!

Unbelievable. The guy cares about students more then any other professor I have ever had. He makes an incredibly boring subject super exciting. His tests are tough but he gives a tests files. He never takes himself too seriously and basically spends 15 minutes every class just chatting and making everyone feel important. I wish I could take it over

He cares about your success. If you want a good grade in this class you have to work for it and he will be there to help. attendance is important!! and always do your HW!!

Dr. Thomas like everyone else says, may be the best professor/teacher you have had or will ever have. He understands not everyone is an Accounting major and just wants all of his students to do the best they can by learning the basics of the language of business! His course is extremely organized, he's fair, and truly cares about his students.

Professor Thomas is the best. Account can be difficult, but professor Thomas make it much clearer and easier to understand. His lectures are very organized and he creates a notes packet for you. Though his tests can be tough they are multiple choice and not impossible.

Thomas is one of the best professors I've had at OU. He's very caring and is super helpful. Buy the note packet at the beginning of the semester because they are helpful. He makes accounting fun and his passion for what he does makes the class bearable. He takes attendance and your notes rely on you going to class so if you don't go you won't pass.

Professor Thomas is the man. He sets the class up for students to succeed--Allows unlimited chances on homework, works through online projects in class, goes through most missed test questions. It kind of feels like you disappoint him if you don't try your best. Best professor I've had at OU.

Honestly the most caring and pleasant professor I've ever had. He is a great teacher and his class is almost never a drag. He takes a boring subject like accounting and makes it interesting. Accounting is a hard class, but Dr. Thomas is an amazing professor. Every teacher should learn from him. I took accounting last semester and had to drop it, but I made an A in this class.

He does extra credit small quizzes that he does with you in class if you come, but you have to be in class to take the quiz! He is my favorite professor ive ever had he is a literal mr. rogers.

Dr. Thomas is by far my favorite professor! He understands that not everyone is good at accounting and really tries to be accessible and answer all questions asked. He cares for his students and you can see it. Attendance is not mandatory but go to do the extra credit quizzes. I also recommend going to action center tutoring. That helped a lot.

Such an Amazing man. ACCT 2113 is a course required for most business majors so getting ACCT 2113 with Dr. Wayne is a privilege. He's an Amazing lecturer. He makes you want to show up to class. He walks through a good chunk of the homework with you. He gives great life advice. Class is fun, enjoyable, and informative. Couldn't ask for more.

Wayne Thomas is the best ACCT 2113 teacher that you can get. I would highly recommend taking his class if possible. I took his class through Zoom and it was super easy. Wayne Thomas is also just a really fun and great teacher. The class is done through McGraw Hill Assignments and he works out your homework during the lectures that are recorded.

It's worth waiting to take his course in the fall (he doesn't teach ACCT 2113 in spring). This course is hard but he works through homework in class and is super accessible. Take him if you can!!!

This man is one of the nicest people I have ever met + one of the most dedicated profs in Price. On the day of my final exam I completely missed my test by a full 24 hours because of my inability to read my testing schedule and he completely understood and opened it back up for full credit because I emailed him while sobbing in my shower.

I had him fall of 2020, and looking back I really took him for granted. Cares about his students success and overall great guy/professor. Attendance wasn't mandatory, but I enjoyed going, and he also does homework problems in class. I wish I could have Wayne for all of my accounting classes. The accounting department needs more professors like him.

Wayne is an awesome guy, there's a couple of concepts I didn't really understand that I felt he could have taught better, but he is the most genuine guy to talk too.

This is the first professor that I have written about on here and there is a very good reason. He is the nicest guy ever! The lectures are just guided notes, I never had to read the textbook once. He loves accounting and wants everyone in the class to succeed. He loves feedback and if you DO THE PRACTICE PROBLEMS TO STUDY, you will get a good grade

This was the most sweetest professor I've ever had. He's so passionate about the subject that it's almost infectious. If you listen, you will understand it. Even if you get lost, he will always help you out (after class/office hours). He's sometimes a little fast with the material, but he's also quick to respond to emails.

THE GOAT! Do the practice problems and practice multiple choice questions in Mcgrawhill that he gives you and you'll do well on the exams. He's such a great funny guy and makes you actually interested in the class! Definitely take him over anyone else trust

I loved Professor Thomas so much. I was super nervous about taking accounting but I'm finishing with a 97 in the class. Make sure to attend class so homework isn't that hard. He's super attentive and makes a point to answer everyone's questions so don't be afraid to ask. Definitely do the practice problems before exams and you should have an A.

He is always willing to add or get rid of things that the class says are too tough or unfair, and his lectures are always fun and entertaining. If you want to take an accounting course and enjoy it, take Professor Thomas.

Dr. Thomas is by far the most caring and kind professor I have had. He truly has his students best interest in mind. However, this class is hard and requires a lot of time outside of class. He does tend to move very fast and it can be hard to keep up with him. Don't be like me and fail the first exam use 405 tutoring. Would absolutely take again.

A good grade is very achievable if you go to every class and actually pay attention to the assignments rather than just using online resources. Would 100% take him again I wish he could be my professor for every accounting class I take.

All you need to do in this class is to study the booklet and work on the practice questions on McConnect. He mentions that he does not want the exam to be hard for students and HE MEANS IT !!! Go to your lectures and do your homework and is an easy class with the most warm-hearted teacher ever :)

THE BOOKLET that is used for notes is KEY for a good grades on homework and for the exams. Study the questions on the HW and the booklet and you will get and A. He takes his time "to dumb it down" on everything!

The nicest teacher I have ever had. Somewhat of a difficult class for me, but he does really care about his students. Lots of in class quizzes that boost your grade.

This was my second time trying to take accounting and Professor Thomas made me actually understand it. the first time I dropped with a 68% and a different professor. Now I have a 96% and could actually do this on my own. His lectures are material heavy but no busy work, and he gives some HW answers. He is a great professor overall.

Show up to class, although attendance technically is not required, there are quizzes almost every day (automatic 100s for doing them). Going in to this class, I had zero clue about accounting, and thought it would be awful. Although this class challenged me, I am heavily considering switching my major to accounting after taking this class.
