Great professor. Be prepared to do a lot of note taking. You will need to take notes anyway to stay awake during his lecture which sound like it has been rehearsed over many decades of teaching. Nevertheless, go to class take notes & get A.

his class is very boring because he already has the handouts on the web for you to print out and everday you go to class he talks about everything thats on the handout to me coming to class is a waste of time cause he gives you the study guide and talks about the same stuff on the handout.

He puts all of his notes and study guides online so you can access them at anytime. Although you may study the notes and material before you come to class, he is very knowledgable on everything he teaches and coming to class is enjoyable.

His class is definetly informative! He teaches, and tests, right from his study guide, so it would be to your benefit to print the study guide and powerpoint slides. He is fair and knows government! He makes the class interesting and he respects others' opinions!

He is a great teacher and a lot of fun. Bad thing is that he is at the Rockdale campus now instead of Dunwoody.

Easy A! Printable studyguides and notes make note taking completely pointless. Possible to exempt Final and last two weeks of class! You have to write a paper and visit a court, and he gives 100's on the project. Informative to say the least and a great GPA cushion during a tough semester.

There's no end to his bountiful knowledge. Just watch a trial, study, and take the tests(and maybe write some stuff), but its all good. No worries mate, there's no trouble here. ok?

By far the easiest class I have ever taken. It was an easy A! You don't have to take any notes, as long as you know how to get on the internet, and use a printer you will be fine! From day one he posts all the notes and study guides online. Word of advice, do the study guide, thoroughly, if you do this you are guaranteed an A!!! Fun Class! Take It!

The temperature in his room is usually a little screwy, but other than that, I agree with everything the other people said (except for that last wiseguy down there, heh) Broadwell is the best Political Science teacher! Take him !

What can I say...EASY A, if you do the study guide AND study it. His tests are all multiple choice (a breeze if you study)and COMPLETE the one paper he gives, NO PAPER, U FAIL, NO MATTER WHAT! He lectures everyday and you can use this time to do your study guide. He is also pretty nice and helpful if you need the help.

He is a good teacher who knows his stuff. He lectures with power point and test come straight from the lectures. If you ever have any questions concerning POLS he is more than happy to answer and explain from mulitple points of view.

Mostly lecture. No homework but the term paper which is very..... very easy.Four tests, last one cancels out if you did good which is the final exam. I recomment him b/c u will learn alot even when u dont pay attention b/c of his jokes.

I knew nothing about the American government because I am an international student, but Mr Broadwell made me love poliical science. He is the best teacher i have ever known. I did'nt have to take the final test because I already had an 'A' after the four test. TAKE HIS CLASS AND U WON'T REGRET.

Broadwell is one of the best teachers I have had so far, there are 5 test, lowest one dropped, and one courthouse assignment. Test come straight from the study guides. I would recommend this class to anyone looking for a good grade and also to anyone interested in learning.

Mr. B. is a very good teacher. He knows the material well. But students do not need to go to class all the time because the lectures are on the computer. and so are the study guide. there is only one essay at the end and it is simple. so i would suggest students to take his class.

Dr. Broadwell is a EXCELLENT teacher! Uses powerpoints throught the class to teach. Gives you a study guide for each test. There are five test to take and out of the five you can drop the lowest grade. You should get a easy A or B if you complete the study guides.

If you miss a class his notes are on his website so its not hard to get them. He has somewhat of a sence of humor. A little boring and drawn out class but an easy grade.

Ok. I have no idea how people are saying that he is a good teacher bec. he is not. Good PERSON yes of course, teacher not so much. His class consists of him reading off of power point slides that are the test. Ex. on the slide "the apple is green" on the test "what color is the apple?" He is helpful and there is an attendence policy he enforces.

Dr. Broadwell is an excellent professor- I wish more were like him. He knows his subject inside and out and makes his lectures very interesting, too. He does take attendance and his tests are exactly what he lectures on and the bold textbook words, so go to class/study and you will be fine. I would take him again for sure!

I LOVED this class. Sometimes it was a bit boring, and he puts all of the notes online which made it difficult to stay motivated to attend class. He does take attendance everyday. His lectures are actually interesting and he relates them to things happening that the STUDENTS can relate to. He has lots of funny stories as well. Easy class.

Dr. Broadwell is a great teacher. The class becomes boring at times though. If you just print off the powerpoints, you will do fine, the study guides are pretty much the whole test. He lets you drop the lowest test grade. If all of your grades are good, you don't have to take the final!

I was accidentally dropped from Statistics and took this course to filled the spot.Glad I did.Professor Broadwell has an interesting knowledge of Politics and as one whose family life is consumed in politics it was interesting to learn from a unbiased source.It was refreshing to be taught by such an intellectual.He is the best.My major is Nursing.

Wonderful class. Broadwell teaches straight from his power points (which are available online for your use). His study guides (which are available throughout each section) are where he derives his test questions from. Very simple & very easy. Study the guide, attend class, and you will do great. All his tests are based on powerpoints, all the powerpoints are available online from the beginning of the semester. Makes it a very easy class to pass.

Professor Broadwell has been teaching pols1101 longer than most of us have been alive. His class is focused around the tests which besides attendance are your only grades. He gives study guides for each test with approximately half of the questions from the study guide composing the test. It's so simple: study+attend=A

He was a monotoned professor for sure, but if you pay attention and study his study guides you will for sure pass the class. Also, the final exam counts as one of your tests and he drops the lowest so if you make A's on all of your tests and you don't need to take the final exam, you don't have to!

Broadwell is a really nice teacher. You only have tests for grades, but they are super easy to do if you do the study guides. I would do only half the study guide and get a B. The lectures can get kinda boring, but the class is easy and not that bad really. Also, you can fail a test and still get an A

The best professor i have ever had. I thought he would be an awful teacher, but he was the exact opposite. He really explains what you're learning about and he makes it so simple. I never rented the book. He gives 4 tests and a final. He gives study guides for each of them except the final. He's also the reason why i changed my major.

Great Teacher!!! He explains everything in great detail. If you show up , pay attention in class and study the PowerPoints he makes for you there is no reason you should not get a good grade. I wish more teachers were like him.

Broadwell is very easy to follow. He gives you study guides for each test that are LITERALLY the tests. All you have to do is listen to him lecture and you'll pass. He can be kind of mono-tone, and he has some health issues that affect his speaking a little, but I don't even notice anymore. Just follow his powerpoints and do the study guides.

Not very animated, but didnt cloud the lectures with personal opinions. Since it is a Political Science class I appreciate how difficult that must have been. Powerpoints and study guides are online. Drops lowest test grade! Really wants you to succeed.

Super easy! Just have like 5 tests, and quizzes every week. They are very easy! Only received a B because I forgot to take a test and took it in 15 min. I bought the book because he said it was needed, I did not open it once all semester.

Took his POLS 1101 over summer and I'm so happy. Only 4 tests and nothing else. This does mean you have to do well on them but these tests are only MCQ and very easy. I would recommend reading his PowerPoints before the tests since all the questions are answered in the PowerPoints. He also has recorded lectures and a book if you want to use those.
