SUCKS! the only help that was received was read the chapters 2 or 3 times! no interaction, constantly changing syllabus, no communication. SUCKS!

This instructor is useless. She was difficult to communicate with - never giving clear answers. It was a lot of work, a tough "grading ruberick" was used on everything including forum posts! Major project was a Marketing Plan with a group ONLINE. Tests were hard.. TRICKY. Pick another professor!!!

She thinks that her class is the the only class you're taking. She has basically 5 different things due at any given time for both Online/In class. Extremely difficult to have a positive learning environment when she is constantly making you feel horrible about yourself when you're not even a marketing major. If you have a choice don't take her.

Not clear! This is a great professor if you like uptight miserable ones. Is not willing to work with anybody. Extremely arrogant. Not inspirational in any shape or form. Does not care about your personal time so make sure you don't have a life so you can do her assignments. I think the rest of the reviews pretty much sum her up!

Will 100% ruin marketing as a major for you! She constantly makes you feel horrible about yourself and very obviously will have favorites within the class. She expects you to give 110% without regard to you having other classes and because she is the only marketing teacher you are forced to pick her as your teacher.

Expects 110% effort from students, but doesn't give credit where credit is due. Makes it as hard as possible to get a good grade in the class almost makes you feel like she wants you to fail. Directions for assignments are extremely unclear but when you ask she makes you feel stupid.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER. She is AWFUL. She gives no extra credit. If you are stuck by the first class, withdraw so you don't lose a boat load of money getting the book( which you HAVE to buy). Super picky. And you can't even email her for help, you can ONLY get help if you visit her during office hours... no.

Yes, she has experience and is also challenging; but absolutely inconsiderate when it comes to helping students and respecting them. No one enjoys being compared to a child or "kindergartner." One mistake or wrong answer, you will be called out. Extra credit is what? Up to 2 points sometimes.. It's a definite NO if you want to be discredited 24/7.

The worst professor I've had at NCC, including several adjuncts who were atrocious. Very unclear, very condescending, massive expectations for an entry level course with little to no assistance. Online group work in a huge group with no direction. Avoid her at all costs!

She's really hard at grading. Test are very hard as in you do not have enough time to do them. I really do not like that she won't let you email her because she does not like it. Seriously do not take her.

I would not recommend having class with her. I took an online course with her and she was awful. It was heavy reading with hard quizzes at the end of each week, that are so confusing. Not helpful of students, not respectable. Not clear on directions, very vague. Make sure you don't miss any assignments even if you die, she doesn't care, youll fail.

Experienced in marketing, but you've got too many assignments on your hands when you have other classes. Assignments are utterly confusing, and with hostility in the mix, asking for help or emailing her is useless. Avoid at all costs if you want to have a life.

Wendi is one of the worst professors Ive ever had. If you are thinking about taking her class, then you should get ready to do three classes worth of work for one class. On top of that, she is not a gifted teacher. I have not learned very much from this class, but I have had spend 10 hours per week only to get a lousy grade.

Wendi Achey is one of the worst professors at this college. She is disliked by her students for giving extreme workloads that no one has time for. Her assignments are not productive, but they are worth lots of points. Overall, she tries to make the class as difficult as possible for her students and is known around campus to be a bad professor.

Worst professor I've ever had. I did very well when it came to the connect assignments and the minisims assessments, but the test were so unfair. I studied everything in the book and even the power points, and I still didn't do good! She gives no extra credit either, doesn't care if you fail.

This was my first online class and let me tell you... I will never take an online class again if they are going to be like this. I studied so much and still didn't do well. Plus, with all the material you need to know she doesn't provide a study guide or any extra assignments to help your grade.... I. AM. LIVID.

Prof. Achey feels as though she is superior to all her students. She is very difficult to get in contact with and she is not willing to help students out at all when issues arise. She grade crazy hard and just when you think you understand what is going on she changes it up. Will NEVER take her again!

No words for how horrible this Professor is except that if you were planning on taking other classes along with hers, drop them because she thinks the world revolves around her class.

This was a very difficult class for an entry level course. Prof achey is very rude and nasty to student and uses a condescending tone when she speaks. She also make it very plain and clear that no one ever get and A on the group project. Why does no one ever get an A? Is it because they don't try hard enough, or because she doesn't want the to?

Professor Achey is super passive aggressive and not helpful at all. I studied so much for every exam and prior to this class I only got A's but I struggled to pass exams. Would not recommend.

this is the absolute worst class ive taken. she thinks shes the only class you have and expects literally every ounce of your free time to be dedicated to this course.

Prof Achey is not organized she requires students to complete projects that are vague and have little to no resources on what the assignment is. She makes snarky remarks at students and says "check the syllabus" to every question when there is nothing there. Please beware of her she brags about students not doing well in her class. Good Luck

I am taking Professor Acheys summer course and I have never struggled so much in my life. I spend hours studying and preparing for her exams and do not pass any of them. She has one office hour a week and it takes her days to respond to emails. She assigns an insane amount of work and gives no help to complete it. Avoid her at all costs.

Awful. Non-communicative. No pre recorded lectures. Arbitrary replies of read the rules or syllabus. Incoherent given I've got over twenty years in business, and none of the nonsense hard line rule setting works in the real world. Avoid.

Honestly, this class is all over the place. You get a ton of homework & tests but they are not even distributed evenly throughout the course, one week you may have 1 assignment the next week you might have 8 & all of them are pretty time consuming. Even if you read the book, pay attention & take good notes you probably won't pass the tests.

Absolute pain is an understatement to the highest magnitude whilst describing the never ending nightmare that is this class . You will be tested beyond business in Her class as you will soon learn your psychological breaking point. Every single night I wished I would not wake up so I did not have to endure the endless suffering that is this class.

Makes to totally regret returning to school. She talks a mile a minute and thinks this class is the ONLY thing you have to do every week. Do NOT sign up to take her class you will HATE your life.

Never take this class with this professor. Very bad experience, she had a surgery and was out 3/4 of the semester and did not answer to ANY emails. There are 4 exams including the final wish I looked here before taking this course. What so ever do not take her course

I wish I never took this class, tests are impossible, the marketing project is extremely time consuming (as well as vague).Be ready to have no life out of class and have her expect you to have the brain power of a rocket scientist. Currently have a 70 in the class and rejoicing that I don't have to take this class again. SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS.

She is extremely inhumane in how she interacts with us and doesn't work with students when we reach out to her. The syllabus was also very confusing, there was no direct schedule for when things were due that made it hard to plan out when to turn in certain assignments. Would not take again.

I should've looked at her ratings before I took this class. She gives you exams and only allows 50 minutes to complete 50 questions. Then she'll teach a lecture after the exam. You have a group project that she gives you and she doesn't allow any time in class to complete it. The homework isn't too bad of a workload but with the project it's a lot.

Rude and dismissive. She demands respect but does not give it. Acts as if her class is the only one that exists. Too many assignments, unclear instructions. Gives 50 mins for a 50 question exam, and then spends the rest of the class lecturing. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS if you want peace!!!

Let me cut to the chase. Professor Achey made me go through an epiphany, one that determined whether or not college was for me. Needless to say, I am no longer pursuing an education at Northampton. The criteria for her assignments were ridiculous. No guidelines, no sympathy, and not helpful whatsoever. NEVER, take her class, even as a last resort.

She's mean, condescending and definitely has favorites. Can care less about students, but must survive her to get degree. Everyone was afraid to rate her honestly until we were done.

If you are currently reading this before deciding on taking her or not, please for the love of God never take this professor. Before this class I was nearly an all A student, but this class helped me to realize that not every professor knows how to do their job correctly. She helps as little as possible and loves disappearing to go on vacation. :(

Ridiculous amount of work and most is unpractical. The final project was an oral presentation with 60 power point slides and a 28 page written report. She is more concerned about presentation and reports being in a certain format rather than the content. Not available for help. If you ask a question, she refers you to the syllabus or a guide.
