I love having this class at the end of the day! She teaches what we need to know as well as helpful life lessons.

Professor Cooper is a fair and honest professor that truly seems to be looking out for the best interest of the student. She also gets students involved in class with group discussions which makes time go by much faster.

Huge on with communicating with her. Lectures are helpful and relevant to the class. I feel like I have learned lessons that will stay with me for life.

Professor Cooper is very easy to get along with. She is interested in her students and her lectures involve a lot of personal input from real life experiences she has been through so class time is not boring. Huge believer in letting class out early if she is done with her lecture planned for the day.

She makes class fun and tells lots of hilarious stories. She also is very encouraging , even when you feel like you won't do well in an assignment. You must notify her by sending a courteous email or text when you will be missing class so that she can fill you in on what you missed that class session. Make sure you take every extra credit given.

She is a very good and influential teacher. She addresses many topics that are controversial and has a very neutralized view on most all topics.

This class has a very fun and open environment. She is very interactive with the students and cares about our success.

Very clear and engaging in class, tests are very specific though so make sure you know specific phrases and facts.

I would not desire another professor for this Freshman Seminar; Wendy Cooper does an exceptional job.

i believe wendy is a wonderful person who can really care for her students as long as they respect her. she is a tough grader and she does tend to get off topic but she keeps your attention with her interesting stories and you can see that she enjoys teaching by how comfortable she is when talking to her students.

She is one of the few role models I look up too. Professor Cooper is just absolutely wonderful. Taking her class has taught me a lot about school and about my personal life. I've learned so much in such a short time. I would recommend her class to all. She's such a good authority figure. Her class discussions are never boring and she's so positive.

Overall love the class. but some things she talks about may be offensive to your religious beliefs. very interactive class, youll really get to know your classmates. shes a tough grader so tell her what she wants to hear. although attendance is not mandatory all the quizzes are what she talks about in class

Professor Cooper is the type of teacher that you do not want to get on her bad side. Her classes are very open and interactive and you will definitely be laughing a lot. Although professor Cooper is a nice person, she is tough as a brick. She will put you in your place if you are disrespectful. She is a good college teacher.

With the particular course, KSU Freshman Seminar, your experience and learning outcome will be directly effected by the professor you choose. I strongly recommend anybody willing to take a step forward for success to choose Professor Wendy Cooper, not only for the opportunity to learn immensely, but the chance to have fun while doing so.

She is a great teacher. Very nice and willing to help whenever you need it. She provides extra credit options like once a week, so take advantage of that! She does give a lot of assignments but they're not very difficult. Although she is nice, don't think you can come into class and slack off. Just pay attention and do you work and you'll do fine!

A great class to get involved with aspects such as taking notes , studying methods, and learning to be a better college student. She gives a syllabus which will be like the bible of the classroom. She is a hard grader, but that is what college is about.. She will challenge you and it is only your job to accept that challenge.

Laid back as long as you study for tests & quizzes & show that you put a lot of effort on your assignments & papers. Professor Cooper is an amazing Professor. she is one of the only professors that truly cares for her students inside and outside of the class. she assigns a lot of work. you'll have a project/paper due almost every single week. as long as you do the work, it is an easy A. she is a very inspirational person and i have learned a lot from her!

Professor Cooper is an amazing and inspirational woman. Our class discussions are hilarious and motivational. The middle of the semester will be loaded with papers and projects. However she does this so that you can focus on your other classes at the end of the semester. Co-own a textbook with a class mate because it's only needed a few times.

Tests are a little tricky if you tend to zone out during class because there will be questions pertaining to something she said that's not in the book. Interesting lectures in class, never makes you feel inferior for giving your opinion, if you work hard and put in an effort throughout the class then you will pass without a doubt, keep in contact with her through email to let her know you care about your grade and she will respond equally to help you achieve it. TRULY CARES ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL!

She is very nice and very helpful. She emails back very fast. Not afraid to speak her mind, so expect her to correct you if you are wrong. I feel she was not clear on what she wanted on some assignments and on other assignments she was clear as can be. Participate and do your hardest work, and you will get an A in the class no problem.

You might think that she's crazy at first, but she really kind of is, in a good way! Very sweet, very inspirational, always there for you! Its a lot of work, but its the type of work that you will benefit from and learn something from! No busy work! She will literally answer your email/texts at any time of day! I would definitely take her again!!

She is honestly so awesome. She truly cares about her students. She will be there to help any time of the day, even after midnight.. literally. Her lectures are so inspirational and interesting. My favorite part about the class is that she truly builds close relationships with her students.

Best professor to have your first year of college because she tells you everything you need to know to be successful in her class and life. I wish I could have her every semester! She's not easy, but she's fair and Ima miss her class!

Professor Cooper is an amazing woman and teacher. I would definitely take her class again if she started teaching another subject. She is very easy to talk to and shares her opinions yet listens to others as well. Yes, controversial topics often come up in class but its good to talk about those things and she doesn't do it in an inappropriate way.

I actually looked forward to this class more than any of the others because of the great class discussions that were somewhat controversial. She likes when you participate and gets to know you by name. She doesn't take off points if you miss class, but if you miss class, you'll most likely miss something important - so go!

Ms. Cooper was one of my favorite teachers that I've had so far. The only thing is that she can be a tough grader but she is very nice and helpful and wants the best for her students. Her lectures can be very controversial and she likes to speak her mind and opinion but thats what makes her fun. Would definitely recommend taking her.

Professor Cooper, in my opinion, is probably about as good as KSU Seminar teachers go. Personally, I enjoyed her lectures a lot. She cancels class about 50% of the time, so that always great. I thought her tests were pretty easy and as long as you actually attend the classes she doesn't cancel, you'll do fine.

Professor Cooper is the best professor I had this semester! She ALWAYS responded to my emails and questions within the same day and even helped me with an assignment for another class. Her lectures are interesting and you'll do good on her tests if you take good notes. I'd definitely take her again if I could!

If u want an easy A, don't take her. If you want a teacher that teaches with her heart and cares about you, take her! Do the extra credit cause you'll need it after her APA final exam paper!!!!!

Professor Cooper is an amazing lady, her lectures are always interesting and partain to real life situations. There is a lot of work, but most of it is very simple and can easily be done. She is always there if you have any questions and will help you in any way that she can. This has been one of my favorite classes, would reccomend taking her.

By far the best teacher I have ever had. She speaks her mind and allows students to do the same without judgement. There is a good amount of work but her directions are clear and she is willing to answer ANY questions at ANY time about the assignments. She has taught me so much more than what's in the textbook. Take her if you have the chance!

Professor Cooper was a cool teacher. However, I felt some of the topics we discussed in class were a little controversial and made me a little uncomfortable at times. I emailed her a lot during the semester, and she always responded and was helpful. Make sure you pay attention in class because not everything on the test comes from the textbook.

She was all around an amazing person. She truly cared about every student and wanted to make a change in everyone's lives. She does give a lot of assignments but they're all to teach you a lesson and she provides extra credit. Speak up in class and she will absolutely love you, and you'll love her. Wishing I could have her again as a professor.

Professor Cooper was one of the most caring teachers I've ever had in my life. She truly does care about her students and makes very good points on controversial topics. She emails all assignments with brief instructions that are confusing to follow. She also really tries to challenge you in an "easy A" class so be prepared.

Take this class if you want a good professor, not an easy one. This class is not hard, but you have to work for the grade. My work ethic sucks and I enjoyed this class. Grades somewhat tough, but fair, and the key element to a good grade is the ability to show your personality through your work while remaining professional. Serious about deadlines.

She is an awesome lady that actually cares for everyone of her students. If you want an A in the class you will have to work for it. Just follow what she says and be creative, you will do just fine. I would love to take her again.

Prof. Cooper is my favorite teacher of all time. I wish I could take her class again. I've never had a teacher care about me that much before and it really touched my heart. Tests are fill in the blank but they aren't hard. Go to class because her lectures are amazing. Do NOT disrespect her cause she can dish it right back to you. She is wonderful.

Professor Cooper is great! She really cares about her students and their success. She can get off track in her lectures, but for the most part the class is easy and fun. Make friends in class, because there will be group projects and group and individual presentations.

It's only the third week of class and I'm so glad that I chose her. She even has former students that come by to visit which is nice to see because she really cares. She's challenging though. Doesn't take off for not attending class, but if you miss class, you'll miss something important.

She is caring and makes the class entertaining. The work load is moderate; you just have to try. I do not think that she is rude, she seems fair and willing to talk anything over with you.

Prof. Cooper is awesome, her lectures aren't boring, however she tends to get off topic. She doesn't give clear instructions on assignments, but grades them hard. There is multiple group assignments and there is a final exam paper that has to be in APA. Rarely gives extra credit, overall good teacher.

She is a great Professor. She cancels class when we finish stuff early so we don't have to come on days just to waste time. She is very understanding and knows we have a lot of work for other classes. Her lectures are amazing and she will say what she feels so do not be offended she likes to have controversial topic discussions in class.

Professor Cooper is a good person and wants what is best for her students. You will learn more from her about life than from the book, which is a good thing. She may grade hard, but she does so in an attempt to teach each student a lesson going forward. If you are a good student and she genuinely likes you, she'll make sure you pass.

I thought this class would be dumb but it turned out to be my favorite class and favorite professor. She definitely teaches you the transition from high school to college and most of the people that don't like her are still stuck back in high school ways. She makes it clear that you have to grow up in college to be successful. Great teacher!

Amazing and really cares about her students. If you put 20% of your effort into this class you can get an A. Attendance is not mandatory but she will often give graded assignments which you have to be their to get credit. She is extremely helpful and not intimidating. Highly recommend.

Professor Cooper is very passionate about making sure everyone is positive they want to be a teacher. She is all about real-world information, not the textbook. She is a VERY tough grader, especially with group projects. You have to go ALL OUT in order to get a decent grade. Avoid using technology, she will give you a better grade without it.

This lady was my saving grace to my GPA this semester! Go to class and you really won't need the book. Everyone saying her expectations are "unclear" are just plain stupid because she literally teaches every test and assignment - just do EXACTLY what she says. Best professor I've had so far!

Professor Cooper definitely has high expectations and will not let you pass if you just do bare minimum. But shes such a respectful & knowledgeable professor & will help you so much!

I took her for a hybrid class, so we only met in person a few times. These few times were sometimes helpful, sometimes pointless. She gave a lot of work, but you basically had the whole semester to do it, so it was not bad. This class has field experience, and she is really helpful with it (and everything else too) if you need help.

Fairly easy intro to education class, super understanding and helpful teacher. Wish I had more live class time though.
