Makes the class go by real fast. Teachers the material until everyone understands. Will not test you on things she has not covered. Little homework. Always has a smile on her face. Lets you use notes taken in class that is in a blue book.

This is the only math teacher that I can honestly say I really enjoyed! She makes math tolerable to do. :) I don't normaly pass my math classes with high grades until I had her. However, that does not mean you can slack off. It's an at your own pace class, but you can't slack off, or you'll fail quickly.

She is the best teacher at Valencia. Notes allowed at testing center. Tests same as the not required xtra quizzes, so if you practice those you'll get an easy A. I would take any classes that she teaches.

I enjoyed the class since the book was clear and the Dr. Bush made the online class fun. She wants you to finish this class with the overall concept of statistics. Make sure to read the material, do all the homework, and share any thoughts or tricks with your classmates. Anyway, the class has mandatory postings, but the are easy if you study.

Good professor if not excellent. She will make sure to make you pass the class. ACA System is a very demanding program. It require for you to be looking at a computer screen from the moment the class start. She will let you bring homework late if you have good work ethics. Test are a little hard.

You can use a cheat sheet on tests with whatever notes you need. Replies to emails quickly and is very helpful. I would DEFINITELY recommend her!

If you have to take online stats, and I don't recommend taking any math class online, she's the one. The online tutors are great, I called them every night.

I totally agree with last post. I'd like to add that I only opened the textbook for the discussions questions, otherwise it, and the other booklets required were barely used. If I had it do over again, I would only buy the mathlab code and save a few bucks. Dr. Bush's notes, the online tutors and the mathlab's examples were all I needed.

Great online class. Prof Bush was very helpful. Book use not crucial but MUST have table card from it (she might have a print out of it to email if you don't get book). MyMathLab is all you use online and teaching technique and examples are very helpful and easy to grasp. She makes herself easily available. Take her. Easy to learn.

Took online during the summer. The professor's great. She gave us extra points for submitting work in early. The quizzes are exactly like the homework, and the final is exactly like the quizzes, which is awesome! Just study the homework, and you'll be fine Learn how to use your graphing calculator,and you will have nothing to worry about. Take her!

Took Prof. Bush for Online Statistics class (Fall '11), and passed it with a B!!!!!!!!! The beginning of the course is real easy but toward the end is very time consuming, (it's probably because it is a 6 weeks course). However as a student who does poorly in math I was able to get a B!!!! I would definitely recommend her. Very simple instructions, no discussions due, her tests are not so bad, study the homework and quizzes because they are very similar to the test. I would take her again.

Online: Trig isn't the easiest, but it was made easy through MyMathLab and her help. Don't need a book unless you want to spend the money, book is in MyMathLab electronically. Do homework and discussions and watch the videos.

Ms Bush was very helpful and made everything understandable. I received and A. I never could really understand or even like math. Her teaching techniques made it simple for me to grasp. This is the first time I really enjoyed doing the homework and quizzes. There is a midterm and final thats proctored and they are exactly like the quizzes.

I took her online STA class and it is very straight forward. She responds quickly to emails. I taught myself the entire class and she lets you use notes on the mid-term and final.

She is very prepared, gives you a heads up if something's going to take longer than usual, reminds you about the proctored test. Her syllabus is clear and easily understood. She's very informative. She is a great professor, and although there is not a lot of interaction with the professor herself she is always willing to help. I only reached out to her few times due to her power points being extremely informational. You do the HW, practice those problems and the quizzes will be extremely easy.

Took prof. Bush for Calc 1, and she made Calc very easy to understand. She is very kind, and would answer most homework questions as time permits. Lectures aren't dull and are great for visual learners (she uses different colored markers). Take her if you want to pass calc 1 while learning a whole lot at the same time.

you have 4 tests and the final and the worst test grade is dropped to the final grade. The prof. is really clear and tries to make things simple and more understandable. Attendance isn't mandatory but its Math so you'll miss A LOT if you miss a day. Take her!! she's seriously the best prof.

Toughest grader I've ever had. 4 HW assign plus test every week. Had a 97% until midterm which dropped me to a 73%! Mid term and Final is worth 40% each of final grade. Had to drop class. It would of been impossible to get back to what I had since HW and test are not worth enough to build back up. You've been warned! Good luck.

Dr. Bush, in my opinion, is the God of Mathematics. Calculus 1 is absolutely no joke and I know she understands that. If you go up to her with a question, she will not let you leave until you understand what you're asking about. She cares about her students' success. Her teaching style is so easy to understand. Super Easy. Waited til the day of, sometimes even an hour before to start asmts. Super tedious because you will have like four asmts and a quiz each week all due on the same day. So it will take a few hours sometimes. But you can do assignments 5 times each (make sure you get 100s on them) and quizzes twice (highest grade counts). Easy A!! Take!!!

The best math professor I ever had. I took this class online and I really enjoyed that. the syllabus was very clear. 2-3 assignments per week, 4 quizzes which you can take twice and the higher one is counted, 2 tests (mid-term & final). I took Professor Bush for Statistics, i signed up for a hybrid course. Class was only once a week and you have more than enough time to get the hw done. In the beginning chapters, hw and a quiz was due every week but as the chapters got longer, it was due every 2 weeks. She helps you during the quiz and final and its all open notes! Shes the best!!

The class is straightforward. You have 4 test and a final, which is cumulative. The only downfall, there is a lot of hw which is expected for a calc class but it gives you practice for the test. Study guides are hw questions focused on the test so in the long run hw will help you pass. Always ask questions especially on hw review. Best professor!

Be prepared to do A LOT of homework (2-4 MyMathLab sections) and 1 quiz each week! Unlimited attempts with the homework, and 2 attempts for each quiz. Straight forward, the homework and quizzes are graded so heavily that you absolutely CAN pass with at least a C- even if you bomb the exams. DO YOUR HOMEWORK until you get 100%, quizzes based on HMWK

I took this class online and it was the easiest math class I have taken to date. The way she set up the course was very efficient and helpful. All the quizzes and tests were at home and gave me a chance to practice for the midterm and final, both of which she gave a study guide for that was very thorough. I would definitely take her again.

Took her for stats (hybrid) and trig (online). Both were super easy. For stats, tests and quizzes were open notes. For trig, you could take the quizzes twice and keep the higher score. Trig tests were taken in the testing center and you could bring an index card (1 for midterm, 2 for final). Just pay attention in trig if you have to take calc 2.

She is very understanding and will help you. I took her as hybrid. I never really came to the class because all you do is basically work on the homework and take notes thats all. I would have taken it online if thats what I knew in the beginning we would do. She made this class easy to understand.

Took this class online and it wasn't that difficult. If you put in the time and study for the midterm and final, you will pass the class. The only bad thing about this class is the midterm and final make up 40% of your grade. Overall, it's an easy class if you study and put in the work.

Took this class online. I didn't feel like I had a teacher since I havent talked to her once this semester. It's a good class. Put in the work and you'll be fine. Not going to lie the "only two exams(midterm and final) is a bit of a gamble. You don't have a lot of recoveries if you fail either exam.

She is a most excellent guide. I took the online class, so there's no actual teaching going on, but she has set everything up in pearson right nice. Just watch the videos and read your textbook to figure out how to solve the math problems and you will be fine. The textbook is your best friend in this class.

hybrid honors stat class, by far the best professor .It's 1quiz, 1 hw assignment every week, open notes but in exchange its like 40-60 hw questions that takes 1-2 hours to do. Mostly self taught, but she's very good at explaining. Would 100% take as long as you take good notes from hw and ppt, set for quiz. project at the end for honors. Met 1xweek

Ignore the rating beforehand. Deadlines are all on math lab, why would you "expect" extended deadlines? She provides you with power points, my mathlab, and is literally always there to help. Open notes on everything, in exchange for hw you can legit complete in class. I got an A and it was the best class I've ever taken, she cares.

I took this class online and it was a breeze. There are clear deadlines on everything and most of the material is easy to understand. You get one notecard for the midterm and two for the final, and the reviews are basically the test.

Currently taking her summer online trig. class. Best decision I could have made on a summer course. Her material is organized & easy to follow. The homework is easy to understand and we get 2 attempts on quizzes. On exams we can take a note card with formulas. Do homework and you will pass the quizzes. Would definitely take again

Great Professor! I took her for the Summer Pre-calc term Online and it was so easy. Hw, quizzes, and tests are all done on MyMathLab. She lets you use one notecard on the Midterm, and two notecards on the Final which is really helpful because you can jot down notes/formulas. Responds to emails really quickly and is there for you if you need her.

I can tell this class isn't going to be hard, just a LOT of work. This course is all self-taught. She provides videos and includes the text pages in the homework on Pearson MyMathLab. She does not do any lectures at all whatsoever. Take advantage of tutoring and what's provided on Pearson. This class requires honorlock for the two exams. Or Zoom.

Really nice class for one of my first being a DE Student. Class was online and strictly through MyMathLab, which allowed multiple attempts on HW questions and 2 attempts for the quiz after. Depending on holidays, she gives extensions for the long homework assignments. She also gives a lot of reminders so you get your homework completed! Recommend.

Prof Bush is very understanding that you have a life outside the classroom. ALL course work is done through MyMathLab, assignments are due bi weekly as well as quizzes. The midterm and final exam are done through Honor Lock. She does an amazing job with video lessons on learning the chapters and are extremely helpful for quizzes! Great Professor!!

Dr. Bush is a super caring Professor. The way this course works (honors one) is 1 hw and 1 quiz a week. There was a midterm and a final as well as a final project. She rounds up grades so 89.95 will go to the next letter. She doesn't really teach the course, it's more of an I'm here to help. She responds super quickly. Do not procrastinate!!

Uses Pearson MyMathLab for assignments, quizzes, & tests. Clear due dates for everything, sometimes pushed back due dates. Not hands on but responds very quickly to emails & provides helpful resources. Honorlock only on midterm & final (1 attempt). 2 attempts on quizzes, assignments unlimited attempts before due date. Up to you to manage workload.

Dr. Bush sends out weekly communication letting you know what to expect and the time needed to cover all the material. Everything is done through Pearson MyLab, not with Canvas. I have to admit, I did like the professor in the videos (1.5 speed). As long as you put in the time and take notes to refer back to later, it is very possible to get an A.

Great class! The work was clear and had many helpful learning tools/videos. She uses Pearson and the midterm and final use honorlock. Only 2-4 assignments a week, depending on the lesson. She is very understanding of issues that may occur. Overall really easy class- coming from someone who procrastinates. I definitely recommend this professor!

Wendy's MAC1140 class is mostly self-paced, with clear due dates and helpful resources. While there are no lectures, the textbook, MyMathLab assignments, and tools like unstuckstudy make it manageable. Stay on top of the workload and you'll likely do well.

This is literally the best teacher ever. Homework takes hours but if you do it and keep up it will keep your grade up. She gives extra credit for getting 100% on HW and using both attempts on quizzes. So kind when emailing and if you need anything she is quick to respond and fix and gives you the best opportunities to keep your grade up.

Super sweet and accommodating. Class was easy, but the hw takes a long time to finish. Tests were easy, almost all of them were open note. The tests are Honorlock. There's a lot to learn, but if you have any questions, she was very quick with responses to you.
