I liked her class but I'll tell you one thing, she does NOT like late papers. A stickler for deadlines. Other than that she's very cool. The content was extremely thought-provoking which is unusual for an English class.

Going to class was actually not a bore, she made them interesting. I really liked her; however, she is a tough marker on essays. Be prepared to work hard and your writting will improve.

I dont care for english but i found this class very interesting. Good topics and discussions. Hard marker but definitly worth taking her class because she is an awesome teacher.

always comes to class with a smile. has a great sense of humor and very clear in what she wants. tough marker on essays though. but the quizzes, participation and little assignments are easy marks. overall, wonderful lady!

Excellent prof. I actually learned poetry and its history with some sort of interest because of her style, I guess. Somehow I can write better now, too. Everything learned in class is useful, and class is never boring.

She's tough on your grammar, but a good tough. Willing to help all the time. Really nice lady, still says hi when she sees me in the halls. Plus she's a real cougar:)

I wish all profs were this great. Wendy is terrific. Usually in her classes there is one paper (6 pages), one oral presentation (2 pages), final, possibly a midterm, and group work in class. Go to class and do the readings. If you need help, Wendy is always willing. Great lady! They do not come better!

Nice enough lady, fun class, but kind of 'set in her own viewpoint' if ya know what I mean.

I thought her choice of materials was awesome. (Four years of highschool taught me more than enough Shakespear.) This class gave me the chance to learn about my own heritage. Thanks Wendy! Fred Douglass rocks!!

I can't believe how much I learned in this class! Dr. Faith is awesome, she makes the class super interesting and she makes you think. A little tough of a marker, but still fair.

Wendy's class is one of the most interesting classes i've ever taken. She takes the time to learn all the students names and leads many great discussions. She is very willing to listen to other peoples insites and ideas.

Terrific professor. Has very specific marking scheme. I did well in the class for two reasons: 1. participation is a must, she is looking for people to speak up, 2. read her comments on your first pieces of work and integrate whatever her suggestions are in future essays. I look forward to taking more classes with her!

Wendy is hip. She likes Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix. She very intellegent and very sweet. She interacts with the class with real grace. She will learn your name.

2nd class with Wendy and no big surprises. She is still the best English prof in the department, not an easy prof, but clear and concise. Listen to what she wants, read and absorb her comments on your essays, and participate in class, this will gaurantee you'll enjoy the class and do well.

awesome lady, i love her as a person..but not so much as a prof. she makes class really interesting, clear and fun the most part my class always had fun and laughed, but when it comes to marking she's very anal.

Dr. Faith made this class fun and interesting. You have a lot of group assignments, you listen to music during poetry and you watch a really great movie. Dr. Faith is a great person and professor.However, she marks really hard and you have be willing to put some effort into her class.

Dr. Faith is one of the best professors I've had. She was very helpful and she made the class extremely interesting. She marks fairly hard, but if you're willing to work to improve your writing skills, I'd definitely recommend her.

She was easy to approach and was fair. Told you what to expect. This was a summer class, but was easy for an English class. Exams weren't too hard.

Dr. Faith is an excellent teacher. Very enthusiastic and upbeat. Great class to take. I recommend any english class from her.

She is the best for a first year english class!! She's a bit of a hard marker but it's only to make students improve their work. She gives some great tips for essay writing.

Just saw that she accepted a permanent position with the U of Lethbridge, good job U of R, wasting another extremely talented and dedicated sessional! She will be missed.

I took three classes with her and thought she was terrific. I still cherish the positive effect she had on my education. She was definitely the most creative and interactive prof that I've ever had. I hope you're doing well, Wendy!
