Very heavy accent, very rude and not motivating. Careless. Teaching quality is bad, she hasnt taught in the class. She tried but noone understood her. We are lucky we had the textbook. Horrible teacher very hard to get a good grade without knowing what to do.
I have no words to say. The above said it all. How can a parson luck everything. I couldn’t find any thing positive on her. Well. She doesn’t care if you miss class...if that is a good thing. It is understandable that her English is so bad, but I have seen good teachers with bad English. I loss my interest every time I got in to her class. Don’t ta
Dr.He is very helpful to me both in and outside of the class.
Professor is very nice. If you have any problems, just go and talk to her, she will help you defintely.
Interesting professor and class.
Very well taught, lots of homework.
SHE IS ALWAYS LAUGHING!!
She's rude if you ask her questions. But, she will always help you out.... The class is xxxxxtremely easy. A little difficult to comprehend what she talks. She's very considerate. Gotta admit, she is an intellectual person, and has lots of knowledge in her field.

u can't understand her and she's is VERY VERY RUDE when you ask her a simple question. She just responds with what sounds like "How am i supposed to teach you if you don't know it?"
You might want to take this class witha friend, if you fall behind in class she will tell you what to do once, only once. So if you don't get it a second time you need to teach yourself. Easy class to pass if you may attention and attend class. The final project, although time-consuming, is always fun.
I took ES100, ES102, ES220 with her, I got all A. If you are good, you'll enjoy her classes
She rushes through the material and is relatively unhelpful if you didn't get it the first time through. Even when she tries to help, its difficult to understand her. Sometimes she is outright rude to her students and several times I showed up to her office hours and she was nowhere to be found. Avoid her if you can, but if you can't...good luck.
Like the other posts, she is very very rude. Very condescending, I got an A but I believe that the class was just super easy. I would not recommend her for any sort of challenging class.
I took her ES221, ES100. She is better with higher level courses, very interesting. Needs more patient dealing with freshmen.
I took her ES100, ES221. She is better with higher level courses, very interesting! Needs more patient with freshmen.
I think she doesn't have experience about designing and manufacturing in mechanical engineering. I am sure that if she applied for a job, the companies would not accept her. I don't understand why the science deparment gets her to teach student with her bad knowledge about engineering.
She is the worst professor i have ever had in my life. She is very rude. She doesn't know how to teach. She just likes to sit on the chair and let students do their work by themselves, and if you call her for help she will get mad on you and insult you in front of the whole class. She has a crazy attitude. she shouldn't be allowed to teach ES 100.
She is the worst professor I have ever had. She does not know how to teach and is rude to students. Never ever take her if you don't want to ruin your GPA and your mood to study...
She doesnt known how to teach. She will never help you or make you comfortable in class. However she will always say that "I am very helpful and easy". But in reality she is pretty tough grader. If you will ask the same question again and again she will insult you in front of whole class.
Crazy china woman. her accent is funny but not too helpful. the first part of class is all computers, and for the last half you work on a project. my car made it up the hill but she still gave me a B. weird professor but im not sure how the other ones compare
I like the professor, very fair and helpful. People who didn't like her because they wanted to get good grades without hard working.
She is very helpful and reasonable professor I have eve had.
good professor, sometimes she gets ancious.
She is funny and nice....
is an ok prof. trouble communicating with students sometimes and get flustered at students cuz of that.class was rather easy if you tried. learned excel, proengineer. have a final project which you work on for the last month of class which heavily reflects your grade. wish i took it in rockville better projects there becase they have a lab vs gtown
She makes you feel dumb for asking a simple question. "I don't understand, last year I didn't have such a variety". She expects everyone to be smart from the beginning and is in shock that she's teaching people that never took this class (duh, that's why we're taking this class)
I don't think I have met a professor worse then this one. She is absolutely not helpful, she has problems communicating, she expects you to already know everything in an INTRODUCTORY course and most of all, She is just an overall mean person. You ask her for help and it's like you are getting your wisdom teeth pulled. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
ugh. condescending, she herself doesnt know the material, rushes people, always depends on her notes. frustrating really. oh and shes never in her office, 60% of the time.
Very fair professor! If you study hard, you will do good.
I enjoy her class, fun!
interesting class, she tried hard to help.
worst professor ever!!! she is rude and has a heavy accent and when you ask her a question she gets angry and expects you to know everything!! avoid this class if you can.
She is really a nice person once you get to know her. At first she seems strict and harsh, but it is just the way she comes off. She really means well and wants you to do well. You just need to put in some effort and show her you are trying and actually listen to her.
People would say very bad thing about her. some is true and false. however, i want to remember that she is fair may be she is difficult to understand, however, English is not her first language. if you study you will pass her class with at least B
Absolutely awful: uses useless power points taken directly from the book. does a bad job describing concepts, chuckles when students ask questions. isn't prepared to teach. the list goes on.the accent issue others mentioned doesn't even rank when considering the quality of this teacher. If you have an option, AVOID. If not, supplement from online
Like most professors they have the knowledge of the topic but do not know how to teach it. She lacks that ability to convey the information. She is disrespectful but I am not sure if she is aware that she is being that way. English is not her strongest area. I do not recommend her at all!!!
Chinese accent - she doesnt pronounce full words, talks super fast and tough to understand when you're trying to learn new material(esp equations). Has handwriting to match accent. You better know statics 100% because she wont ever review simple concepts. I sit in class and dont understand, while I dont understand. Whole class is struggling...
I wish she could spend less time on reviewing the materials that we learned in the other class so that we would have more time for the new materials. This class covers lots of materials, people just need to study and do the homework.
You NEED the textbook if you wan t to take this class. She will teach you nothing and doesn't answer questions.
This class is soooo easy yet I got a B because she is unclear with what she wants from you
Her class basically is divided into two parts: learning the software 1st part of the semester, and work on the project the other half. The project was to build a stair-climbing robot, and she wasn't helpful at all. She did nothing. Just listen to the technician guy, he is the only help you will get with the project.
Worst teacher I ever know. Bad English, crazy personality. It's a shame that the college has her.
Attendance is not mandatory but if you want to pass the class then you must come to class. It's a straight forward class; don't ask her for help but that doesn't mean that she's a bad professor; in fact, she wants you to think like an engineer. She is friendly though. I did enjoy the class and it pays off!
Not the greatest but definitely is not the trainwreck people describe here. She provides decent information during lecture and tries to help work through problems-although not always easy to follow. Tests and quizzes are fair and reflect classworkhomework. Regardless of the prof you will have to put in a lot of effort to earn a decent grade.
Not very clear. The first part of the class is Excel and Creo, the second is the group project. Does not help much so just learn the software yourself and do all the homework and labs. Show that you work hard and she'll be ok with you. No help during project, just work with the shop supervisor. Easy grader, got an A with not much work.
This class is a joke. Three tests about nothing, which were insanely hard. One final project worth 60% of your grade. Very little help, or instruction. I am walking away from this class possibly less intelligent than when I started. Does not even really know how to use the software for the bulk of the course. So you are left in the dark.
She doesn't explain material clearly. Does not help. Just sits on her chair and uses her phone. Students cannot understand what she says.
Dr. He is a pretty good teacher. She shows you how to use Creo and guides you through the class work. She can be difficult to understand (language barrier).
Could be fun, interesting class, but He is THE worst. Literally worst professor ever had & this is my 22nd class at MC. Had Kung for ES102, thought it couldnt get worse. WRONG. She grades w/no rubric or criteria. Huge language barrier. Talks very fast. Ppts translated to broken eng. No tutors at MC, asked for help, told me to find classmate. Avoid
She does not explain anything she just sits on her phone through out the class and expects you to do the work. Do the homework and labs and be prepared for the first exam which comes quick in the semester.
She is by far the worst professor ever to work at MC. Barely speaks English, doesn't care to help, when you ask for help she will yell at you and put you bad in front of the class, Trust me avoid at any cost skip semester if you have to, don't I repeat do not take her class.
One of the best professors I had at MC, very helpful! She arranged the make up exam for me because I had to be in the hospital.
Can be hard to understand but she teaches well. Learning material was fairly simple and she shows how to complete the work right in front of you. Not a tough grader at all
I took her for dynamics and there's no drop make up or test policy that helps students if they screw up on a test. She's the hardest teacher to understand and be ready to teach yourself the material because you won't understand it in class. She also has the worst PowerPoint notes. Very unorganized.
Had her for 100, thought she was awful. Now taking her for 220 and I gotta say she's improved as a teacher. Her lectures aren't great, but she's always willing to give individual help and it tends to be helpful. She also checks with the class before scheduling a quiz/test. Her grading, however, can be inconsistent. She's not great, but not awful.
Had her for ENES 100, very difficult to understand, the work she gives out is not explained in it's entirety and she'll never tell you exactly what she wants for you to get a 100% on an assignment, if you're not a fast-paced learner you'll need to put in some extra time outside of class to get a good grade, friends will help you in her class!!!
You have 5 seconds to answer a lecture question. Three exams, three problems each, no curve, no drop, no makeup. no homework buffer. Slip up on one and goodbye 'A'. Barely in her office. The accent is tolerable, she just doesn't explain anything about the concept. Her powerpoints are from the book and she reads them without further depth.
i took her for mechanics sadly the worst professor i have ever took. i dont mean any bad about her i think she knows the material she teaches but there is a language barrier. she makes fun of students that dont do well in front of the whole class room
She is not American but she speaks well enough. The class is face-paced but if you are willing to learn you can visit her outside class and she teaches you individually which helped me a lot. And she cares your attitude and effort too. My group didn't do well at final project but still I got an A. The midterm grade, your effort & attendence matter.
EASY A w/ NOT MUCH EFFORT. All u need to know for CREO is clearly written in the online txtbk. Dr. He'll also show u how to use it, but she only does it 1 time each class. Just follow the steps in txtbk and u'll be good. Labs &HW are easy A as long as ur 2D drawings are identical to the book's. On exams, easy B, but hard A. Friendly. Has an accent.
She's a brave prof. Y can see in the list of profs who teach this sub, almost them "run away" b/c it's really heavy! So don't worry if y c/n understand why y have those formulas. Applying them into specific situations thoroughly is the most important thing. She has a special ability, that is choosing most optimal formulas to solve problems. Tk prof
The class is easy but her grading is not. Make sure your 2d drawing is exactly like the textbook drawing also if you can make a video when she draws out the creo design. Lastly if you are not familiar with CREO then make sure you get use to using CREO.
Shes a polarizing professor. If you attend class you should have no problem passing the class since she pretty much tells you what type of problems will be on the exams and gives practice problems for them. Issues I had is that its hard to understand what she says and she exposes people in front of the class for their grades and coming in late
Class is non-intuitive bc of the lack of ability to visualize concepts. She provides excellent study material&dumbs down tests to accommodate weaklings. Even so, u must be somewhat competent as questions can still be tricky. Class could have been much harder. Do lots of practice&u should be fine. Fair grader. Points u to the right topics to study.
Does seem to care about her students but has a roundabout way of showing it. Will dock points for every little mistake. No clear grading criteria (eg. got a C on the first assignment because she docked a point for every unit I didn't include. Units of which she didn't specify were required. This was Excel). It gets more straightforward though
just be careful. In enes 100 we use creo. me and many people were new to it but that didn't matter. The way she grades is horrible. She checks ur computer then goes back to hers to enter but the grade never gets there! even tho I did 90% of coursework I saw I had many 0s because "you never show me" makes no sense for a professor to grade like that.
Professor He's exams are tough and she doesn't offer extra credit. If you have to take a class with her, take notes on what she says and does during lectures, not the lecture content. Tests will be based on her method of solving example problems, even when they differ from the textbook / lecture-slides.
Since I had her for an online class for the lab as well I had trouble downloading a program we would be using in class for almost a month. When I was finally able to get it to work, Professor He did not mind if I turned my work in late at all. She said there was no due date, just turn it in as soon as you can. Very helpful Professor. 10/10
She is the worst professor I have taken at Montgomery College. Class structure was extremely disorganized and she frequently made snarky remarks towards me and my classmates.
It was tough getting used to Dr. He's accent at the beginning but you get used to it. No lecture, just watch the CREO videos and do all the assignment exactly like the textbook. The only problem I had was getting help with CREO remotely. Sometimes, it was very hard to understand. Two easy exams/final project. She values participation- extra credit.
My problem here is that even though you try to take this class, she will never act like you are trying hard and probably say something that your work is worthless. Moreover, she rarely replies to your emails although you send so many emails. Overall, she is clear, good grader, but the way she talk to you cannot be accepted. That's only my ideas.
Very helpful professor, gave clear topics and review towards the exam materials.
Fall 2018: She did help a lot, just a bit of language barrier issues, so some pronunciation can be hard to understand. However, she is very clear on instructions, and if you pay close attention to her in class, you won't have many problems.
no sympathy, no dignity. totally nothing. different human being ever! I regret and I'm constantly crying until I die taking her class!
She's not a bad professor, she just doesn't explain very well because of the language barrier. People say she's rude but I really do think that's her way of talking. Because everything is in the textbook, CAD drawings must look EXACTLY like the one in the textbook, or else you'll get points off.
Good professor, she has videos for each CREO CAD lesson that are easy to follow along. ENES100 is a fun class too.
Dr. He is a good professor, quite hard to understand what she is saying at times and sometimes her feedback is not clear but. the class work was very straight forward there were videos for each Creo assignment to help you and each one taught something new about it. But overall decent professor just be ready to tough through yourself.
She is actually an amazing professor! Despite that people do have a hard time hearing her, the slideshows were enough and the practice assignments were easy and straight forward. Whenever you need to ask for help, she's always there to answer your questions either in-person or via email. She also encourages you to work in groups!
Good teacher. Straightforward. Doesn't curve online classes but tells you exactly how to get an A. I dont think she is rude she just talks like that
She's very nice, but can be a little tough on the grading, but sometimes when you talk to her she could compromise a little bit. It could be a little hard to understand what she's saying sometimes but it's manageable. I enjoyed the class.
I took this class during the summer which was a lot for 5 weeks. Started great and found her to be great until the final week when all of a sudden she came at me for having an attitude after I asked her a question in the chat. She continued the class making comments about me which put me off. Hence why I gave her the rating I did.
Worst professor ever, don't even get me started. Rude when asked a question and extra tough exams.
Nice but often brings people down by calling them out during class. Tough grader and mean. Would not take this class again.
Very fun course where you get to learn the basics of CREO and work on a hands-on project with a 3d printing aspect. The course felt very DIY, since the only lectures we got were pre-recorded videos, which I actually liked a lot. You could go at your own pace. Hell, you could finish the course in half the time. You would still need to wait for exams
When I took this class she didn't require attendance until the last couple weeks where we had a group project. There were no lectures only step by step instruction handouts to follow in CREO and submit. The final project was fun. She accepted late work for the assignments.
She is a very tough professor but she is fair. If you listen to her lectures and study what she tells you to study you will do fine, this was my 2nd time taking her, I had her for statics. She genuinely cares about the class and wants everyone to pass. Attendance is not mandatory but if you miss a bunch of classes you will not do well.
This professor for ENES 101 is great, pretty hard to understand but she makes it basically selfpaced so you can learn creo on your own time. For 102 is a little bit harder because the class is harder but she does put in more time for this class. Very flexable.
Did not get much from her classes, i did better on my own. Hard grader and sometimes rude and dismissive. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND
Not helpful at all. Dismissive and abrasive to her students when asking questions. Not clear in instruction at all and condemns students who don't fully understand instruction in front of class. Heavy on yelling and random tests graded poorly for no reason.
Dont take her if you wanna learn and enjoy class. I had her for a month and she didnt even bother talking to her students, she would just sit on her desk and whenever I asked her a question, she always answered rudely and asked me to use textbook. I had to drop her class, retook it with another professor and got A.
I like the style which gives me flexibility to work on my own.
Overall, a great person and a great professor. She expects you to be proactive in advocating for yourself, but offers plenty of opportunities to help with that. Lectures can be fast paced and a little intense, so fair warning on that. With her, for ENES 102 (statics), all quizzes, tests, and the final are open-note, so take advantage of that.
A warm and friendly personality, always willing to help! I will definitely take her class again in future. ENES100 is a very easy and fun class to take.
