If you take a lot of notes and study, it is an easy A!! I would recommend this teacher to anyone!! She was great!!!
This teacher is absolutly amazing! I loved her! I had her for hummanities and english shes very helpful, funny, and very easy!!! just take notes !!! recommend to all, one of the best teachers i had!
Shes amazing teacher whos down to earth, if you have to take any classes and shes teaching i guarantee you will have fun shes one of those teachers who love to teach. She makes you think outside the box and will challenge you but in a good way
Mrs. Neeld is one of the best teachers ever!! I had her for HUM and ENG and I will take her again for ENG 2. She is always willing to help u. If you take notes in the class, don't even bother buying the book. Her tests are pretty easy.she does makes u to do homeworks, but she grades them fairly!Fun person to be around. Take your classes with her!
One of the most interesting and best teachers I've ever had. I actually enjoyed going to this class and she made learning the stuff fun and easy. HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!
Great Teacher, I had allot of fun in her class, as long as you take class notes and look at the study guide she posts on line you don't even need a book... She is that good! I will take her again, every chance I can. 5 stars*****
She is pure amazing. First class and you will want to go to every single class! I would love to have more classes with her.
This teacher is absolutely amazing! She really made this class interesting. She doesnt use the book, although feel free too. She has study guides for all the tests. If you pay attention in class and do all the work, you will receive an A. I would recommend this teacher to everyone! She has a passion for teaching and it clearly shows! She Rocks!!:)
If I ever got a chance to take one of her classes again I would. She keeps your interest so much I didn't want class to end sometimes. If you attend every class it's pretty easy to keep in mind things for her tests. If not, she has study guides that tell you what exactly is on the test. She's awesome... and no textbook needed.
Best teacher I have ever had!
Go to class and this class is fun easy and she acts silly which is entertaining!!!! one of the best teachers ever!
Took her online. She gives quite a lot of work but overall the class is easy. She gives extra credit. I would recommend you to take her for renassiance
There is not enough space for me to praise this teacher here. No book needed, everything comes off Power Points for the class. This teacher loves her job and it shows, she makes everything super simple to understand and remember, tests are a breeze and I found myself wanting to go to class. I will be taking her again.
Took three of her classes, Mrs. Wendy is AMAZING. She makes everyone in the class want to be there and loves what she teaches. If you go on youtube she has some sample lectures kind of thinggies and they are really good. I have NEVER had so much fun in a classroom, i would recommend her any day of the week. GO SIGN UP FOR HER CLASS NOW!!!
Best professor I've ever had! She's very clear and it's interesting to listen to her, she's very passionate about what she teaches and making sure you learn it. Encourages students and its easy to stay in contact with her. There is no major project at the end, just a museum project and four small section projects. Highly recommend!!
Fantastic teacher, everything is off powerpoint. She is fun and passionate about what she teaches. Class is easy if you pay attention (i got a 98% A and i'm not a history buff) I'd recommend her all day! Also, no textbook necessary !
Amazing Teacher, So helpful.. gives extra credit if you need it. Makes u want to attend class. Have taken 2 classes with her and will take more, her classes fill up quick so sign up early
Mrs. Neeld teaches her class in a fun way. She makes jokes and makes everything intersting. She lets you know exactly what you need to do to get a good grade in the class and in both classes I took with her I ended up with a high A. She doesn't grade harshly and her classes are very informative.
She made each class interesting because she was talking about things that interest her personaly
Very good teacher, sometimes a little strange but in a good way.Online was the way to go for this class.Enjoyed all what she had to lecture on. Don't need book/
Super High ENERGY, loves what she teaches, super easy if you pay attention. Ill be taking her other classes for sure.
She's a great teacher. Take lots of notes, study the notes and the pictures and the tests are pretty easy. If you pay attention in class you'll get a good grade.
She is such an amazing teacher. I would recommend her to anybody. She has such passion and energy in what she teaches and it makes me look forward to every class.
Mrs.Neeld is honestly a great professor because she makes the class so much fun. I'm definitely taking her again.
Ms. Neel is awesome, I thought it was going to be a boring and uninteresting class but I was completely wrong. She puts passion in what she teaches and that's what makes her class interesting. And this is coming from someone who took the class online ... I can't imagine how awesome are her live classes. Hope to have her again as a teacher.
Ms. Neeld is an amazing teacher! She takes a typically boring topic, art history, and makes you want to continue learning! She is so lively and passionate, and I would highly recommend taking any of her classes. You won't regret it!
Prof Neeld's teaching style is amazing. She really has a way of breaking down complicated topics into Lehman terms. If you attend class regularly & on time, do your work like you're supposed to, and use the resources available, you can definitely achieve and A.
Professor Neeld is incredible! I could go on and on how wonderful , funny, and nice she is. She takes stuff you wouldn't think you would remember and makes it so you can. She is so incredible that I am taking her English Comp. II this summer and Ancient World classes this fall. I recommend her to anyone and everyone!
She is a treasure to this college. She goes beyond what is needed to help you understand and enjoy the subject. Take notes and listen to her talk and turn in assignments on time. That's all it takes. She will make you love humanities as much as her. I would have taken all her classes to fill my electives if I knew about her sooner. I learned a lot.
Mrs. Neeld is such a delight. This was my second class with her (Intro to Humanities-Spring 2014, then English Comp 2 Summer 2014). She made the class very bearable, especially if you are not an English person, like myself. She helps you out every class, if needed, and makes the material understandable. I recommend her and her classes 150%.
This is my 3rd class with Professor Neeld. Soon to be 4th in the Spring 2015 semester. She is such a fantastic professor. She is hilarious and her teaching methods are great. Her tests and homework are straight forward and pretty easy if you show up to class and take notes. I recommend taking her Humanities classes & her English Comp. 2 course 100%
She's the best humanities teacher. ever! This was my 2nd time taking her for my humanities classes. Both are fun, easy and interesting, they will defently make you want to travel around the world!
She is outstanding! Her classes (all of them) are well thought out and presented very eloquently. She can grab your interest as soon as she walks in the door. Very well planned structure and her discussions are never boring.
Great lectures, was able to grasp the material as well as enjoy what I was learning. Would recommend to anyone looking to take a Humanities course.
She is a fantastic instructor. I am taking her again for the next semester so, I would easily recommend her for everyone.
She has great lectures (even online) and gives you all the notes youll need to take the quizzes.. But she assigns a TON of work! Overall good class, but if you're not willing to put in the hours you will have a hard time getting an A!
Key to getting an A. Print out the study guide key points and have it in class for all the lectures. She usually stays in order making it easy to jot notes by the key points. By the time the test rolls around, your study guide will be completed. She's so interesting that just sitting and listening to her closely is enough to get an awesome grade.
Dr. Neeld is one of the professors that is there to help you. She is not there to kill your grade or see you fail. She wants to see you succeed. She is very passionate about what she teaches. I would recommend anyone to take her class. You have to participate and do projects, but it is a great class. No books needed.
I was terrified of humanities, but it was bearable because of prof. Neeld. Her chapter lectures were actually enjoyable. She talks in a way that makes sense and I often found myself chuckling at her sense of humor. There are a lot of assignments, but they are not very difficult. If she was at a campus near me I would take another class in person.
Professor Neeld was amazing! She was always there when I needed anything. Some of her lectures are long, but she does make them interesting. If you do the lectures, you're going to pass. No books are really required. What was required out of the book, I found on line. I would recommend her to anyone. The truly cares and she passionate about it.
I took it online, so I expect it's different. Her lectures are actually pretty interesting and the quizzes are super easy. She has these things called explore assignments which can range from a few multiple choice questions to short response. She also has these things called "Thinks". They're basically short essays. Pretty easy, just a lot of work.
I took this class online and it was extremely easy. There is a lecture you have to listen to plus a quiz for every module and two more assignments throughout the week. They are very easy and she is a very helpful professor. Her lectures are awesome!
This is the second course I've taken with her she is an exceptional teacher. She is clear on what is due and when. The class is easy if you actually do the work and don't procrastinate.
By far the best online teacher I have ever had. She definitely gives homework, but it's always very easy, and actually fun. I have never had an online teacher put so much effort into an online class. Mrs. Neeld had video lectures made up for every week. I feel like I really learned a lot in this class, and it was very easy doing so.
Professor Neeld is a Fabulous instructor she is very passionate about art and history. I would take her again !!! She makes Humanities fun. She goes into great description about the art and paintings. You will have to visit a museum and write a paper. There is extra credit work if you want to boost your grade.
Probably the best teacher I have ever had. I wasn't expecting to get much out of a humanities class but I was proven wrong. Every lecture is kinda like watching an interesting documentary and was something I actually looked forward to. She is very passionate about teaching and always willing to help out. Workload is small, just know the material.
Amazing and fun professor that shows a clear passion of the subject and wanting to help students pass.
She's okay. changed grading scale last minute and scared me to think i had a D when it was really a B after she adjusted the scale last minute. Pretty boring class but i made it through. I'd recommend this teacher to easily pass the class.
She is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She was thoroughly interested in the subject matter that she was teaching. The class was always very fun and interesting. The workload wasn't bad as long as you stayed on top of it. Overall, she was a great teacher, and I would highly recommend taking her class.
I had taken course during summer. 16 week fall/winter work load packed into 9 week SUMMER course! Very difficult while working during summer. Around 10-15 tasks due weekly. Video lectures were AWESOME! I LOVED the class - just a lot of reading and writing essays. Quiz/test were good - just review your lecture notes, videos and assigned reading.
Professor Neeld is GREAT!!!!!! I love her!!! I took her for Intro to Humanities. She makes history so interesting, and that means a lot coming from me (I'm a science person). Her online class is so interactive and it's SO EASY to stay engaged for her lectures. Honestly, she's so engaging and she makes history easy and fun. I 100% recommend her.
Amazing and hilarious. Plus you don't need the textbook
Great professor! would take any class with her teaching! Loved the class!
Mrs. Neeld is awesome and has such great character! I went to every class, took notes, and got 100% on EVERY TEST. She will tell you what's on the test and what is not on the test. She makes the lecture almost like on giant storybook. I actually wanted to go to class and listen (and not fall asleep)! I will truly miss her!
Professor Neeld makes class fun and entertaining and at the same time makes sure you understand the material. She gives her lectures using straightforward, easy to understand, and funny examples. I'm taking another class with her next semester. She does chronological lectures,so you do need to come to class to understand the material
She has the most amazing lectures! I took this class online and loved all the video lectures. They're engaging and funny and they really make you interested in the topics. There is a lot of writing involved, but she grades fairly. Definitely liked her a lot!
She was so enthusiastic about the subject that it made me feel really interested about it. I really thought that she is the perfect teacher. There were only a handful of assignments, but they weren't difficult.
Great teacher, there are 7 webquest wich are VERY easy and 4 written papers, 2 are average, one is a bit more intense, and 1 museum review. Dont wait till the last minute to do the papers and you should be fine. I took this class in the summer and was not totally overwhelmed. There are 4 test you MUST STUDY for. Great teacher overall!
Definitely my favorite teacher this semester. Makes everything very clear and humorous to boot. Tests and assignments are easy as long as you pay attention in class. This is a class you need to try and consistently come to so you can get all of the information. Also, there's the fun bonus of not having to purchase a textbook.
Ms. Neeld is the best professor I've ever had. I recommend her to every person I know. She makes the class interesting and funny it's a super easy A as long as you listen to her lectures and just put some effort into her homework. I've taken all of her classes and i've never been let down once.
There is a ton of work due each week. However, they are easy and something you can do quickly. She leaves funny comments on assignments & videos. If I could have I would take her class in person because she seems nice. The explores you can fly by but the think assignments require you to work! There were no true tests just like 5 question quizzes.
This is the best online class Ive ever taken. There were a lot of assignments, but they were easy to understand and quick to complete. The video lectures she made for each chapter was amazing and made everything so much easier to understand and interesting.
She is honestly the best teacher I or anyone Ive met has ever encountered. Being extremely knowledgeable and excited about her subject makes the class truly awesome. Im taking as many of her classes as I can, shes amazing.
So funny and interesting to learn from. Makes every lecture fun and easy. The classes give valuable information and its an easy A.
Wendy Neeld has been, hands down, my favorite teacher so far. She knows what shes teaching, and you can tell she loves it. She was quick to grade and super sweet. Minimal weekly homework, 4 quizzes, 4 papers and 4 main exams (50 questions). Show up to class, pay attention, and take notes during her lectures and youll be fine!
TONS OF HOMEWORK but it's all super simple. Everything is worth 100 points which makes it easy to keep an A. Be ready to listen to 45 minute videos EVERY WEEK, sometimes two for each module. You go through about 20 modules. Not a good grader. Easy, but doesn't tell you why she graded the way she did if she docks points. No feedback.
One of the best teachers I've ever had. She teaches in such a way that you'll actually enjoy class.
i absolutely adored professor neeld! she made humanities so enjoyable and she really is passionate about what she teaches. there were a lot of group activities and crafts she would have us do. i loved the projects that were assigned to us, which required us to go to a museum. outstanding teacher, i took her for both of my humanities classes.
Great teacher. she made attending class fun.
Manages to keep class interesting. She was funny and super cool. She was always available for help. Homework was time-consuming but very easy. Usually a tiny quiz at the beginning of class so you might wanna show up.
Funny and is really into her job. Gives so many emotions when giving lecture. The lecture pulls you in because of how she gives it.
I had her on campus for intro to humanities . She is absolutely amazing! The way she describes all the eras, ages/period -you wont forget anything she says. Her lectures are awesome! And she has such a great sense of humor too. Test are multiple choice and she is really easy going! You wont regret taking her class!
I took Professor Neeld for Ancient World and she really gets interested in her lectures. She makes it fun. Quizzes are based on lectures.
She was amazing, one of the best professors I have had. She's hilarious and very clearly cares about her students. She makes the class so much fun and has the best personality. I would take another one of her classes in a heart beat. The material itself was kinda hard just because it's a lot of information at once, just take notes.
Mrs. Neeld is the best professors I have had so far. She is funny and makes history very understandable and even enjoyable. I could honestly say I was excited to come to class. It wasn't difficult to pass just pay attention and you'll be fine. I learned a lot in her Humanities Course and would 10/10 recommend her.
I had the pleasure of taking all 3 of Neeld's classes, and needless to say I would take more if she offered them (which I wish she did). Like everyone else says, she is an absolute delight and she's hilarious! Her love of what she teaches always shines through and makes the class more enjoyable and helps you learn. Take her and you won't regret it.
She is very knowledgeable about the content of the course. She makes it easy to learn by providing the quiz questions before hand so that you can jot down the answers while listening to the lecture. Everything she does sets the student up for success. She recognizes and respects that everyone has a different learning style. I could not be happier.
The class was interesting but the amount of work she gives is unnecessary. She gives about 7-12 assignments a week that require a lot of reading and watching videos. Granted, she will drop any grade under 80%, but I would have rather taken lecture class where I don't have to do all the work. I took it because it was the only fit for my schedule.
amazing teacher
Her lectures online are hilarious and her grading is very easy.
Easy enough, but you do have to put in some effort. Multiple extra-credit opportunities.
Her lectures are good and not boring at all. She's a very interesting and funny professor. Expect 7 web-quests (answering a few questions-very easy), 4 tests (her study guides are very helpful as long as you take some notes), and at the end of the course she requires three papers (not too hard), and a museum review. Overall, highly recommended.
Best class I've taken
Amazing teacher. Really knows what shes talking about and very passionate about the class.
She was professional but silly at the same time, she made the class VERY enjoyable. Very funny and caring, you can tell she's passionate at what she does. Love and recommend her.
Be prepared for a very eccentric and all around fantastic human being when you take a class with Mrs. Neeld! If you do your work and show up you are bound to ace this class. She is very funny and engaging with everyone. She may even bribe the class with chocolate to learn how to properly use MLA format! I highly recommend her for English!
Best teacher I've had, amazing lectures. Very interactive and very accessible. She makes the material very easy to understand and streamlined. She was incredible and I will take again in a heartbeat.
amazing teacher, took 2 of her classes because I loved her! best teacher ever!!
Easiest class I have ever taken. Eccentric person with interesting lectures. You will love her.
I love her! The material is from her powerpoint presentation lectures that she uploads to YouTube. But they are very interesting and not at all boring because she's funny and you learn a lot about interesting things.
I took this class online. There are many long videos you have to watch but they're so interesting and funny! If you do the work you'll definitely get an A. This class was definitely one of the easiest I've taken and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is probably one of the best professors I'll ever have. She was so passionate about this subject that I never even needed to study my notes. 7 Webquests, 4 tests, and 4 quizzes, and they're all extremely simple. Such a fun course!
I loved her class. I wish every teacher was so engaging and entertaining when they taught.
Terrible professor that gives so much work its overwhelming. She grades you so tough and won't explain what is wrong! DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR SHE IS TERRIBLE!!!!
Absolutely loved this professor! I took her online and there were a lot of long lectures but she keeps it entertaining and the assignments are engaging. You can tell she loves what she's teaching and her attitude is contagious. I wish I could've taken more classes with her.
So much fun to listen to shes obviously passionate about what shes teaching. I learned a lot! As long as you attend all the lectures and do the work youll get an A in the class. She also offers extra credit. My only issue is shes a slow grader. with the section projects Id be doing the 3rd one before knowing how I did on the first one...
Profesor Neeld is a very chill teacher. as long as you do the required assignments on time it's an easy A. No exams taken just quizzes and small papers
I took Mrs. Neeld for Intro to Humanities and she is an excellent instructor. Sometimes there is a lot of homework in one week, but the amount of time it takes is not horrible. Just use time management and you will be just fine. I enjoyed her lectures. She was very knowledgeable and you can tell she loves teaching this class.
Professor Neeld is very intelligent and you learn so much from her class. However, be prepared to work for it, as this is not an easy class. Lots of quizzes, papers, and a few tests.
Her lectures are great, make sure to attend every class. I took notes but never had to read over them because of the lectures being so rememberable. Workload is very easy, including an occasional easy grade online assignment, short and sweet quizzes, and 4 exams. Semester ends with two papers with no word count and from plenty of interesting topics
Love Prof Neeld. I've taken her 3 times so far. Take the class online! She has prerecorded lectures online with a quiz after every lecture, 4 exams and 2 projects/papers. She opens everything up ahead of time so you can finish things ahead of time and focus on other classes. Do your work and you'll be fine.
I've taken 3 of her courses, Intro to Humanities has a lot more reading and writing than the other 2 courses. If you would rather listen to longer lectures and do multiple choice quizes take her other courses, if you like reading and critical thinking than take intro to hum. Either way she's a great teacher and enthusiastic about her history.
She is great, I mean, I am a sucker for history lectures. If you love lectures and quizzes, she is the teacher for you.
No one gives lectures like Professor Neeld. They're interesting and easy to remember.
Her lectures are the best.
Very charismatic and always willing to help in anyway. When my mental health fell towards the end of the semester I didn't turn anything in for 3 weeks, but she let me turn everything in late but for full credit. She's truly a gem
Professor Neeld is great and you can tell that she is passionate about what she teaches. This class consisted of mainly quizzes and a few question-and-answer-type papers. There was a video lecture for pretty much every quiz which can be time-consuming, however, I would recommend this class if you are looking for an easy A.
So much busy work for a humanities class it's ridiculous. She also grades pretty tough but doesn't provide any feedback. Definitely would not take again.
Very easy class to obtain an A in if you just do your work every week. However, my main complaint was that some weeks there are over 10 assignments due on Saturdays every week. Was a lot to juggle, especially with a full course load. Was not very difficult, but it became tedious and time-consuming further into the semester.
As long as you study and take notes it's an easy grade.
Professor Neeld is great at responding to emails and provides a clear syllabus. As long as you complete the homework each week, it is an easy A. However, if you have a heavy course load this class could be difficult. Some weeks included 10+ assignments/quizzes, which is a lot of pressure. The work can be challenging and the grading can be tough.
The amount of assignments this teacher had is absolutely ridiculous. There were over 100 assignments for one semester. I liked her lectures but a lot of her assignments didnt make sense. If you want to be completely burnt out half way through a semester then this is the class for you!
This class consisted of weekly quizzes and other tedious assignments. As someone who has a full college corse load, this class is manageable if you spread out the work throughout the week. There were no exams, but sometimes you could have 10 assignments a week. The assignments themselves weren't hard, though. Overall, easy A if you do the work!
10 assignments a week make up assignments a get little to no credit, I personally turned in assignments and my grade drops DO NOT take this class if you have other more time-consuming classes this class is impossible to keep up with... I've never had such a bad grade in my life I'm doing everything in my power to pass and see no progress
One of my favorite professors. I took three of her classes. She has all of her recordings video taped so you can rewatch them or read the transcript. Would definitely recommend as the best humanities teacher you could have.
Assignments were fairly straightfoward and not time consuming, but there were 6-7 a week. Lectures were roughly half an hour, but thorough. I left the class knowing a lot more, in an environment that wasn't strict with deadlines(you can submit late work, you just lose a few points) and encouraged independent thought. Curriculum itself seemed random
The way she weighs grades and drops your lowest few for each category makes it impossible to not get an A or B if you try and do the work. There's just A LOT of work. I spent hours a week on this class but I had mostly easy classes last semester so it was fine. Don't take with STEM classes like calc or physics those should take most of your time
SO MUCH WORK!!! I WAS DROWNING! do not take. 10 assignments weekly. sometimes more even over spring break. impossible assignments although fairly short they require a lot of brain power
The best professor I ever had by far! Personally my favorite as I really enjoyed her Intro to Humanities so much that I took her Renaissance to the Modern Day class. She is really passionate with her lectures and even at times a comedian! Makes the subject entertaining and encourages you to reach for more outside of class with assignments.
she's really good at relating historical content to a modern day classroom. Super positive to all the students, receptive to questions from literally everyone, understanding as can be(I missed two weeks for medical reasons and she kept in touch consistently via email and none of my work was late). Probably the best professor on a PHSC campus.
Overall, this is a good class. Her grading system is nice because the lowest grades on assignments get dropped. A negative I have is the amount of work she assigns. She assigns at least 10-12 assignments per week, and they are not short assignments. There is A LOT of reading involved.
Don't expect an easy A in this class, do not make your words sound too intelligent to her, quiz is only 5-8 questions, you screw one, u got an 80. She seems cool at first but later on not really. If you like to read and understand art, you might like it! you are a hard worker and ready to do 12 assignments every week? Take her!. U want an A? Hard
Awesome lecturer. The online class (summer term so a little faster than regular) was 2-4 hour long youtube videos followed by usually a 5 question multiple choice quiz. A few discussions as well as a few written items but overall really enjoyable!!!
Be ready to do a lot of work and never get a break at least 10-12 assignments a week. Get one question wrong and your grade will go down a lot. I am a straight A student and ended up with a C in her class.
If you like history, this is the class. The answers won't be on Quizlet but if you enjoy history, her videos, and links to understand the topic are great. The teacher will not get back to you if you email, and seems to just be running the course as she did 8 years ago. A few updates within would greatly improve this course.
Professor Neeld is amazing! She's really nice and doesn't grade harshly. Assignments are very fun, and the video lectures are very useful. There are a lot of quizzes but they're only 5-10 questions long. It was a very easy class, yet still informative. I would definitely take another course with Professor Neeld!
Took this class in person and professor Neeld was amazing!! Really easy to learn from and she always tried to make whatever she was teaching fun and interesting
Was respected and definetly made the class fun and interesting.
Beware A LOT OF WORK. For a humanities class, we had an assignment either every day or every other. These assignments involved watching 2-4 hour lectures just for a 5-question quiz. She also grades your big project harshly with no feedback. She said there was flash extra credit on one week but ended up opening it on another week so no one got it.
I totally loved Ms. Neeld, she is funny and kind and doesn't mind if you learn a bit ahead. The class was very interesting and I loved it. I wish I didn't have to drop but my major didn't need 2 humanity courses and one I did already. In the future I will take this class again because it is relaxed and Ms. Neeld is team RavenClaw :D
This online course was the most intensive class I've ever taken. There is at least 6 difficult assignments per week most I had was 13. Long essays are a big part of this class. She has high expectations and grades really strict. 99% of my time was devoted to just understanding the material. She only graded my work once every month, very frustrating
Professor Neeld makes the class engaging, but be ready to work hard. The workload is heavy, with 10+ assignments weekly. Unstuck AI and the free textbook helped a lot with studying. Overall, a rewarding class if you're willing to put in the effort.
Only assigns like 3-4 assignments a week, however anything that is writing or projects that she has to grade she takes forever to grade, like months after the assignment, there is 5 days left in the semester and now I am trying to figure out how to bring up my grade since I just found out where I stand in the class, also provides no feedback.
Absolutely FANTASTIC! I loved this class! Ms. Neeld is very passionate and loves the subject. She reignited my interest in History and Art! Amazing lectures and just a fun and interesting class overall. Pay attention and take good notes and you will get an A. Multiple opportunities for extra credit and is very clear and fair on her expectations.
Register already before the class gets filled up. Very passionate and knowledgeable. Has one rule: don't use Ai. You really don't need it write something for the discussion post and small "paper"; nothing is really required for those. Don't recommend taking online, tho it's nice being there anyway.
Opinionated grading. Asks for honesty in responses, gets honesty, doesn't like the response. Grading procrastination. Waited until the last days of the semester to grade 90% of the work. Implies no Ai usage, doesn't appear to know the difference. Then gave permission to use Ai for an assignment. Huh?
She was very passionate, there was a lot of lectures but overall the work was easy to keep up with.
I took an online 10 week class, it was mainly short quizzes and few discussion posts and think responses. She lecture while showing a video, actually pretty interesting.
Don't take the course if you are not ready to devote hours of time to it. Up to 8 assignments a week. Her grading lacks feedback so you have no way to understand why you lost points. However, due to the insane amount of assignments bombing a couple didn't drop your grade majorly. She is a procrastinator when it comes to grading.
Teacher is extremely passionate about the topic and their lectures are always extremely fun. Very few assignments, and they all have very clear expectations. There are 3 major papers, and if you submit them well in advance, you can resubmit them if you get a grade you don't like. 10/10 highly recommend!!
She's an amazing professor and an easy class for a humanities credit. 100% recommend taking.
