Although I enjoyed the contents of the class and received a good grade at the end of the term, I often noticed sarcastic tones and unclear instructions whenever I asked a question or was unclear about something - as if I am expected to know everything. Overall, I enjoyed the readings and discussions and recommend taking the *class*.

Despite everyone's reviews, Wendy is not at all that bad. Yes she is super heavy on her plagiarism assignments in the beginning, but once you lock in to her class, everything becomes easy. She really wants you to learn and is honest about the errors you make. Just make sure to keep up with the reading every week & do her assignments! I've had worse

Easily the worst Professor I had at MSU. She needs to seriously fix her attitude and make sure I actually learn something. Oh and she made me cry. Do NOT take her.

She uses harsh language in meetings. She made my cry for 3 hours. I got heartattacks after each meeting with her. I will never ever take any classes with her!

By far the worst professor I have EVER taken. The work she gives almost feels like busy work and almost none of it has substance. She is also very vague in her explanation and very rude when you ask her questions. Grading is mostly about what SHE WANTS, and that changes every paper. I can go on all day... DO NOT TAKE HER

I would not take her again, puts lots of importance on stupid assignments like acidemic intergity and surveys. Her grading system also makes no sense because she doesn't tell you to in text cite but then takes close to 10 points off from your assignments if you don't in text cite. she did offer one extra credit but that is only worth 1 point.

I do understand the mixed reviews about her. I think it's honestly just her personality that makes things feel harsh but I do really think that she puts a lot of care into her teaching. The sarcasm can put people off but idk just don't take it personal. But if you do the reading and put effort into your work, you'll learn a lot from her class.

I understand why Prof. Wendy is unpopular among some ppl, but she is not the worst professor in the world. I promise you. I took her twice and I gotta say she REALLY wants you to learn. Her feedback is super honest, and it's never used to spite you. She's a sweet lady who just wants you to learn and reading/ keeping up will help out long-term.
