Wendy Pelto is the very best in Anatomy. She also teaches in Athletics. You'd be lucky to have her for an instructor! She's the best.

Wendy is the best teacher i have ever had. She will do anything to help her students understand the material (including jumping on the lab tables to show you what muscles are being used!) I recommend everyone take human anatomy with her!!

The best professor I've ever had. Her lectures were interesting and her labs were a lot of fun. Its true, she does get up on the lab table to show muscles. Very helpful and dedicated to teaching.

Wendy is AMAZING. She rocks out to Metallica and System of a Down, but she doesn't mind hip hop, for she's very open minded. If your interested in fitness she'll get u in shape (safely and effectively). Very nice lady

Wendy is a great professor. She goes all out of her way to make sure her students understand her lecture and Lab. This subject is not easy but she makes it fun and understanderble. She made me want to go to class every day. God bless her and keep her for many years to teach as good as she does.

She makes this class both interesting and fun. Only taking it because I have to,failed last year with Montgomery this year it makes sense to me and we don't have to draw pictures. Leave that for the art students

she is very good. if is your responsibility to study; however, unlike other biology profs. she make the information "easier" to understand. she really wants you to leave the course with as much knowledge as possible. this is not an easy course, but she makes it tolerable.

she was great. she was very good at what she did. if you have to take anatomy i would take it with her. you will pass if you take it with her.

She is an excellent prof. Always available when needed. She makes the course interesting but you must be ready to learn as it is not an easy course.

She is an amazing person. A week into the class I had hurt my foot and could not work out (which was what the class was all about) but she was completely understanding about it. Her grading system is very fair, and only those who did not pay attention when she repeated what needed to be done over and over had a problem. She is also very funny.

Great teacher. Willing to answer your questions. She is understanding and explains things thoroughly. One of the only professors that actually listens to the students and takes our ideas of the ways we like to learn and then incorporates them. Want's everyone to learn and earn a good grade. Great class.

Wendy is an awesome teacher !! She is great in both lecture and lab and does all she can to help you understand. She is extremely fair in her grading. I took this class before with another professor and had to drop. It is a very demanding and hard course but she will help you get through it. Do yourself a favor and take HER.

Wendy makes you want to learn this stuff. She is hands on and gets right into it with us. She doesn't leave us to hang out to dry like the others that teach this class. I actually look forward to her class and believe me, that says a lot because I basically hate science.

I've always been very critical of my professors, but I have to say Wendy is incredible. Anatomy is the toughest class I've ever taken, but Wendy goes out of her way to make sure everyone in the class understands the material... She's an amazing person with a heart of gold.... Study hard and show up to all the classes and you'll do fine....

Wendy is a sweet lady. You can tell how much she cares about her students. She was disorganized and didn't follow her outlines that she gave us. She is very understanding and wants the class to pass. Would recommend her and take her again. I think she just had an off semester.

When they have an awesome teacher they make it difficult for them. Wendy is by far the most caring Professor in ccri. She opened extra labs and taught I don't believe she got paid for this! She taught Other professors students and made class feel like a gathering of friends. Dr. j managed to ruin the way she teaches but not change her!

Wendy is a great teacher. She is very helpful and she recognizes when you work hard. She is definitely a fair grader. Her class is not easy but if you do the work you will get a good grade. Her lecture exams are neither easy nor extremely difficult. They are in between. Sometimes she is a little slow at getting your test grades back to you.

Absolutely the BEST! Her lecture is a must to attend and she made lab interesting and fun. She shows you the structures personally by getting up on one of the lab tables and holds up the cat then lets you see it on your own cat. Attend her extra lab hours its worth it! She also take note which students are trying their best to learn. Love her!

Wendy is a great teacher how ever she does not get back to you via email and is hard to get a hold of.She will tell you a test is on one thing but on a another.Her lab though is great shows each group personaly each structure and lets you know what to know.She may be a bit confusing but would def take a class with her again.

Wendy is one of the few gems at CCRI. She is an incredible lecturer and care about her students success. Her class really does feel like a family, and everyone is rooting for one another. She does sometimes go off topic, but it is always a fun and needed moment of rest.

Wendy was amazing. I received a B+ in my first try and im not exactly fit to be a brain surgeon. Anatomy is difficult no matter what. You have to put in the time to learn the material but honestly I wouldnt have passed if it wasnt for her. Thank you Wendy!

Prof Pelto is a very smart, very nice lady. However, her lecture lacks structure and is very hard to follow. She spends lecture going over pictures from the text, and talks more about things you don't need to know rather than what you do need to know. Her lab was outstanding as she is very knowledgable. Be prepared to be frustrated w/ lecture.

Anatomy is not an easy class. It's a ton of reading & memorization. I found her lecture tests more difficult then the lab tests but as long as you read through the chapter & take notes you can pass. She was very helpful anytime I or other students had questions & she has a great personality & when grading she's very fair !

She is extremely fair. I find that the students that are not happy with her are those that expect her to hand hold. In college you have to take it upon yourself to read through material and show up to class. Wendi went out of her way to help me feel more confident when test taking and even gave me ideas that really helped. Would take again.

Best Gym teacher!! was also and anatomy student at the time, not in her class, and she still helped me out. Hilarious and is always looking to have fun when it the right time, when teacher its all business.

Wendy is a caring professor and cares about her students. if you put in the effort she notices. she helps you out as much as she can. very understanding of the fact that people work and she tries to accommodate to that.

I only had her for the lab portion of Anatomy and she's great. She goes over everything with you before you begin the lab and lets you know exactly what you need to know. She's very accessible and easy to talk to. Great lab prof. 10/10.

Im so glad I picked Wendy as a professor. This is my second time taking anatomy. She is a real gem. Her lectures are lengthy and at times dont make a lot of sense because shes sporadic but at the end of the lecture I feel as though she gives all the vital info. Shes also HYSTERICAL. She helps in any way she can. Amazing professor!

As would be expected with Anatomy this was was pretty involved course with a good amount of material to cover. Wendy very clearly understands and knows the material. While somewhat of a disjionted lecture experience she made sure to answer any and all questions and provided little tips to make sure you remembered all the important details.

Hilarious, work is easy as long as you pay attention and actually read what she tells you to.

This poor woman has been through hell and back, yet still looks excited to teach every day. I'm in her gym class and while yes, some of the assignments she gives directions aren't really explained, assignments are few and far in between. She may seem bubbly and talkative, but she is definitely very intelligent. She actually cares for her students.
