Yesterday was the first day with her, a welcomed replacement. Wendy seems like she wil be a wonderful professor, and she is well organized and very nice.

Wendy started in the middle of the semester after a bad professor was fired, and she still did a wonderful job. She is the best and most helpful professor I have ever had. Take a class with her -- you will love her! Wendy is amazing!

Fun class

Lots of writing for eight weeks. If you don't like to write take the 12 or 16 week class. Ms. P is a big help.

Ms.Perniciaro is a great teacher and an extremely friendly person. Her class is fun. She's got a cute sense of humor. I'd recommend her

Fun class. WEndy is pretty good about being lenient on grading the papers. Accomodating for hurricanes. Cuts slack for due dates if something came up and the paper wasn't ready the day it was due.

Be careful with the late paper thing. She really helped me with my writing. Nice lady.

Professor "P" was FAB! She's an excellent professor... she helps you out alot..and is willing to take the time and explain things.I have always hated writing, but now I have a different attitude..Thanks, Professor "P". Keep up the GREAT work.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Take the 8 Week class...

Mrs. Wendy is a very fun and easy teacher to get along with. As long as you complete your essays you should get an A or B. Overall very sweet lady

She took the time after class or in her office to help out if you were feeling stuck. Good class...do your work and you'll be fine.

Very nice person. Clear on her expectations. Bascially, an easy class. She does require 1 major research paper 8-12 pages on any subject you choose. Will help with any questions you have. Very Helpful!

Very fun teacher, explains everything you want to know. Extremely helpful and cheerful which makes the class much more enjoyable. I reccomend taking her class, whichever subject it may be.

Ms.Wendy is a great professor. She is extremely helpful and nice person. My class was 12weeks, and we had to write a report every single week. It was hard, but she helped everyone alot even it was not class time. If you work hard, she counts it. I was lucky to have her. She is GREAT!! Recomended!

Without her I would still be puttering around writing five paragraph slop.  I've always hated writing, but Professor P. made this fun and interesting. Thanks!

Great teacher! Easy A as long as you follow instructions. She makes the class fun and gives you plenty of breaks, not to mention lets you out early! She has a good sense of teaching and a good sense of humor.

THIS CLASS WAS GREAT. THE PACE IS FAST, BUT SHE GIVES YOU ALOT OF OPPORTUNITIES TO GET YOUR WORK DONE. VERY LAID BACK. EXPLAINS SUBJECT WELL. I WOULD TAKE ENC102 FROM HER AS WELL.

This class was so easy!! all you have to do is write essay papers and they are not even difficult. I am really bad at english but when I took Ms. Wendy my prospective changed. TAKE HER!! you won't regert it

Almost a paper due each week. Research paper due at end of the term. Watch out for late papers. I did not think this was easy. But Ms. P. will help you in and out of class.

Ms. Wendy was great. Never liked writing but she made it easy to get through. 8 weeks, easy A, couldnt have done it without her.

Mrs. P is a great teacher,she cares for students, very especific on the class assignments. I highly recomend her class to anyone. do not be late in your papers and enjoy her class.

Wonderful teacher! For an eight week course, she kept everything moving at a great pace. A paper was due about every week, but you knew right from the beginning what to do. Very friendly and willing to work with you if you had any problems. Highly recommend!

Difficult if you don't like English. Essay due every week for 8 week class. Not the class if you like to procrastinate like me. I just made it! Prof P. know her stuff and cares about students, but if I had to do this over I would take a 16 week class. I needed more time.

I took 1102 and 1102 in the eight week format with Ms. P and enjoyed them both... Yes, it's a lot of writing but manageable.

Class was easy. Rarely went but did all the work and got a B. She is very clear with what she wants from you. I recomend this pfofessor.

I took her in the Fall (04) and after taking Enc 1101 with a different instructor I wasn't really looking forward to her class. I took her 8 wk class and I am glad I did. She is very caring and a great instructor.

she seems easy, one thing that I noticed about her is that when you write a paper and you make a mistake, she lets you know and she fixes it. She tells you if your paper is good or bad. Her class is really easy.

Ms.P was great! She helped you if you wanted to help yourself. Dont expect to just ace this class without applying yourself, but if you try hard she will help you any way she can. A paper is due every week so be ready to write! I really enjoyed it! There should be more professors like her!

She is a very nice teacher. She helps you a whole lot. She can go over your essay and see what you did wrong or if it sounds okay. It is a easy A or B. You have to do 5 essays but it is not that bad and I hate doing essays. The class is fun. I recommend her to anyone.

Give you all the tools you need to get an A. its up to you to use the tools. Fun class, everyone shows up because she is a great professor. There is a lot of reading. Read ahead and it makes the course that much better. If your late, hope you can dance. Your great Mrs P.

She is very creative, and challenging. I came back to class after 20 years from taking English Comp I and she was very patient. I found my voice again in writing through her encouragment. As long as you do your assignments, and turn in your papers, you should do well in her class. She is challenging, but fair minded-Great job professor!

If you pay attention, actually read the assigned parts in the books, and attempt to use proper English in your papers then, you should do very well. She will help you if you ask.

Excellent teacher to work with, very helpful and available. She expects you to apply yourself in your essays, but gives good topics and is always clear with material. Fun, laid-back class environment.

I am not good at English. This was my first time ever making an A. As long as you do the papers I don't see how you could fail. Great teacher!

Mrs. Perniciero is a great teacher. the work load is not easy but she is always willing to explain and help after class. Don't be late on papers and you will be fine. She is one of the best teachers i have ever had at fccj. TAKE HER CLASS WORK HARD AND GET AN A+++++++++

Mrs. P is the best teacher I have had in my two years at FCCJ in all the campasas she is great at explaing things, very good with helping, and makes it easy for everyone. She always works with you on any situation that you may have that would effect your work. EXCELLENT TEACHER!

what an AMAZING PROFESSOR!!!! she not only cares about everyone but she makes sure that everyone who wants to get an A, gets an A. She is kinda strict on attendence though, so make sure if you take a morning class you can make it there on time. all in all SHE ROCKS!!!

I hope that you like to write, you will have to do a good bit of that. The class was not boring, and it really refreshed my grammar and writing skills. She is also a very nice teacher, and will explain things until you understand.

Im taking her online class this summer. It has been really easy. just read assigned stories, participate in DB and you will do good. She responds to email fast. Great professor

She is very fair. If you don't do well, it's because you were late with an assignment or you didn't follow directions. Helps a lot with rough drafts in class or in her office. If you ask for help with your rough drafts, I don't see how you couldn't get a A. Nice lady...great teacher. Thanks Prof P.!!

Take the hybrid class. It's fun, and she is really helpful if you run into some personal issues and fall a little behind.

Prof P did a great job with the online class. She was very understanding when I had a problem and let me turn an assignment in late. Easy to get an A or B as long as you do the work and follow her feedback. I'd like to take another class from this professor. Take the online class for 1102...4 papers, including a research essay...2 proctored tests.

I love her. She's the best. You can come to her with anything, always lets us out early and understands if you have to leave class early. Couldn't say enough good things.

ENC1102- Prof. P is awesome! She is the most laid-back prof i have had yet. Writing assignments were very easy, and we always got out of class early. I would definitely reccomend this class to everyone. I'm not a fan of writing anything, but she always made English and writing fun! had her early morn class... she was always the last one to show up!

Very easy grader. 3 essays, midterm, final and research paper all were pretty easy. she didnt care too much about word count. very nice teacher would recommend.

This professor is the second best ENC professor that I've ever had.

She really helped me out when I was having problems getting a spot to take my test at the online testing center. This course isn't easy, but the teacher is fair. Responds to e-mail quickly. Uses track changes on the corrected essays. The readings are pretty good.

She is the BEST professor at fscj. I had her for two semesters. She is very helpful and actually cares about her students. She is very lenient about things. Take her if you want an easy A and if you want to actually learn!

She is extremely helpful when it comes to writing papers. As long as you do the work and turn it in on time your guaranteed and A is the class, a little effort in the paper is advised but she helps you write your papers if you ask. I would def take her again.

She was wonderful! I enrolled in her 1102 class. Turn in your work on time and go to the lab to get 5 points extra credit per paper. She also reviews your paper in class to make suggestions before turning it in. If you take it to the lab then have her review it in class, you?ll get an A. Love the class!

I was very apprehensive about taking ENC1101. Fortunately, I got a teacher that is very understanding and cares about her students. She is an awesome teacher, wish I could have her for all of my classes. Thank you Prof. Perniciaro!!!!

Great class! She's the best!

This class is pretty straight forward. I took the online class. She has several discussion boards a week, several essays, and a few exams. Two exams are proctored and the rest are done online. Although there is a lot of work it is very easy. As long as you do all of your work you will get an A.

One of the best professors I have ever had at FSCJ! She is very helpful, cares about her students doing well, and truly wants her students to be interested in what she is teaching. Her laid back style of teaching was great because I never felt pressured when it came to papers. Do the work and you will get an A! TAKE HER.

Super nice prof, very helpful! Fiction is difficult for me but I passed unscathed.

Good teacher. Two essays require references. Essays get more complicated as the course goes along. Grades for attendance and participation. Penalizes for late work unless you've discussed it with her before it's due.

Very easy class. DO NOT BUY THE TEXT BOOK!! It is $140 new and $80 used. We used it literally less than 5 times this semester and it wasn't even necessary. Worst case you can look on with your neighbor. You will be sorry for spending the money.

Professor Perniciaro is a great writing teacher! Her class is super easy and she is incredibly laid back. Honestly, she doesn't even assign that much work a few papers here and there maybe a total of 5 the whole semester. Don't buy the book!! Buddy up with your neighbor. I highly recommend her!

Great professor and great sense of humor! Responds to emails quickly. Coursework is not too heavy. There is a research paper due at the end of the term along with an oral presentation, and you have plenty of time to prepare for it. Highly recommend!!

She was a great teacher! I took her online and was a bit nervous at first. She made things so clear and I knew exactly what to expect from her. She was very relaxed with due dates and as long as everything was turned in by the end of the semester, no points were taken off.

This is one of the best Professor I had. I am a disabled student, and she was very helpful and gave me the extra timed I needed to turn in my essays by all means take her class. She loves to have a good time is class making it to attend.

This course was made by this professor, so buying the book is mandatory. The course has discussion, essays, research paper, and team project. As far as the essays, and research paper she grades the hardest. She is a stickler for grammar, context structure of sentences, citations, and plagiarism. Overall I passed barely passed with an A.

Very king and easy going. Took an 8 week hybrid. Lots of discussion boards and one required novel. Research paper (8pages). Not much instruction on papers, but easy grader.

She is the sweetest person at FSCJ. I took her for ENC1101 and ENC1102, both classes I had a great experience. She assigns papers, discussion boards, tests, and projects. If you put some effort into the class, you should get an A. She also gives extra credit on essays and research papers if you take your paper to the writing lab and get it reviewed

Professor Perniciaro is great. I had a few problems submitting a paper so she let me email it to her. Responds quickly. Very nice. Class: Repetitive routine. (Week 2,4,7,9,11) Discussion, Practice Assignment, Peer Review. (Week 3,5,6,8,10,12) Assignment, Quiz. Essays every other week, but not hard or long. Week 4: Timed proctored essay. Take Her!!

Professor Perniciaro was AWESOME!!! Extremely easy and basically gives you the whole semester to turn in your work. The textbook was "required" but we only used a few things out of it for readings.

Do all the essays and participate and you will get an A. The textbook I opened one time so it's not really essential but it's good to have just in case.
