I lasted a few weeks before I dropped the class. I'm a 4.0 student and I was nearly failing. THere is SOO much reading to do for the class and his lectures are extremely confusing. There are only two exams which can really hurt you if you fail one. I definitely don't recommend him. Nice guy, but he should be teaching upper level history classes.

you get random pop quizzes so you have to go to class. he doesn't allow you to quote on the paper! What? apparently quoting from a scholarly source is "bad" and is prohibited. Yet he expects us to express an arguement.without using background quotes to support our ideas. paraphrasing is all that's necessary. you can't paraphrase everything, buddy

Dr. Lippert's class is easy if you show up. The only things you have to stress are clearances and observation reports. He might make some uncomfortable with his 'too-young-for-his-age' humor, but I felt like it wasn't bad at all. He does not respond to emails, and expects you to text his phone number, which is weird. Otherwise, cool guy.

Had him for FLY and an online summer History class. FLY was a breeze. History was a little difficult, but I have always struggled with History. Good teacher.
