I could never have passed this class with another professor. For someone with a mathphobia, he was a dream come true!

For the math for elementary teachers, I wished someone else taught it. It's not that he's a bad teacher (he's great!)...there should be someone who's taught math to kids before.

Wesley Anderson is a really cool guy. He pretty much, goes out of his way to make sure his lessons come across well. I had to take Statistics over the summer and was rather boring at times and interesting. I suggest taking him, hes easy, test straight forward, and hes not confusing when hes teaching. I rate him as an excellent professor!!

Wes is a great instructor. He allows you to use that $150.00 calculator for class and not just carry it around as a novelity item. Wes teaches for the real world student - by not requiring you to memorize every formula and allowing notecards for exams. Come on now, who really wants to remember DeMoivre's Theorem?

Execellent Prof. Pre Cal. was hard but Wes made it easy. A must take Pof.

i never understood math until mr. anderson came along. he's the greatest.

I took a Flex course with mr. anderson and he made it so easy to understand everything and went slow and would answer all my questions with no problem!! Awesome Professor!

Hes a pretty good teacher. Sometimes hard 2 follow.Take his notes,they are better than the book's. Doesnt grade hws.Lets you use hws, classworks, notes,&book on the quizzes. Gives you the answers to the classworks,& the reviews. Reviews are identical to quizzes.Quizzes=50% of grade.Midterm & Final=25% (50%) all together. Attendance=mandatory!

This was the only math class I have ever got an A in. Homework isn't required but recommended as you can use them on quizzes. He is very helpful and if you go to class and do the work you will pass with flying colors.

Super cool teacher! he is very helpful and very easy to understand. almost everyone got an A in my class. He doesnt grade homework, often lets you work together on quizzes. Gives test reviews that are almost identical! geez, its super easy!! A+++ teacher. harly used the text book.

Mr. Anderson is one of the easiest math teachers out there. He cares for his students and is willing to help them whenever they needed it. All you have to do is go to class and write down his examples, then practice those problems and his study guide problems and you should do fine. I ended up with a 98 avg. and I'm not a math major. Take him!!!!!

Great professor, really cares about his students and their succes fair grading scale lets you use notes for tests, just no worked out problems, gives reviews for each test, really works with you. He's interesting in class and funny

I took Mr. Anderson for 301 and 302, hes a great teacher. I would so reccommend him. He teaches you different ways to learn one thing and makes sure you know how to do it. He's very nice, helpful and funny. I enjoyed taking his class.

He is a wonderful professor and is willing to assist you at any time. But if struggle with math i would recommend taking this course with another professor. Difficult to understand at times.

Awesome teacher, wouldnt have been able to make a "b" w/o him =). i have nothing to complain about regarding wesley. he lets you use ur hmwk on the quizzes along w/ a group.

This man is awesome. Wonderful human being. Cares for all students. Take notes, they come in real handy when doing homework. Took coll. alg, never would have gotten over the hump without him. Since then my gpa got better. Then came stats, things only improved who would've thought. Highly recommend.

Great instructor! Explains everything very well and easy to understand! Homework really helps so do it! Reviews are hard but tests are easy! He is down to earth and wants you to pass and will help you anytime you call, stop by or e mail him.

Prof Anderson is a great guy. Explains everything at an applicable level (I'd take him to the race tracks with me to better my odds). Homework isn't mandatory but I HIGHLY suggest you do it. He's always willing to help even during tests! I would take him for junior stats he he was teaching it! Side note~ he's handsome!!

Wesley is a good teacher. I like that he doesn't cram too much info on you all at once. He doesn't require homework to be turned in, but if you want to learn and pass his class, you'll need to do it. Is very willing and helpful everytime you ask a question. Sometimes skips steps when explaining or working out a problem, but he's good overall.

Loved him! He was extremely helpful in how he taught. You can use notes during the tests also.

Nice guy, he's very clear with what he wants and the review's are almost exactly the same as the test. Drops lowest test grade, i took for him summer I and it was easier than i though, no homework required, just attentiveness in class and a followup. Daily group quizzes help understand the topic at hand better too. Would take him again if i could.

The only reason you need the book is to do the homework, but he doesn't make you turn in it for a grade it's just for practice. I made an A in the class and didn't do one hw assignment.

Mr. Anderson was the best! He has homework listed on the syllabus, but does not require it to be turned. He printed most of the notes for us, and we got to use formula sheets on all of our tests. Quizzes were open note/book/ group work. He's very helpful and willing to work with you if things come up. Just communicate with him. If I have to take another math class, I hope he's teaching it.

HE is the best math teacher ever IDC what anyone else says!! He gives the best notes ever and does them with you!!! NO daily class work, he gives a quiz everyday but hes such a great teacher that you get 100 on them. I never even did the hw and all my tests were A's! He makes math easy and makes sure you understand him! Very respectfull and nice :)

Great Math prof. Explains everything clearly, and does what he can to make sure you know what you're doing. Daily quizes that are open notes, plus you can help each other. Gives HM, but doesn't collect it. Tests are very similar to the review. Very nice guy, defiantly recommend taking his class.

This one of the Best lecturer ever. vey understanding and super willing to work with you. If you are scared of maths or you feel you cant do maths please take this class he will make it clear like ABC for you.

Simply AMAZINGG! Lectures are very understandable. He is always willing to help. Quizzes are in class and you can use your notes, book, excel, whatever is helpful. His test are easy as well just need to do some studying.He also has some take home parts depending on the chapter. Homework is assigned but you don't have to turn it in

Awesome professor! Explains things clearly… will break things down as many times as you need it to be! You get a lot of worksheets, but very helpful. Quizzes almost every week, but can work with partner and he's always there for questions. Understands you have a life outside of class and will work with you. Down to earth professor!

Great teacher. I am not that good at math, but still got an A. He always works with you and tries his best to insure you pass. If you can take him, DO IT

He grades really easily and very helpful at explaining things he breaks it down. He's goofy great to have.

If you struggle in Math then definitely take Professor Anderson. His knowledge and patience set you up for success. He has no problem helping or rehashing things until everyone understands. I had him for remedial math and his class set me up for success in college algebra. Do yourself a favor and take his class!

First let me say - I SUCK at Algebra! Taking Wes for Maymester. So far I have 3 quizzes with a grade of 100, that's how clear he is. If you feel confused, don't be intimidated to ask bc you might regret it later. Wes is amazing! I hope he also teaches 1325

Excellent instructor!

Class overall is very easy. Gives "suggested homework" so it's not mandatory which is awesome, but then again it doesn't give incentive to practice. I'm good at math so I didn't have to do it. Also gives take home tests which allows for easy test grade if willing to do it. Him as a person is also friendly and nice, definitely should take! :)

The homework is optional which I thought was good at first but the problems he assigns are similar to the ones on the test. He quizzes every week (some are take home). There are 3 exams + the final. Anderson explains everything and will stop and re-explain things that are confusing. Take him!

Taking for Elementary Math stats. Great instructor, laid back and clear on assignments. He gives great reviews to study for test and many handouts that help you. He isn't a tough grader and is VERY approachable with any questions you might have. I NEVER used the book, you could probably make it without it so save yourself some $$!

Anderson is a great professor and makes class fun. It is a pretty easy class if you show up and listen in his lectures. He gives great examples and makes sure the class understands before moving on to the next section. Some quizzes are take home or group quizzes and the Exams (including final) are easy as long as you study the material.

Loved this professor and this class! Math and numbers come easy to me but this professor really did his job in teaching his students and making sure that we were all on the same page. He doesn't just give you the answers but explains exactly what you need to do and is completely there for you if you have questions! Almost all received AB's!

Professor Anderson is an ANGEL. I adore this man so much because he helped me turn my math life around! All tests are TAKE HOME and he really shows his love for his students. 1010 would love again.

This guy is awesome. I took him for statistics in summer. His tests are over exactly what is gone over in class, and some parts of tests are take-homegroup based. Based on that experience, I would take any other math classes he offers. If you have to take a math class and this guy teaches it, PICK HIM.

Mr. Anderson is an outstanding professor. For me statistics was tough. there are quite a few quizzes and exams. He does a great job of explaining the work. Highly recommend!

Prof. Wesley is very smart and very nice. He answers any questions, explains things until you understand, & never makes you feel stupid. He is very well organized and makes the class very interesting. I did not miss a single class, there is too much information to miss. I got an A. I did not even want to go to the bathroom, I would take him again.

He is probably one of the best professors I have ever had. He is always there if you need help. Even if you go off to a university, he is there to help. I know I can always come to him if I have a math or stats question and he will help me out to the best of his abilities. If you need help go to his office hours or email him, he will help.

I took Wes in the Maymester, and man was it great! It was very accelerated due to the 3 week term, but he simplified for us. He gave us a break, and understood 3 hours a day of math was just too much. During the Maymester the criteria was very test heavy, but the tests were simple, if you studied of course. Probably the best teacher I've taken yet.

IF YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT STATS- DONT BE. TAKE IT WITH MR. ANDERSON. HE WILL WALK YOU THROUGH IT ALL UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND IT. TESTS ARE BASED OFF HIS NOTES. DOESNT TEACH YOU WHAT YOU DONT NEED. OUT OF ALL THE PROFESSORS- HES THE MOST APPROACHABLE AND MOST UNDERSTANDING. NEED THIS CLASS? YOU'D BE CRAZY TO SIGN UP WITH ANYONE ELSE!

Mr. Anderson is a really good math teacher, he offers makeup exams (which is amazing), and gives partial credit if you make silly mistakes, ex. you put -25 instead of 25. Another plus is how he only teaches you what you need to know for the exams. The only downside is that he works through problems fast so its very helpful to take detailed notes.

Good professor, very clear of how things are going to be. Part of the final is take home, gives lots of homework but it helps at the end!

I took professor Anderson for a maymester Math 1324. He was AMAZING. He gave us all the information we needed and that was exactly on the test. He cares for his students & our success. Make sure to pay attention because class goes by super fast!

Be ready to work. Lots of homework. 4 Tests, reviews, and quizzes. Discussion questions are mandatory. It is a lot of work but the online stat lab helps you learn. The final review helped prepare for the final. Awesome professor.

Fantastic Professor! Gives clear lectures on the topics at hand. Test reviews are very similar to the test. Is open to any questions that you have during the lecture. If you pay attention, take notes, and do the test reviews you'll do well. Really cool guy! If someone is looking for a quality education, this is the class to sign up for!

I dislike online classes, but loved this statistics class! Everything is open so you can work ahead if you wish. 2 homework sets, & 1 quiz per week to complete online. 1 discussion for a completion grade every other week. You have to go into NWV to take your midterm and final exam. Both are open book, and notes.

Professor Anderson was a very organized and caring teacher. He tries to explain the materials as simple as he can. He put himself in student's shoes, that is one thing I liked in his teaching. Anderson is a great and very understanding professor. If you attend class and do your homework, you will make an A. I would definitely recommend his class!

Great professor! Thought the online class was going to be difficult but NO! A lot of HW but flexible on due dates. Willing to meet to help succeed. His reviews are really good and are basically the same as the tests! ATTEND the exam reviews! Need calculator TI83 or 84. Gives extra credits for midterm, final and overall to boost your grade!

Great professor. took him for Business Calculus for May-mester and passed with an A. study hard and listen to what he says, and the examples used. I would definitely take him again if needed.

Amazing professor. He always explained things thoroughly. If you ever have any questions he is great about getting back to you / working with you. I did not ever struggle in his class. Do the homework, do "extra" homework, and make sure you are able to do the review.. if you can complete the review easily, you'll ace the exam easily.

Real down to earth professor that is easy to approach. Plenty of homework to be graded on so it doesn't matter if you miss one assignment. The tests he gives out are very straightforward, do the review and you will be good

Would defintely recommed this professor. I had him for statistics and he was very helpful and up front about the amount of homework. All of the homework for the class was open from day one so I was able to complete as much as I could on the weekends while working full time during the week.

I couldn't have asked for a better instructor for this class. The class is not super hard but it is not easy either. What you will have is all of the tools you need to make an A. I believe anyone can make an A if you just do the work. Total of about 8 discussions for the semester. Take him, he is awesome!

Awesome professor! If you arent good at math, take this guy. Has youtube videos that explain how to do the work in detail which for anyone that isnt good at learning through reading the textbook was awesome. Also opens the HW and Exams all semester so you can work at youre own pace.

Professor Anderson is amazing! I was really nervous at first about relearning math, but he goes into detail about the material you might have forgotten and connects what you're learning to future math classes. He makes it easy to reach him outside of class if you have any questions and he has video-recorded lectures available to students.

Great professor. He makes math feel easier, even though it was still hard at times. I had horrible test scores which is why I received a C. I missed his class a lot due to illness, but he always let me turn in my work and was happy to help with whatever we needed help with. He genuinely cares.

The whole class is through Pearson so the professor you take it with doesn't really matter. I found this class pretty easy, there was a couple of difficult homework, but the notes posted by the professor helped. The website prepares you well for the exams, highly recommend if you are pretty good at teaching yourself math.

Tons of resources given to learn from & Professor available for help if you can't find the answer in the given resources, he does expect you to try & use them, not just ask him every single time with no work on your end. Homework has unlimited tries. Took as a 5 week course, loved it. Only 2 exams, review for both that mirrored exam

Awesome teacher. Reviews are literally an exact copy of the test. And reviews are copies of the homework. As long as you do the work, which is not much, you will definitely pass the class easily. Teacher was nice. No lockdown browser needed. Homeworks can be lengthy but it's the same type of problem over and over.

This teacher was so nice and I personally felt like he gave every student an opportunity to pass. For a math class, I think the work is average and he is very clear with his instructions.

Not an extremely hard class but if you slack off a bit you can fall behind a bit, attending class gets you an A on classwork and there's always HW after every class. Class ended fast but he does allow to stay after to work on HW and other things and will also help you with it as well in that extra time left after. all in all I recommend him to all.

This class did make me cry on a couple of assignments but I did come out a little better (no pain, no gain). The main issues was the time (mini-mester) and I was unfamiliar with Pearson (used to ALEKS). If you can pull it off in 3 weeks, go for it. Professor rec. using Statdisk. Only tests are Mid and Final. Would take again at 8 weeks, instead.

Professor is very accessible and explains concepts clearly. Homework is reasonable, and test format matches review materials. unstuck AI was a great study aid alongside the free textbook. Definitely recommended if you're willing to put in the work.
