If you need to take an English class, this is the only prof. to take. Great personality, makes class and assignments super easy. Gives you plenty of time to get things done, I'm talking weeks in advance. Very fair and understanding. EASY A. His classes fill up very quickly.

It's a little intimidating when you look at the syllabus, a lot of writing! Wright is very approachable, any questions, you can ask. He'll definitely help in every way he can. His teaching method makes you want to succeed. This is also one of those classes you can use in the future! I recommend him open heartedly!

This is one of the best professors that BCC has. He is extremely helpful with any problems that his students have. Come to class and follow his directions and you should have no problems. His real-life stories are great and keep the class entertaining. The term paper is rough, but he is very helpful with it. Definately take this professor!

He's a fantastic teacher. Super nice and extremely helpful. If your goal is to become a better writer, you will do different styles of research papers. You will learn the correct MLA format of a research paper and works cited page. A lot of work, but you will learn. He does not proofread for grammatical mistakes, only format and content.

Prof Wright is a wonderful professor. I really learned a lot from him. You will really enjoy going to his classes - he has a great teaching style that makes you incredibly comfortable in class. He's pretty outstanding when it comes down to it. He even sang for us. Show up when you can, because chances are he's gonna teach you something you didn't know.

This professor is such a wonder, he gives you all the tools that is needed for this course,even though you have theoption of getting a C,for just doing inclass work,B for 7-10pages of research and A for 10+ pages, he's a great professor not alot of work, one thing DONOT lie to him abou anything he can see it from a mile away. Mr Wright talks about interesting things. There's a couple essays in and out of class, no tests, Research paper is basically your major grade. He'll show you prior classes papers & you'll feel intimidated, but don't. Mine was 17 pages. He paces you, so you won't wait till the last minute (which I normally do) I got an A in his class & on the paper

Great Prof. will take the whole class, but it is very entertaining. The grading consists of only 2 papers, and 2 group presentations. He will try to intimidate you, but do not. He will walk you through writing the papers.

By far one of the coolest professors/people I have had the pleasure of meeting. No need to buy a book. He is a lot of fun and teahes you everything you need to know. Almost always lets you out early. This class is really easy and a lot of fun. You won't regret taking his class.

He is kinda of a cool guy. His class was very very easy. The only problem is that he sits down. If you need help with something instead of writing on the board to show you, he sits down and give you a sentence as a way to help you. Also he gets irritate fast. I received a good grade. Class is passable.

Professor has interesting stories and could make class fun but the problem is his higiene and sometimes there is a strong odor, if it doesnt bother you then i recommend you taking him PS. you do have to do long and extensive assignments.

Only if you want an A in this class you have to write a 15+ page research paper. You can write less if you just want a passing grade. He explains everything and works with you on the research paper. The research paper is based on your major and if you can not find sources he will help you find them. He is a great teacher.

I had him for both 1101 and 1102. we did have a 15 page paper due in 1101 but we had a 4month time spam were he helped us every class and we did it little by little. if you didn't want the 15pages for an you had a 7page choice for a B. there is no fail to fail this class because he is very understand

I'm glad I took his course even though its challenging. You'll have to write a big research paper, the number of pages out of the total required will determine your final grade. He will help you through it and if you put in the effort you will come out of the class being more confident in your writing and know how to write a proper research paper.

Really awesome professor. You get what you give in this class. A lot of pass or fail assignments. 2 Group Presentations. 1 Final Paper. Professor Wright may have poor hygiene, however he is an extremely cool guy to talk too and was very helpful through out the class.

I have two words to describe Professor Wright: Intellectually Stimulating! In taking ENC2210, I learned so much about writing skills in this class. Listen to what he says. Professor Wright does have his Doctorate in Linguistics and reads faster than anyone I have ever met! He included hot pepper history included in the class. Funny!

Great Proffesor! Best I've had yet. Very interesting guy with great stories. Easy grader however you have a 15 page paper due. You write about three movies of your choice and he is willing to take pages off, but he doesn't give a rubric which is annoying. I highly recommend him, you will get an A!

Oh, Professor Wright... How I hated the, after the 3rd class. But for real, Professor Wright has a very unique way of teaching. He's very laid back, but very to the point. The in-class discussions were great and easy to participate in. This class is great for those who love literature and also for those who are just taking it for the credit. Attendance isn't mandatory but I suggest coming every day at the end of the semester so you don't miss important due dates that are announced. Final paper is long but very easy.

This professor is hands down the best professor I have ever had. He is a perfect balance of being understanding of our workloads, and full time jobs. However, he also doesn't let you just slide. You have to work for your grade, and it's very very clear how to work for it. There is no "reading between the lines" with him. He is very clear and great!

He was so cool and hilarious! A few assignments & about 3 essays. Our final was a big essay which was like 25% of our grade. No tests or quizzes. I used the book like 3 times & never used it again. We had class discussions on a few episodes of a tv show and a movie we watched in class. Had to do MyLabsPlus but it was fairly easy. Just do the work

Professor Wright is the best honestly �� he is very clear on what he wants and how it should be !!! You give students more than 2 chances to get it together and he grade you base on how much effort you put in hes the best literally ........ he loves to give essays

Professor Wesley Wright is literally a genius. His class is so unique and informative, it makes any other english class look like a joke. He teaches you how to think, instead of just telling you to do. Just be prepared to think critically. He does assign this one crazy extensive paper, but gives you enough time to work on it. Take him for all ENCs

He is an amazing teacher and gives you chances to make sure you get a high grade in his class.

Professor Wesley is the dopest teacher. He gives you many chances to turn in late assignments and literally will text back to you when you send him a message. He is very straight forward and the whole class is mostly him telling us stories and jokes while learning a subject. Highly advice you to take him for any class. Amazing!

i love this professor, He makes writing fun and easy. it was so worth driving 30 mins away every Tuesday and Thursday to his class when North campus was literally 12 mins away from my house.

He is the best, just come to class and do your homework on time.

He is the best teacher you can have for ENC. He has a fun class dynamic, and makes sure all of his students feel comfortable and participate in class. He also knows what he is teaching about, has a lot of knowledge. Its really fun and you can always access him outside of class. If you skip class or are late to class he wont like it.

Professor Wright, is one of the few professors in Broward College that actually care. I took ENC1101 and 1102, with him and never had any problem. If you dont like writing this Professor will actually help you enjoy it. If you are a good writer you will become better, and you can quote me on that. Coming to his class was the highlight of my day.

Chill, Cool prof. The main grade is One essay which is 15 pages long. May seem bad but if u have perfect attendance u get 5 pages off. Also in the class all u do is talk and watch gangster movies, can get pages off if answer questions of the movie which can be hard. Overall easy class if u don't procrastinate (DONT TAKE IF U PROCRASTINATE).

You won't regret taking his class. He is very understanding and gives easy classwork. The only thing that is hard is the final research paper, but he gives very good tips and lets you know what he looks for and grades. He is just amazing and i also took him for ENC1101 as well.

I really enjoyed professor Wright. I would go back in time and take his class. There was a lot of writing but that is what the class is for, we even watched a movie and wrote about topics that where of our interest

I only had him for a couple of weeks, but for those couple of weeks, he taught with such enthusiasm. He is respectful and very funny. He has lots of knowledge behind him and the best part about the class was getting to know him more and more each class whether it was a cool new story he told us or the jokes he made while teaching the class.

This is a course you want to go to because he makes it interesting, and if you go to every class, you will get a page off of your final paper! I was not a confident writer when I took his ENC1101 course but he helped me become a better writer. When I took his 1102 course he kept the same level of professionalism and communication, which made the course very enjoyable. He made an effort to remember our names and give us good constructive criticism to aid us.

I absolutely love Professor Wright, he's an amazing lecturer and always keeps the class focused and engaged. He's clear-cut and understandable and always easy to reach out to and receive help. His assignments are simple and he always gives thorough feedback and is constantly willing to help. Attendance is absolutely necessary with him, though.

One of my favorite professors. No class with him was boring; there was always something new to learn, and it wasn't always curriculum-related. He looks like a truck driver but is fun, informative, knowledgeable, and strict with attendance/tardiness. He is an intriguing professor.

Professor Wright made me love English. He is one of the best teachers I've ever had and is incredibly understanding and clear about his work. You truly earn your grade in his class. I recommend him to everyone. I wish I needed to take English again so I can sit through another one of his classes. You will write essays but he makes them enjoyable.

TAKE HIS CLASS!! Around that time, I was dual-enrolled going through a lot medically. Honestly, I wasn't even focused on school. He didn't even know about this, yet somehow I tried to get things together near the end and was able to pass. What other professor would do something like that? He helped me out in a lot of ways and didn't even know it.

I took ENC1101 with Professor Wright in Spring. And it was worth taking. I passed with an A and the lectures, were understanding and funny. The final paper was about 12 pages but was able to deduct some off. Through attendance etc. Actually, enjoyed the class. Overall, Professor was very understanding and excellent professor. 100/10 recommend!

Professor Wright is an amazing professor. He is extremely clear with his grading, and will make sure you finish the term with the best grade possible as long as you do your very best to earn it. He is attentive, knowledgeable, caring, and enjoys his job. Participation matters as the assignments will be explained thoroughly in class.

Very personable and funny professor, I'm going into finance and was always good with math instead of writing but Professor Wright was able to crutch my ability. As long as you do the work you should be fine. Attendance not mandatory but extra credit/ benefits are applied at the end for perfect/near perfect attendance.

Really creative papers, he gets to teach out of any comfort zone, he always makes classes interactive.

After taking ENC1101, I was inspired to take ENC1102 because of Professor Wright. He is knowledgeable in most subject areas, creative and personable. He teaches in a relaxed environment and classes are always interactive & entertaining. His style of teaching is definitely a plus. Be assured you will become a confident writer after taking his class.

Professor Wright is very personable and approachable. Participation matters, so get involved in his class discussions. His lecture style is very laid back with many personal anecdotes related to the lecture. Graded items are five short papers, participation, and attendance (punctuality matters).

Professor Wright makes writing fun and engaging. As long as you put in the work, you'll do well. unstuck ai was a great study tool alongside the free textbook. Highly recommend this class!

The class is really easy as long as you do the work that's not hard at all. Professor made the class very engaging his lectures didn't feel like lectures the only problem is is will call on you and sometimes might be a little embarrassing but other than that super nice and gives great feedback on what we write.

Honestly a great prof. The grade you get is based on the effort of your work, rather than the quality- but he will still critique your work harshly without it impacting your grade negatively. I'll definitely be taking him again for ENC1102.

He was honestly more of a mentor and guiding light to me than just a professor! There are so many moments where I find myself wishing I could turn back time and sit in his lectures once again. He inspired me to continue my educational journey, and I will forever be grateful. I truly hope that everyone gets the chance to have a professor like him.

Best English Professor! He truly cares and teaches what will make you successful in life. He is graceful and understanding. He is also very funny and his lectures are never boring. He usually ends class early and his assignments are easy. Late work is allowed and if you have perfect attendance you get a bonus on the final. Also, never lie to him!!!

One of the best professors I've ever had. His lectures albeit long, were super interesting and engaging. He'd give one assignment every week being a 500 word essay about said topic. He's extremely fair, rewarding people who put 100 percent effort and gives 4 pages off the final if you have perfect attendance, which the final is optional if want A.

Professor Wright is very nice and respectful, made the class fun and interactive. I would recommend him 100% because he is the type of professor that it will take the time to teach you and make sure you understand. All instructions he provides are very clear and detailed for the assignments or essays.

Through the classes he was funny, neutral, and assigned work that he explained and it is good and fair work for the grade you want to earn. He also actually cares and is an enjoyable class. It is a relief to have a break from harsher classes.

Honestly fav professor this semester. He makes his lectures fun and just had basic rules like pay attention don't be on your phone, be on time and do the work. It was pretty easy just do the work and you will do good, I would 100% take him again
