This professor has a teaching style that should be copied in that he tries to get the students involved by using logic problems that make you think outisde of the box. He preps you well for exams by giving reviews of what was discussed in previous classes. He has a lot of practical knowledge also from his past working experiences.

Wiktor is a very knowledge professor and relates this know quuite well to what is being taught in class. I found that with the book that was required by the school for this class to be utterly useless, the book Wiktor used was far more informative and hgelpful in understanding the material being taught.

He is the best teacher I have had in business. Very helpful, very insightful and I would suggest him to anyone! Take him for basic business or hr you will not regret it!

Very good prof, however watch out for that final project! He assigns it very late into the term and makes you scramble to get it done... Make sure you do it exactly how he wants it and you will do well or else expect an F! He's definitely the guy to take for BUSI 2490 though :) I'd take him again.

Wiktor knows how to make a boring context sound really interesting. I would definitely take this class again, or any other class he may teach. His exams are not that hard if you read the material; just fallow his tips and hints and you?ll A?s the course. He is really helpful and cares about his students. Wiktor deserves an A+.

Wiktor is one of the best professors I have ever had! He gets to the point at all times, and makes his lectures fun/interesting. He even lets you know what will be on the exams. Make sure to attend lectures and do the report. I recommend Wiktor to all students!

Wiktor is awesome. He is British but speaks cantonese and mandarin!! His teaching style is pretty much standard: ppt combines with a lot of his interesting stories for global business dealings. He has an innovative way of evaluating individual work in group projects that makes it fair for everybody. (prevents free-riders. I would recommend him.

The thing that seperates Wiktor from many of the other professors in business school is that he takes the hypothetical that's in the text and applies it to 'real life' scenarios. I highly recommend Wiktor if you want to get a practical education and be prepared for the real world. As for his personality: he's a great, positive guy. Take his class!

Wiktor is able to not only teach you the theories and concepts in the textbook, but also provides concrete examples of how they work in the real business world. He has a great sense of humor and is able to challenge your ideas. He even provided his personal advices on how to pursue my career in HR and to obtain my CHRP. Very helpful & inspiring!

If I could sum Wiktor up in one word it would be DYNAMIC! He was the first university prof that I ever had that made the learning process painless. Wiktor is a really funning teacher he makes coming to class enjoyable, however he's not very clear on what he wants when it comes to assignments, his tests are generally easy with questions used straight from the slides. Overall a pretty good teacher definitely recommended

Such a good professor, yes- at times vague on what he wants in terms of assignments but is ALWAYS willing to help a student and is very understanding. Makes the class interesting and the dry material bearable. Must say, with a little effort an A is not hard to achieve.

Mr. T. was so intimidating to me at first, but his became my favourite class during my first semester. He is always funny, and he's very kind. He didn't explain what he wanted from the assignments very well at first so I did bad on the first one, but then I got As on the other two. Just make sure that you know exactly what he wants to get an A.

Very helpful professor. You are required to do a lot for the course, but your efforts will be rewarded. Professor Tutlewski is also willing to help you for projects in other courses. Everything he teaches is very practical. The whole course is a great hands on experience. I strongly recommend choosing him for your course(s).

Operations class - he was funny and to the point. He made the subject interesting and most importantly applied the concepts to real life situations. One of the best teachers I've had in four years. Highly recommend him.

Very knowledgeable and engaging teacher for this course. Good sense of humour too! He's extremely strict about writing style and essay format though. Because marks for this course are largely comprised of 3 group papers, if you struggle with writing, you may want to choose another professor.

First things first, Dr.T is an awesome teacher! Miss class more than 3 times and you FAIL the course. Regular text book reading quizzes at the start of the class (10 multiple choice, open book). Report Writing: Follow his report writing guides; Introduction, academic triangle, conclusions, summaries of conclusions. Dr.T has a cool British Accent!

Probably one of the few teachers that actually tells you flat out about whats going to be on the test. His teaching style is very good and classes are never boring. Dr T wants every paper and journal entry to exactly follow his format. He marks papers mostly based on the intro, conclusion and executive summary, with little emphasis on the body of the report. If you listen to the format he asks for on the first day of class and use it throughout the semester you will get an A.

Dr. T is a fantastic instructor & one of the most engaging instuctors I've ever had. You must follow his instructions for the journal writing to the "T" & ask for help if you need it-he will give it. I had a great semester in Dr. T's course. He outlines his expectations very clearly throughout the semester. He is also very supportive and takes the time to ensure that his instructions are understood. He will challenge you but is fair when it comes to marking. Dr. T comes across as a hard ass initially; he has strict guidelines and is a very confident individual. However, follow these instructions and get to know him personally as he is an extremely kind and helpful individual. With the semester ending, I wish I had more time to work with him. I am currently attending his class, honestly telling you guys he is one of the best instructor i have so far. The way he explains everything is really good. Exam are easy if you study. Dr. T is helpful and has great enthusiasm for teaching. The class usually starts off with chapters quiz, follow by lecture, and ends with video and class discussions. Dr. T often shares his relevant industry experiences during lecture, which makes the lecture more interesting and memorable. If you want to get a good grade, follow his instructions.

Gives "hints" for exam questions that do not appear on exams. Insists on the entire textbook, along with a dreadfully boring group report. Prerequisites for the course include accounting and stats but not sure why. If you like memorizing lists and text then this will be ok for you. Nice guy. Funny at times. The course itself is exasperating.

Has 30+ years work experience. Class activities keep it interesting. Ice breaker activities to meet classmates. Great sense of humour - will call you out on your BS in a non-confrontational, witty way. Fair grader, but not a walk in the park. If you want to do well, expect to put in the hours to understand your textbook and relate the concepts to practical examples to score marks in the midterms and in-class participation. You will learn a lot about report writing and formatting through the group project.

Having the quizzes before the lectures really encourage you to read ahead and try to understand the concepts on your own. There's a lot of content in this course so pace yourself well. The group project is straightforward as long as you follow his instructions/formats. He only grills you on the defence if he can tell that you're unprepared.

Nice guy, difficult tests and quizzes but cool guy around. Speaks Chinese as a white guy at Kwantlen. LOL! Helped with my business but I can't say I'm excelling in his course with flying colors. Good application of class material though.

I enjoyed the practical applications we've covered in this course. It was well structured and Dr. T provided a great teaching environment with the mix of elements used. He knows his content and teaches it in a practical way (he is also humorous which is entertaining). Be sure to put in the time for studying and work on the report early!

Dr. T's class could be tough considering there are 3 exams, 5 quizzes and a 60 page minimum group report. However, he puts in a lot of effort and time into helping students who are genuinely trying to learn. You have to earn every single mark yourself, and there is no free marks here. Just like in the real world - nothing is free.

Dr T is extremely nice and is a great professor. He applies concepts well and makes class participation extremely comfortable for everyone. Be prepared to take the theories of the text and apply them to practice in a business. There are 3 exams and a large group project. As long as you follow what Dr T specifies, you will do well in his course.

My First semester at KPU and had such a great experience with Dr. T. He is an amazing instructor who makes class participation so interesting and fun with his great sense of humor. But please be aware, do not take his class if you are lazy, don't like reading, can't follow simple instructions, procrastinator because you will FAIL.

I really enjoyed Dr. T's class. Be aware that there is a group project, make sure you have good group members. The girl who was in my group was a idiot. That being said he is very detailed about what to expect and what to do to succeed. He gives tons of chances. To the people complaining if you think this guy is tough life is going to eat you up.

I enjoyed his lectures and his ability to relate textbook topics to real life. Exams weren't very hard if you payed attention in class and studied a bit. Look out for the project. My friend and I did it as a duo and it took forever. 60+ pages is a grind but he is a fair marker on it.

I postponed taking BUSI 2405 until it was a pre-requisite, as I was dreading to take it, but Dr T. made me realize that it wasn't as bad as I anticipated. He is a helpful and respected teacher that cares about his students' success. There is a group project (60+ report), but as long as you start early and get feedback regularly, it is manageable.

Dr. T is an enthusiastic professor who emphasizes the importance of relating theory to practice. I had him as a professor twice; although he has strict guidelines and a syllabus that ensure you miss no more than a couple of classes, I truly believe he is one of the best professors. Dr. T, i must say he the best choice if u want to learn something. He is great at teaching is stuff. i feel i would have never learned anything about operation if it was not for his class. He is lovely and has a good sense of humor. Never felt bored in his class. Though he is a very tough grader and his course feels like a THIRD year course.

Dr. T will tell you what going to be on exam he shows video in class and questions are completely based on the material covered in those videos. If you listen and participate in his class, exam will not seem be very difficult.

Dr T is a really good choice for Operations Management. He is super clear with his expectations. Exams are easy as long as you read the slides, and start the report well in time. All the hate comments he gets are from non serious students who either plagiarized, or started the report near the deadline. His class is super chill and he is helpful

I took Business 2405 class with Dr. T this fall. The professor really knows his stuff and he taught the material well. He assigned a group project and offered us the option to work alone which I appreciated. The professor is a fair grader who marked our reports quickly and allowed us to view our exams and the grades after each exam.

Dont be put off by the negative reviews. Hes a fair prof & tells you exactly how to prepare for the exam & how to do well on the group project. For exams- focus on the learning objectives. Try to do the group project in a pair or alone b/c those people get the highest marks. He is happy to help and guide you so dont be scared! Stay consistent

Dr T is a gem! The big paper is a lot of work but as long as you follow the format he clearly lays out for you, you'll do fine! Come to class, study for the quizzes, and try to do the paper either solo or in pairs. Relying on others for a big paper like this isn't always best so DO YOUR WORK. Love this guy, awesome prof!

Don't take this class if you're not good at paragraph writing or turning theory into practice. You MUST have the textbook, he asks for page nums. He is a very tough marker but he knows his stuff and you can contact him with questions. If you're doing online exams, relevant info is listed each week in Moodle. Make a ref sheet with page nums.

He gives great feedback. The final paper is insanely difficult, and you need excellent partners or you will fail. I failed the paper, but I know why? Still did well enough in the exams and defense to stay afloat. Do not procrastinate and hand in a draft.

I never understood the earlier reviews, One of my fav professors at KPU. Outline was great no time consuming assignments, just exams (which weren't cumulative either) quizzes and a small group project! His classes are so fun be ready to laugh, but make sure to attend classes and pay attention to his words and you'll easily get a good grade!

One small group project and the rest is test based. Attendance isn't required but it will help, make sure to have a copy of his class slides that you can make notes on and highlight! He goes through content quickly but will go over ANYTHING TESTABLE MORE THAN ONCE, study that. He encourages class interaction and it was a no judgement zone!!
