He wants you to do the work by yourself.He has open book test and since you do everything yourself you learn. Everybody get either A in his class, it is impossible to get another grade, unless if you did not do anything in the class.

He's my first accounting professor in BMCC. Honestly, he a very nice and good professor. Always expect u the learn !!! if u read the book, do the homework before each class. Of course do NOT skin class, u will be 100% A. Also, he's easy going. He will try to help u as much as he can.

Very nice and easy teacher. As long as you skim through the textbook and do your homework, you'll pretty much understand whatever he's talking about in class. He tries to get everyone to understand stuff though which can be a problem when one person is stuck on a particular problem and doesn't understand it for about an hour or so.

He knows what he talks about. Make sure to really know first two chapters, otherwise you will be lost. You have to work hard, becouse accounting is demanding, and you will geat a good grade.

I don't know how he was w/ the other classes, but he was a very nice professor, the material was hard to understand, but i still liked his class. he helped me out a lot and let me do extra credit to boost up my grade. I got a B, but i think i was supposed to get a C+. If he sees that you're working hard he'll help you out.

Prof. Donnay is a knowledgeable professor who communicates to students in an easygoing manner. If you do the homework you'll do well on the exams. He also has a nice smile! I highly recommend him.

i was pretty satisfied after finishing this class because i learned a lot and without having any prior knowledge it was easy for me to acquire an A. He is nice. If you ask question, he spent much time to explain. Many chances to get extra credit. If you work hard, at least you would get B. Like math class, this class is based on concept and understanding. If you did good in Acct I, then no problem in Acct II.

professor donnay is great, realy understanding. When i dont understand something he makes it really clear. Sometimes gets side tracked but overall does a great job. if you dont really wanna learn dont go to class

i do not know what the rest of you are saying.he is a great teacher.maybe you guys should study and pay attention more. his accent is very weak and very understandable. don't take a class you cannot handle.i got an A- and i worked really hard for it.i recommend anyone taking accounting to take his class.

EXCELLENT PROFESSOR. Very knowledgeable and really knows how to teach. He won?t quit until you understand the chapter and he will digest it for you but you have to do your part, don?t expect him to study for you. If you fail this class is not because of him, it?s because of you. He really caresQ

This is the best teacher ever!!!And you know how I know?He's my dad. He really isn't that bad. I've been in his classes and he is strict but then again half of you people don't pay attention. Your always on you ipods and sleeping. If you actually tried to pay attnention then you would learn something.

GREAT PROFESSOR! He teachs well, he is super clear and also very flexible but you have to study. Dont expect him to do your job. He is always on good mood and with a smile on his face. His daugheter is righ. He is a Great Professor!

Professor Donnay is one of the best teacher that I have ever had. Patient and helpful. If he sees that you are doing your work, he will definitely helps you. If you are an accounting major you should take him! I had him for accounting 222 and taxes.

This professor is something else. Even though I got an A minus, he was the best. He tried to explain to the whole class that if we didn't follow him during every class we would be lost by the time of the final and this is what happened to most of the students. He is so helpful, he would spend extra time explaining you things. Excellent professor.

You need to do all your chapter HW beforehand with this professor. If you do the HW and read the books yourself, it is easy to take his class, otherwise you will lost. He is willing to spend his extra hours to answer students' questions. You can't play cell phone in his class. If you do your HW, getting an A is easy.I like this prof. He is the best

where to begin. first of thank you professor for an amazing semester. professor Donnay is funny, sarcastic but you shouldn't take it personally, very helpful will repeat if you need him to. He is very enthusiastic about his teaching you can tell that he really loves what he does and he wants to learn the material. ;)

Prof. Donnay is not easy. You need to go though the textbook and do the excises before his class, if you do it. I do not think the class is hard as most of the comment s. If you are lazy and do not work on it, it will be hard to pass his course. However, he helps when you have questions and will explain to you until you get it.

you have to do exactly what he says. if you follow his lecture and read the book it is very easy to get an A . But if you do not listen to him than forget about everything. but i find him very easy and helpful. if you do not understand he will explain to you 100 times. students who really wants to study and have a good grad just listen to him.

Professor really cares about you to get the knowledge you need in your future career. He pushes you to work hard. He explains well, if you really want to understand and know your staff- that's Professor for you.

He is very enthusiastic and funny, which makes the class enjoyable. The grade was based of of 3 exams and the first exam is dropped if you improved on the others. He also added some participation points to my grade because I always participated.

Professor Donnay is one of the best Professor in Accounting. If you don't understand something, he explains it to you as many times as necessary until you can catch the class. He has a good sense of humor and quite patient but he also asks us to follow his rules in class, such as not using cell phones, or being distracted talking to classmates

Professor Donnay is a great accounting professor. He helps students to understand topics by themselves and guide students. It is important to read chapters before taking the classes. You will definitely learn a lot from this class. It is a good class for a future solid accounting background!

Be prepared to read alot. In order to understand Accounting you have to READ. Professor Donnay is a good professor. He can come off alittle rough at times but that is because this is college. If he sees you are trying and want to learn he will go the extra mile for you. You must come to class prepared and that is reading the chapter before class.

He definitely puts your learning in your own hands, which might be off-putting for younger students. Lots of reading on your own but plenty of opportunity to ask for clarity in class. Tests are fifty questions each and pretty simple if you have an understanding of the material. Don't expect to have your hand held for the semester!

Prof. Donnay expects you to be on time to class and treats you like an adult. You must read before arriving to class, since class is focused on what you last read. He goes over it until you fully understand. 4 exams are giving throughout the whole semester. If you don't read, then the course will be difficult, don't fall behind. Great professor!

Honestly, the professor expects you to read before attending class, which is understandable. The tests consist of 50 questions, and the class isn't recommended for people who can't take criticisms. He isn't the worst professor but there is most definitely better ways of teaching the course.
