Hes the bomb

This is a fun class, and the teacher makes it fun. I recommend his classes!

Nice guy. Grades hard. - he would be proud of those sentences.

His enthusiasm is infectious. The class is a lot of work, but rewarding. I don't know why you're looking at this, if you have to take the class, it isn't like you have a choice in professors. Enjoy Will; he's funny, brilliant, and cares about students.

A great prof. Don't use any "be verbs", and don't procrastinate. A very funny guy, and a pleasure to have.

Fabulous prof.! Always willing to help you out and is entertaining in class -- makes assignments interesting and won't try to trick you. Definately recommend taking him for BCA classes. You'll learn a lot from him.

Will Anderson is one of the coolest professors I know...not nescessarily in class, but outside of class he will talk with you about anything. Lots of the losers on this site just think he's hard because they don't want to put the effort in to do well.

If your work is like your typing, looks like he made the right call...

Will Anderson is the man. (sorry Will, I used "be" verbs) He's a great teacher and just a cool guy. Nit-picky with grading, but it only makes your pay more attention to details. Take him for any BCA class you can!

Will is a great guy and professor! He won't just help you with your work, but with you life. He taught me how to cure a hang over! Thanks Will!

Will's class is a good time. The book sucks, but he manages to make it interesting. I enjoy going to his class, some of the lectures might be long, but never too boring. He knows what he's doing. Highly recommended, in my opinion.

Will Puts class at a personal level. Take that how you will. Some students can be intimidated by a professor that is actually willing to communicate. Classes with Will can go both ways. If you sit in the back row and sleep... dont take Will's class.

Will is a professor who really cares about his students. He expects a lot out of you, but if you put in the effort, you'll get a lot out of his class. Highly recommended if you want to learn.

One of the best professors I've had. Great sense of humor and excited about the subject matter. People fail his class because they don't put forth the effort, and then blame him because it's easier.

Will is by far one of the best teachers this department has. If your a whiny, I can't do if for myself, please spoon feed me the answers student don't take one of his classes. If you're creative, willing to learn take Him, you'll learn so much!

Will is one of the funniest professors I have ever expierenced in the BCA department. He's 100% helpful and gets back to emails very quickly. He wants you to learn and will do whatever he can do help you out. love those cartigans will!

Will's a little off & kinda looks like a clown. The class is kinda hard, but you'll learn a lot, if you take it seriously. He knows what he's talking about when it comes to copywriting. Strict attendance policy but, overall, class is a good time.

Will is one of the best professors I have ever had. I think I would have hated the class if I took it with anyone else. He really knows what he's talking about and will (no pun intended) always make you laugh.

Will puts far too much interest in this website! In no way was I a model student, but I passed the class well enough and enjoyed my time in there. Will has a unique sense of humor that one must understand to enjoy. Above that though, he's a great person.

Will is a goon but he will make you laugh. He made 30-second radio ads about Lysol enjoyable. How rare. Do your reading for the tests, and be literate. Seriously. If you have a grasp on grammar you have a grasp on the class, and Will will love you.

I was scared to take his class at first but now that the semester is over with, I can honestly say I enjoyed it and even learned a thing or two. People complain about the workload, but it's not bad if you arn't a slacker. Gives helpful feed back on papers and he is entertaining as well.

Will is a great guy. This guy is the best professor I've had yet at CMU. He grades unbelievably hard, but I enjoyed the class so damn much.

Will is the best professor I have ever had. All though this class was a lot of work, I really enjoyed it. Aside from being highly entertaining, Will cares about his students and is enthusiastic about teaching. If you take this class with anyone else, you won’t learn nearly as much. Thanks Will!

Will made this class great. It was tough at times, but Will explains the subject matter so well. This is a class where you can really learn a lot, but have fun doing it!

Will Anderson is one sexy beast. If your intent in college is to try and skate by with out applying any effort to what you do -- Don't take Will's class. Will teaches. Unlike some professors Will also speaks english. Yeah! "Monkien, why do you allways mess up?"

It seems the higher level the course gets, the more eccentric Will becomes. I don't remember him being this strange in 311. Course work can be time consuming, but not that hard. Unless you make a grammatical error. Then watch out.

Great teacher, helps a lot. Pay attention to grammar, and you'll be fine. Will is an entertainer, and the class is never boring. Just follow the guidelines on the score sheet PRECISELY and you'll do alright on the projects. Tests are another story though--don't skimp on studying.

It's been 2 years since I was in Will's 311 class, and I continue to rave. Will is an awesome guy and makes that class a lot of fun. Will inspired me enough to become a professor, and I must continue to give him props and telling me the secret to curing a hang over. If you see him at B-dubs he'll give you the answers to the triva questions!

Thank god a prof actually teaches a 100 class at a 100 level!! Class is just what it says an INTRO, he explains things about the major, always lets class out early. He doesn't over think the syllabus, very simple. Very nice guy, very upbeat. Great prof.

He's so childish! He's completely immature and he holds grudges against his students. As long as you don't have to encounter him outside of class you'll be fine

Will is a great professor, and I'd recommend taking a class with him while at CMU. Whoever said "Very nice guy, very upbeat. Great prof." said it best. I have no complaints about him other than that the grammar tests can be a bit rough, but it's good that they are not as heavily weighted as the writing, which is what the class is about.

Will is such a great teacher! Really cool and willing to help you out! The class is a bit tough, but do your work and check your spelling!! Will is awesome and should run the BCA department!! :)

Will is a great Prof. If you have to take BCA 311 take it with him. Not the most easy class, but go to class and you should be fine.

will is awesome! he has so much energy and he makes class interesting and it goes by really fast. make sure you go to his office hours and have him look over projects before you turn them in, it will help your grade a ton!

this class is good but it can be hard. will is a nice guy, but he is VERY critical about the work you do. he wants all of his students to do well, but sometimes he expects too much. overall a good class though.

My only regret is not taking Will until my last semester in school! I absolutely love his class. The class can be difficult and you have to read the book cover to cover, but this is the first class I've actually enjoyed going to the lectures!

Will Anderson is the man!!! The only BCA professor who isn't uptight. Very entertaining and keeps the class exciting. There's a lot of projects to do, but it's all very easy if you pay attention in class. Don't bother buying the textbook. Great class and any BCA major or minor should take a class with Will before leaving CMU!

This class was not easy for me, but I made it through and learned a lot along the way. You have to study out of the book to pass the quizzes and you will hate them, but they make you learn. The projects were interesting though.

Will is one of the best professors at CMU. He definitely challenges you but when you receive your final grade its totally worth it. STUDY FOR ALL OF THE QUIZZES...seriously..they will make or break you. Dont let what other ppl say about this course scare you away. Will will challenge you but its all worth it.

One of the most memorable instructors from my time at NIU. We (the students) were so excited for him when he got his PhD. I'm glad to know he's still teaching.

Will is definitely cynical about CMU students and Mt Pleasant in general, but I would argue he has good reason. The class is definitely difficult, but you will learn a lot. Lectures are interesting and he will get you involved as much as possible. If you actually want to learn, take this class. But, if you're just looking for an easy A, stay away.

He is one of those professors you can look back on when it is all said and done and realize it is teachers like him that prepare you for real life. Extremely harsh grader, but he's only that way because he expects the best out of you, as he does for himself. Challenging class, but you'll learn more than you ever need to about grammar & copy writing

Does not care about students; very inconsistent with grading; very rude; I got marked down points for not including every member of the presentation's name. He never said we had to include everyone; never was said nor on the rubric. Does not seem compassionate about public relations. Take Woj for ipr 101.

Will is a really funny and really great guy. Definitely enjoyed this class. From what I hear you learn a lot more here than the other options. I would avoid taking more than one other 500 level class at the same time if possible. I had to do quite a bit of reading to do well on the quizzes.

Will is an absolute gem. Some people think his tactics are goofy or wacky, but Will is honestly one of the few professors in the CCFA that actually care about his students on a personal level. He gives what you give to him. Talk to him after class. Great guy and would recommend to anybody. Will turns you into a better student.

Outstanding in all facets of his pedagogy, Will is kind and exhibits the desirable qualities of intelligence and integrity within the classroom. I would highly recommend his classes to any and all; be sure to visit his office early and often!

Will is the kind of professor that truly wants to see his students succeed. He is a tough but fair grader, but at the end of the day, this is a class you can walk away from and know you actually learned something valuable.

Will is my IPR advisor and he is simply an amazing guy. He is hilarious, but he is also blunt about things. If you need advice or help with anything homework related or not, Will helps you get through it all. I would highly recommend taking any of classes. You will not be disappointed.

Will truly cares about his students. He is respectful but he treats you like you are his own kid. He is a tough grader and expects you to do your best, but Will does his best in return. He is honest and upfront about things so you know where you stand. I would highly recommend taking any class with him. You wont regret it.

My favorite professor Ive had at CMU. Professor Anderson truly cares about his students. He is super genuine, a great educator and treats his students with kindness and respect. He is a real gem. Take him if you havent! His grading can be tough, but he gives clear expectations beforehand. Take him!

Prof Anderson has clearly been teaching copywriting for a long time and is very good at it. Makes it easy to understand and cares so much about his students' success in the course. My primary advice is to write concisely and avoid "be" verbs. Also proofread your work! At the end of the day, copywriting ain't rocket science.

Professor Anderson was a very fun professor to have and he was very accommodating. He also was very enthusiastic about audio drama and overall taught a great class.

I LOVE WILL! He's seriously so nice. I will be seeking out his classes for required courses in the future. I had a really positive experience with him. He gives good feedback, but also really cares about feedback/feelings from you. He really takes it to heart. He is very passionate about the subject and makes the class a relaxing, enjoyable time.

He's very nice and is pretty understanding. The only thing is that I turned in an assignment late and missed a day and he kept on asking me about what's going on (not necessarily a bad thing). Lots of listening in audio drama and you create your own and record it. Overall a very flexible class.

Will Anderson is one of three teachers that I've had in my life that genuinely inspire me to be better. He is respectable, engaging and reasonable. He has high standards for his classes but he backs it up with amazing lectures and all the help you will need. Greatest professor at CMU!
