Had him last semester for Stat 201 Lab. I ran into him this week and he said it looks like he'll be lecturing the course next semester. Get in his section.

Easy lab teacher, I would recommend his section

Really eager to help you when you need it. He was just a lab instructor for my class but he's gonna be awesome as a prof! He isn't a hard grader, he is very fair. Willing to answer and help students whenever he can.

Will is the best lab professor EVER!! Super nice, funny, and always willing to help his students. During lab he plays alternative/techno music and cracks a joke every now and then (although he is pretty funny naturally). I highly recommend taking his lab section. Everyone in my class loved him!:)

Will is one of those teachers who will give you the material, make sure you understand it and set you on your merry way. If you're like me and you couldn't care less about Stat, he is definitely the teacher for you since he teaches for understanding, not to keep you there for the love of the subject.

Truly a wonderful professor. Take him if you can. He works very hard to help his students. All homework is due at the end of the semester. Attendance isn't mandatory, but he rewards those who show up most of the time. Has a great sense of humor. There's no reason you shouldn't make an A or B+ in this class.

Will is a wonderful professor, and that is coming from a student who has NEVER enjoyed a single math class. He will answer your questions patiently, and he is seriously hilarious if you have any sense of humor at all. I definitely recommend him, especially if math isn't your strong suit.

TAKE HIM FOR STAT 201. Will was awesome. He is very sarcastic, but it made class interesting. Attendance wasn't mandatory and the tests weren't difficult if you partially listened in class and took some notes.

William Cipolli was one heck of a stats teacher. He will promise you jolly ranchers and other candy but might forget to give them to you. The test were really easy if you payed attention and listened in class. Lectures were never boring, he kept the class smiling and laughing. DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON TIME

Will is a very good teacher. He really cares that the the students know the material. I would recommend actually going to class and staying on top of the homework.

Will is my sunshine on a cloudy day. He was our fearless leader through Stat 201, and what a leader he was. When I say he was the greetest, I mean it. You should fo sho take his class. I mean that.

Will is a great professor! I appreciate the fact he explains the reasoning and theories behind some of the stat equations which some professors overlook. It really helped me throughout the class. He's very easygoing and makes statistics pain free. Start the homework early! Definitely recommend!

Will does a lot of examples, and puts his slides on his website. He also puts a practice exam up, to help the stress level while studying. He sends out a ridiculous amount of surveys so that we can say anonymously what we think about how the course is going he then uses those results of the survey to better teach his class he really cares about us

Will is a great teacher and really cares about his students. He will do whatever he can to help you get the grade you want. The online homework is kind of extensive, but other than that the work load isn't too outrageous.

By far the best professor I've had in the math department. He provides study guides that are almost identical to test!! And he makes the lectures interesting with his humor since he knows we already don't want to be there. Take him if you can!!!

I have learned so much more in this class, than I did in my Stat 110 class! Mr. Cipolli is extremely funny! He makes the classes interesting and challenges you to think about how the information can be pocessed. He is very helpful. Oh, and he loves chalk! Ask about him to write out problems on the chalkboard!

I couldn't stand stats until Will became my professor. He's extremely helpful. He even would break examples down for me in the form or Carrie Underwood and cinnamon rolls. Warning, don't be late for his class though or he will call you out, which I thought was funny. If you get a chance to take him, take him.

Before taking Will's class, I had no interest in Stat whatsoever. He made the class interesting and fun and gave examples relevant to our lives. He is very knowledgeable and funny and I would recommend him to anyone that has to take Stat 201. Oh and he's not bad to look at either ;)

Will is amazing. I had this class at 8:30 a.m. and it was the best morning class. He has a great personality (and he is very attractive, I must say). If you take STAT 201, try to get Will! He knows how to teach statistics and make it make sense.

To do well, all you have to do is pay attention and ask for help when you need it. Will is a great teacher. He makes the class really fun! He puts all of the slides online so when there's something that doesn't make sense, it's easy to get to the notes and review. He also posts worksheets online and it's 300% recommended that you do them before tests. Everything is straightforward. Highly recommend even if the only section is 8:30 am.

AWESOME PROFESSOR! would recommend taking his class to everyone who has to take STAT 201. Lectures were interesting because he makes the examples about things the class likes. LOVEs surveys! Gives you the chance to retake a failed test at the end of the semester.

He posts study questions that are exactly like the questions on the tests so it is important to do them and they are helpful. He is really smart but that is one of his downfalls, he isn't very good at explaining things in different ways if you didn't understand the first time. But it's all okay because he is nice to look at.

If you have to take stat 201, definitely take him! The course work isn't bad at all and he makes things very easy to understand. If you do all the homework, labs, and show up to class- you should have no problem making an A. Math never been a strong point for me, but I did really well in his class.

Will is funny and obviously loves his job. His tests and assignments are not that bad. He does want you to participate but he will reward you if you do. I liked this class a lot and it was honestly the best math class i have ever been forced to take.

Will is a stand up guy. He certainly wants all of his students to do well, but most importantly he wants you to actually learn the material. Any teacher that uses the example of shooting and killing a velociraptor who is chasing after you on a test gets the green light in my book. Most importantly, he's a looker.

A good professor and is willing to help you out no matter what your question is. He held additional review sessions which helped a lot, responds to your emails promptly and is always in his office. He gives 3 exams and a Final which is pulled exactly from exams. He gives you the option to retake an exam and there are multiple attempts on HW.

attendance wasn't mandatory, but for each class you skip you get 4 points off of a total 30 points for participation. every time you ask a question and participate in class, you gain 1 point back which he diligently keeps track of.

Will made a horrible summer class a bearable one. The material was difficult and the R code was too but he did a lot to help us through it. He expects you to do a lot of work outside of class but if you use the PPT and ask for help it's doable. He changed how many tests we were going to have because enough of us complained that wad nice too.

Funniest prof I've ever had. He's super informal and treats you like an equal- he loves to joke around with the class and he's young, so it feels like he's on your level. Very helpful but expects you to be a student and pull your weight. He's very approachable and easy to contact- he actually reads his emails! Great course. 10/10 would recommend

This was an EXCELLENT teacher. I loved his teaching skills and he makes sure you understands the material. Make sure you ask questions or at least communicate with him because if not, he will crack jokes about you the whole time. Just study the material, hes a great teacher

Somewhat difficult material, unless you've taken AP Stat. He was an excellent professor, and he truly does everything he can to help you succeed. I would take him again in a heartbeat. Piece of advice: ask good questions. I never even got the textbook; he has all of the material online.

I tred to get bumped up to a C but Will wouldn't give me any points he insisted that I earn it. He really let me have it when I asked for the bump. He pointed to opportunites he gave us throughout the semester and how I didn't take advantage of them and my absences. Im mad but he was right. He wanted me to learn from this, I respect him for that.

He teaches the material well and you can get an "A" with moderate effort. Will genuinely cares about his students' overall education, not just his subject. He would probably tell you that this class is just as much about learning statistics as it is about learning to think analytically, and making reasonable decisions based off of data.

I LOVED having Will as a teacher! He's hilarious and fun to be around. No tests, just standards that you get a ton of chance to retake. If you try to get an A, it will happen. You get what you work for.

You get the grade you work for.

Provides notes through his website. Grades received by testing on standards. These are small quizzes at least once a week. However, you have multiple opportunities to retest on these standards and improve your grade. One paper. No extra credit. Homework online. Begs for you to ask for help. He will rant. Gives helpful examples in class.

This class is not bad at all. He takes attendance, but his lectures aren't bad. He is a young grad student and is extremely accommodating if you ask him for help. There are "standards" which are mini quizzes to ace certain concepts. You have multiple attempts & they are used instead of exams. The final exam is the only big test. I would take again!
