Make sure you show up every day and pay attention he teaches very well.

Make sure your in class on time, everday. He tells you everything that's going to be on the test and will go over it with you. Very cool teacher.

Hes a great teacher. He gives us a book he put together that explains everything better than the universal book. He qives out practices tests that mirror the real tests. Be there on time. He's a good teacher but a little wierd

very helpful and always slows down if you dont understand something. takes his time out to help you. strict on attendance so show up everday. gives homework but not alot compared to other math teachers who give hwk.

If you show up and do the work (and there is alot) you will know the subject for your next course. Do the work and you'll do great in your next math course.

Very good math teacher. He often goes out of his way to help you. there is alot of homework, but if you do it, and try, you'll do fine. He's kind of anal when it comes to how problems are worked, but otherwise, great teacher.

Terrific and knowledgeable. Expects alot from his student but you will learn! Great sence of humor. Tense in the beginning of the semester but warms up after the class clears out a bit.

I wouldn't be suprised if all these students are the 1% whom achieved A's; because 99% definitely did not. Heh, good luck...

He's is the best Math teacher I ever had. You'll certainly get an A if you are up to it. He gives too much homework though.

summer class is very tough but still fun. This teacher expects a lot from his students--no doubt about it. There is a lot of homework, but it helps you on test days. His practice tests are the most important study tool of all! Too many word probs!!!!

Great teacher! Lots of work to do in this class. He explains math so well and makes it easy to understand. I highly recomend this teacher in helping to build your fundamental math skills so you can excell in the higher up classes!

There is alot of homw work, but the class is eassy if you do the home work. He gives you reviews to do and practice tests that are the actuall test,just some numbers are change alittle. so you know exactly what you need to know on the test.

I went in not expecting much, and I was blown away! Mr. Summers is an awesome teacher, and happens to have taught a previous teacher I had, and she is an excellent teacher!

Mr. Summers has got to be the best teacher i have ever had. I have never passed a math class before or even understood the subject matter. He cares so much about his styudents and he will work with u until u pass. Granted he does give alot of homerwork. For anyone who is bad at math.

Good teacher.Thorough in lectures.He assigns homework so you practice& get points for doing this.Take good notes and be on time.Will drop you points for 2 many tardies or absences.Worst test and homework grades dropped, gives practice tests before each exam.Final exam was easy.Stay on track with homework-do not fall behind and easy class to pass.

Hes very helpful when you need it, but in lectures hes reaaallly confusing, he goes all over the place with how to do a problem and u get totally lost. Takes attendance everyday, twice! assigns a ton of homework and grades EVERYTHING.. take it if u want to learn it, not if u want an easy grade

Great math teacher forget what all this other people say. I had a D through out most the semester i ended up with a B because i worked hard and asked for help. He's always around to help you. If you try hard and do the reviews you'll pass with at least a B.

professor summers has enthusiasim for teaching. he goes out of his way to help the student who need help not only for math promblems, but also helps the students who has trouble understanding english. He emphersizes important points during the lecture which helps me a lot. do the HW, get easy A. i highly recommend take the class with him.

DO NOT take Dr. Summers for the summer semester, ever!!! Yes, he is an excellent instructor, but there is easily 4-6 HOURS of homework every day. Test grading is very arbitrary. You can get no credit for not putting a box around your answer. Some students get full credit, others don't - still haven't figured that one out yet.

Summer class or short session class should be avoided at ALL COSTS! In addition to 200 to 300 weekly homework problems, they must be labled, organized by date and section, all work must be shown, and then stapled in proper order - plan on spending lots of time with worthless paper shuffle! YOU MUST BUY HIS BOOK OR YOU WILL BE LOST !!!!!!

the class is ezey peisy but he makes it 2s as ezey to undersatand hes undersatinging and willing to give slack he also sayes really randome examples i think hes a cool teacher and u should take his class

only two things you need to know about prof summers. Never ever ever ever ever take his class during the summer because you will go crazy when you see how many homework problems he makes you do.Also you have to show all of your work on every single problem. If you take his class in the fall or spring make sure it is the only class you take.

Mr summers is a great teacher. He dose expect a lot from his students, but he is very helpful if you just ask. If you want to pass his class you have to do your homework and come to class. Summers is a very good teacher and I would take his class for 253 if he was going to be here

the effort he puts into his teachings is clear and effective. the reviews for the tests are pretty much a replica of the actual thing. take him! he's pretty fair in his grading to marking off ratio.

I hated this class. Not cuz Summers is a bad teacher (In fact I think he's a great teacher), but his grading is RIDICULOUS and if you miss more than 3 class you get 1.5% deducted from ur final grade. If you miss 5 you fail. Pay attention to the notes cuz they help alot. Do the hw and you'll at least pass... even if you don't do well on the tests.

if you go on his beloved website, you wont have to take notes-all the examples are from the ones you print out. the tests are practically the EXACT copy of the reviews hich are due for hw anyways. kind of hard NOT to pass, unless you don't go to class like i did. only bad thing was grading was a little rediculous.

A great teacher. Really wants you to understand material. Goes slow and is always willing to answer questions. Really looks out for his students well being. Take him!

The first time I took his class I got a D, so I re-took it and studied how he recomended and got an A. Will Summers is a very caring and fair instructor. I recomend his classes highly.

He is a fine professor. He has a lot of experience, and can often come up with different analogies to clarify. He is extremely helpful IF you are adult enough to do your part. READ and DO the handouts, do all the homework AS INSTRUCTED for easy points, and ask questions. He is wise and courteous. Be respectful back.

Very caring, helpful and kind. But don't expect him to just pass you without earning it. Do your homework, study and pay attention in class and you'll do fine. Practice tests are much like actual tests and Final is not difficult if you study all other tests. I am horrible at math, but I worked hard and got a solid B. Reccomended.

i do not know what this person below me is talking about, they obviously did not do anything in the class and that is their own fault. summers is dedicated and he helped me numerous times during his office hours because i was struggling. summers is a super nice guy, and gives a lot of extra credit and grades fairly. take him!

Professor Summers is a solid teacher, He is really nice and has great character. THIS IS MATH REMEMBER. I am POOR at math but I show up to every class and spend about 10 + hours a week studying and so forth. If you suck like me and do this you will be FINE. I have an A. Take NOTES and make sure you do it HIS WAY!!! no work/effort = BAD GRADE.simple

i took 251 and 253 with him i wish i could take math 10 :[ best teacher, funny, and soo helpfull, office hours are one on one 2 hour tutorials with just him BEST TEACHER

Amazing teacher, I failed this class the first time I took it, this time around I got an A, do your homework and the practice tests, and you'll easily be able to ace the actual tests. He does use his own material instead of the textbook, but its SO much better! You'll want to keep your materials as reference forever!

Great professor. the first few test with extra credit, I got 100 on average. Paid attention and do your homework, don't skip classes. You're doing fine. Your homework accounts for 13% and a very good guidline for your test. Some of them are almast the same, just different number

A teacher who takes consideration of his students. Whenever he sees confused faces, he asks the class if his explanation was clear, if so, he gives examples that are very easy to follow. This class (MATH 251) helped me comprehend mathematics better and has given me the benefit of understanding other teacher's teaching methods.

This teacher is truly inspirational.He is extremely helpful when it comes to the subject of math. I always struggled through this subject, but his patience encouraged me to really study the material constantly to understand it better.

A brilliant math professor. He uses many accessible resources for teaching, in order for his students to excel. He is a wonderful listener, and very inspirational too. Math was always my weakest subject, until this class I became more disciplined in learning the material.
