He comes off as really tough at first, but after the first day is a cool teacher. He does what he can to help you in any way. I would recommend taking him

Professor Teague is probably the greatest professor I have had (and I've had quite a few good ones). He is extremely knowledgeable, and INCREDIBLY helpful. He can be quite intense at times, but its worth it to stick it out. Take him for whatever you can, and you will NOT regret it! Minimal homework, fair exams, and great class! Wish he taught more!

Take this professor for whatever classes you need--- You will not regret it. The classes are challenging in a very good way--- They make you think. Mr Teague is full of knowledge and very helpful! He is always willing to answer questions and help (personal, or about class) which is a rare but good quality!

If you think he'll let you blow this class off, you're wrong! Serious students only! He challenges you to think in new ways and use critical thinking. His background really adds to the class. An amazing role model and exellent, serious teacher. Again,I don't recommend if you want an "Easy A." But, if you want to gain real knowledge, take his class!

Excellent Professor. He will challenge you to think --- And you will learn what truly happens in this field. He is consistent and very approachable. He is very helpful on and educational and personal level. Also very understanding. However, this is NOT a blow off class. You will be challenged. If you want to learn, take him! WCC's best professor!

He is an awesome teacher.. does come off as a hard ass, but he is very soft. The only downside to him is he gets off on tangents that dont relate to the class so you have to keep him on track. He will challenge you! as long as you are in his classes, you shouldnt get less than a C. Very helpful both personally and Academically. Highly reccomended!

Had him for FSW and SOC225 this semester. He is a great instructor. Teague has awesome stories, easy tests with bunnies, no homework. Don't let the first day of class fool you. He is the nicest man ever! There are a lot of notes and if you take Group dynamics, be prepared for a HUGE group project!!

One of the best professors around... he is intelligent, kind, and very very passionate about his work. If you want to truly learn, this is the professor for you. He does NOT take excuses. His exams are very challenging... But provides good lectures, and you will truly learn and apply what you learn.

I am not sure if I put the correct section number. I took group counseling and dynamics and intro to human services. I really dont know how anyone could fail his courses unless they didnt try at all. Hes a great teacher . I learned alot.Group project was frustrating but dont get scared its very doable just do a little each week, you will be fine :)

I had Teague for family social work and intro and he was GREAT,this man has so much knowledge it crazy. He cares about his students achievement and wants everyone to do well. I am taking him for group and race and ethics this semester AWSOME GUY!

Amazing teacher. Taking him right now. He is absolutely hilarious, I've never laughed so hard in a class. Everything is straightforward, read the textbook and listen to lectures. Be active and you can't possibly fail. Only 3 exam, they're tricky, bunnies are hopping everywhere. You'll get mu bunny reference when you take his class. TAKE THE CLASS!!

Teague is a great teacher. Be warned though you must be focused, he won't make it easy. He will be there to help you though every step of the way. Teague cares about his students and has high expectations for them. If you are serious about this line of work and want a great teacher and you want to learn, this is the guy. My favorite teacher yet.

Teague should just teach every Psychology and Sociology class at WCC. If I could, I would take all my classes with him. Best teacher I have ever had at WCC.

I have taken Teague for just about ALL my HSW classes. He is rough at first but as long as you pay attention and klisten you will pass his class. Watch out for his sense of humor. He is fair, cares about the success of his students and is willing to listen and help as long as you are honest with him. and he is HOTTTTTTT! but off the market :(

He just read right off the power point and gives you loads of notes. He's so boring, but he's such an easy teacher. Be prepared for hour long presentations.

I love Teague. He is very straight to the point and gives it to you like it is. He doesn't sugar coat and really cares about his profession and it shows in everything he does. I have taken a couple of his classes and have another one starting in a couple days. I will continue to take as many classes with him as possible. I highly recommend him!!

All he does is read off of a powerpoint the ENTIRE time. The notes arent on blackboard either so you MUST go to class. i didnt like his style of teaching but others might. he is VERY straight to the point and if you pay attention, youll be fine.

Group Dynamics is HARD. It teaches you more about life and dealing with people than anything else. He will make himself available at the end of class, so take advantage of it and ask questions, don't assume!! Hardest class I've ever taken but the challenge woke me up and helped me grow. If you don't belong in this feild he will weed you out!

I have taken almost every class that Teague teaches. I love him, and he is easy just pay attention. I believe he cares for the students that care, but please believe you will not be able to pull the wool over his eyes. Be prepared to take notes there is no getting around it. I suggest an Ipad and taking pictures of the slides.

Teague is one of the best professors I have ever had. Not only is he easy on the eyes, he is someone that really enjoys teaching! But, be mindful, Teague is one to spot the bad apples of the bunch and does not tolerate laziness or excuses. If it were not for such a great teacher, I would not be as well prepared for the field of human service.

This man is a straight 10. The epitime of success, upon graduating from Queen's Commerce, Will Teague took the unconventional path to glory and is now a professor killin it.

You will feel well prepared to work in human services taking Teague's classes. He is real life with a mix of lessons. Best teacher I've ever had. Took as many of his classes I could. HSW230 is a breeze, but be ready to work hard for your grade in his other classes, take his class and actually learn instead of going for the easy A professors.

I really adore Teague. He is an outstanding teacher full of wisdom. Though he is a psychology major, his knowledge of social work is extensive. He keeps you up to date on current events affecting the field. He prepares you mentally for what this field will require of you. He's a little rough around the edges, but the greatest teacher I ever had.

Amazing Prof! Tons of real life examples, always kept us up to date on current events, encourages social activism. Helps many students through personal issues as well. ALWAYS available to answer questions. Tough class but show up and work well with your group and you will do fine!

Teague is amazing very down to earth. he does yell a lot but that is just the way he is. amazing prof and really knows his stuff.

Gives the military vibe the first day of class, not really my cup of tea- but I am GLAD I didn't switch out. He has a lot to offer. Tangents do occur, but he gets the class involved in discussion and by doing so creates a community for social work students to strive to continue to build. I will take all classes he offers while pursing my degree.

I have never had a favorite professor nor have I ever been inspired by one. Teague is just that. My favorite professor and biggest inspiration educational wise. They broke the mold when they made him. I have taken him more than once and I look forward to his class. There are a lot of notes, easy to pass tests as long as you take notes.

Teague is awesome. This was the first class I had with him and on the first day I was wondering what I had gotten myself into. As the semester went on I realized just how smart this man was. He has so much real life experience that it would be hard not to learn from him. I will definitely take more classes with him.

Took his intro to sexuality course. I would highly recommend to everyone, there is so much more to sex education than just sex, all of society ties in. A really fun course and everyone could stand to learn more about sex right?

Teague is inspiring. His love for the social work field is evident. His classes are NOT hard if you GO TO THE LECTURES and do your READINGS. the Binder project is hard mostly because it's group work. Advice: Finish it early and let him take a look at it, he has no problem letting you know what he wants added to it. Loved this teacher.

Great teacher if you don't mind his exam style. He has a very unique style of teaching. Exam's aren't very difficult but make sure you pay attention to what the questions and question numbers say! Overall, good teacher and has a lot of stories that are interesting. also DON'T YAWN! and DON'T BE LATE FOR EXAMS OR ASSIGNMENTS DUE!!!!!

If you think you want to go into social worker or psychology you need to take his class. It's so stressful, but you will know by the end of semester if you can handle this field! He's tough for the purpose of wanting students to succeed and know if this is really the field for them!!

Hes inspirational and passionate about what he does. His exams and his final projects can be difficult. Just study hard and youll be fine. He is a tough grader so make sure you do your best with the final projects.

The class was long, but if you like organization and research and working with people this class isn't bad. He goes on super long rants at the beginning of class, most of the time they are somewhat relevant to social work. Don't let his intimidation bring you down. Listen, this is the hardest class I've taken thus far between WCC and EMU both but seriously it's worth it. He will put you with people (for your group) that you will have a hard time working with and force you to figure it out. His grading is hard but fair. Make sure that you utilize his office hours and have him look at your project.

I love professor Teague he's tough but fair. Always willing to help you out as long as you put forth the effort. I had him for family, internship, Group, and currently taking treatment of addiction. If you want someone to give you the real deal and push you to be your best... he's your guy

Teague has been a great recourse on helping me achieve my academic goals and getting me on track to become a social worker. He cares about his students and tries his best to prepare them for a tough field. Everything he does has a purpose. His teaching style is different but I learned so many valuable things from his classes.

Teague is the exact opposite of what most people want in a college professor. Most people want to pass with a easy A have a easy teacher. Although Teagues classes aren't terribly difficult he teachers you what you need to know. He does not sugar coat anything because the real world is not sugar coated. I respect the hell out of Teague.

Teague is a great teacher who will challenge you in every way. He is not a bully or unfair at all. He is a really good teacher who makes sure you know the content inside and out. I will take him again because if you want to learn he will provide that. I highly recommend him unless you have medical condition where can't be scared or startled.

I did group online, he was very lenient because of the COVID situation and this class was online now. It is hard because there's only a few things you're graded on and if your group isn't very helpful and don't want to do the work than it's going to be frustrating.

Teague is a mandatory teacher. I think this is a poor decision on the College's behalf as not all students will gain from Teague's teaching style. I personally enjoyed his lectures and sense of humor, however, he can easily trail off topic. I strive on structure and a well followed syllabus, so inevitably I was frustrated a lot of times.

This was my first time with Teague, I was nervous because of the mixed feedback. However, I thoroughly enjoy how he teaches and the stories he has are relevant. I did the 6 week summer course, easy breezy. Also am taking him for HSW230. If this wasn't my last semester at WCC, would definitely take again.

Turn in the assignments and you'll be fine. Grading is done pretty easily, feedback is given when necessary, exams are straight forward. Usually just a reading, lecture, and assignment or discussion board each week. Exams are every couple of weeks. This was a great class for someone interested in psychology!

I survived Teague! Seriously the Groups class was Masters level learning. Get the text book and read it...Teague wants students to realize that the field of Social Work is not always easy. I like his style of teaching-fair yet tough. He expects you show up and ready for anything. Groups class was eye opening and wonderful.

Teague is a professor that is going to seem scary, and he does this on purpose. He will be loud, he will stop class to point out someone yawning, he will put you on the spot, but I think it works! I initially thought my group would get me through Teague, but Teague helped me get through the group. If you go to office hours, you'll be fine.

Teague is the best. I've taken him for numerous classes. His whole bit is acting like a drill sergeant on the first day of class to scare those who aren't serious about Social Work out, lol. He can be strict, and intimidating, but is genuinely such a kind and caring person. HE IS FUN! Just take notes and you will do great :) he makes it easy.

Teague's classes are engaging. He really excels in fostering group discussions. He encourages class participation by asking thought provoking questions. He is not one to mince words but is also very funny. He brings real life experience to the classroom and allots time for open discussion. I recommend taking at least one class with Teague.

I took a partial (long story) virtual class and an online class with Teague. This is a class and instructor I will forever remember. Great lectures, fantastic communication and I would definitely take more classes of his. You won't be disappointed!
