adler is so cool. yeah, we had 15 tests over the semester, but they were chapter tests-if you read the chapter, you'd do well on the tests, they're only multiple choice questions. adler is so funny, i love his jokes and his humor, and i would prefer 15 chapter tests over midterms and final exams anytime.

This teacher is truly exciting. He brings the class to life. I'm a psych major but its teachers like him that get you to want to major in psych. Not only is he hilarious but he is a phenomenal teacher and he actually cares for each individual student. Unlike most professors he goes out of his way to make sure each student is doing well.

I LOVE THIS TEACHER!!!!! he is a little strange but he is hilarious!!!! the only bad part about the class is that there is a test at the end of each week...but STILL WORTH IT!!!!

He was so funny! We had to take 15 essay tests in 5 weeks, but it was a test per chapter so it was pretty easy. He can be kind of rude, but he does not mean any harm. If you cannot take jokes, you should not take his class because he likes to pick on his students.

Dr. Adler goes over notes in class but they are not very helpfull for the tests. YOU MUST READ THE BOOK TOO! You have a test EVERY WEEK over a chapter of information. I made a B in the class and I worked my ass off to get it. If you don't like cussing and rude comments dont take him. His class is not a blow off one. Pay attention and read the book

he constantly uses foul language and is crude. but it's hilarious. he gives 1 test a week so that we don't have to cram 5 chapters per test. he's not the easiest but his class is enjoyable.

I absolutely loved taking this class with Dr. Adler. He has a wonderful sense of humor, and made it interesting. You will need to study your book, but he does go over everything in class. Pay attention, show up for class and study and you will do fine. Highly recomend!

Dr. Adler is one of the best professors ever! If you take his class you had better be prepared to work for your grade, but trust me when you get that A it is so much better since you know you have worked for it! The weekly tests drove me into the ground, but I am still here and I can say "I survived Alder!" I am even taking him again in the Spring!

5 week summer class, 3 tests a week. You MUST read your book and you MUST attend class everyday for a good grade. Dr. Adler is intelligent and opinionated. He will challenge your opinions. If you have a good reasoning, he will respect you, if not agree. Work hard and you can get a good grade. I learned lots and enjoyed him. Great teacher!

How can you resist his free demonstations of neurotic personality types? He is Freud, Jung, Erikson,May, Kelly and Maslow all rolled up into one professor! Everyone in Texas should have the experience of taking a great Jewish psyche professor and broaden their horizens! A fantasic experience in the conscious realm! Expect for 15 exams. Ouch!

I thorougly enjoyed his Life Span Psych class. I have to disagree w/the student that said the tests were impossible. The tests were not easy, but this is college and we shouldn't expect them to be. I found his "rantings" to be hilarious and looked forward to class every week. I wish he had taught more of my classes at Quad C!

He is so so funny..I always wanted to go to his class. He can be offensive or rude to some people but it was fine to me. We had to write one test per wek and they were all essay question. You should be fine if you study. I got an A in his class so i think it was a very good one..I learned a lot from that class.

Adler is a good professor to take psych with. He does rant a lot about random things, but it's entertaining to say the least. 15 exams, or one per week, but as long as you read they are not hard at all. Show up and do the work and you will pass, but you definitely can't coast in this class.

His class, while difficult and fast-paced, is incredibly rewarding. The more work you put into the class, the more lenient and helpful Dr. Adler is, which is what I enjoy most about him. He knows his stuff, and is always willing to point to towards outside information if you're interested.

Dr Adler's class isn't for wimps or people looking for an easy A. Read the book, study, and know your stuff and you'll be fine. He's extremely intelligent, funny and really does care about his students, despite what he says! Dr Adler is one of my best profs- wish I had more classes w/ him!

Professor Adler to me is a great profesor like some of the othe raters said thid class is not for whimps or whinners, i got a C+ but because it was my first class after a few years of not attending college but im planning to take it again with him because i learn a lot from him, even do he might be rude and very raw some kids need that.

Overall, he is a pretty fun guy. He is rude at times and has a crude sense of humor. Instead of having midterm tests he has a chapter test each week which is good if you have a bad test and need a few others to boost your grade. however, it is a lot to keep up with every week. beside the tests, there are a few internet assignments. i'd tak him over

His lectures are interesting and he is hilarious. He is demanding too. He gives test every week. There are 4 essays. Not hare, only 2 pages required. He is the most wackiste professor I've ever seen.

I just completed my second of Dr. Adler's courses. He is a GREAT professor! He may get distracted in class and discuss irrelevant things but at least he keeps the class interesting! You definitely need to study but he is always there when you need to talk about anything. I love his courses and plan on taking a third!

i took his summer class, so there were 3 test a week and a paper due once a week. so in the regard it was a hard class... and you do have to read the book. But he is a great teacher and i enjoyed everyday in the class!

For fall, 4 internet assignments (should be easy), and FIFTEEN EXAMS+Final ... once a week. LOTS of reading. He lectures over the basic concepts, digresses towards football, his old days, and pretty much you MUST READ because there are also many hidden stuff he DOESNT cover!! Exams 50 MC questions a,b,c,d...and tests are taken in testing center.

Mr. Adler is a GREAT psychology teacher, and he is really passionate about what he teaches. He comes off as a hard ass, but he will help you out with anything you ask of him. His tests are difficult, however, if you re-read the textbook over what he discussed in class you will have no problem. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!

If you read the book, you will do just fine. He tells you what he plans on covering on the exam which is more than fair. He is a very vocal conservative, and yes he gets on tangents about many controversial topics. Some people are offended by this, but I believe the more mature people will allow it to roll off their backs. Good Prof.

Great Professor! He's helpful if you REALLY try. Gives MANY opportunities for easy grades. READ the book = pass the test. He tells you what is on the tests, tests are in testing center. Be on time for classes and tests deadlines! He doesn't pick on people to be mean, he's interactive. If you rant, it's because you failed... on your own.

Great professor!All tests are multiple choice. The subject is not easy. To get a passing grade you have to read the book. Dr. Adler has a great sense of humor so he makes the class very fun.Highly recommend taking this class with him.

Attendance isnt mandatory but seems to affect your grade. Multiple internet assignments, papers, I completed them all w/good pts and still got a D. Class is on point system.

Awesome prof. He can be kind of sarcasitic...But he is hilarious. Speak up in class and he will def like you. I missed lots of class but I spoke up and he gave me an A. His papers were so easy. Tests are kind of difficult, use the student help site...the tests are basically the same as the practices exams.

Dr. Adler is an awesome professor. He has excellent sense of humor and his classes are very entertaining.He is not an easy teacher because the subject is hard.People who do not like him must be unable to learn. He is very clear and all his exams come from his outlines.He never puts any suprise or tricky questions on his exams.

Anyone who says Adler is hard is just lazy. The questions on his tests are comprehensive, but all come directly from the book. If you read the chapters you will have no problem making an A. There are just four homework assignments and he gives everyone all the points just for doing it. You don't even need to go to class to get an A.

Dr. Adler seemed pretty crazy the first day, but once you get to know him he's fun and very nice. As others have said, he does talk a LOT in class! Makes it very easy to get good grades as long as you read the book and pay attention. I had no background in Psychology and made A's all the way through. Good teacher - I definitely recommend him!

Good teacher and cares what he is teaching. You will pass if you read the chapters, listen in class, and turn in all of the assignments. You do have to study a little more if you want to make an A. Teacher made class exciting and isn't afraid to say anything. Easy to talk to and get along with. Recommended.

he can be harsh, but really he just says what everyone else is thinking. you have to show up to class, other wise forget it. just listen to his lecutres and use the study guids and study. he goes over the tests practically in class lecutres. i never opened my book once, it was a waist of money to buy.

Very entertaining. Homework and tests seem overwhelming initially but really are not that bad. The hw is more about seeing you have a general understanding of the subject matter and don't take as much work as it may seem. Tests become more predictable as you figure him out. My concern is how little direction is givin to the class...

Dr. Adler is very passionate about Psychology. He does not like students who consistently miss class or do not do their work. YOU MUST BUY THE BOOK or else the class is impossible! All exams are taken online at your convenience... very helpful. Makes Psychology extremely interesting!

I loved Dr. Adler's Psych class. He kept what could have been a very bland intro class fairly entertaining. Very sarcastic sense of humor, but I didn't mind. Make sure you attend class regularly as he randomly takes attendance & read the chapters you'll be fine. All exams are online so you can take them on your own time. EASY A!

Not your typical old fart. he makes his class enjoyable although, you NEED to buy a book brand new for the class because without everything that comes with the book it will be impossible to make a good grade in the class.He gives essays that if you turn in you'll get an A on. Quizes are all online so they are super easy. But as for the professor himself, he is a real jerk. I had a family member get deathly ill while I had class with him and he just said that he was sorry but if I missed class, he would have to deduct a letter grade. Well, I had to miss class and guess what... he gave me a B for the class.

Great teacher, great sense of humor but don't be late to class, he'll call you out. He almost got me thinking about changing my major. He is truly a gem and a remarkable teacher for a community college. He brings lots of practical knowledge about psychology since it's what he's done all his life. His biggest problem? He's an Eagles fan.

Pretty easy class, all tests are online. I never used the book, just went off notes I took in class. He seems to miss over some information for questions that is on the tests. His jokes are funny, and he loves to call out on people. Class never really started until 15 minutes after it was supposed to and ended 10-15 minutes early. Easy class.

Adler is awesome. Textbook is required, but not for class, only for independent reading which YOU MUST DO! My only complaint is that he ALWAYS reopens online tests for the ones who never complete their assignments. Good to know you can count on, but seems unfair to those who do their work. Overall, awesome and EASY ... and BTW ... he LOVES cookies!

Proffessor Addler is a great teacher. He genuinely cares about your grade. He will explain things if you are not sure.

I really love Professor Adler. He is very interesting and funny! Don't miss more than 5 to 6 classes or he WILL fail you. There is a online test each week over the notes (and everything is in the textbook). If you do the work, you'll do fine! Don't be late though, he tends to call people out on that! Adlers class is easy IF you just show up to class! Missing multiple classes will fail you. otherwise weekly online exams are easy. all answers are on google. I never opened my textbook so dont waste your money. he is funny and keeps you awake. dismisses class about 45 minutes early. I highly reccomend him for psyc!

Professor Adler is very funny and makes his class interesting. All tests are online and the essays are basically completion grades. It's very easy to do well in this class. If you need to take this course I highly recommend Adler.

This was my favorite class at Collin so far. He is very funny so it made the lectures easy to pay attention to. Attendance isn't mandatory but I liked going just to hear his lectures. Adler was a great, funny professor. He has some great stories to share! Sadly, the weekly exams were tiresome. It's tough to get by without a textbook in this class, and we were told that we didn't "need" it. It's possible to pass without it, though.

If you can't handle dry humor with a sarcastic attitude don't bother taking this class. It was by far my favorite class. Took him for both gen psych and life span. Show up to class, study the book, and do your exams and you'll pass easily. His class truly is a cake walk. Favorite professor yet.

Honestly, Adler was a great psychology teacher!! He did seem to go off topic alot of times and he makes pointless jokes or "dry humor," but this class was an easy A+. He tells you not to buy the text book but I definitely WOULD!! He never gave homework and rarely assignments! I recommend him

He is very fun and has a great sense of humor, interacts with the class room. The majority of the assignments are online! You can use your textbook and its a easy A. He has 4 internet assignments that are simple. He gives you hand outs and in class you go over them. I would recommend him for core class people!

Psychology was my absolute favorite class this semester because of Prof. Adler! He did an excellent job in covering the topics and I've truly learned a lot more than ever expected. Each week there is an online exam with 50 questions. They are difficult but just take notes in class! There is also 4 internet assignments which are short papers, easy!
