This guy’s only concern is that the whole class is informed on business ethics. He grades harshly on every little grammar mistake. Stay away from him if you can.
this guy developed an extreme hate for everyone in the class because no one knew who Frank Zappa is. Get out unless you want an inevitable "C"
most Negative Man I have met in my entire life. 3 grammar errors on any assignment is an F. Not helpful out of class. Horrid Lectures. Avoid this guy like the plague he is. He even hates day light saving time!
I managed a B in his class, but that's working my 4.0 ass off, he gave me half credit on an assignment I turned in on time, because of a slight problem with parenthetical citation. He's really strict and boring
Okay, this guy is a BUTTHEAD. I went into his class with conifidence as a mature writer, and he hated me for that. He expects students to fawn over his emaculate knowledge of the MLA format, but I say that he is just a closeminded perfectionist.
Not an easy class but the man is fair. Just do your notecards and turn in essays and you'll be fine. Let's you out of class very early. I enjoyed him and reccomend him.
He's hideously strict, completely unhelpful in and outside of class, has a generally unpleasant personality, and I learned absolutely nothing from him. He obviously hates being there and wants you to hate it, too. Stay away if you can.
This class was a challenge as I have always pulled a's in English.... I got a B. If you do the notecards, the reading and use his office hours you can most certainly find him to be helpful.
This guy is a total jerk. He sets a absolutley miserable tone from the first day of class and just gets even more negitive from there. He hates television too. That's not really important, but he likes to make that clear.

Very unique teacher. MLA fanatic!! papers must be written that way. Has extra credit if you show up to class all the time. He takes roll sometimes at the end of class. Ended up getting a B grade with extra credit.
Do not care for this teacher. He expects alot and do not like his selection of books. I would not reccomend him. Heard **** comments made by him.
I thought his reading 92 class would be an easy A. Boy did I think wrong. I ended up getting a C. I learned a lot from his class but he is a strict grader when it comes to writing. He was nice at the beginning of the semester but then got to be cranky toward the end.
The only things I learned was the MLA style sheet and how much he hates about everything, including his job. DON'T TAKE THIS GUY! He gets paid for a job he hates.

He is the worst teacher ever. Beware. If he doesn't know who you are in the class, he'll mark you absent. If you don't write the papers on his opinion or if he can argue a controversial issue then he fails you. Stay away from him.

This guy would make you write the paper, then make you re-write the paper and tell you on the graded paper to have what you put on the paper in the 1st place. He sucks as a teacher and I dropped him class. I have a much better teacher now, alothough she is really hard, but not an ass like this guy.

THE WORST ENGLISH I have ever had!!! Plus he is **** against women. Horrible teacher and person in general-he hates life and talks**** on fat people all day everyday. Learned nothing from his class, went all the time turned in everything and always got poor grades on papers. also the topics he chooses are bad.
I used to think I sucked at english but I got an A in his 1A class and a B in his 1D class.He forces you to think.He addresses important issues like obesity,euthanasia,ethics,and such.He'll teach you to find main ideas of essays.If you want to learn then take this class.If you are looking for an easy A then you will have your work cut out for you.

Best intructor I could have asked for relative to honing my writing skills.
His GOLDEN rules: 1. NO BOOKS, NO CLASS 2. TURN OFF CELL PHONE (even if its on vibrate) OR GET OUT 3. NO WRITING ON BACK OF PAPER.

he's an okay teacher. not that bad. he'll work you until you understand the material but he's very boring!! talks like a robot with no face expression. i never really looked forward in showing up to class because it was sooo boring!! but it was pretty much easy because he'll give you one on one help
Mr. A is his nickname because it is difficult to pronounce his last name. He was not a hard teacher @ all, but he was very straight-forward. He would say, "The grade you get in this class is what you deserved..."We started with 30 people and finished the semester with 9. If you want a teacher that will give you a grade you deserve, take him!

he was pretty good. i had him tth 7-930 last semester and the latest we would get out would be like 815. easy. just show up. pretty clear, concise lectures. sounds like ben stein but is kinda funny. almost no homework. his rules: 1. no book , no class 2. cellphones OFF 3. dont write on back of paper 4. pwn only. EASY A. bit dull but i recommend it.
He was the worst. he gives no homework at all and grades you only on tests, no homework, no class work. I mean this guy gave no work at all. he expected u to just learn a butt load of big science words and put them on paper with never giving us any class nor home work. he's a useless teacher whom shouldn't be teaching.
The class was fine and easy but he was so boring. I had him 7-930 last semester. He was never enthusiastic which made the class seem even longer. Want my advice? Take the assessment test over or take a different teacher.

Honestly, i don't think he is all that bad. When it comes to reading books, he has a little sense of humor time to time. He makes learning interesting for health science because i have reading 91B and that is based on health science. Even though he might be boring at times, i think he is no different than every other professor.
ull hate him at first i had an f the whole semester took the mastery essay an passed with a B just do ur work and ull be fine bookwork just about everyday in the beginning and then a weekly essay after that really not that hard tho once i look back on it
This teacher was by far the worst teacher I have ever had. I have stories that can get this guy fired in a heartbeat. He humilated me in front of the entire class, and asked me if I was doing drugs because I made no sense. Not only is he extremely mean, he is EXTREMELY boring. Do not take this teacher.

This professor isn't so bad. Just a lot of writing that you have to do. If you love to write, I'm sure you'll pass. I recommend this professor if you love to write or want to become a writer someday. :D

Very Monotone, old, and boring. He is a VERY tough grader for such a low level class. He teaches good and knows his stuff, but he likes to talk in circles to waist class time when he could be letting us out early. Advice: Don't take him unless you have to.

He is a strict teacher! I don't think I want to take a class with him as my professor again! I've heard lots of things about him lately! When I had him as my instructor, he sounded like he was always bored! He liked to humiliate some people in class sometimes. I remember he made this one guy in my class answer something in front of everyone.

Strict.. Cant go in the class without ready to read or do work.. only problem i really had was he never fully explained what exactly was wrong with my essays..BUT i did get a B in his class and his toughness did perpare me for the test!
He's a horrible teacher, do not take this class. He's sooo boring. He likes to talk more then showing you how to do it. All he does is lecture and let you do work off the book. No talking what so ever.
This guy gave the same grade to everyone on all of the essays! 15/30, we each got one 18/30 once! He's a horrible, boring teacher that'll talk FOREVER! He doesnt really prepare you for the mastery essay either. He just tells you what your doing wrong instead of helping you how to fix it. AVOID TAKING THIS CLAS! Oh and no book=you cant come to class

ON THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS DR. A CITED ONE OF ALBERT EINSTEIN’S QUOTES; “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” I took it to heart. I had his class this summer from 7am-10:30. My first impression was that it was going to be a very boring class. I was wrong. He is a hard professor, but a very good one.
Avoid taking his class! Its a must have textbook class. No textbook, no class for you. He don't even help with the essays etc.

Do not take this teacher, he is very boring and rambles on and on about nothing you need to know. Does not help you out on fixing your essays and I'm pretty sure he is not even reading the essays by his side comments. If you want to struggle take his class, but if you want to learn something invest on another teacher.

Incredibly boring, opinionated on things that are not classroom talk. Played Guitar in class on multiple occasions as extra credit. Not helpful at all with lessons, homework or classwork.
Do not take this class, even if its your last resort. The man is confusing, rambles on. He tells you how to do things and when you apply his teachings, he marks you wrong. Very contradicting. He dont help you with nothing and he is very phylosophical about the subject.
If this is the same Agopsowicz I had at UW-Superior approximately 42 years ago, I would say he will teach you things that will stay with you for a lifetime. The study of Hemingway and "The Code" has influenced me my whole life.
Dr.A is a tough teacher but a good teacher. He will take time to help you with corrections but will also make u feel stupid if u don't try. Overall I would say he is a good teacher and I wish he taught eng 1a

He is tough but if i hadn't taken his class i wouldn't have understood grammar and passed the mastery the following year. I might have failed his classed , i learned a lot from him if you decide to work one- on- one with him.
I took Prof A's summer course. He's a great teacher, learned a lot from him in a short span of time. He really helped me understand MLA format. He talks a lot, sometimes about irrelevant things and he can be very picky when grading. The class of completely doable if you really want to pass. He's also always willing to help if you ask for it.
The content of the class was as expected, I knew what I was getting in to; however, the lack of assignments made and turned in made the final all the more stressful as I didnt know my grade until minutes before the final. If you read the material before class, then the lecture is easier to get through.
Dr. A is such a knowledgeable professor and I am glad to have taken this class with him. He knows what he is talking about, but he can be long-winded. He grades kind of tough but there aren't that many assignments anyway. He's a great professor and if you want to get the most out of helping yourself become a good reader and writer, take his class.
This was a very easy class as far as homework and assignments go, but it was one of the worst English classes I have ever taken. The professor rambles on for the entire class, tells students their opinions are wrong, and does not give clear instructions or grading criteria. We only had one paper, which was a group assignment. Very, very boring too.

The professor is so boring when giving lectures, doesnt do PowerPoint nor writes on the board for notes. He tells you to do something then tells you its wrong. Hard to understand.
Not only the worst English teacher but worst professor Ive ever had. He will try to embarrass his students in front of the class. The work is easy until he grades it. VERY unclear instructions. When you ask for help, he will be hypocritical in his grading from what hes initially said. Dont take even if its your last choice!!Extremely monotone
Make sure that your paper formatting is identical the academic standard. Black ink only for written papers, typed for all others. Means well, and will make sure that you are prepared for future English classes. Be adequately prepared!
The MOST confusing professor I have ever had. He'll call you out on your mistakes in front of the class along with reading parts of your essay that he didn't like in front of everyone. I had to rewrite my paper 3 times because there was always something wrong with it and as soon as i would fix it he'd still end up marking it as wrong.
Dr. A knows what he is teaching I'll give him that, but his lectures are VERY boring. He criticizes his students, and his grading sucks. I don't recommend him at all. Although I did pass the class I really struggled with this class and staying awake as well.
Lets just say we started with a full class and now theres only about 7 of us .This professor seems to enjoy embarrassing his students . He will tell you your mistakes in front of the whole class. He is unclear on how you can fix your mistakes.
Is his class deathly boring? Yes absolutely. But did we only do 3ish assignments all semester? Yes we did. And I dont know about you but I like easy. Plus he let me fix a paper I screwed up on and was going to get a zero on. So I passed.
