Oh GOD, what can i say about Albanos. Easy A. lazy teacher, take home tests, no quizes, no homework, i showed up to the class 4 times, the whole quater and got an A. I love Mr. Albanos, if you are lazy, take this teacher.

if you're taking this class as a prereq (med, pharm...etc) and not a business major, take his class, sure to give your gpa a boost. take home everythings, no homework, definitely an easy A. highly recommended for nonbusiness majors(you wont learn much if you're a business major)

this guy is prejudice about indians and pakistanis.if u r desi,do not sign up with him.he looks at your desi name and keeps your paper aside.Although I got an A in his class I do not recommend him.trust me I had a hard time convincing him that I did not cheat from previous students,but who cares now.I have earned my A.

i took his class in summer, he taught me how to think, how to understand the big picture of the economy, and i tried my best to do the final presentation as a final exam, he is a very nice guy, talk to him after the class, u may know more about him. Almost all of my fds got an "A" in his class, wonderful, they are so happy!

Mr.Albanos is very nice. He might not be the most exciting teacher, but is easygoing. Not much work in class, just 4 tests and a major project at the end of semester.

He is the Best Economics Teacher at COD. I learned alot of basics in his class. He is very calm, nice and understanding. He treat everyone same and very easy to talk.Very interserting class. really nice, understanding teacher. its an easy A if you have good attendance. just dont have an argument with him, be on his good side. take notes in his class ( he likes that). i got C's and D's on the test but got an A in the class

this man was a good teacher always helped us out and was always kind to his students....he realized that his students had a life outside of class and would be leniant if you showed interest and showerd up to class....just show up to class participate and you'll easily getta A hang around with smart people to trust me :-) haha

I have had Mr. Albanos all year, and I gotta say he is one of the best teachers COD has to offer. He is willing to work with the students, and guide you instead of just handing out an assignment with no instrustions. Show up everyday and participate in the class discussions and u should do fine.

He is very smart and helpful. Knows a lot about the subject and holds many discussions on surrent events. Just make sure you show up to class and do your work, and you will be fine!

You can tell by the number of negative comments to the good ones that the negative ones are from ignorant people. Econ is a form of business, and if you know anything about business you know it can not be taught at any level to anyone. Dr. Albanos understands this and teaches by forcing us to learn on our own.

Hello, Mr.Albanos is one of the best professors i have ever had. He is willing to help you out anytime. I must say that He knows every single topic in book. He doesnt just read book or notes like other teachers. But he still covers all points and relates with current news..make sure to show up in his class and do your work..Definately "A"..have fun

He is good if you are willing to work with him. He is understanding & very caring. Just do your work & there is no reason for you not to get a good grade. I'd definetly recommend him!!

u cant help but like this professor. the class requires work but he's fair at grading. i took an econ class before and got a D but i retook it wit Albonos and got an A!

he is a must take teacher... quick take him in the summer cause his not teaching in fall....easy A teacher... attendance is required....thats all, really...

MUST TAKE HIM. He is a very nice teacher and extremly helpful. Take good notes in class will help you with your tests. All tests are take home!! They are kind of time consuming but he grades accordingly. Attendance is required but class isn't so bad. Big final project due at end of semester.

This professor is very easy if you just pay attention. He is extremely helpful. You will be surprised as to how far he will go to help you. His clarity is crystal and very comprehensible. I wasn't so interested in economics until I took this class. Now it's my life. This instructor is still teaching and is kind of cute too. ;-)

A great teacher overall & knows what he is talking about. Laid back and easy going. The articles are current articles you choose that relate to class material and you describe them to the class. The group presentation is kind of tough but that's all you really work on and the exams. Take detailed notes and you'll be fine. Great teacher! Take him!!!

Easy class! Tests are easy since all are take home. You also do article presentations where you find article related to business and summarize to class. finally you do a group project and get whole semester to do. then you present to class. that is your final exam right there. Loved this class with professor albanos.

Great Professor! Really knows what he is talking about and shares great stories connecting to the material. He's a funny likable guy and tells it like it is. I learned a lot from this man and now understand many of the important issues being talked about on the news. Pay attention because he has a lot of great useful information to share.

Mr. Albanos was a very good teacher. He not only has experience to bring to the classroom, but also real life examples that really help portray the meaning of some economic philosophies. Overall, he really makes you work for your grade, but the class is do able and very beneficial since all the work you do is real world applicable.

Albanos is a great professor. Really knows his stuff and makes sure you will too. Don't take this class for a walk in the park because its a lot of hard work. His style of testing is very effective and shows what you've learned opposed to those crappy standardized tests schools think are effective. If you do ur best and care an A should be possible

Great professor! His exams are difficult, but they are take home. He gives you weeks in advance and each exam shouldn't take more than a couple hours. As long as you do the speech, finish the exams on time, and show up to class you can get an A

Very intelligent and gives real world examples. He explains the material from the book. The tests are take home and provide another opportunity to apply the information. They take several hours to complete, but we were given three weeks to complete it. In class, we had to present articles about economics in the news. Each only takes a minute or so.

Took him for micro. Knows A LOT about the subject. His lectures were pretty easy as he gives opportunity to ask questions and makes sure you know what he's talking about. Show up, take notes, do the tests on time (3 take home each take a couple hours), and we also did group presentation. All in all, I really enjoyed him as a teacher.

Mr. Albanos is the best microecon teacher bc he knows what he's talking about and applies all that stuff to your everyday lives so that you can understand. The tests are take home and he's extremely helpful if you ask for help. I would highly recommend taking him.

Great teacher, explains in detail, and helpful. You take 3 take home exams, do 3 individual small presentation on current articles (extremely helpful, makes you learn on what is going on currently and applying it to it) and finally a group presentation. He is very knowledgeable and knows what he is talking about. Take him! you wont regret it.

Great Professor with a lot of knowledge! Professor Albanos teaches you a lot about how our real world events are shaped or affected by economics. He breaks down complex ideas for us to understand. There are 4 required article presentations, a project, and three take home exams. Overall, I learned a lot and really enjoyed coming to class!

After attending the first couple of days we were told we had to write a group paper that is 40-80 pages long. I was going to drop the class but decided to stay and it really is doable. Every 2 weeks you have to show him an updated version which really helps. He is a very knowledgeable professor and I enjoyed taking his class.

This is a really boring professor. He clearly states his view points which will bother some of the students. Take home tests but there only like 30% of the grade. Its an easy class. He wants you to read the book.

Mr Albanos uses his real life examples to help understand each topic. He is 1 of the best teachers I have taken. Everyone looks for a easy teacher. He's not easy, he teaches clearly through examples that u understand and are able to recognize the economics that go on in the world. This class will allow you to make better future money decisions.

This class was great the material and teaching method used was very helpful. Great teacher and great real life examples the class is not easy you have one big group project and 3 test. Great teacher must take him you will enjoy the class!

Very easy class if you follow the guidelines given to you. There are 3 take home tests, and one huge project. The project seems hard when you first hear about it but it's really not. He has a "show me day" every other week to see your progression in the project. DO IT, other whys you WILL get a 0. Great teacher with real life experiences!

I took both my ECON courses with him. He makes it more helpful and doable than other Econ classes. You will definitely learn something in this class! He has a great teaching style. Recomemended!
