SUPER EASY CLASS!!! I never attended the lectures, and I got 90's on every exam. Quizzes are online... Sona credits are a surefire way to guarantee you pass. If you do go to class, you get to experience Berry's entertaining lectures. He's very amusing, and he loves Family Guy. Take him, take him!

if you are a psych major you NEED to take a class with him. he is AMAZING. his class is very laid back and hes quite funny. tests are easy if you attend class and essays are easy too. take him!

This dude does not take attendance so I never showed up and I got D's on the tests but still got an A. Just do the extra credit and do amazing on the quizzes, which are online, and you should pass too.

Great teacher! Very interesting & entertaining. The material is explained perfectly. Exams are straight from the powerpoint slides with a few textbook questions (the textbook us not required). Attendance is not mandatory but if your name is called you will get points deducted (attendance is taken randomly & not everyone is called). TAKE HIM!

I loved this professor he is funny and loves what hes doing. the test are simple he gives a review saying exactly what is on the test. the test is mainly from the power point slides and some videos he shows and sometimes also from the textbook. and then you also have to do some really easy sona's i definitely recommend this class.

A really easy class, Prof Berry gives grades for discussion, one essay paper about yourself, and the tests. Go to class and he will give you the test questions, use the textbook to find the answers and they will be on the test. Easy A!

This was the best class ive taken. i freaking loved it. I took it at the bbc campus and it took a 5 hour chunk out of my day for 1hr 15min but i always went. he is really knowledgeable about the subject and he makes it really easy to understand. he is a really funny guy too. the discussions were always fun too. i would def recommend this class

Most of the time he didn't know the answer to students' questions. He has a smart mouth and likes to embarrass students. He can be difficult to work with at times. However, he does make the class interesting. Tests(3) are fairly easy and 1 paper.

His class is awesome! I enjoyed every minute. Do all the quizzes EC and read and you will for sure get an "A" he drops the lowest test score. The only reason I got an A- is because I never did any of the quizzes

I took this class for summer B freshman year and its not that bad. he reviews for tests before lecturing. quizzes are online & you get 2 tries, which he picks the highest grade. Tests are only 50 questions. Really funny & enjoyable class. I recommend :)

This is by far one of the best professors I have had at FIU. He knows what he is teaching and makes the class so that the students learn about psychology and helps you. If you are a psych major, take him and you won't regret it.

Haven't finished his class yet but it's one of my favourites. He's friggin hilarious and great at teaching; uses PPs as guidelines but also likes discussions (after which hilarity ensues). It's not explicitly mandatory to attend but some of the test material comes from the class and he'll call out random names when the room looks too empty.

Great, easy professor! Needed another psych credit and took him for Sub Abuse & The Family. He made it interesting, and for his reviews he reads the test questions straight from the test! Easily passable with an A, IF you participate. There's a LOT of role play, but it's fun:) and don't miss any classes because it counts!

This is an easy class, there are 4 or 5 tests and he drops the lowest one. There are about 4 easy online discussions and he offers extra credit. Attendance is somewhat mandatory, he randomly calls out people's names and adds/subtracts points. Do the reviews and you're guaranteed and A in the class. Attendance is "mandatory" but I missed a few classes and still ended up with an A. There are 3 tests and a 300 word reflection paper. His reviews consist of him reading the test questions out loud and you can look them up in the powerpoints. Super funny, great person, fun class.

Took class online, it's not a hard class but you do need to put in the effort to study for exams (via power points) because they suck with timing. Online classes don't get a review nor a study guide so it's every man for themselves. Don't even bother buying the books, everything you'll need is on the power points.

Pretty cool professor. The class is basically discussion based, with topics varying from mindfulness to our purpose in life. Exams are easy as long as you complete the reviews using the textbook. Professor Berry is a cool dude, extra credit is a problem if you attend night school like I did, most of the extra credit is attending seminars provided by FIU that take part during the day. 3 exams, easy as long as you go to class and pay attention. read the book as well. He is fun, knowledgeable and inspirational. Participate in the discussion online, at least 3 times a week and on different days, so you can assure the 30% of the grade. listen to student presentations, they will be on the tests as well. Test are pretty tough, studied extensively and couldn't get anything higher than 80. 3test, one blog for 3 weeks which is an easy A if you write something everyday. This is the second class I've taken with him and I do not regret it! I hope to take another class or two with him before graduating. He is very clear. Three exams and the final. One short paper based on an AA meeting. He takes attendance randomly and there is a participation grade. Just do what you are expected and you'll pass.

The homework he gives is cake, you get three exams just be sure to study the reviews he says outloud in class in order to pass the exams. he actually makes it a pretty interesting and funny class. you also need to participate in SONA experiments but theyre also cake. you also need to buy an iclicker.

Fast paced course since it's summer. 20% of grade is based on whether or not you participate once throughout the course. 4 exams and he mostly tells you what will be on exam as he is lecturing from the pp. There is random roll call. Absolutely amazing. Inspiring, knowledgeable, hilarious, and very passionate. Even if you don't love Psychology I can guarantee you will learn something from him.

Berry is a probably one of the best psychology professors at FIU. He keeps the class engaged. He takes attendance by calling on someone and having them call on a number assigned to a student and if that person is absent, they get 2 points off their course grade deducted. Exams are tough, you need to know everything on the ppts. Gives reviews.

He really loves what he teaches which is admirable and it shows. Keeps class interesting and as long as you show up, participate, and do the short readings you will pass. There is one paper due at the end of the semester but it is not difficult and you have multiple opportunities and topics to choose from. I plan on taking him again.

Entertaining class, quite a bit of hw but it's not hard. Amazing textbook.

This is by far the best online class I took. Just do as he says for each assignment and it's literally impossible to fail. He's really funny and makes the class interesting. I learned a lot from this class. I would say the textbook is mandatory since you need it for his tests.

He is so inspiring. 4 tests, pay attention in class and study and you will get an A. Do not miss class because attendance is mandatory. 1 paper that is VERY simple and is a reflection paper on an attended AA meeting. Learned so much and I will be taking him again next semester

He is sexy and smart so take him because it is easy to watch him and concentrate. tests aren't hard if you understand the slides. Topic is interesting and he makes it fun.

Berry is probably the greatest gem FIU has to offer. In the fall ill be taking my 3rd class with him. Berry is extremely knowledge he even writes for psychology today. Because of berry im apply to fiu's Rehabilitation Masters Program. Class is well structured you must participate and show up but berry's so great that you'll want to go to class.

Any bad rating for this man does not make sense. He is the most straight foward professor and he is extremely reasonable plus his sarcastic humor helps you memorize certain material for the tests. The Class its self is that easy nor that hard but he helps you through it perfectly considering he's an actual professional in Drug Psychology.

Prof. Berry is a riot and I love every single minute of his class. Attendance is not mandatory although he likes to switch up the game and call attendance randomly. He provides study guides in class on what you're being tested on and the assignments are online and super easy. If you do all the assignments and study for the exams, you'll survive.

Take Professor Berry! Hes halarious &amp; has a unique way of teaching. All you need is to study the PowerPoints that he provides &amp; youll get an A. Gives reviews for the test but he doesnt say when hell give it so you have to go to class. He gives EC for speaking in class. Make sure you do all the Connect assignments! Berry is very relatable and funny. He feels like a friend teaching a class, BUT his tests are hard. Go to class, get the textbook and actually do the reading, and you'll be fine. No homework, just 4 tests and a final. He's very helpful too. Recommended.

Anyone who's taken a class with Prof Berry wants to take another class with Prof Berry. This is my second class with him. SUPER EASY. And normally, I don't prefer &quot;easy A&quot; courses, but he's so insightful, I feel like I got a lot out of a class that I did almost no work for. You do have to buy the book, but I found a used copy online for under $10.

The best there is at FIU. If you're a psych major you MUST take a class with him. He is smart, knowledgeable, hilarious, and EXTREMELY HOT! Coming to class was easy. He makes this subject so interesting! Tests are a bit hard but fair! Study his reviews and you'll do good.

He's one of the best professor's I've had. He is very sarcastic and witty so if your feelings are hurt easily you might not like his personality but I thought he was hilarious. His lectures were always interesting and his class was one of the classes I actually enjoyed going to this semester.

This class is almost entirely discussion-based. The class discussions (and test material) is all from the short passages you have to read throughout the semester, so absolutely buy the book. 3 exams and 40 points of participation (5 for each time you speak). Easy A if you show up to class and read.

Love this professor. He is hilarious and you wont fall asleep during lectures. He gives you clear reviews for test which help a lot. About 90% of the test comes from power points so you barely need the book. Definitely recommend attending lectures.

This was an online course, so I appreciate the fact that he gets back to you quickly if you have any questions. You need to participate in the discussions, have 3 exams, and 1 reflection paper.

Professor Berry is a wonderful teacher, he really knows what he's talking about so I would advise you watch his videos. Pretty simple class structure, must do a discussion and reply to at least 2 ppl, a video blog every 2 modules, and 3 tests. He also has review sessions which he gives extra credit so there's no way to fail the class!

EASY A! you just need to get ready to talk because 40% of your grade is based on participation and your insight on the reading. 3 tests SUPER EASY and 1 essay which he lets you choose which one to do. this is a great class for self-reflection.

I liked his course. Great material and I enjoyed the mandatory attendance of 12-step program. There are times he makes snarky comments. His group project is not meant for groups but for individual completion which is why he may not receive the results he wants. My group actually discussed this before we turn it in. LOL overall the class is nice.

The class was my favorite class in the whole semester and he does a good job at teaching it. It is based mostly on participation, 3 tests, and 1 paper. The class teaches you alot about personal growth, which is something that will stick with you your whole life. Attendance is mandatory because it does it randomly and can take away points.

Professor Berry is great! Very easy class basically no assignments just one paper that is fewer than 800 words. Very insightful class you really learn a lot that you can actually benefit from. Attendance is mandatory but he does not take role everyday. He is funny and caring. Super easy and fun class!

He is straighforward,clearly states what to expect from the exams (4 in total, no cumulative).You have to show up to his class becuase there are somethings that he will mention that will not be in the textbook but will be on the exam. Professor Berry is great! For this course in specific he goes based off of the author's text which was not my favorite but the class was still easy. He is also very funny and does not give hard work. I recommend.

He is a mental health counselor and is very knowledgeable and the best part is that he mentions experiences hes had with several clients and different disorders. Phenomenal!

I took him for Summer A remote. 10/10 recommend. 4 quizzes (open notes), 1 paper (only 2 pages), cumulative final exam, attendance/participation (dont skip), &amp; extra credit is available. If you didn't pass his class, you just didn't try. Some were able to get by without the textbook but i found it helpful

William Berry is a solid professor. I loved his Psych of Dreams class while taking it in Summer B. The class consists of lectures with no homework, 1 midterm, 1 paper (around 2 pages), and a final. I definitely recommend this class because he only gives information that can appear on the exams, and he is definitely a funny guy with great stories.

I loveeeee this professor he is so inspiring in many aspects and you an really learn because he always tries to includes stories with whatever we are going over. Took him remote and he was very clear with the grading and what will be on the exam. Honestly the class is content heavy but it is so interesting that the material comes easy.

He's a cool guy and his lectures are pretty funny and interesting. he will get a little petty at times if your camera isn't on during zoom. the class grade consists of class participation and exams only. he does offer extra credit. the class is honestly very doable and easy.

The lectures are completely discussion based and participation is a big part of your grade so if you don't like speaking in class, he is not for you. Unfortunately, the material is kind of tricky and you won't learn any of it in class. Quizzes and final are based on the readings so you have to stay up to date and study. Professor Berry is a must take. His lectures are very interesting, as he relates it to his own experience in the field. He wants everyone to pass, but you need to go to class. You have to talk a certain amount of times in discussions to get your participation grade for the semester. Be sure to read and study and it is an easy pass.

I really like professor berry. This class consists of 2 tests, 1 assignment, 1 paper &amp; 2 extra credit opportunities. Participation is required. Textbook is required. You have to read. Professor Berry is the best!! CONNECT assignments (easy 100%), quizzes, and a final(proctored). I would take him again for another class if he teaches it! This man deserves way more than 5 stars. Class is super laid back but you learn a lot and have really interesting discussions in class. He doesnt take attendance regularly but when he does he makes it into a fun game. Do yourself a favor and take this class with this professor. You can tell he really likes coming to class and teaching.

Mr. William was an awesome instructor. Class revolved around a book where he selected certain passages to read. Theres 4 quizzes and a final. Quizzes are open book and attendance was not required. You need to participate in feedback of what you read in the book. You have to reach to 40% in the class so participation is majority of your grade.

Berry's CLP 2001 class is very inspirational and not like any other elective classes. If you want to take a class to see if you're interested in psychology, definitely take this class. All you need is the textbooks to read, show up to class and participate in almost every class since your grade depends on it.

I've taken Berry for all his classes and that should be enough to tell you that he is a great instructor. He's passionate about his lectures and is hilarious, and he shares lots of podcasts and other resources that relate to what we are learning. The hardest class was probably CLP2001 because I took it online and it was lots of material.

Prof Berry has got to be one of the easiest to deal with. Getting an A is easy as long as you follow his expectations. This was my second class w him w no issues whatsoever. His DEP 3305 class consists of 1 weekly connect assignment online, 4 quizzes, and a final exam. You can get extra credit by talking in class. The class conversations are interesting and the content isn't difficult. Highly recommend taking Professor Barry's class.

His class is east. He does expect you to participate and be active. You do have to purchase a textbook or digital access. It is a book written by him, but it is also easy to read. I can agree that communication and could be clearer and his emails are blunt. But the formula is easy: read, do the work, participate, ask questions & you will pass.

He is literally so nice. He is funny and cares about his students. Very knowledgeable. He is very relatable, down to earth, very human. He has a life outside class and always comments on his life and you can see he is literally hilarious. Does not take himself seriously.

Participation is the majority of your grade. The whole point of the class discussions is to share what you found inspirational or enlightening about the reading. Every day that you participate you get 3 points and you have to get 40 points by the end of the semester to get full credit. He offers extra credit too.

Love this guy. He's hysterical; unintended comedic relief while drawing from his experience with his own clinical practice to relativize the material. He opens for discussion every class, and creates an environment where students can feel safe to ask anything, even stupid questions. If you are serious about becoming a mental health counselor take his classes!

I highly recommend taking Professor Berry. The workload is super manageable (4 tests, 1 final, and 30 participation points.) He's hilarious and is extremely passionate about psychology. He was very knowledgeable and piqued my interest in the subject. My only nitpick is that he enjoys controlling a conversation so it is a bit tough to get a word in.

Honestly he's not for everyone, he has a dark sense of humor and that may not everyones cup of tea. The class though is super easy with very few easy grades. I absolutely love this professor! He was so funny and made the class entertaining. He was an easy grader and was extremely chill. The quizzes and assignments are really easy. There is only one paper that we need to write but we have 4 topics to choose from. This class is participation heavy but I still recommend taking it if you're shy.

He definitely has a blunter personality which I'm sure can be off putting to some people, but the number of dislikes on positive reviews seems really weird. Don't let that sway you! Took this course over the 6 week summer term. Berry was very clear about grading criteria and taught to the test, so if you follow along with his textbook highlighting you'll be fine. Funny guy, jokingly picks on students sometimes, but is lighthearted about it. Heads up: he's going to shill his podcast to the class. It's not that bad.

There were 5 test and were online. The final exam you have to use a lockdown browser. He does a lot of lectures, but does not assign any homework. For attendance, he selected students to pick a number. If your number was picked, and you were not there, then he will take points off for attendance. So skip at your own risk.

Class is easy if you pay attention. Some questions on the quizzes are based on random things that happened in class, and attendance is checked based on picking numbers, so make sure you show up. As some reviews say, he can be a bit rude, but he doesn't mean it seriously, he just has a cynical sense of humor. Don't take him if you're sensitive.

If you want to learn and have a good grade with an incredible experience, I recommend Professor Berry. The 4 Quizzes are open book but the only thing I put you as a warning is that you must speak 4 times in class to get 30% of your final grade. final Exam is at home whit HonorLock, if you get a bad grade at the Final doesn't affect you.
