I really enjoyed this class!

Fabulous teacher, really helpful. Overall extremely easy class and not demanding of one's time...will be taking 1302 with him next year.

He is the best professor to have and he is funny as hell. This is one class thats you do not have to do to much work. If you want to pass take this.

He was SO easy. I mean for real. We had an open book final and he's pretty easy with grading papers. He gives reviews and the answers to tests come right off the review. Way too eays. :) .. Plus I learned a lot!

He's a great teacher. He actually made literature interesting. I couldn't wait to read the stories so we could discuss them in class. I really enjoyed it.

I learned allot in this class. I have combined it with few visits in the writting center which was part of the lab given and mastered most of the writing techniques required. I am taking him again for 1302. I would highly recomend him.

Good teacher, he grades very easy you just have to turn in the work. Daily participation is measured by the written work turned in each day, so attendance is kind of mandatory. I enjoyed his class and recommend him.

Brannon is a great professor. He made class interesting with all of his stories. There are only five essays throughout the semester, so the paperwork/homework isn't bad at all. MUCH better than what I've heard about many of the other english professors.

This guy is hillarious! He makes class so much fun. We had four essays not including the final which was a beast! I can't write a paper to save my life and got an A in the class. He likes to say "UH" a lot and tells a lot of funny stories. He also lets us out about 20 minutes early every time. I Definately reccommend him. He's the best!

Professor Brannon was so great. The class was sometimes boring, but Brannon seemed to understand and expect us to not be overly excited about it. He is kind, funny, and extremely understanding. I think there were 15(very easy) quizzes, two major papers, 8 journals, and the EASY final. The final took me about 20 minutes to do. Def. take him!

Prof Brannon is a great teacher. The class can get boring at times but he likes to tell a lot of funny stories to keep his students interested. There were four essays and some journals throughout the semester. This class was an easy A, however I didn't learn anything that i didn't already know.

He must have a lot of energy because he will walk around the classroom over and over again. I get dizzy trying to keep track of where he is! WOOOWW!!! PROF BRANNON IS THE BEST!!! No tests all semester, except for writing 5 essays( not to mention the EASIEST finals). this class is the easiest way of getting a straight A in english!Prof. Brannon is sooo funny with his little stories and very chilled and layed back.GREAT TEACHER! absolutely loved his class!

Best teacher you will ever take. Easily make an A by turning in essays, class work, and labs. He is very helpful, and accepts late work at the end of the semester. Take him if you can get in. His classes fill up quick!

Very simple class. You just have to show up and as long as you can write decently and follow the directions on the essay assignments you will do very well in the class.

Professor Brannon is an excellent instructor. I had to get use to his teaching style, but, at the end of the day,you will not regret choosing him as an instructor. By the way, Prof. Brannon reads everything. Please don't think he doesn't. He knows which students are slackers in their writings, and he also knows a student's style of writing.

You have to be retarded as hell if you DO NOT pass this man's class. He tells you EXACTLY what is expected of you. JUST FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. Students will fail or make the average grade if they don't. He gives you the opportunity to rewrite your paper for a better grade. If you don't want to do it, you gotta be stupid.

He is really fun and a funny teacher. His dry humor makes class great! I was not excited to take English & even though we do work in there, it's never boring. He mentioned being single (mid-30's) a couple of times and I hope some womean gives him a chance cause he's really cool. You def need a book and should show up to class often/he takes roll.

This was the easiest class. Make sure to do the lab work and come to do all the daily work, but it was super easy. Best teacher to take by far.

Professor Brannon's class was extremely enjoyable. His class isn't super hard which is refreshing compared to the rest of my classes. The grades are based on 5 essays and easy daily work. His dry humor makes me crack up everytime. His class is so worth taking. But spots fill up fast, so hurry up.

You should take him if you arent into it. He's understanding. Hint: Watch your football he likes to give hints to quiz questions using football. it was easy if ya paid attention. I skipped class a lot but he was helpful in bringing you up to speed if ya emailed him before. I actually enjoyed the class was pretty easy if ya read the stories.

Mr. Brannon is an excellent teacher!!! I am taking his express English 1302 class and there is quite a few papers to write in a short amount of time, but he is really great at explaining the assignment. i recommend this teacher to anyone who wants to laugh in class because some of the stuff he says is hilarious!!!

He is GREAT!!! AWESOME take him and you would not regret!! I am an international student, and took his express class, and got an A!!! humorous and interesting! definitely will take his English 2! All you need to do for this class is write journals and some essay which is predicable.

He is an easy grader, He does not really care if your essays are crappy, but he does look for punctuation and grammar mistakes. Highly recommend him!

If you are looking for a funny guy, Dr Brannon is it. I made an A. He requires journals, 5 essays and your final is an essay. I wouldn't say he's easy, but it's work. If you attend class, do the work that is required, you'll make an A I promise!!

I think this is one of the coolest professors I've ever had. He has an easy syllabus to follow. He understands students. He is crystal clear on everything he says. He helps out students anyway he can. Its an easy A. And on top of that, he is a funny guy. keeps you laughing all throughout his class.

Dr B is awesome!! He's funny, and is really easy and helpful when it comes to assaignments. You have to work harder to fail his class than to pass it. I recommend him for anyone.

Took his 1301 Express class (Only 8 weeks long); Loved it! He's really funny and kept class interesting. Explains everything thoroughly, and will even proof-read all papers in case you need to correct anything. I'd highly recommend him to anyone!

This is an extremely easy class, perfect if you are just taking it as a requirement. Easy A if you pay attention in class. He tends to monologue, but he can often be quite funny. Advice: if you are a major in any area of Communication, avoid him like the plague! He's so lenient that you'll learn nothing. Otherwise, enjoy the class!

Take him if writing/English class isn't your forte. Never bought the book, only needed it twice for 2 short journal entries which you can use from the library. He's a very easy grader, kind of boring at times b/c he tends to talk slow but his stories are funny nonetheless. He's a very helpful guy, I'm taking him for 1302 as well.

Dr.Brannon is funny, helpful, and an extremely easy grader.English is a boring class.Show up, do the journals early, complete assignments on time, get an A.The only way to fail is not show up or not do the work. If you can write your name you will pass. Dr. B makes this class stress free, and teaches ways to make writing enjoyable and easy.

SUPER EASY CLASS!!! It's pretty boring, he's monotone but very nice. I took him for 1301 and had 5 or so short papers and they were so easy and the final is short essay as well and you have several prompt options for the final. I got an A on every paper and the final and plan to take him for ENGL 1302

Super awesome professor! Funny in a way & has great class cooperation. Loves to talk to class. He literally lets you write whatever comes in mind. All tasks and assignments are all you. Attendance is not mandatory as long as you do your work and turn it in on time. Will definitely enjoy this class.

He was a pretty legit professor. SO SO easy, he def make class fun and interesting. His jokes are sometime not that funny and pretty monotone for the most part but good class EASY A.

Excessent Professor and very funny. Not hard to make an A IF you do the assignments and quizzes. He is so helpful it is hard to do poorly in his class. Take advantage of it when he offers to review your papers before officially grading them. His assistance helps the A process. I would highly recommend his Engl 2342 class.

He is laid back but not "easy"! You have to do your work but he gives you enough help if you take advantage of it! He tells lots of jokes and gives lots of examples in class. It is hard to do poorly if you show up and do your work! If its not your strong subject take advantage of his offer to review your paper before they are due!

Took this class in the summer, and it was a joke. As long as you speak English, have proper grammar, and don't slack off, you will get an A. His class was easy for me, even though English isn't really my strongest subject. I would've taken him for ENG1302, but he isn't teaching it this semester :(. He even gives final prompts before the final.

Professor Brannon is a VERY easy grader, which I actually did not like. While it is nice to have earned an easy A, I did not enjoy attending his classes. For how easy he was, I probably could have gotten by with simply not attending any classes other than to turn in papers. I'm a student who enjoys a challenge, so if you are too, take someone else.

Prof. Brannon is the absolute best. You will have 4 essays and lab work throughout the course, but the lab work is not due until the week before finals. He completely goes over each essay with you beforehand and so it is clear what he is expecting. Does not grade too hard. He has an awesome sense of humor and loves to tell stories!

Awesome professor! such an easy A and you don't need to buy a textbook. There are 4 essays & additional lab work. He pretty much spends every class period going over what he expects on the essays. I got all A's on the essays. Make sure to start the lab work as early as you can cause its stressful doing it all the night before.

He is such a great professor. Extremely funny!!!! I looked forward to this class (and I hate school). Open class discussions, which always had humor, showed applicable videos from time to time. Took summer class for engl 1301. He had few assignments all due within a short amount of time. It was quick and easy and he gave good feedback. No reason not to get at minimum a B. Easy A though. He talks a lot about personal stories that relate and he stutters a little, but really nice guy who tries to help you out if you ask.

He's really boring & tries to be funny.. but he's really easy. 4 essays, no tests. 8 journals you get at the beginning of the year & they're all due the week before the final exam. I would suggest not waiting until the week of to complete them like I did. The book is very essential and you need it almost everyday in class. Take him for an easy A!

He is a very boring man. He makes a short lecture feel long with his "humor." He feeds off of how students react to his "jokes." He is however, a professor that lays out all information for you. BUT! He is extremely technical with his MLA format and Works cited page. If you miss one tiny thing. You WILL fail a paper over a Works cited page.

It's a blow off class. It's super easy as long as you follow the instructions for each essay. Some days professor Brannon is funny, some days he isn't, so be prepared to fake laugh at his terrible jokes. If you want an easy A this is the perfect class.

This class was probably the easiest class I have taken. Professor Brannon is not a tough grader at all and gets that not every paper is perfect so he does not grade them harshly. His class isn't the most entertaining to attend but you can expect an easy A in the class as long as you turn in everything.

Professor Brannon is one the best professor I have had! I recommend everybody to take him! He has fun lectures and as long as you interact with him during classes you will have a fun time. Over the course of the semester you have a few essays to write. That is all! Gives you ample time to do them so you can get an A if you work on it properly!

Professor Brannon's class follows a very easy format-4 papers, 8 journals due the week before finals. Correct MLA formatting on papers is very important when it comes to his grading. Other than that, you just have to follow the topic instructions he gives you for your papers.

He's very clear about what he wants. 4 essays and 8 journals + the final essay. Very kind in grading but make sure you have the correct MLS format and good grammar in your essay or else you will lose points. He's very nice and makes the class fun by making us work in groups. He has a sense of humor.

He's got his own sense of humor but he kept me laughing all semester with his impressions and he made you really think about the novels. I wasn't excited about the books that he had picked at first but after reading them they turned out to be awesome. I would take this class again. It was fun and easy to pass, just have to read.

TAKE HIM!!! If you're good or bad at writing he will help you. I was awful at English and writing usually getting C's and D's on my papers, and with his help I got A's and made me a better writer. I had him for ENGL 1301 and gonna have him for 1302, and can't wait now. I recommend him to everyone and he is definitely a great professor. TAKE HIM!!!

Dr. Brannon kept the class entertaining with his anecdotes. He was very clear and upfront with his expectations on his papers. Show up in class, pay attention, and the work won't be hard. Prompt in replying to emails, and very available at his office. Good natured, and seems to care genuinely about his students.

His class was my first college class. It has been two years and I haven't had another professor like him. This guy is LEGENDARY. He's really professional. Professor Brannon is a super easy grader! There are 4 main essays that you have to turn in as well as labs. Lectures are reading out of the textbook which can get boring, but all the information he reads does help when it comes to writing your essays. He is an easy grader, so just show up, participate, write the essays, and you'll be just fine!

Proffessor Brannon, is very gentle man. He always prepare the class for the lecture and he give clear example or idea how to do your essay. Then, he help students to improve their academic performance.

He is one of the best professors at Collin! He tells stories that are as hilarious as they are relevant. There are only a handful of essays and some short journals. The textbook is only actually necessary for a few of the journals. Professor Brannon is very polite and helps students try to increase their grade(even those who don't deserve it).

I took him for Maymester and it was so EASY. I always enjoyed his hilarious stories. He will take essays for completion grades. SHOW UP AND YOU WILL PASS I PROMISE. I would take him again!! He lets out of class early too which is nice.

I love Brannon! He ensures that everyone knows what's going on at all times, while still keeping things interesting. THE EASIEST AND CHILLEST CLASS OUT HERE! Only 4 essays and one "lab" assignment. He might be BORING or annoying at times but is funny in his own way! Very laid back lectures! No extra credit but you won't need it. YOU WILL PASS! TIPS: you don't need the book(borrow from peers) only for the "lab" assignment, and participate and engage. Chill dude

If you need this class just for the credit, TAKE HIM. It's only a few papers and short essay for the final and an easy lab component. His lectures are not needed to write the papers, since he posts everything you need, but his stories that he tells in class are absolutely hilarious. He clearly provides criteria and is an unbelievably easy grader :)

The class is easy, but not to the point where it is boring. I never really liked english, but I was able to enjoy this class because I think it focused more on creativity and ideas rather than the technical aspect of evaluating and analyzing things.

Great professor. Grades very easily and fairly and is very understanding. Kind of just repeats everything on the slides so if that's not your cup of tea, then I suggest taking another class. Essays were the only test grades so if you pass the essays, you basically have an A, and the essays were fairly simple.

I took ENGL 1301 & 1302 with Professor Brannon. He is a very nice and chill professor. The coursework was straight to the point with doing 4 essays and labs. He had everything laid out, so it was up to the student to manage their time with their essays. He grades super easy as well. Definitely recommend taking him!
