If you want to be treated like a high school student, register for his class. Marks off points for insignificant things. I don't recommend this instructor.
If you want to be treated like you are a child, this is the class to take
Horrible! He makes a huge deal out of tedious insignificant details. WORST of all, he treated everyone, even people his own age as if we were highschool students with behavioral problems. E.G. "sit up, this isn't a lounge."!If you like that, tak
horrible teacher, i can't understand why he is still teaching. he takes useless details too seriously and holds personal vendettas against students when they prove him wrong. check out www.ratemyteacher.com and look under benson high school for more info.
Diss is very strict but a very good teacher nonetheless. A lot of people complain about his method of teaching but I think it helps people get the stuff he covers. STOP COMPLAINING YOU LAZY MORONS.
Very very strict, which is exactly what I needed. Does not allow calculators, which is also exactly what I needed. I got more out of this class than any other I've ever taken. If you are serious about wanting to actually absrob what is taught in your math class, Mr. Diss is your man. Stop whining.
would not recommend this instructor, he is a conservative christian and is demeaning to adults. Horrible teaching method. Took this class and dropped on 8th week w/ a B-. Enrolled again w/a daytime instructor and got A's ever since.
Mr. Diss is the best math teacher for anyone looking for a real challenge. You actually LEARN here, folks. His tests are seriously tough and you cannot breeze through it, but his teaching really forces you to focus and if you have the determination, you will learn math no better than with Mr. Diss.
A jerk. Felt like I was back in high school. Treated students, (mostly adults) like a teenagers. Was more interested in students following his steps then if you actually got problem correct or not. Take him if you want to be treated like an idiot.
THE WORST TEACHER I have ever had. He is a tyrant and not a very smart individual. Avoid him at all costs. He really is insulting to students.
Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! This man is a tyrant who seems to think students must be treated in an insulting manner. His dictatorial style is his way of hiding is lack of intelligence and his poor teaching ability. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Mr. Diss does treat students like teenagers a bit, but I have learned a lot from his class. If you take him you have to bite your tongue and tough it out, but you will learn how to do math by the end.
If you want to have a poor GPA, not understand Algebra, drop and retake the class, or be treated like a piece of crap, then William Diss is your man. I can't believe that PCC has someone like this actually teaching. It really made me wonder about the quality of instruction you get at PCC. Out of all the instructors I've had at PCC he was definetly
OK. The guy has the personality of a Grapefruit. Unfortunately, he's taught high school for 20+ years and that is why he's a bit patronizing. Even worse, I actually learned MATH in this class. The process and why it works is what is important. NOT the answer. I don't like him as a person, but I do respect that he actually TEACHES.
If you want to learne math this is the teacher he's Thourogh. If you study your notes as he says you will pass his test and if you ask questions in class he will answer them.
Easy class to pass, Don't be late but dont expect to actually learn he only teaches the methods not the understanding of the subject.
Hated this teacher....he made me unsure of the comcepts....he was completely anal when it came to assignments
Problem Being, that He teaches High school Math. So all his college students get taught like a bunch of Kids.
This teacher is very disrespectful to me as well as my boyfriend. My boyfriend is legally blind and Diss refuses to make notes for him which he is require to do by law. Not only this but he took points from my boyfriend becuase he didnt see all the questions on the board. Hello he's blind! Never take this ****'s class.
This teacher is Horrible, I took his 60 class with the girl and her boyfriend who is blind and I can vouch, He is a total prick I dropped his class and Im going to tutor into math 95, Dont waste your time or money on this instructor he is a JERK!
You will hate this man's class, and you will probably hate him. That's fine, because YOU WILL LEARN. Just bite your tongue, clench your jaw and do exactly as he says. Like basic training, you'll look back on Mr. Diss' class with pride, and later share a special bond with the others in the class. But you'll hate it while you're there.
Meh. His 65 is MUCH tougher than 60. I still learned quite a bit (math does NOT come easy to me). A decent instructor, if a bit over-extended in his life. Diss was quite scattered all through the term, but did a reasonable, barely passable job.
Complete ****! Run fast and far!
THis professor encompasses the apitimy of a poor instructor. He loves to humiliate students, is 15+minutes late almost everyclass, takes long breaks and makes you stay to late. He does not teach merely writes his notes on the board and makes you copy them word for word...most of class is spent just copying notes.
Very strict on grading, lots of homework.
The people before me said it all. I hated the class. He makes a class that should be easy hard. Basicaly, a bad highscool teacher.
Why is this guy still teaching! Horrible!!
the worst teacher on the planet. He thinks he's a little Hitler and runs his class like a prison warden. He should be arrested for student abuse.
Incomprehensible.....non-communicative, flunked three quarters of the class. What a waste of money!!
I don't know what the other people are talking about! Great teacher if you need to learn math...you just can't be lazy and have to want to learn to like his teaching. Teaches everything step-by-step to make sure you understand. Got B's and an A in his classes.
Bad, bad, bad. Think a little Hitler and you've got it in one. Treats students as if they were deliquents and is more interested in rules than in getting folks to understand the material. If you like being insulted and treated like a child, he's your man.
He is a bit rough at times. Ok, most of the time. I couldnt stand him while I was in the class. I hated his style of teaching because I did more writing (grammar not math) than I did in my english classes. But now that I am out of his class I realize that his approach is actually very helpful. It may seem rough at the time, but I think he is worth
This man is awful. Out of a two hour class, about thirty minutes may be spent covering the material. The rest of the time is spent listening to his not very endearing storys about his childhood and family. You'll be better off in distance learning if Diss is your only option.

Mr. was very stricked, but really helped you understand the math. His many steps seemed ridicules at first, but you then realize that it really helps you understand the math. My math 95 calss is much easier after taking his class.
I was going to drop this class after my first day. I am glad I didn't, best math teacher Ive ever had. There is as much writting in this class as in a WR class, but is worth it. Never felt lost as I could refer back to his step by step instructions as needed. He also volunteers his own time to help students get up to speed.
Bill is a nice guy, but an awful math teacher. Instead of focusing on how to work math problems, he focuses on writing tons and tons of notes that you must pull out of your memory on the tests. He currently teaches high school and college, and it shows in the way he treats his students. No calculators are allowed in his classes.
Math has never been my forte and I have an A+, not because it's easy but because he's helped me understand it. Mr. Diss breaks everything down completely until you have no choice but to get it. And if you don't, speak up! I told him I needed help and he went the extra mile to do it. He gives credit for paying attention to detail. I love the class.
When in his class last year I was frustrated with the repetition and labeling of everything. However, I will never forget those steps to solving problems. It has definitely helped me to this day (now in 111).
He is a old high school teacher who is set in his old fashion teaching methods. He still teaches in high school and therefore treats his class like high school students. It's his way or no way!
--!Not a visual learners teacher!-- Nice man at heart. Lots of step-by-step writing. Lots of board work in class; homework every night which was actually helpful. Keep all your homework assingments/quizes/tests. Very willing to help one-on-one. Often late, but for good reasons. He may seem abrasive at times but he is actually very willing to help.
Mr. Diss is an amazing teacher. He has a very strict teaching style, but for those who struggle in math, it helps a lot. He is ABSOLUTELY hilarious, and makes me laugh everytime i see him.
Mr. Diss is a lot like Mr. Hand from Fast Times At Ridgemont High. When it comes to math, he is intense. While in his class I felt a bit overwhelmed. But I found out later how well I was able to absorb his teachings. The steps he forced me to take seemed to be unnecessary, but I realize now how thorough he made me as a student. Thank you Diss
I believe the only one who enters positive remarks about Diss is Mr. Diss. My experience at PCC has led me to believe he is the worse teacher on campus.
Bill Diss teachs the best way to teach math. He will force you to learn, but if you really care about learning math not only to pass the test but for a career life then Bill is your guy.
hes mean
If you have been out school for more then 10 years, or you are someone who needs more then a procedure manuel to learn from this is not your teacher. Do not bother going to the tutoring center because they do not use his steps, and you will still get the answers wrong.
I just took a placement test after taking JUST his 60 class and tested into 111! So that means the class is tough, but can be VERY beneficial. He is an underappreciated teacher, VERY willing to help even if he teases you about it. If you like a lot of breakdown and need steps and arent a natural math brain he's your guy!
Mr. Diss is the worst Teacher I have ever had in my life. Math is the least of what I learned in his class. My writting have increased more than my math skills. If you have a question, good luck. You better know your times tables. Mr. Diss loves his times tables and swears that you could cure cancer as long as you know your times tables. bad class!
You people that say he is like a Warden in a prison, a little hitler, or even a bad high school teacher, you didn't have to deal with him in high school. He would try treat all the students the way he treats his class. Very demeaning and he is also very stuck up.
Simple the best math instructor I have ever had. Believe me or not because of Mr.Diss, I am an Engineering student. If you want to learn math Mr. Diss is the man if you don't;then, try others. He helps more and expects more!
Okay here's the deal with Diss: He makes you take meticulous notes, he writes step by step instructions how to solve problems. Good if you are better with words than numbers. HOWEVER he has a short fuse, and he can be a bit harsh in his comments. He can make you feel embarassed if you are confused. He has a "there are stupid questions" attitude.
If you really want to understand math, Mr. Diss is the best teacher you could ever have. He explains everything step by step. No skipping around and expecting you to "just know" what's happening. He is tough in some ways, but you will come away really having learned the concepts. I would take him for every math class I need to take if I could.
honestly, he is not the teacher everybody below thinks he is. he makes up stupid stories in class and just so you know i took more notes in his class than in my writing and geography class combined. i guess im more of a trial by error person and he freaks out when you don't do it his way. if you want unneccesary points taken from your test.CHOOSE H
Mr Diss is a challenging teacher. His methods are very complete, meaning you will cover all required material. I would recommend Diss if you are planning on continuing your math education, but if math 65 is your only require math class...find another teacher.
He is hard. Let me repeat. The instructors at PCC refer to him as the Math Nazi "and no I'm not kidding". Loads of homework that is worth just enough for you to have to do it, but not enough to be fair for the amount of work you do "count on 5-8 hours worth after each class". And he marks off big for not doing unnecessary steps. Skip if you can!
I dropped this class after 2 class sessions. He was rude, loud and referred to the class as "you people". Just not someone that makes you want to learn.
He teaches what he teaches well. But you WILL take enough notes to replace the amazon forest and the worst part it you cant use them on any tests or quizes! Homework is only worth thirty percent of your grade which is ridiculous cause there is so much. But besides that i personally find him funny
Mr. Diss is a tough and picky instructor, but incredibly thorough. As a struggling math student I found his clear written steps and examples to be a huge help in grasping concepts that had once eluded me. Take the notes, do the homework, and you can't help but learn a great deal. If you take learning seriously, Bill Diss is a fine teacher.
I love math but I hated it with Mr. Diss. I can't believe how he treated the students in my class. He was RUDE and not responsive to students asking for help. He makes you go up and work problems on the board like you are in Junior High. Horrible class. I didn't took 2 terms off from math because of him. I will never take him again.
I know that he has a lot of steps, but it really is useful. With out his steps in 65 I would be struggling with mth 95. He likes things to go his way, which isn't a lot to ask, but if you do them, you will get a good grade and it will be easy. Hes a little old school, but not that bad. Just deal with the amount of writing you have to do and you sho
I hated every minute of class with him, there was A LOT of writing down EVERY step to EVERY problem, I used 3 notebooks in this class. Everything had to be his way or the highway. That being said, had I not taken his math 65 class I am 100% sure I would be bombing math 95, looking back I am glad I took his class. Thanks Mr. Diss!
Probably one of my fave mth teacher. Very funny and kind and will go out of his way to help his students. I enjoyed being in his class and he makes it fun. Very approchable and expects you to do well in class like most teachers. Be prepared to take a lot of notes though, they are very helpful.
Mr. Diss was an extremely good teacher. He didn't take BS from the students who slack which makes them really mad. I found that the students who struggled are the ones who didn't pay attention and wanted to mouth off more than learn something. I'm not good at math but i got an A in his class because he explains concepts so well. Good job Mr. Diss!
Best math teacher ever. He is picky about his steps but you will never not know how to solve a problem. Even years later. wish more professors were like him.
Mr.Diss, wants U 2 do things his way, use your brain, write the steps and he expects things turned in as instructed. he makes it very clear from the beginning that this is his class, if you do not want to do things his way, don't take him. he is an amazing teacher, he knows his stuff, he went out of his way to help, you will learn. I recommend him!
You'll spend 75% of class noting HIS way of doing things. VERY PICKY!! His notes are very detailed but he doesn't work enough problems. If you've done this level of math B-4 you'll have to forget everything you know for this class. H allows no variation. He will take extra time outside of class to help u if you need it and he has a sense of humor.
Awesome teacher, if you want to learn math. His notes taking are unnessary to some people, but it really helps if you want to go on higher math. His tests aren't that difficult either, cause you know exactly what to expect. His is very picky the steps, but he has a sense of humor. I would take his class again if he teaches higher math class.
I had him for 60 & 65. He is very thorough about the notes that he provides to you. He gives you everything step by step so you cannot go wrong!! He is very, very helpful and would come in for special tutoring sessions to help us even more. He was really great and I HATE math. I got a B's. He was my BEST math instructor and I am in 243 now!
i took this class at 7:30pm and i dont know if by the end of the day Mr. Diss is just tired and his ability to teach math wavers, but i have never had a teacher more umable to teach in my life. he is completely unorganized, monotone and homework happy. if hes gonnna tell stories all through class, he shouldnt be giving 100+ math problems a night.
Consistently late to class, very picky about proper punctuation and grammar within notes he never uses. Monotone, tells very poor jokes, wastes class time, tells you that you are doing something wrong but does not always explain what that is, poor people skills, usually distracted by his high school obligations. Overall, did not enjoy the class.
Mr. Diss is a fantastic Math teacher. He does give a lot of homework, but goes over everything in class, and gives points for corrections made in class. He likes neat work, and explains things very well. I am very impressed with how much I learned in his class, and hope my next math professor is as good.
Mr Diss was so great! His note taking was easy...just do it. Its like the Karate kid! You will understand later! Loved his class learned a lot and feel confidant moving forward. Wish I had him for the next class.
Worst instructor Ive had. He uses the same shut-up and do it approach from High School that keeps American test scores abysmally low. Frequently spent more time telling family stories than explaining the material. I will never consider read the notes and try harder useful advice. If you cant memorize, prepare to get DISSED!(which he did to a kid)
Yes he is monotone, Yes he tells stories, But he also will come in on saturday if you need help figuring out what is going on. He is a very passionate man and if you refer to your notes that you take in class then you will have little problem. I liked him and still use his techniques to this day in Mth 251.
Mr. Diss is an amazing teacher! He cares for his students. He will come in on Saturdays to help you. His note taking is frustrating at first but then you take your first test and you see how much it helps, so just do it! Hes a good man!
Not a good teacher. I would tell you to go with any other teacher. He would break it down for you and when yoiu ask...he has a smart comment that is down right rude.
William Diss is a superb teacher. He asks student to do work on the board so he can assess our knowledge, he's generous with tutoring outside of class, he provides extra-credit opportunity, and he's a friendly, approachable guy. Best math teacher I've ever had. He prepared me to succeed in the math classes I've taken since.
Mr. Diss is a smart man. However hate his teaching method. It's all taking notes and no visual step by step learning. He is difficult to approach with questions as he rushes answers or pressures you to know things instantly. I taught myself alot of homework by watching YouTube math videos. He'll make you do problems on the board like a little kid!
Very procedural type of teaching style. I think he genuinely cares about his students success. Good MATH teacher but surprised me with how he demeaned some students. Guess I give him an A for his ability to teach math and a D for his ability to act professionally and treat students with respect. His 3.0 rating.
Good teacher, very knowledgable. Goes through the homework and answers questions. He is very clear of the type of work he expects and shows many examples of how to do it. Decent pass math class, but do not expect to use a calculator. If you don't feel comfortable with your math skills without a calculator, don't take this class.
Mr. Diss was routinely late for class and missed two classes altogether. Its clear that teaching at PCC takes a back seat to his day job at Benson High School. Expect to receive only 45 mins of instruction in a 2 hour and 20 minute class. He uses the rest of the time to grade papers, and make unprofessional comments to students.
Mr. Diss knows math, very well, and can teach it! But, there needs to be less idle chatting and more teaching. His step by step notes will drive some crazy, but are extremely helpful. Expect homework every single class.
Be prepared to take lots of notes and not to talk back or ask questions. Mr. Diss is quick to temper, and has no problem openly yelling at students or calling them out on mistakes in front of the whole class.
He is so helpful and generous. He try his best to make you understand. His notes are really helpful and he always find ways to help you pass.
MR DISS IS REALLY HELPFUL. HE PROVIDE YOU WITH ALL THE RESOURCES TO HELP YOU PASS HIS CLASS. HE IS SO FRIENDLY AND GENEROUS TO HIS STUDENTS.
Be prepared to get called on a lot! Takes excessive notes, not always relevant. Quit confusing at times but examples DO help. Would not recommend taking any classes with him (MTH 95).
Diss is very specific with his requirements and layout on work. He assigns a generous amount of homework, a lot of note taking, and gives challenging tests. However, he has a method to his madness, once you give up your defiance and accept his direction, Diss' repetitive manner promotes memorization and confidence.
Diss is a fundamentalist. He makes the basics very clear so that he can implement them later. He is very organized and he explains things slowly. He can seem brash at times, but he means well. He is very understanding and willing to help on his personal time. He also allows extensions for struggling students, if he's not being taken advantage of.
No calculators allowed. hw took 5+ hours per class & if you don't write out the question you have to re-do it. Used to be a cooperate manager & football coach and it shows. Calls on everyone and yells if you don't know answers. Makes you do timed times tables like it's 1st grade. Take this online before taking with him.
Mr Diss will tell you exactly what he expects. You will take notes all during class time. Don't expect to be able to work on homework during class. You will take several pages of notes everyday. He gives out homework all at the beginning of the term. But then will change it (things come up). Was late several times.
Very thorough teacher who teaches from the textbook in addition to giving practical, real-life examples of where the information learned can be applied. Provides very thorough steps to solving problems, as well as giving clear answers to questions that the students had about the material. Had him as instructor 2 terms; loved it and learned math.
Math is not easy for me. Mr. Diss made himself available for us students outside of class to help tutor. His love for Math helped and encouraged me to be a success and pass. Mr. Diss wrote out the entire math formulas along with his students. This demonstrated teamwork and allowed me to learn and retain the material. Thank you, my great mentor.
Generally speaking he's a nice teacher and yes he has had a lot fo experience. Overall my thoughts on him are rather harsh. so ill keep it simple. There's way too omuch homework for it to get done in two days. On the tests he corrects your spelling. The math on both the tests and the homework have to be done his way or it's wrong.
Mr. Diss is a really nice guy and I feel bad about giving him a bad review but his teaching style is awful. He makes you write extremely long outlines on how to do a math problem but then only gives one or two examples of the problems. Most of the time he would just email the steps and make you learn it on your own. Tests were hard and confusing
His teaching style is awful and he lectures the majority of class. He expects you to do things his way and use his methods, so note taking is mandatory, and there will be a LOT of it. He assigns a lot of homework and it's time consuming.
Mr. Diss had a very lighthearted approach to MTH 65 which was refreshing. He did not seem to take himself, or the class, too seriously, which definitely took the pressure off. Additionally, he managed to relate MTH 65 to the real world, making it interesting. Just expect to take A LOT of notes! But do not fear: they will serve their purpose well.
Mr. Diss is a great neutral teacher. Teaches you the pro outlook of math. He is very calm with his teaching. He wants to prepare his students for the best in math possible and to continued to excel to the higher math class. Gives test review which is helpful! He gives you points for efforts for trying to solve a problem! Generous & awesome guy!
Great Professor that cares about his students. He teaches math "Barney Style" he breaks everything down step by step and has students write down every single step! This may be boring and tedious for some students but his way of breaking down everything really helps in the long run and helps with students understanding and confidence.
You do a lot of in class work on the white boards, which is really helpful. He makes you write WORD FOR WORD directions on how to do the problem which takes up so much time. Then goes over one or two examples, then moves on.
Mr. Diss was a great teacher. Although I really disliked the class at first, Mr. Diss included me more and made me feel more welcome. He is funny, and likes his processes very much. He does have all the students use his methods, which was overall beneficial, but many of us were resentful at first.
Mr. Diss is an interesting teacher. He, by far, was not the best teacher I've had. His teaching style was very strict and down to the letter of the law. It was his way or it was wrong. For some this was helpful but for most of us in the class it was not.
Math doesn't matter it's all formatting.
Dropped his class because I just didn't get it. Does not really show examples, but writes step by step how to do them. Very different. No attendance policy set in stone, I only attended about 3 classes and skipped the rest. Gives even # problems in txtbook so cannot check answers. LOTS of HW, but assigned one week and due next. Nice guy though.
No respect whatsoever fro this teacher. He should know that most of his students are adults, not grade kids. Very disappointing. The only thing I learned in his class is how to write a lots of long "How to do it my way" . If you do it your way and answer is wright, you are still wrong. Don't waist your time and money.
He can be nice. He can be tough. He can be assertive in assuring your success, but only if you put in the effort. He will be passive if you don't put in the effort. It's really quite simple to get along with Mr. D if you are willing to change yourself even a little bit to meet his expectations.
Mr. Diss was great. He went above and beyond to help the students that were having a hard time including myself. He met us at random places to tutor us up to 4 times a week. He's totally fair and will let you retake a test if you simply don't understand the material. He is also a very fair grader.
Lecture heavy but the lectures aren't clear. Old dog can't learn new tricks.
Mr. Diss appears to be very disorganized, with little to no regard to students having lives or other classes. He does not plan his homework in advanced, so if you miss classes; good luck. Plan on at least 7-10 hours of homework per week. No calculator allowed. Excessive note taking required. Does not utilize book well.
Mr. Diss is a very nice man who means well. He was very lecture heavy and you will have to take a lot of notes. If you don't want to waste paper, don't take his class. He did get distracted easily by the rowdy crowd in the back which made it rough for the rest of us. He is very much about formatting and you cannot use a calculator ever in his class
An inspiring adult who actually cares about his students and wants them to succeed. I appreciated his insight and wish that he taught the rest of my math classes.
Mr. Diss was the best teacher I had this term. He makes his lectures clear and writes each step on the board. Hes definitely old fashioned so if you get offended easily, I would not recommend you take this class. He does try to talk as respectful as our society allows.
Mr. Diss is a great teacher. I learned so much taking his class in the fall. I came in not being sure how I would do, and he was able to ease my concerns. He is very helpful. If you dont ask questions how can he help you? Some people complain that he gives to many notes but to be honest writing them helps understand what you are doing - he also gi
Mr. Diss is an excellent teacher, I don't know what the bad reviews are all about. I thoroughly enjoyed his class. He's a genuine, down-to-earth, old-fashioned teacher. If you follow his leadtake notes, listen, participate, in shortif you're not being lazyyou will do just fine. He's also got a great sense of humor. Mr. Driss, you rock!
Format is very important for him. He is also old style; no calculator. He was very helpful with helping format. Not enough spacing between lines and you get marked down, very strict but helpful.
I have taken MTH 20, 60 and 65 with Mr. Diss. He goes above and beyond explaining math in a way students can understand. If you don't attend class, or pay attention to lecture it will be harder to pass. He was always available outside of class to help and go over homework questions! I really like his straight forward teaching style and humor!
Great teacher! He is SUPER informative and descriptive in note taking, but it helps immensely to understand the why. He is willing to answer any questions & help outside of class (via zoom). Goes over questions on assignments prior to submission. Detailed on corrected work. Particular on how to do assignments, but it isn't an impractical request.
Professor Diss seems to be a caring teacher. One on one discussions were helpful -he made himself available. HOWEVER - The class was disorganized, assignments were unclear and graded late, lectures and course materials were completely disorganized , and user experience for remote learning was piss poor. I taught myself basically. Not okay for $.
Mr. Diss is caring, respectful & he genuinely tries to help every student succeed. He's professional, direct & very thorough in his curriculum. I'd much rather have a patient, supportive & thoughtful prof like Mr. Diss any day of the week!!
Pros: lots of office hours, willing to help Cons: impatient, difficult, aggressive when asked questions
Strict and difficult to approach, got problems wrong on tests because I didn't format to his liking even though my math was correct. I would understand if this was a formatting class but it's not. Anytime I used methods from previous teachers he would call it “fake math” and reward no points even with the final answer being correct. No outside help
Just saying if you want someone that's going to be there for you and help you and be understanding DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS I REPEAT DO NOT even if you get the right answer and don't do it his way he'll mark you wrong 0/10
This man shouldn't be teaching a math class he should be teaching a formatting class. Even if you get the exact right answer but do it a different way than him he'll mark it as wrong. If you don't do it his way then it's wrong terrible teacher I only passed the class because of YouTube and khan academy take a different teacher.
Waste of my money taught myself through YouTube and old high school notes this dude is a pure pain to work with he seemed like he hated his life and took it out on students lol
Professor Diss is a wonderful instructor and taught math in a very approachable manner. Although he is particular about how to format problems, as long as you follow his format you will get a good grade. Allows late work up to two weeks and is consistently available for aid understanding concepts. A kooky individual but very caring.
