A very good professor for philosophy courses. Teaches Phi: 2000, Phi 3030 and et al. Tests are easy. He reviews before midterm and the final so they become easier. You either like him or hate him becasue the way he is. He'll listen if you've problems!
very little reading to do. explains a lot of stuff in class. tests based on notes rather than reading.
funny guy. talks a lot. easy tests.
He's Ok. We read about 10 pages for the semister. Grades are more than fair. Take his class. Always multiple choice questions for exams
If you want an easy A in his class, I have just one piece of advice: TAKE NOTES, TAKE NOTES, TAKE NOTES. o yea, he's kinda funny too.
I'm sorry guys but I don't agree with this. Everyone said he is such a nice teacher(yes he is) and exams are not hard but I and many other students are struggling with his exams because he makes it so hard that we can't even pass the test.
Tricky tests. Funny professor. Book costs $10. NO attendance. Only around 10 pages of reading and no essays, only multiple choice exams. But beware, tricky exams.
He's a nice guy. Makes a grading system and gives a small curve to help you NOT fail. However, his tests are not easy by any means. They are rather tricky. He words questions with double negatives such as: X is never not with respect to? Just study ha
tests are tricky in a way, take good notes if u want A. the text book is $10 only
Easy A class
Great prof. Easy A as long as you take good notes. Hardly any reading. Exams are based mostly on his notes.
Good professor (won't find many at baruch). No need to buy book, but it is only $10. No that much reading, as opposed to other PHI teachers.
I thought I'd get an easy A but my brain is not cut out for philosophical BS...Hes a cool guy and all but I just didnt like his course..hes too laid back for me, and is always talkin about some girl named Mary
Ok class, but somewhat confusing at times. Take good notes in order to get an A (not easy). Attendance is not required but i recommend it or else you will be lost. Trust me don't rely on anyone else's notes, they will only confuse you.
I still don't know what philosophy is. Since he gives multiple choice, it doesn't help. If u really wanna learn phi, take a professor who gives essays. If you want an easy class, take him.
I attended his class 6 times, including exam dates, and still got an A.
AWSOME! Exams are right out of class notes, hes funny, cool, interesting and helpful. I feel bad for cutting sometimes but i really need my sleep on Tue/Thu.
Greatest professor ever! Humorous, smart, laid-back. Interesting classes. Exams are easy if u listen to the lecture or get someone's notes. No attendance!
Great professor, attendance is not required, but you need to be there to take good notes. Exams are made up from what he says in class. Overall a cool guy, really funny, and helpful.
Awesome professor. Easy A. No attendance is required. You just have to take really good notes.
He's generally a good professor and quite funny at times but I found myself uninterested in the material he was teaching. Not a very intellectually stimulating class but if all you care about is an easy A, this is the class to take. But make sure you attend his classes. Lectures are important.
This guy is amazing!Extremely intelligent. It seems he has PHD in everything.I enjoyed every second of his class. It is very important to come to classes cuse 80% of tests are from his lectures.Test are tricky but after the 1-st test you know what to expect. He gives a secret curve :-)Highly recommend!
This professor is hilarious. He always brings laughter into the classroom. The examples he uses to teach are also easy to understand and relate to. The tests aren't hard at all. Make sure you come to class everyday or else you'll be lost.
By far the FUNNIEST professor I've ever had. Class is a blast. He makes crazy jokes and is absolutely hilarious. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK! Three tests come straight out of the lectures and roughly 11 pages in the book. Scan the pages from the library. Best professor for PHI 2000!
I loved this class the most. Easy tests, easy material. Highly recommended!
very interesting professor, an excellent/humourous lecturer. This guy will not bore you to death(even if you don't like the subject) like a lot of professors do. Class time passes by quick because he is efficient and often lets you leave 10-15 min. early. Just come to class, take good notes.
This professor really sucks. Examens are so hard , so I failed. m/c exams and very confusing. Hardly smiles in class. Boring examples. Horible class. N o recomended for none.
The person who who said he is hard and confusing shouldn't be in college. He is the easiest prof. on earth. Go to class, and listen to his examples, you do v. good.
great professor. exams are confusing so you have to pay attention in class. very nice guy
Really chill. never takes attendance. if you show up you show up. 3 exams..can be tricky if you never go to class..exams are based on a couple handouts and the notes you take in class. pretty funny guy too.
Easy professor that has test completely based on his handouts and notes, he tells you to buy his book, but we did not even use it so don't really need it.
Has to be one of the best profs at baruch. Very very cool guy, even though he's at his retirement age, and he does teach you to think in "philosophical" ways. You really dont need any memorization skills or such. Just come to class with a logical and open-minded brain. Easy A but you'll definitely learn something.
This has got to be the best looking 64 year old man I have ever seen! If you can, take honors with him cuz its just 2 more essays than the regular class but you get to interact on a 1 on 1 bases with him.He was my fav professor this semester. Tests-easy as long as you come to lecture..You gotta be a moron not to get B. Got an easy A w/o much work.
I hate this professor so much. His tests are tricky and his examples don't even make sense. I can't believe how he has such a good rating. You must be kidding me!
Very easy professor. Definitely recommended. His tests are tricky when you first see it but this class is def good to take for an easy A. No homework, just come to class and take notes
Prof. Earle is not at all boring. He is actually pretty funny and the notes are not that hard because he explains it all the very next class. You have 2 buy his book to read like 4 pages all semester. Does NOT take attendence. However, the exams are VERY tricky, so you really have to pay attention in class. He curves all 3 exams though. Take him.
It starts off really interesting but then you start talking about how to precisify how many flies died last night, concluding that you can because some jerk off might have fallen asleep with his mouth open and the fly feel in and we could never measure that one so you cant precisify. He's not so boring and he's a nice guy, but the exams are tricky!
Take this prof I went to half of his classes feal a sleep in the rest. Still got an A. Test are easy as long as you use your brain, most of it is common sense. Review the notes, easy A.
Anyone who said he is tricky is because either they're retarded or never bothered paying attention. This guy is very funny and all it takes are minimal skills in note taking and listening to his amusing stories. I see people sleep in his class and wonder why cause he doesnt take attendance and if you're going to sleep, you might as well not come.
This is best prof i ever had in baruch. His class is so interesting and easy! Easy A! His test are not hard, plus he gave a lot curves and your high grade counts 60% of your final grade.
Great prof but a hard class sooooooooooo boring and not an easy A you gotta do lots of reading
He gave multiple choice tests in Philosophy class. very difficult, do not take him
how the hell can you not get an A in this class. This guy is hilarious. Hope he still impersonates a studderer. His sense of humor reminds me of howard stern. Wish he taught other classes. Only a retard should get less than an A. Take him if you can.
He's a very intelligent professor BUT take him at your own risk. His lectures are a little confusing and his exams are as well. Reading not really required but understanding his lectures is very recommended if you want an A.
Hes probably the worse professor ive taken in Baruch. You have to buy his stupid book written by him and since he doesn't make sense in his lectures, his book doesn't make sense either. Then his exams are horribly hard. There is no way to study for these exams.
His class is easy. Just take really good notes. He does not give homework assignments. Read tests carefully because his wording is a little tricky.
3 exams, 40 multiple choice each, overall not that difficult if you pay attention and take good notes in his lectures; by the way, these exams favor logical thinking, not memorizing, so beware ;), highly recommended professor!
HE IS A GOOD PROFESSOR..TESTS R LITTLE TRICKY HE NEVER TOOK ATTENDANCE IN CLASS U CAN ALWAYS GO TO HIM FOR HELP B4 THE TEST AND WATEVER HE TELLS U ITS GONNA B ON THE TEST..ITS JUST LIKE U HAVE TO KEEP UR MIND OPEN HE IS SUCH A NICE PERSON V HELPFULL..I WOULD LOVE TO TAKE HIM AGAIN..COMMON SENSE IS NECESSARY IN THIS CLASS NO NEED OF BOOK
Just show up to class and pay attention, the guy can spend the whole class repeating just one example. You would have to be a total dumbass to fail this class. The guy has an extremely mono-tone voice but you get used to it.
This is the easiest class i ever took. All you have to do is study the notes that he gives in class. Then study for half an hour before each exam and you'll get a good grade. His tests are soo easy. The questions are straight out of the notes and the book. Definately the easiest philosophy class you can take
I really don't know about this man or his class!!!!!! He is so crazy and he does not make ANY AND I MEAN ANY SENSE!!!! Never shuts up even for one second! Talks and talks and talks!!! DO NOT TAKE HIM! He is only curving my second exam by 5 points which I still failed anyway!!! HORRIBLE!! DO NOT TAKE HIM!
he is the easiest prof anyone can think about.......just follow his class and you will be fine....he is very helpful.....i really enjoyed his classes....just beside this point plz can anyone post about prof sandra roff, her name is not there in the list of the profs,i loved her classes,so plz if anyone can pots her name
Hate him and the class. Will explain to you the same thing in the same way if you ask him for help which does not help b/c he'll leave you as confused as before if not more. he knows his stuff but ONLY to him. EXTREMELY vague, very very unclear and not helpful. take a professor who gives essay as mentioned before.. would be much easier.
People who don't go to his lectures will suffer while those who do will prevail. Pleasant learning experience.
Class is boring, you may fall asleep (hah .. may)... but the good part is he grades 60% highest test, 30% mid, 10% low so its in your benefit. tests q's are really confusing and misleading -- Its this, Its that, Its this and that type of questions. also, in the whole semester youll read maybe 20 pages from his smalllll book!
His tests are based completely on the class notes. You may have to read a max of 15 pages during the entire semester. If you're willing to go to class, then you shouold get no worse than an A- in this course. If you don't go to class, you may not do so well.
Great teacher, very clear, all based on notes which he reviews each class. A1 Teacher
class was extremely boring. it wasn't that the class was hard, just the way he words questions on exams that are hard. and also, you have no where to turn to when it comes to studying for the exams if you dont take class notes because the book doesn't help at all. i got a B+, and i managed to stay awake in class most of the time.
this class might have a easy grading system... but trust me you will need it.... the questions are extremely hard because of the way they r stated... for ex. on question 14) "according to your ans. from quest. 13..... " and the choices are a. ... b.... c. both a and b d) none of the above.... its very hard... cant really study for his exams
TAKE him!! He's an easy and funny professor...you only have to read like three pages in the assigned text to prepare for the test..he takes no attendance ..jus pay attention in class and you'll do great..there's three exams..the highest worth 60% and the lowest grade worth 10%..can u believe dat..he takes tons of stress of your back.
he is so hard attendence is mandatory tough teacher all around not so helpful. Had to drop the class Don't Take !!!!!
so hard I dont know what happened to him this semester he was the exact opposite from what was written in last semesters postings. I don't recommend you take him
just dropped it was to hard and was going to fail don;t recommend you take he was not a fair teacher at all
Not a nice guy! His tests are VERY hard (regardless of the "10-30-60 percent curves," he counts ur lowest test as 10%, middle as 30%, and 60% for your highest). STAY AWAY, especially if you are an ESL student, the way he words his tests makes them extremely difficult. He uses a lot of TRICKY double negatives!
He's weird. He seems nice but the tests are hard and there is no way to study for them. Attendance isn't mandatory though.
Definitely not easy A, but not extremely difficult. The test questions are not factual type, you have to make judgments and conclusions. The topic is so abstract, it is really difficult to expect what questions will show up on the test. No attendance, but almost everything is based on lecture. He loves to joke about Italian stereotypes like guido.
Prof. Earle is a quirky dude. In his lecture, he used examples that included Pam Anderson, ugly people, and the Italian guido. Tests require you to think, not memorize. So not easy A, but it is very possible to end up with a good grade. Gave 10 pt curve on the second test. He's a jokster, you will laugh quite a few times in each class.
Attendence is not mandatory. He is extremely boring to listen to. The tests are not easy. They just don't make sense, it seems like he is just going on his opinion for answers. His grading system is good.
The best. End of story.
Earle was excellent. Class seemed more like a conversation. The textbook was a small book written by him, which quickly summarizes important books, so there was no need to read the usual long, boring philosophy books. Just go to class, take notes, and you'll easily get an A or B
Tips: Go to every class, take as many notes as you can (especially examples that he gives). Read the few pages he gives from his book twice before an exam. And Read MCs twice before answering them: you may have to analyze it first. He may curve depending on how the class did and give you 60% for highest grage, 10% for lowest. He is wise and funny!
Doesn't take attendance, but the in-class notes are what the exams are based on. No need to buy the book, beacuse you'll only need to read 9 pages anyways. No homework!!! 1 exam, 1 Mid, 1 Final. All the same. 40 MC. Questions are tricky but he curves very nicely!
A very witty individual will keep u awake in class. But his exams are strangely confusing and hard. the examples he gives in class is such basic examples but when it comes to the exams u need to analyze them urself. some Q's need to read over and never even mentioned in class. I know how to study for exams but his always seem to trip me up!!
Professor Earle is a strange but cool guy. He can be very funny at times, and quite boring at others. Attendance is not mandatory. He wants you to do well, and unless you try not to, you will. If you understand the English language, his tests are not tricky.
Very good notes in class is the only thing you will need in order to get an A in his class. He can be strange and boring at times, but his jokes are funny :D Tests are as follows: 10% on the lowest grade, 30% on the test in the middle and 60% on your highest grade. He also curves the tests themselves too! The second test got a 10 pt curve! :D
Does not take attendance but gives hypothetical examples that are not in the text book that show up on tests that if you miss them will make it impossible to pass. Studying for tests are very vague because it comes mostly form class examples and 2 or 3 text pages. With a decent amount of effort you can achieve a B. He doesn't ask a lot.
Student below me is a ****. This professor is so damn nice and easy that it's one of the best classes you will ever take in Baruch. Yeah, I don't get the money thing but the man is sooo sweet and kind. The tests are pretty easy but he still curves. Awesome guy.
This is the easiest class ever. He's a great guy and the material is really easy if you just listen. Pretty much everything is about his notes and if you just pay attention, you'll get an A. He curves the tests and it's pretty much common sense. Definitely take him!
If there is anything that I learned in this class is that green numbers are lazy.
this guy cant teach. he wants you to listen every word he says and understand his stupid jokes. I asked him how to improve my grade and he told me to read the book. he was joking as I later found out. he says he doesnt know what to do with the money. Give it to CHARITY! DONT TAKE HIM!
Very easy class with a nice curve, the lectures are interesting, funny. Easy class if you try, but don't assume that you're getting an A if you don't study, show up to class.
You don't really learn anything from the class, but he tells great stories sometimes. A typical philosophy teacher...You don't need to buy the textbook, his tests are off what he says in class....but you can get an easy B without going to class...
He is an awesome guy, hilarious and always has an interesting story. Definetly take him. If you go to class, you'll get an A.
Very funny and entertaining professor. Tests are based on his lectures so if you are a person who falls asleep easily, think again before taking this class. Professor is amazing though, he curves like no longer so it's nearly impossible to fail his class.
The lectures were very good as he incorporated his own stories in them to make learning the material more interesting. The tests are pretty tricky but he curves a lot so you will be able to get a good grade.
Very good lectures but tricky and confusing questions on his exams. Very nice person as well.
This class is DESIGNED for you to get an A. 3 Tests total and nothing else. The 3 tests are weighted separately. Your best grade is weighted at 60%, second best at 30%, and your worst as 10%. Not only that, he gives curves as well(2-5 points on each test) based on the class average, and he could be persuaded to make it a higher curve. Take Him!
easiest a ever. attendance not mandatory, goes over the notes a million times in class. dont need the book. one downfall: pretty boring. he repeats himself a lot, but that helps because by the time you have to take the test, you wont even have to study. test can be kind of tricky, but just know everything he talks about in class (which isnt a lot)
3 tests(60%for the best grade,30%for the 2nd,10% for the lowest)and he gives 1 or 2 pts for each test.40 questions per test.taking good notes is the best way to get an A because it will be your only resource, the book is not helpful. The tests can be tricky but you should get an A if you take good notes. He tells funny stories to illustrate examples.
great guy. he explains everything so much that you have to remember it. dont need to go to class but definitly helps the book is a waste of money because the tests are all on lectures. tests can be tricky but if you study your fine...take him
By far one of the easiest As EVER! Dont buy the book! 3 tests which come directly from the notes. The notes are the same every semester LITERALLY about 99% word for word even like specific names in examples he uses. So if you know of someone who had him, use their notes and dont even show up to class (except for the 3 test days of course)
Very nice professor, he makes the class really fun and interesting, and an easy grader.
Nice guy...Willing to explain and help you if you need trouble...The only thing I don't like is that he speaks in a monotone. Otherwise he's great!
Easy teacher. Easy A. Doesn't use the textbook, everything is based on lecture. Just take the notes and study.
Earle is a laid back dude, no hw or paper assignments, just 2 class exams & the final. attendance not mandatory. lectures may get boring because of his voice...he is very funny & hilarious n loves to tell stories, take lecture notes & u shud b fine, almost always late coming to class, very easygoing guy...u will laugh once in a while
Low textbook usage, no hw. all tests come from his hand outs. awesome. and funny guy
hi is a nice guy.Tests based on the lectures, if u miss 1 or 2 u have to copy it from someone.Questions on the tests are impossible to understand, even if u know the concept,u can't understand what he is asking you.Out of 4 answers 3 do not apply(as he says) although all could be correct. makes no sense! There is no clear question and no clear answer
easy class
What an easy prof. I went to class 3 times...for the 1st 2nd 3rd exams. Never picked up a textbook, studied my friends notes for 10 mins and got a b. Your highest score is 60%, middle is 30% and worst grade is only 10% of your grade...i got 75 55 and 95 so ended up with a b!!
easy professor because the class is not demanding at all, however, be prepared for tricky tests... i feel that you are just a number in this class, so the tests are all that matter.. all in all the prof is full of himself so just be prepared for stories about his life
He's funny and makes philosophy interesting. You don't even have to go class and doesn't need to use the textbook at all. His tests are fairly easy. Take him, easy A.
his grading system is awesome..60% your highest grade 30% your middle grade and 10% your lowest grade.. attendance is not mandatory.. its a really easy class
This guy is so adorable. Yes, he can be a bit boring but he is relatively easy. Three exams, no mid-terms/finals or homeworks. He has a great grading system. He explains his class with real life examples and is very funny. The exams can be a bit confusing because of the word choices but hey its PHIL, its expected. I would definately recommend him.
Exams are confusing because of word choice. He tells you that attendance is not needed. You just need one book, really cheap. Three exams, multiple choice.
Boring. Doesn't care if you fall asleep in class. No assignments, just 3 tests. Must take notes in class for test questions are from his lectures. Attendance not mandatory, he doesn't care. Fall asleep in front of him, it's all good. Tests are quite confusing.
Best Professor in Baruch.
attended his class only a few times and got an a. three tests, no assignments. i was in and out on the test days in less than half an hour. i haven't learned anything though. take earle's class if you don't care about getting much out of it and don't want to do anything. he seems cool but just doesn't have a passion for teaching.
his class was always funny, he brought some interesting cases to us all the time. attending his class like going to a talk show, useful!
Take him, such an easy A! Class can get boring but he is pretty funny at times. Don't buy the textbook, just take notes on the lectures. Just 3 tests and he curves them & weighs them in your favor: lowest grade=10%, middle=30%, & highest=60%
I would only recommend this clas to people who just want to fill the requirement. I wen to his class the first days, made some friends who later gave me the notes and never went again just for the 2 exams and final. Textbook is not needed and if u are going to attend his class... Take a large coffee, ur gonna need it!!
Funny guy. Easy class with a very very lenient grading policy. Nice to talk to outside of class. Tells it like it is. Take him you wont regret it!!
Super easy A! U can't miss and u won't regret. Nice and funny guy, just enjoy his class and genorous grading policy(10% of lowest,30% mid,60% of highest). Just take him!
What he teaches in class is very easy. But questions and sentences of exams are not easy for international students! For native English speakers, his class is a piece of cake. Don't ask too many questions to him. He starts annoying you. He likes white people but it does't matter for grades so just keep studing. He wrote a text book and it is good.
Pay attention, you'll learn a lot more than you think.
Very tricky exams, changed policy to 33.3% each exam. Exam came from his notes, so pay very close attention and its philosophy so bring that coffee you will need it!! Overall, nice guy, but exams could be better.
Amiable, flamboyant, Rich Professor. I feel bad for not coming to all his lectures. The points he brings up in class are quite thought provoking and interesting. I had a good time learning and thinking.
He can be hilarious and often says some off the wall stuff. Really weird. He likes to talk a lot, but also says interesting things and discusses worthwhile topics. Great elective.
Changed grading policy to 33.3% for tests. This was probably one of the more interesting/ out of the norm professors I had a Baruch. For an older chap he is quite handsome and he could be quite funny. Doesn't take attendance.
Cool guy. Looks aged but acts 10+ years younger. Seems to be a good prof to blaze before
He is a really cool guy. He's pretty easy, he uses a book that he wrote. 3 exams. I barely went to class (9:30am) and I did really well. Just go the class before an exam and on exam day. If I had him later in the day I definitely would have gone to every class, he's super entertaining. Does hilarious examples and voices. Blaze before.
Having taken Earle's class a few years ago and since having graduated from Baruch, i can say that earle's class was one of the few classes that I remember. The class was inspirational, thought provoking, and extremely interesting and funny. An A is possible without too much effort as well. Enjoy!
Great professor! learned a lot.
Easy professor on attendance since he does not take attendance. Hard to understand his test questions since it seems to be more than one correct answer. Definitely taking class note, especially examples he gives.
He's a great professor! He tries REALLY hard to make his class interesting... but I still tend to fall asleep cause he has a monotone voice. Attendance is not mandatory, and tests are a bit tricky. But attend class and review your notes and you will do fine :)
Boring class but that depends on your own views. He can be funny at times though. Class usually ends about 20 mins early too. No need to attend class but if you plan to pass, you'll need to. Gives notes that sorta helps on exams. No essays which can be problematic if you don't do well on exams. Exams are difficult too but that's my opinion.
I do not understand how students find his class to be an easy A. His exams are quite confusing and it seems to always have more than one correct answer for the questions. I took this as an elective and I regret it because it was a major gpa dropper.
Okay here i'll give it to you straight. Doesn't take attendance, I slept everyday, and he ends class early. Sounds great until you realize you are probably going to get a C or lower. Tests are hard/tricky, u need to attend class, take notes, and pay attention. So I would just pick another easy professor one where u can do well.
This was the most confusing class. He does not take attendance but I still went everyday. Crazy Curves on exams. After every test I couldn't even goes what I had gotten. I some how got an A- but i'm not even sure how so I don't even know if I should recommend him or not.
Found the class fairly easy and non-stressful. Such a quirky and hilarious old man.
Prof. Earle will put you to sleep during his lectures. He is a good professor, but philosophy isn't a fun subject to everyone. He uses his own textbook, and apply new examples. His grading system was made to help the students, but the terms in the test is confusing.
The class is an absolute mess and the entire course outline is unorganized. His lectures usually have nothing to do with actual course content but instead talks about his personal life. Papers were easy to write but the exams were very difficult because of how unprepared we were for them. Best of luck to those who are planning on taking him.
Nice guy. Horrible professor. Lectures were random and unorganized. He has no clear train of thought and will go over 10 different things during class and expect you to remember it all. The worst part is that he is monotonous and speaks extremely slowly which makes it hard to stay focused. He'll ruin your GPA. Don't bother; he's almost retired.
Was a very easy A recommend taking him. I barley went to class he only has 3 test no final no he's no nothing.
He doesn't take attendance, so that basically sums up his approach. I found him interesting sometimes and other times i was bored to sleep 15 minutes into the class. His quizzes are easy. If you show up 80-90% of the time, there should be no reason for you to not get a good grade. He wrote the textbook so he covers everything.
If you show up to class and stay half-awake you'll get an A for sure. Most lectures and test materials are straight forward and common sense. Very little is from the assigned textbook, you can get by without it very easily. Subject material may seem bland but when he talks it makes things interesting.
Big class. Def go to class and listen because his tests are pulled 99% from lecture and 1% from the readings. He curves if needed. He can be boring, but if you really listen his lectures are interesting. Always offers office hours whenever you need it. Tests are worded weirdly and a lil hard. Def take notes.
He doesn't care about attendance, but if you want to do good then go to class. His tests are taken 99% from his lectures. He's very funny and relates philosophy to real life situations. The textbook isn't needed, but it doesn't hurt. He's a great professor and I would take again.
We had 1 midterm, 1 final, and 1 essay. All the questions for the tests and essay were given as well as the answers. However, he still finds something wrong even if you write the exact same thing he said. Although he's really old, doesnt have any syllabus, just talks about random stuff in class, and boring, it's a very easy class.
If you dont show up to the class, you wont pass. He makes things up on spot to talk about. Required textbook which you dont use. His lectures are boring and he tries to be funny.
I love professor Earle. He is a true academic and if you have a real interest in the coursework, his class will be great for you. He is available for after class dialogue and is very insightful. He is not flashy or gripping, but he's sincere, erudite and highly qualified in his field. Well-versed in philosophy and Faulkner. :)
