Professor Farrar is the best administration of justice professor at msjc. As long as you show up to class you will pass. He gives 3 tests plus a final, however before he gives out the test and final he reviews the material that will be on the test. He also gives a midterm paper super easy. The only way you can fail this class is if you try to fail.

I had Professor Farrar for 3 other AJ classes and he his easily the easiest AJ professor at msjc. His type of teaching makes learning fun and easy. He has so many stories because he's been apart of law enforcement for over 25 years. He is a ex chief of police for Rialto and knows what he's talking about. Just show up to class and you will pass.

I have taken several of Professor Farrar's AJ classes. He is easy to understand and makes sure that you understand what was presented. He is super funny and has lot's of great stories that help you learn. I would recommend his classes to anyone. He also reviews the material regularly, including providing handouts in some of his classes.

I have had a few classes with Professor Farrar and he is pretty cool. He has been in law enforcement for like 35 years so he has great stuff to share. He reviews a lot and in some cases he will provide a study guide. He usually gives 4 tests and a written mid-term paper. He is also super funny and I learned alot!

I was in Professor Farrar's 103 class and it was fun. We did a lot of hands on activities and learned many things. He also reviews the material so that you are better prepared for tests. His lectures are also cool and he does have a lot of stories that help you learn.

I am in Professor Farrar's AJ101 Law class. The class is pretty fast paced but you really learn. Lectures are real good and as an added bonus, he sometimes gives out Starbucks cards if you can get 100% on a test. Professor Farrar really makes class fun and I plan on taking other classes he teaches.

I am an older student just getting back into college. I have taken two of Mr. Farrar's classes (so far) and have found them to be very informative. His teaching style is thorough but fun - meaning he makes sure you get what he is talking about. He also helped me when it came to the writing assignment. Very patient and that was good for me.

I am currently in Professor Farrar's class. While the class covers a lot of information and you need to pay attention, he make sure that you understand everything. His lectures are funny and taking his class makes me want to be an officer even more. I wish he was teaching in the summer - I plan on taking more classes with him.

This was an excellent class. I never thought that law was easy to learn, but Professor Farrar made it that way. He explains topics and reviews materials, and also hands out study guides. His lectures are super funny and he challenges you to learn. Hope to take more AJ classes.

I was in Professor Farrar's Juvenile Procedures class and it was great. He really does have many stories to tell and he brings in several guest speakers. Professor Farrar also provides a study guide that helped me study, and also helped with the chapter tests. We did a few group projects but the best part is the winners sometimes got Starbucks!

I took AJ102 last semester and it was a great class. Professor Farrar is an excellent teacher who takes the time to explain things. He was very helpful by providing students with guidance on careers, and also let us know about job fairs and other recruitment efforts going on. Professor Farrar was very informative and he had awesome stories.

Professor Farrar is awesome. His lectures keep you laughing and he has many stories. I know he cares about the students because he always took time to help us fill out applications and study for interviews. He even passed out job flyers and career day stuff so we could attend these events.

This is the third class I have taken with professor Farrar and he is great. I like the way he teaches and reviews the information. I also think he does a great job relating the topics to real life calls and situations. This way, we learn how it actually applies as a police officer.

Professor Farrar is a great teacher. He always takes the time to go over information and his presentations are awesome. He make learning very interesting and fun, but he also challenges you to think about things. He does a lot of hands on learning which really helps students put things into context.

So this was my first online class and it was great. Professor Farrar organizes everything so its very easy to find things. He does the regular power-point thing, but he also does a "voice over" power-point so he walks you through the slides talking about each subject. He offers extra credit and returns your emails right away. Great class!

I just finished AJ106 and it was a great class. Professor Farrar knows his stuff. He is very informative and helps you understand the juvenile process, which is not easy. He covers a lot of information and also has interesting guest speaker from probation, children's services and the gang unit. He also gives out a study guide.

Professor Farrar has been one of the best professors I have taken at MSJC by far. If you get to know him personally he will help you pursue your career in criminal justice just as he has helped me. He is very blunt and straight forward with talking about the good and bad that comes with pursuing a career in Crim. You wont regret taking it him!

The best professor msjc has . Farrar, teaches verbally, visually, and is very hands on. He wants his students to succeed. His class is very well structured and organozed. This is my 2nd class with him, and I have to say this is THE best profess or here.

I loved taking AJ 101 with Professor Farrar. He make all the assignments clear and sends out announcements every week reminding student of the assignments due. Also he post his lecture online which is very helpful. Also he makes sure to let everyone know if you have any questions to contact him. He is a great teacher.

Professor Farrar's online classes are the best yet. Its almost like you are really in class. He is very organized and provides you with everything you need to pass the class.

Mr. Farrar is very easy going as long as you study on the study guides you will pass your exams. Almost all the questions are in the order of the study guide for the exams and he does not assign homework in his face to face classes. He gives many opportunities for extra credit too.

Absolutely enjoyed every second of his class. His class is fairly easy but he makes every lecture fun and interesting . Learned tons and wish he could be my professor forever. You only need the book if you want to learn more but honestly it is not necessary you learn a lot with just his lectures.

This teacher is amazing. The class is simple enough to where you don't have homework, but you need to read the chapter! 3-4 DBs, a quiz every week, a few tests and one paper. His lectures are awesome. He has an audio lecture straight from the PowerPoint for every chapter. You can listen to it while youre doing anything. I listen to it every day.

Online classes - drop the mic! It's like being in class - really. Many reminders, and makes things very clear.

What a great guy and teacher! Really cares about his students. The coarse mainly consists of tests, with ALL of the info clearly outlines in his powerpoints, and the textbook. There are also 3-4 discussions, but aren't graded, and a good chance to speak your mind without getting penalized for it (finally). Would recommend.

Professor Farrar is an awesome teacher. He cares about the students and he makes even the most difficult subjects easier to understand. His lectures are funny and we do a lot of hands on learning. He also makes himself available between classes and other times if you need help.

This class restored my faith in online classes, I was very hesitant in taking online classes again after terrible experiences. This class was one of my favorite classes I've taken. He does lectures online which are AMAZING they make things super easy to understand. There are extra credit opportunities for major points, but you won't need them.

I was not sure about taking a class that seemed so hard but Professor Farrar made the class easy for me to understand. His lectures are informative and he puts everything on Canvas that you need. He also does a review before each exam which helps you work through those topics that a more difficult to understand. Great Professor!

He is such a good professor! He teaches in a very interesting way, that keeps students engaged. There's several tests, but if you do the study guide you'll pass! Like many teachers, there is a project due towards the end of the semester. Other than those assignments, the lectures are very fun!

Prof. Farrar is the best. If you are considering a career in law enforcement it is imperative you take some of his classes. His knowledge and teaching style is AMAZING.

To begin with he was super super clear! Which is awesome with teachers. The only thing to do for his class is review the PowerPoint lecture then take a quiz. That was it nothing else. Plus like 3 discussion boards throughout the semester which was great. There are 3 exams but they are legit the same questions from the quizzes. Oh & 1 midterm.

Out of my 3 years at MSJC, Farrar has been the best professor. Ive never had a professor as awesome as he is... he is so hilarious and he has so many cool cop stories.

He was by far the best professor I have had this whole semester. He was very understanding that were all in a tough spot and even though he didnt have to, he made his presence known that if we needed anything he was always there. His encouragement and good attitude made his class enjoyable and something to look forward to!

Farrar is definitely the best! showing up isnt necessarily mandatory but if you have good attendance he might round your grade up at the end of the semester. lots of good stories about his time in law enforcement. super nice and funny. LOTS of extra credit available too

Really nice guy who cares about his students. Very straightforward grading. 1 DB and 1 quiz per week with lots of study material provided. Absolutely take this class if you want to learn about the history of and modern workings of law enforcement.

Absolute goat, this was one of my favorite classes because of the material and the laid-back nature of professor Farrar. He gives one discussion board with a quiz each week which is easy and a test every 6-7 weeks. We two larger assignments but they're rather easy. If you have to take AJ 102, take him!

AJ 102 was a great class! Professor Farrar is very simple and you learn so many things. Every assignment is useful and worth it, he doesn't just give busy work. There is weekly discussions that are very interesting and more just for your opinion and to see others as well. He puts lectures and in word format so you can pass the quizzes. :)

Professor Farrar is a very nice and chill professor. He's not a tough grader and had 2 papers total in one semester + weekly discussion and quizzes. As long as you participate and do your homework, you'll get A no problem.

Professor Farrar is an amazing professor and should be an example for any online professor. He always checks in with students who haven't submitted assignments yet and his tests are directly from the PPT. I've already had him for 3 different classes and he's been fantastic in each of them, if you need an easy online class, he's the professor.

This professor was absolutely amazing, and gave clear instructions for each assignment while providing interesting and thoughtful lectures that are engaging. He provides personal feedback on all assignments! Would love to retake it and go deeper into each assignment. I was super busy this semester with two jobs and full time college.

This was one of the best classes I've taken! I would take any of his classes again in a heartbeat! Each week consisted of a discussion board, quiz, and an assessment based on the subject of the week. Super easy and straight forward. He was super helpful, a fast grader, and always gives positive feed back! Take the class.

He is very passionate about his line of work as well as his role as a Professor. He gives great lectures weekly, I didn't even need my textbook. Professor Farrar is awesome and his class is very straightforward! His Intro to Criminal Justice course consists of a weekly quiz(15 questions & answers are straight from book), discussion board(5 sentences for full credit), and an exercise(1-2 pages). He is easily accessible, offers extra credit, and is lenient with deadlines(just communicate).

I have taken 4 classes by Professor Farrar and gotten good grades in all. Very simple class, consists of the same assignment set up weekly and actually entertaining content. I did not need a textbook for any of the classes.
