Easy teacher. Tests exactly what he teaches and teaches exactly what is on the test. Likes to spend the first 15 mins of every class talking about something completely unrelated to course. Usually beer.

This teacher makes learning a pleasure! Never a dull moment in his class. Teaches what students need to get out of the course very well. Always ready to help.

All tests are essay and it isn't easy in the sense that you know exactly what you should study. Although he is very laid back, funny, and grades on a huge curve. Doesn't take breaks and some times it was hard to stay awake for the two hour class.

BORING?! Hardly! He's my #1 prof of all time. Very smart, very entertaining. Essay Test? Yes, but what, You're not here to learn? Highly recommended!

As long as you take notes and look them over you'll do fine. Very clear on the information he will test over and funny too!

Very clear with the material and presents it great. He teaches a boring class in a funny manner, he makes sure nobody gets bored. Practically tells you what will be on the exams, definitely an all around great guy.

Entertaining as a teacher, and you know exactly what to expect on tests. An easy A if you pay attention and study, or an easy B if you pay half attention and don't try hard. A C if you're retarded or something

Very funny teacher. Gets off the subject a lot. Only 33 multiple choice questions on every test out of 30 points so you get to miss 3 questions for free however I never knew what to study for the tests.

Very smart, loves teaching, makes the class fun. You will learn the material and he tells plenty of funny stories that relates to it so easier to remember. I took one more econ class (not needed) just to have another class with this guy!

I had him for History 118 and Macroeconomics. In history you really have to show up for the class to keep up but the materials he covers are outstanding. Very easygoing and laid back, the man knows his info. Definitely recomend taking him for both History and Econ

What can you say about an aspiring comedy actor turned teacher? Never cracked the book. Easy A if you take notes off the board. His extremely anti-republican sentinments become a bit tedious if you don't entirely agree with his daily rants. Simply explained lecture, fun guy. Overall good.

This guy is funny. He talks about beer every day. However, he still explains things pretty clearly and gets the class ready for the tests. He is extremely knowledgeable, and he comes to class without any materials and can teach a whole lesson from memory. Very impressive.

He is a god among teachers. He doesn't have a attendence policy and I attended every class period I could. He was the best teacher that I've had at ICC. I highly recommend him for easiness and learning something about economics.

I have had him for 3 classes and passed all of them easily with a minimal bit of work. Definitly enjoys his work. Also he is my favorite teacher ever. Very funny and will keep you interested.

This guy is awesome! His stories are the best, and he always has the time for lessons as well. I love hearing a teacher who isn't afraid to drop the occasional, well more than occasional cuss word, it really brings the class to a more personal level...and u feel like he's just a nomral person, who finally gets it.

Econ is tough and Feipel is a good teacher, but his tests speak a different language than his lectures.He knows the material is hard and will do much to try and help you out.I didn't do very well in the class, but he makes Econ fun and relates to the real world. I have found that I use Econ more in the real world than in class.The man loves Scotch!

Pretty good teacher, makes economics fun and transfers that to the real world, but sometimes I wondered if I was really learning what I was suppose to: Are republicans the root of all evil.

He is very interesting but I found that I had to get used to his sense of humor and personality. He wrote everything out on the chalk board that we needed to know, practially gave us the questions before the test and let us prewrite our essay answers and use them during the test.

There is a reason there is a facebook club titled "Bill Feipel is God." he is one of the few teachers that make you think outsider of the norm. He is hillarious and at the same time you learn a lot. You might not like him if you are a conservative though.

For the first three tests I studied and got A's. For the last three, I didn't and got B's. It's an easy class and you don't need the book, just pay attention. He gives you all the notes you need in a packet on the first day of class. Some of his rants are quite hilarious.

This guy is great, he actually explains econ in terms that you will actually understand. He is also halarious at times. That being said, his tests are still sometimes difficlut, and I was always a little confused on what was the best way to study for them. Still though, you will never be bored in this class, better than the other Econ teachers.

This class was a decent amount of work, but not too hard. My advice is to go to class and take really good notes...then for the take home tests (3 out of 5 were) write as much as you can. Also, buy and use the outlines available. They'll help give the lecture a bit of structure. Feipel is a good guy and an entertaining lecturer take his classes!

This guy is funny,funny,funny! He is a great teacher! He puts ECON is dummy terms for you to understand. His stories are gut-busters at times, but he is serious about what he teaches. If you pay attention to the lectures and take great notes you will pass his class.

I never thought econ could be so entertaining. He has a very cynical and dry humor. I loved all his stories, and sometimes he even successfully related some of them to what we were talking about in class. I was scared to take econ, but he made it ok! Great professor.

Admitedly at first, I didn't think much of him due to his tendency to digress into non-curriculum discussion in class. I soon found, however, that this was to keep students from tuning out of the lecture. His style is to teach understanding and comprehension rather than memorization of basic facts. Very good teacher, highly recommended.

His class can be difficult but if you do the reading and pay attention in class you'll do fine. If you have questions he is very helpful. He is also hilarious. Don't just take the class for a blow off coarse though it is probably much easier if you are interested in the subject.

Ahh, Feipelnomics! But seriously, not only will you learn about economics by taking this class, you will also learn about how to think about what's going on in the world of money, and who is cheating who. A very interesting, thoughtful, and highly recommended class/instructor.

To get a good grade, you must take REALLY good notes. He lets you make a "cheat sheet" before the test and you can use it during the test. All tests are essay.

I took 112 and am now taking 111 w/ him.He makes you work but its a fun class. If you are expecting it to be as easy as your high school history classes it wont be.His tests are essay & you have to take your own notes from lecture and what he writes on the board.If you aren't ready for a true college class then this probably isn't for you.

Hilarious guy...But the material is difficult to understand..duh! its econ! but i think he does his best to help students to understand it. Although his tests are difficult, he is probably one of the smartest people I've ever heard and is the econ teacher ill be taking again next semester

I hated this class, but loved Feipel. Hes so into economics, that it's hard to understand him when you just dont care at all about the subject. He gives you a chance for Extra Credit which counts for one test grade. Hated econ, but if I had to take another Econ class, I'd take him.

A fantastic instructor!! He uses humor and stories to explain the subject. His tests are hard, but he teaches you to think and not remember useless information.

Brillant Guy!! He is kinda funny too! There is no homework. All you do in his class are take notes. You have 4 tests throughout the semester and all you do is write basically everything that you can remember. You get one 8x10 paper to cram stuff on to use on the test. Its pretty easy if you use that cheat sheet. Would recommend!

He rocks! If you are lazy, dont take this class. His notes of incomprehensible. You must rely on yourself to take good notes. He speaks fast (when he is talking about the subject), so beware of that. He goes off on rants a lot, but he is so funny! He tries to keep his students attention. He can be harsh and opinionated; don't take it personally.

what a cool teacher! he is extremely helpful all you have to do is ask. I also took his macro-econ class which was just as easy. listen to his lectures or study at home and your getting a decent grade!

Prof. Feipel makes Ecan a little easier. The text book is not needed unless you are having difficulty. With the book get online access to other very helpful resources. You can buy the book online also. Only negative is that his storytelling can get a little over excessive. Rushed the last 2 weeks to get in all material.

He made me realize that I have ADD because my parents smoked way too much pot in the 70's.. He makes me smile:)

I have Feipel for my Microeconomics class, and I have to say this: what a wonderful surprise. The man definitely has a passion for what he teaches, and he honestly reminds me of a skinny George Carlin. Loves his scotch, his method of teaching makes things very easy to understand. His impression of stupid consumers (his wife) is unparalleled.

I took him for 110 and 111 he was so good. He only tests over the material he lectures on and he is very humerus so it makes learning about the difficult subject extremely fun. The test are analytical so know "why" too. I did very well classes despite having no experience in the subject. Hes kinda hot for and older bald guy! no textbook!

Bill Feipel is one amazing professor! He REALLY knows his stuff! Brilliant! While he may go off topic, I hardly think it's excessive as some have said. Just enough for some relief in a very long class. It is clear that he teaches a subject he cares about with passion and interest. I enjoy the class and look forward to it, have learned much.

Took the first world civ with him. Go to lectures if you are not a history fan. Explaines things very well. very entertaining man also. tells you what is going be on the exam (yes, it is essay format)but you already know what your going to cover. I have taken this teacher for two classes at ICC and then many years later again at Eureka. One of the most knowledgeable people you will ever come across and I urge you to listen to his lectures. He's an old school teacher so most of his teaching is lecture-based so do not skip class. However I find him sincere and honest and absolutely awesome.
