boring
Wanna to get a D. Take this class. TOOO bad.
The worst professor I ever had at Baruch. Over 50% failed midterm. He said that nobody will fail. Little help with final, essay part, but multiple choice questions really hard and weight more. Finance major, this class is not requiment. Do not take him!!!
He is not that bad. During semester he is kind of unclear about your final grade, but finally he gives a great curve. Nobody fail. It is possible o get good grade, just study handouts and notes. Book is not that important. I've got an A. Don't be scared.
Multiple choice very difficult. Essay easy. He is better that the other prof at Baruch, but not at all great.
So boring to listen to him.His curve is OK, nothing crazy I'd say about 10 points. He has to curve or everyone would get D's. I say the mult choice was easier than the essays if you read the book because it explains things better than he does.
Easy grader, went over essay questions right before exam was given. Boring lectures, but then it was Summer at 10pm. Easily moved off topic
EXTREMELY BORING!!!!=>+HARD exams=HORRIBLE GRADE=>do not take
Doesn't have a clue 'bout how to teach:[ Gives hard exams, which include MEMORIZING around 10 pages of handouts + 8 chapters from the book + ur notes if u have any. Quite hard final. Says he'll curve u & u dont have to worry=> B.S. Avoid @ all costs
Lectures are extremely boring and follow no direction. He thinks very highly of himself. Does not care about grades and school politics. Starts out grades at B-. Overall waste of time unless you really interested in topic.
wow, so boring after him i think i can get through any boring prof. Overall hard exams, don't know how 2 teach at all. No notes in class because very hard 2 follow. Expects students 2 b there at exactly the minute class starts and no later+lets students out late by at least 15min-25min DON'T TAKE
Promises to help students out with curving. Doesn't happen. Encourages you to answer the challenging essay questions on exams and then grades harshly. Very repetitve. Has no control over class.
Don't take! Definitely read book well despite what he says. Loves tangents where he boasts about himself. Boring lectures and I learned nothing except that someone offered him a villa in Syria once & how his students like him. Where are these students? not in this class!
Unless Economics is your major, do not take him. The professor is not well organized in class and the tests are hard compared to what gets covered in class. Even though sometimes his ego gets in the way, he does know what he is talking about (most of the time).
Egotistical blowhard! Thinks his way is the best and only way and that he is god's gift to the world of academics! Try someone else.
He informed us most of the questions that were coming in the exams. Curved the results. I didn't do well at all in both exams still he gave me a B. What else can we ask from a professor. He is good, students just need to pay attention to his instructions.
this prof is so BORING its not even funny! if you want to kill ur GPA then go right ahead take this prof! Very hard to understand and has attitude towards you! FINAL WAS SO HARD! didn't learn anything throughout the semester! NO, NO and NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO again NO NO NO and NOOOOOOOOOO
His lectures are horrible ... damn boring .. He would give you bunch of questions that he says WOULD PROBABLY appear on the midterm and final, the questions turn out to be totally different tho. He's the worst professor i've ever taken. questions on his midterm are totally not related to the materials from the boooK.You should retire sooner!!
Questions on midterm and final were given out @ the beginning of the semester. I have to admit, he is a bit boring but you'll learn a lot if you pay attn. Don't expect an A if you don't read or attempt to follow his lectures. He emphasizes on the key points several times, make sure you jot it down.
his class is not hard if u pay attention, no a easy A class, but it is fair, people deserve wat they get.
Bad lecturer. He pretended to do us a favor by telling how the exam is gonna be like but made it the other way around. Multiple choice questions are memory testing( like names of economists or theories) or comprehension testing about the topics that he "never" mention becoz he spend too much time on unrelevant & useless topics. In brief, STAY AWAY!
The worst prof in my life. I've gone to school in different countries, but believe me, he is a waste of time and just gives you confusion and frustration. He yelled at us when he found someone recording his lecture just because his explanation was so not ordery and confusing. Talk to anyone who took his course. They say the same as me.
worst techer I have ever had! always complaining 2 credits are not enough for eco9709, but came without preparation. worst grader, bad lecture, bad temper! Avoid him anyway!
He is smart, but being a smart man doesn't mean that he knows how to teach. In first class, he was complaining about the time constraint of 2 credits. However, he spent an hour explaing that damn couse syllabus. I don't mind if u wouldn't have told me the Qs. One thing I ask please teach. There were a lot of stuff u never mentioned on tha exam
Pompous, unprepared. Doesn't teach what you need to know for exams. Collected course evaluations and read them while giving final. Will not show you your exams unless you make an appt. so you have no idea how you're getting graded. Suspicious grading system, you may end up with a B despite getting an A- on the mid. and doing well on the final.
did not use powerpoint, repeated same things several times, very boring
Boring and old 'doctor'. Just talk in class and seldom write on the board.
he's cool. funny but cool. if you trust him and show up you'll do fine
I am not even going to try to be vague. He give you one letter grade curve, his teaching style is not intense at all, ofcourse you cannot abuse the attendence policy but he is reasoneable, he seems to be connected and his teachings will really enhance your knowledge. After all that, he is a kool guy.
Come on people are you serious. I think he is a good professor. Maybe he was bad in the past. He gives curve, and if you trust him like stated above then you should do good. There is no way you can fail if you try. That's all he wants you to do Try your best. The past student must of been some lazy and slow. I guess I'll see.
Passionate about the subject and brings a lot of other models of thought to the study of economics. He's Cool!!
He’s an engaging professor and relates the complexity of economics to real life situations. He says that he’ll curve your grade, and if you put forth the effort he will reward you. As he states, “Trust him” .He’s cool! Just don’t mention anything about tomatoes to him, “Trust me” ;-)
He is a great professor. All he wants you to do is learn and try your very best to get grade. Even if you get a bad great in the mid-term but are sincere, he will help you out with a curve. He's very passionate about his course. If you respect him, he will make the course fun and you will pass with a good grade (higher then you deserve). Cool Dude.
This professor is really cool if you do what you have to do then you'll be okay. He's really easy to talk to so if you have any issues with the material he'll help you. If you do bad on an exam and talk to him he'll help you with a curve.
not quite clear in lecture; appears to be a nice guy but sometimes annoyed by different opinions; gives out some of the questions before exam but that doesn't mean he is easy in grading
he might seem a bit hard but as long as you attend class you can get an easy A.his exams draw on notes-only 2 of them.
Great professor; excellent teaching skills. You will walk out of the course with a clear understanding of money and banking. Gives real life examples to explain complex concepts. Very lenient with grading, helps out with a curve if the effort is put in. overall he is cool.
Very Cool Professor! A lot of fun and very helpful! You learn a lot in his class!
Boring full of himself. the worst!
Easy A for me atleast, just take notes and thats wut the test is on
Useless. He thinks he craps gold. Old guy indeed full of it. thinks he's god sent. arrogant, talks weird, explains material in a weird way. so bad at teaching. exams are harder than notes. i would not take him again under any situation. he simply is not the teacher you want to get stuck with ther a few months. talks all day long abt how other prof
A very scary doctor. He always talks about his life experiences in class. Never write any notes on the blackboard. Easily to fall in sleep in his class. He doesn't take attendence, but he remembers you in his head. Don't be late.
He was easy for Eco3220. I got an A. He talks a lot and sometimes deviates from the topic. But eventually comes back to the lessons. It is essential that students attend his class since his exams are based on his lectures (90%). Text book is useless, go to the library to read the few pages that he will assign (100). Exmas easy, 30 mcqs & 2 essays.
He really wastes students' time. He quickly shifts from a subject matter towards his personal life experience. Very little economics being discussed in his classroom but rather lots of irrelevant topics. Easy? - YES; Useful? - not so much. Good luck learning.
Yes he is useless. So disappointed cuz i thought he is good professor who could teach us something. But he always talks about stupid stories for his life, and keep repeatin them. He talks too much and always shift from diff topics. Dont need textbook, exam comes directly from notes. NO hw, 2 exams 50% each. Not recommand.
Just read the previous comments. USELESS is the perfect word. Don't waste your time. His tests aren't easy and he barely teaches anything useful. Dunno how hes still teaching
Intellectual guy but needs to work on expressing his thoughts in more comprehensible way. Doesn't write anything on board much and is not clear in his lectures. I learned a lot in class, but it was a struggle to understand everything he said w/o him repeating it several times. Wish he would not waste time on voting and tangents if he complains abou
He tends to go off on tangents A LOT. Also doesn't like opinions that doesn't concur with his. Very smart guy, but hard to understand at times. Very helpful if you are having troubles in class - he will help you as much as he can. 2 tests, essays and MC. Not hard, but need to take good class notes. Textbook is USELESS. Don't even bother buying it!
One of the more intellectual professors at Baruch with great professional experience to boot. Offers keen insight into the financial world as it is now and provides historic examples that help us understand what we're going through now. You must stay on top of your note taking in this class as that is the crux of the exams. Overall great professor.
AGAIN, USELESS! No one knew what he was talking about in class for the entire summer! Only 2 tests. DONT EVER BELIEVE WHAT HE SAYS till he actually finalizes the formats of his tests. He loves to change things again and again... Also, he has another job so be careful since he doesnt care most of the time!!!!
Great guy if you are truly interested in ECO. He doesn't necessarily stick to the syllabus but his subject matter is interesting. Class can get frustrating because he goes off on wild tangents but you will walk away from this class with a lot more than what you started with. This class should only be taken by those interested in ECO.
He is somehow good. I think I learned, but don't remember what because he tends to go off the subject a lot and uses the same example over and over. Overall good.
A good prof. If you are not an American don't take his classes because you won't understand
Worst prof I've ever had. Likes to tell everyone that he is the best prof out there and how lucky we are to have him. He loses track of the lessons, while teaching. He yammers on and on for 3 hours. I didn't learn a damn thing. Waste of time and money. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE!
This guy is more interested in talking about his fiancé and her house in Florida. Gives atleast 80 pages to read for a 2 page assignment and there are 4 such assignments along with a 400 pages book he uses to ask multiple choices on the final. This guy has no mercy on his students. Too much work.
I think this professor has a problem. We got him because previous professor had surgery and couldnt come to class anymore. but henry is nuts. he threatens people in class. burn, shoot, even hang. hes really boring and all he talks about is lemons.. dont take him.
Attendance is mandatory. If you're late more than 1 minute, he won't let you in. His "lectures" are really hour-long incoherent ramblings without even the slightest semblance of relevancy. I earnestly advise that you don't take any classes with Prof. Henry, both for your sanity, and your GPA.
i honestly think dr henry isnt as bad of a teacher that every one thinks. aside from the strict rule of being late, eating and sleeping in class, he is a good professor that wants his students to understand the materials. hes teachings may seem repetitive but it would only help the students to understand and remember it when it comes to the test:)
Waste of time. He will repeat the same thing for an hour and a half. He takes a lot of time reinforcing ridiculous rules, just because he needs to spend time. His hard exams has "nothing" to do with his boring classes. It looks like he hate students; I think he has a problem. How can "Baruch" have this kind of professor? This is incredible.
He's not as bad as everyone is saying he is. His lectures may get boring at times but he does go over the course material clearly. Nice guy and cracks jokes here and there. Don't be late or he'll lock you out (or try to I guess).
Easy way to pass his class is read the chapter before going into class. If you don't do that, you will fall asleep and he will personally wake you up. The test is okay, just study the textbook.
Intelligent, nice, humorous professor. Always willing to help if students need assistance. Offers plenty of office hours. Understanding / realistic w/ learning objectives. Doesn't expect us to know everything about macro for a 2 credit winter course. Gave us a ton of hints on the Midterm and Final.
He is definitely one of the nicest professor in Baruch. Treats students with respect most of the time although he tend to lose his patience with some rude/arrogant students. He is very helpful during/outside the class and offers extra office hours. Exams are straight from his lecture and classroom examples.
Great Professor, who cares about his students. Understands the big picture. Solid lecturer, with real world examples. I hope he teaches more Finance classes in the future. Very available to help students after class. Econ is a difficult subject but Prof. Henry makes it enjoyable.
He replaced my original macro economics teacher due to illness. He was rude and much tougher on the students. He is not a reasonable person. After negativley affecting the class average by more than 10%, he did not offer any recognizable curve. Students that recieved within .01 of another number were not rounded up or given any sort of benefit.
It's basically 2 classes at the same time. Recitation teacher teaches something completely different (textbook). While Henry teaches real life applications. He curves tests if the class avg is in the 60's (and they are). Great class if you're naturally smart.
Class and recitation are completely different. Teaches graduate level material (Economic Theory) rather than introductory level macro-economics. Half the exam are based on the lecture and the other half recitation. He essentially makes recitation mandatory because he doesn't teach the book at all - only recitation covers it.
Terrible class!!!!!!!!!!!Do not take this professor! The most useless person I know. His lectures are all based on his own theories, not on a textookThe class is 4 exam. Final is cumulative.
THE WORST. Not clear at all. Doesn't even know what he's talking about himself.
This professor's teaches material that you can not find in the textbook and it does not coincide with any material learned in recitation. Tests are hard. He pretty much makes an easy subject really hard. Stay away if you care about your GPA.
Does not teach from book, only recitation does. Incomprehensible lectures. Teaches advanced topics, such as economic theories based off his own beliefs, ignores textbook. Stated explicitly that the tests are based off what he teaches and not the book, book still mandatory for rec and hw. Will kill your gpa and will to learn/graduate. Avoid!
Incomprehensible. He rambles for an hour and a half, but uses absolutely no visual aid. No slides, no lecture notes, no exam review sheets, no nothing. Just talks about confusing topics (if you have no background in the subject), and expects you to take notes and understand. Exams are based more on this than on the textbook material. Stay away.
I don't understand why people say he teaches advanced topics. He just rambles on about random economic theories and talks about when he was young. Half of the class is this and the other half is the real macroeconomic stuff for the recitation. The recitation part was accelerated and was not thoroughly taught. I got a B
I like Dr. Henry's class even though i had to work my a** off to understand the material. It's like having 2 classes at once. YOu must take eco seriously and somewhat like it to do well in his class. Otherwise just attend the review day, he goes over all the questions on the exam....who would complain about that?????
He is the best if you have some background in Economics. He teaches in a monotone and there are no power points so sometimes it's a bit boring, but you know what he knows that and that's why he shares his experience and stories. He is a real teacher, if you have him record his lectures and listen to them and take good notes and you will be fine.BOL
This guy doesn't teach ANYTHING. If you are taking him, just record and pay attention to the review days because he literally gives you all the answers on the exams. Easy class but you won't learn anything at all.
This class was a mess in the beginning. Supposed to have one prof, came into class with a different prof, then that one left & Dr Henry came. We didn't have much time to do much, but over all he is a forgiving professor. As long as you pay attention to the lectures & read the handouts, you should be ok on the tests. No textbook
There are words which describe him and his lectures precisely: useless, incomprehensible, boring. After I took a class with him I realized I learned nothing about macroeconomics, and I regret about that. He basically forces you to memorize stuff that has nothing to do with macroeconomics, and all exams consist of this material.
DO NOT TAKE. He's so unbelievably boring, drones on and on. He tries to be funny but fails. Attendance is mandatory but everyone ends up cutting his class. I lost brain cells by sitting through his lectures. He comes up with his own theories, impossible to actually learn everything when he drones off topic all the time.
No textbook, mandatory attendance, pure lecture, he doesn't like questions. Very good knowledge level of subject, however he get goes off on tangents that are unrelated. He often goes over class time to complete material, but you still don't feel like you learned much.
It's the 1st week of the semester and his lectures are very BORING.IDK if I can stay awake for next 3mos. I'm so regret it that I registered for his class. The worst part is that this semester,he's the ONLY one that teaching ECO 4201. This is NOT FAIR & NOT RIGHT to students. Baruch college should give students other options to choose from.
Attendance is mandatory(4x)I think.Course grade is divided into 3 parts. Writing assignments(4), midterm &final. If you're gonna be late for this class, take an absent(his own rule)ridiculous. Other profs would encourage students to come to class even when they're late. I suggest if you can take other professors for class then take them.
Lectures the same thing over and over. Gives you totally useless investing advices. Class is a torture because he talks repeatedly about his personal story
when people here say that the lectures are all same they really mean it, literally. He often forgets what he talked about in previous class and starts talking on the exact same topic again! at the end of the semester you will feel like you learned nothing. topics covered are very limited and mostly are based on his opinion or view.
Class is extremely boring!! However, it is pretty easy. If you are a good writer and read his handouts and manuscript class should be an easy A. The exams come straight from the handouts and manuscripts and he is very lenient when grading writing assignments. There is no stress in class and he's very helpful if you ask him questions.
He is very helpful and caring. He tells the class some problems that will be on the exam and gives up to 30 extra credits for the exam. Nearly everyone got A in all papers. I got an A in his class without much studying.
i took his 4000 level class first then his 3000 level class basically he's teaching the same material for both classes. so if you did well in one then there shouldn't be any problem for you in the other.
OMG incredibly boring & longwinded! Tells the same stories word 4 word to illustrate the same point covered 5x in 5 classes b4 Though mild mannered is easily annoyed. Still easy course to pass if you know your macro (or not). Sift through the fat & junk and one can find pearls of wisdom but those a few and far between, sure bet to pass the course.
Really, just avoid this professor. He is an old man who is just not able to teach anymore. Forgets what he has taught in previous classes, gets mean/nice depending on his personal mood. Talks about useless personal stories rather than teaching. I cannot think of a good thing to say about him. Not much work, but relatively tough exams.
Best professor I ever had in my long career. Awesome and extremely knowledgeable .Sincerely OUTSTANDING PROFESSOR AND BETTER HUMAN BEING. I took this professor last fall 2013 and he was very strict with lecture. Most of his exam are base on the text he refers to you. Please you have to read it and you will succeed for sure. Go to class !
One of the best eco profs at baruch. I dont get why student complain about him. He gives every question during the lectures if you listen to him carefully and take good notes. I recorded every lecture and listen to them before the test. Best way to get an A from this class. TAKE HIM
Seriously one of the best econ professors I've ever had. No textbook. Material comes from his handouts and lectures. If you don't understand something go to his office and he will sit with you as long as it takes for you to get it. You'll definitely learn a lot. Make sure you take good notes and don't drift off during lectures and you'll do well.
Wonderful professor. He knows his stuff (was head of treasury for the state of PA, headed firms with net worths in the billions, predicted the crisis in '08) and how to communicate to the class. Very funny and charismatic. Two tests, no textbook. But, if you're late then he gets really upset, I think I saw him pop a blood vessel once, so don't.
Decent class overall. Three writing assignments (required), one extra credit writing assignment (definitely do it), midterm, and final. He likes tooting his own horn a lot about the financial crisis (among other things), but his lectures are informative (when he doesn't give the same one 3x in a row). Not an easy A, but not a hard one either.
Class is extremely boring However, it is pretty easy, If you are a good writer and read his handouts and manuscript class should be an easy A. both exams come straight from the handouts and manuscripts and by the way he is very lenient when grading writing assignments. There is no stress in class and he's very helpful if you ask him questions.
spring '16. curved class. attendance mandatory. midterm, final, 3 essay hw. midterm 70% mc, 30% draw graphs(not hard, memorize). final100% mc. both are fairly easy but u must really study all handouts. key to big part of the final(cumulative) is to know material from midterm. essays are easy. good guy, he wants u to do good but boring class.
This guy knows his field and very passionate about it. He also thinks that he is a genius. But class is not a lot of work overall. Just study all his handouts and memorize it. No textbook necessary, I purchased a book that we used once for one writing assignment.
One of the better choices for professors teaching economics. Two multiple choice exams with two papers. Study his handouts and what he says in class and you will do well. But do not come in late!!
Amazing professor. He's old so he repeats himself a lot, but he's just so nice that there is no way you could be mad at him for it. Midterm and final are MC but they are a little tough. I recorded the lectures and just made notes in my book of when he was saying something important. You are going to need to listen in class and go to the review sesh
No homework, 1 midterm, 1 final. The course goes well when he comes to class with prepared lectures. However, about a quarter of the way through he just quit and we didn't learn much. It's not a tough course, but it can get boring fast.
Summer 17: Dr. Henry's class was easy: a midterm(30%), a final(slightly cumulative)(30%), two 4-page writing assignments based on reading(15% each), and 10% for participation. Don't cut classes or come late as he is really upset about it. He's old, and can't really teach anymore. Repeats personal stories, and I didn't learn much. But, easy to pass.
Just read his notes and you will be fine.
This class during fall semester was very easy. Expect quizes, which are very easy to pass and will bust your grade. You don't even have to study for those, believe me. The midterm is based in his lectures and few hangouts. 30% of the midterm is based on graphs, which you can easily remember. The final is cumulative but not hard either. No homework.
Hilarious professor. He makes the class enjoyable with his jokes. Class is easy overall. Online quizzes are a grade booster and are worth 30%. Midterm and final are 30% each. No homework. As long as you read the handouts he assigns you will do fine. I would definitely take again.
Won't learn a thing, but read so much material. Didn't put much effort and still did pretty well. Midterm and final, plus 9 quizzes (a few in class and some online.) Lectures are a bore, just read his handouts and you'll do fine.
what he teaches in class is very different from the exam questions. read his handouts and memorize them, you'll pass the class. his lectures are boring and not clear enough. he keeps repeating his dialogues again and again and again and ....
A genuinely good man. He repeats himself often and his exams are somewhat tricky, but if you read and understand his handouts, it will be all good.
He's great. Take good notes, master the handouts and graphs.
The positives are that we had no quizzes or homework. The negatives are that you dont feel your learning much as he tells s lot of personal non economics related stories then his review tells you to read the textbook about topics not covered. Just felt class was not as useful as it should be and as its costing me. Disappointed.
I received an A for the class but only because theres a huge curve. His tests are very hard mostly because there are things in it that he told us not to study or never taught. He must recycle his exams. Anyway wish there was more content in the class since the topics are interesting. Also he doesnt take attendance which is a bonus.
this professor is too old to teach. You think his dad's jokes will help you pass the class? wait until you see your grade then those laughs will turn into tears. Avoid him at any cost. All he does is talks about random stories. Don't except an A unless he likes you. He loves class clowns so if that's what you wanna go for then be my guest.
where to begin.. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I learned NOTHING in this class I'm so upset. This professor shouldn't even be allowed to teach.I feel like i got scammed plus he lowered my GPA and i have no idea what i was graded on. some people got F on midterm and ended up with A's when other got B end ended up with D. He has student preferences. AVOID
Very chill Professor. Only graded by mid term, final, and a few papers which no one gets under a 90%. Will you learn a lot? No. Will this class boost your GPA? absolutely. Go for it. Hes super nice and laid back which is a nice change of pace.
Very boring and repetitive, but he knows his stuff. If you read the material and take good notes in class, you will do well.
He tells a lot of personal stories during class and doesn't really teach much. His exams are somewhat difficult, but if you pay attention (hard because his class is so boring) and read his handouts, than you'll be able to at least pull off a B. If you want an A in this class, you will definitely need to work for it.
What a bad professor Dr Henry is. Since we transitioned to online learning due to COVID, he has gotten worse. Does absolutely nothing and puts things on the exam that he never discussed in class, nor in the handouts. He'd rather ramble about the Pirates than teach and even when he does teach it's basically things you learned in intro to macro.
he never gives feedback on grades, I had the same answers with my friend for midterm and final exams, but we got different grades. He curved for only a few people. GPA killer.
Doesn't respond to student emails, doesn't post handouts until the week before an exam, reuses lectures from previous semesters, unclear grading criteria (especially for the writing assignment), exams contain very specific references from his lectures, which are very long, boring, and is just him talking the whole time.
This was actually an easy summer class with very little work. All you need to do is listen to the lecture recordings and read a few articles (don't bother buying the book), write a response essay, and answer a few essay question as well as draw some graphs. Prof rambles a lot, so replay a few times to make sure you fully get his key points.
Avoid at all costs. GPA Killer. Does not teach, rambles constantly seems to only want to talk about covid and vaccines. No feedback on grades, does not know how to use technology, very bad for online class. Posts handouts few days before test. Syllabus not specific, class is completely based on his lectures does not use the textbook.
His lectures have NO structure because he doesn't follow the syllabus. He'd ramble about NON-RELEVANT content for 30 - 40 mins literally every lecture, then leave no time for the actual course material. He would talk about the same content for more than 3 lectures and then cram in a bunch of new content 2 days before an exam. I want my tuition back
If you like economic and willing to form your own set of theories, take him. You need some passion and interest in modern monetary theory, he definitely lights up my interest in the recent fed's fiscal policy and predicts where the eco is going. Again, he teach his theory, if you like the "outdated textbook", and are a passive learner, do not take
Terrible lectures and the final is almost nothing related to what he talked about in the class.
If you watch and listen to the lectures, you will easily get an A. The hard part is having the focus and discipline to review them. Once you do so, you'll guarantee yourself an A.
Monetary Economics is a complex subject. No matter who you take you have to do your part to genuinely understand what they are talking about. My experience with Dr. Henry was amazing. Take his class if you are passionate about Eco/Fin and if you actually want to learn. As an Economics major his lectures inspired me in so many ways.
He is overall a nice guy, I believe that also helps with being a good teacher, he is very available, will even give you his phone number, he makes you write essays and is kind of test heavy but thanks to him I managed to pass Econ 3200 and learn something will at it so he must be pretty good. Hard course but good and easy teacher.
Hes an ok professor. Didnt have a set schedule of what to teach. No quizzes no homwork just one midterm and one final
