Good professor. Funny and interesting to listen to. A lot of information and test are hard, but if you're willing to do the work he's worth taking.

While A&P is a challenging subject, if you are willing to study and work hard, it is easy to earn a good grade. Prof. Kleinelp made class fun and interesting. Highly recommended!

Funny guy,lots of good stories,some of the material is different from the book so I suggest reading the book but taking the tests from his notes.Very understanding and helps when it comes to studying,especially before class.Lots of work but worth it.

Awesome teacher! I had him for both bios and found the classes very enjoyable. He's hilarious. It's a fast paced course but he curves the tests so it's very difficult to fail! There's a lot of homework and internet work hence many ways to get extra points for the not-so-good test takers.

He is a very good teacher - actually teaches instead of just giving homework to do. got the highest grade in the class (b+). if you try, you will rock it. watch out for the little bit of chemistry that shows up on the exams. exam content comes right out of the books and powerpoint slides. his internet course is second to none - wish there were more internet courses!

Prof. was very fair & very available. Obviously the prior commentor has not heard of email esp in an internet class. Although we had encountered numerous web problems Prof. K ALWAYS made accomodations for us with extended time and due dates. If someone had not made copies of their submitted work it is their problem not his. There is always 1. A+

Kleinelp was amazing! He was helpful and not to mention incredibly amusing. He's probably one of the funniest prof. I've EVER had. I recommend taking his class b.c you'd want someone to make those tough Bio courses as enjoyable as possible. The workload can be overwhelming at times but with Kleinelp, it should be okay.

I am at another school now and I wish I had more professors like Kleinelp. He was one of the greatest professors I have ever had and created a work ethic in me no other teacher has. He's a good teacher .. but not for A&P 1. If you've never had a class like this before, I suggest finding a teacher who will better explain things. He tends to breeze through stuff, and sometimes contradicts what's in your text book.

Tough teacher, but you learn what you put into it. But what makes the class unbearable is the airheaded "Oh I'm better than you are" nursing students that constantly ask dumb questions, whine, and text in class. Oh, you poor nursing students! Life can just be so bad!

Oh yes, this man is tough. Remember, what you put into class is what you get out of it. Not showing up and then expecting Mr. Kleinelp to cater to you isn't going to work. Complaining about the assignments is not going to help. The first pre-requisite for the class should be "mature attitude."

Okay, he's not easy but A&P really shouldn't be. Pay attention, write notes, do EVERY assignment and you'll pass. If you're not into a prof who's rather sarcastic, then he's not for you. I happen to love this class and will recommend him to every Bio student I know

Excellent professor; clear, informative, helpful and fair. His challenging assignments and quizzes are tools that allow students to prepare for exams in a timely manner. Any poor ratings of this professor can easily be attributed to students that should probably not be going into any fields that require A&P.

I had read prior comments and was hesitant. I was happy to be in his class. He HELPED us out by placing his lecture materials in PPT format for use to review. Did not like the text. He does assign a lot of work but nothing worthwhile comes easy. I am looking forward to Bio 112 with him. Always kind, happy, upbeat, funny and a nice man

Just finished the course and it was wonderful.A very large amount of information presented in an intelligent and cohesive manner. Requires a lot of work on the part of the student because of the wealth of info. Lab was great and if I could I would take another course with him. Excellent Professor, took this course twice, 1st time with another Proffesor recieved a c+, second time with this Professor I earned a B+. His quizzes were better more quesions, more chances to do good. Rarely did he ever walk in late and he only canceled class about 3 times throughout the semester. Taking A&P?, I highly recommend him.

Professor Kleinelp is great. He knows his material, and has many years experience teaching it clearly to his class. This class requires a lot of work, but it prepares you well for the tests and really helps to learn the material. I highly recommend him.

obviously the prior rater thought that summer classes were going to be easier. He is very fair, gives adequate chances and help. maybe they should pay attention and not leave class so early. He is highly recommended. You only get out what you put in. There is no free ride!!!

He has a dry sense of humor and can be almost rude. His exams are crazy hard. I was ranked #1 in his class and only received a B+. However, I learned so much from him.

If you want someone that makes you think, he is your guy. If you want to skate and not do the work, do not take him. I took him for AP1 & again for AP2. He is tough- no getting around that. You will learn so much from him....he is very knowledgeable. I would take him again if I could.

Now that I got my midterm grade I am thankful for this professors push and egging on. I am now happy for the cumulative quizzes. He s hard but not as hard as complaining and getting a C. Made lab very clear and easy to follow. Lab quizzes were cumulative but it was helpful when the practical came... as for lecture.. let's just say I didn't pass any of the tests.

Tough, but if you're serious about getting into the health profession, his class will be the test to show if you can make it or break it. Keep up with the quizzes, and make sure to know them through and through. Also, I found that recording his classes helped to listen back on parts that I might have missed on the notes.

Structure and function was a pretty amazing class, incredibly difficult and you need to dedicate the time to studying and not miss any labs. Overall he made learning fun with anecdotes and knew what he was talking about. Answered all questions and didn't stop until you understood. If you put the work in, you will do well.

Kleinelp is a great professor. The class wasn't easy, but it's not supposed to be easy. I didn't spend an exorbitant amount of time studying and I still got an A. As for his attitude, yes, he can be rude at times. I suggest you challenge him on it, fight back. He's a fair grader and dropped our lowest quiz score. You get out what you put it.

Professor Kleinelp is very knowledgeable and helpful. The Lectures are tough, and sometimes he does not clarify things. He puts up lab reviews and quizzes after you take them so you can review them. When you email him he does not help at all so it is better to speak to him in person. TAKE HIM!! BUT STUDY HARD

Prof. Kleinelp was one of my favorite teachers yet. He is so smart and so entertaining. He gives a lot of work but only so that you can remember it for future tests and quizzes. He is so awesome! VERY sarcastic but super funny. I highly recommend him!

He is very smart and knows the material inside and out. Pay attention and ask questions when confused. His exams are easy if you study well and fully understand the material. Make sure you read the directions at the top of the exam as he sometimes hides extra credit.

Professor Klenip is awesome!!! Really knows his stuff and is a very fair grader. He definitely gives you a chance to bring up your grade and is always available to help you when needed. You should definitely take him.

This class was HARD. That being said, he is a really fantastic teacher. His exams aren't that hard if your really study and do all the homework (and yes, it's a lot of homework). There are more exams than most classes but he does that so you can focus on less material, and it gives you the chance to boost your grade if you don't do well early on.

just finished with one of the best profs i have ever had and I am not even a stuient at MCC He far surpasses any prof I have had at my 4 year school. He is intense, funny, very knowledgeable and when he does not know something he admits it, finds out and thhen tells you. do all the work and study you will do fine

He is really a funny guy and always has the class laughing. He was enjoyable to have as a teacher. Anatomy is hard so you have to work for it. With assignments he isn't very straight forward, but if you ask questions he will help you. I learned a lot from the class and I would take him again for another class.

He is a tough cookie but w/ a good heart. If he sees you trying he will help you. There is a lab quiz every week. Their main purpose is to get you ready for lab practicals. There are 5 exams, 2 practicals and 2 lab reports. If u do well in them you can ace the class. The rest of the assignments are there to help u study. They don't hurt your grade.

Professor Kleinelp is very knowledgeable in this subject. AP is NOT an easy subject by any means and he makes you work for your grade. It was a lot of work, but if you do all of it, you should still be able to get a B minimum. There is so much work that one or two "bad grades" won't affect you that much. Drops lowest quiz, and homework grade.

With any A&P class, there is a LOT of information to be learned. You get quizzed weekly. People who are negatively rating this class don't realize that this is how A&P is at any school. Professor Kleinelp makes the material easy to understand, answers questions, and has engaging lectures despite the class being remote. He's caring and the best!

Although his ratings are on the lower side, he really does give you everything you need to pass. Study guides, slideshows, and even past lecture recordings (if you ask nicely). The only thing that I would say he needs to improve on is slowing down a bit, he does tend to teach the material pretty fast. But let him know, and he does take it slower :)

Prof Kleinelp is a great professor. His knowledge and passion for Anatomy and Physiology is evident in his lectures. He uses real world examples to help explain materials covered in class. He is tough but fair. Attendance is not mandatory, if you don't show up, you won't have a prayer of passing. He is also easily accessible outside of class.
