Great teacher. I went in knowing nothing about UNIX and left knowing TONS about shell programming. He explains everything very well knows a lot about what he is teaching. Really cares about his students and is always interesting. Just don't skip class because if you get behind on the material you'll be lost forever.

Entertaining, Amusing, EXTREMELY solid command of th e subject matter with DECADES of real world experience. Established a very good rapport with the class, and interacted well with ALL the students - not just the chosen few. Difficult subjects, but pay attention and you will do well. Highly Recommended

most interesting teacher ive ever had...i actually look forward to being a business major now...actual class is not too hard as long as you copy down all notes or get them from website and just study them...but every class is so amazing from all his previous job experience he uses as examples

amazing prof!!he knows a lot of business, he uses his personal experiences as examples. extremely helpful. for tests, just copy down the notes from the board and study the online notes u will be fine. interesting and fun class. definetly take his class!

This class is very detailed, make sure you don't miss a class as you fall behind and it's hard to catch up. Keeps you interested as you have to be ready for when he asks a question. Exam just test your attendance as everything is taken right from the lectures.

Took Data Structure during spring 2008. He's extremely knowledgeable and does his best in teaching. This may not be an easy class but he puts extra effort to make sure students actually learn, not just get a passing grade. This was one of the best courses I have ever taken and really learned a lot about Data Structure. Highly recommended.

the best teacher in the world. i wish he was my father. he knows so much and has had so much experience. he gives so many real life examples and explains this so well. he doesnt just read off his powerpoints. he expects a lot but he makes it easy to achieve. take him!!!

Mr. Klinger is a great professor. He's a straight forward good natured man whoose tests are soley composed of material that he teaches and lectures about. He sports a quality, refined, yet reasonably designed Intro to Business class, virtually free of unusual demands, or odd distasteful quirks. I suggest you select him for your next business class

He was a great profesor who actually knows what hes talking about. Never get homework except for group assignments outside of class, which were always more fun anyways. Only 3 tests all semester and he drops your lowest grade..Come to class ontime! and atleast pretend to pay attention, or he will call on you a lot haha. I def suggest him!

Great Professor knows his stuff, the best part about him is he wants you to pass and remember the material 5 years from now. Gives extra credit every week so there is no point in not doing the extra credit. Don't really use the text book because he gives you notes on power point.

He is very good professor. Clearly explains, knowledgeable, and most of all he has passion for teaching. Energizes the class by interacting with students and engaging them in critical thinking. He is very clear about his expectations from the students. Homework is done in groups. He is very fair and helpful. Thumbs up!!!

BEST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD!!! He explains everything in detail. If you have questions, he answers them very well. He only assigns 4 HW all semester. Three are done in groups, one is on your own. I really suggest taking his class!!!

He is one of the best professors i have ever had!!! If you want a class where you don't learn and don't do any work, don't go to college....... so many kids in my class complained about how hard his class was. That's because they didn't listen in class. Klinger is so passionate about what he does and can teach you so much

great professor helps out a lot... has time to talk about football and help out with hw or study... he help me out almost everyday if not at lease 1 time a week. just study and do the group hw and you will be fine.

Prof Klinger is a great teacher in my opinion. If you are interested in business he helps you understand more about it. He replies to my emails within a day. His hw assignments are usually grouped however you can go to him if you have questions. I would suggest you take a class with this teacher

One of the best teachers Ive ever had. Book and street smart, he makes a boring subject as interesting as possible. A true professional, very nice guy, great teacher. Wish he taught more classes. If youre lazy, take someone else. If youre serious, take him, you wont regret it

Excellent Professor! Very energetic and knows his stuff regarding class material plus some. Always willing to help students anyway he can. Must study if you want a good grade. Test are not very hard if you study all material covered in class. Fun teacher!

Excellent professor, funny, clear, and really cares about teaching students and getting them to understand. Not extremely difficult, but hard enough that you need to pay attention and, if you put a decent effort forward, you will learn a great deal. Highly recommended.

I think he is a great professor. He does teach you real life application relating to the field of business. It is a tough class in my opinion though.

THE BEST PROFESSOR!!!!! Not the easiest but he really tries to make it real life in class. I got a lot out from his class this year and he is so helpful when you go see him for help he will do anything to help you succeed if you want to! I recommend him, he is funny and loves teaching its a very enjoyable class!!!

Probably the most interesting class I have taken. I had no desire to take a business class but needed one for my major. So glad I took Professor Klinger. His mini thought experiments keep you interested in the material and are even kind of fun. Take him for any business classes you can! And open a Roth IRA right now.

Without a doubt, THE Best teacher at RVCC. Assignments are laid out in advance, you know exactly what is expected of you. Exams follow 90% lectures, 10% textbook. Klinger makes it interesting and fun, and brings relevant real world experience.

Very nice guy but runs his class in a very structured way. #1 Don't be late. #2 Don't text in class. The work is really all on you - there are major projects (about 4 or 5) that you have to do in a group. He's always there to help, but it's really your group that has to put in the effort to work. Fun class discussions, though. Good teacher.

HARD CLASS BUT INTERESTING GUY HAS EXPERIENCE AND ALOT OF IT AND TEACHES FOR FUN LOVES TO PROVE YOU WRONG BUT YOULL LEARN ALLOT

He treated our class like a business meeting. I MEAN IT, DO NOT BE LATE. I recommend you print out the Power Point slides and write your notes on those. Make friends fast because there will be quite a few group projects. He began some of our classes with brainteasers and business related current events. He's a cool guy. Just do the work.

Do not take this class for an easy A. And if you do take it and want an A, be prepared to work for it. He expects thoroughness and does not accept excuses. That said, the work is rewarding and you'll learn a lot. Everything he teaches is useful in business andor personal finance. People who don't like him are usually the ones who are late.

GREAT PROFESSOR! YOU WILL LEARN A LOT. JUST DO NOT SEAT NEXT TO LAZY STUDENTS BECAUSE THERE ABOUT 5 GROUP PROJECTS THAT ARE FAIRLY LONG AND DIFFICULT AND YOU'LL END UP WORKING A LOT.

Great teacher to have and one of the only Professors that I really have a desire to take again. He knows his stuff very well but does not shove it in your face. You DO NOT need to read the book to pass his class. His tests are basically straight off the powerpoints that he gives you so study what he gives you and you'll get an A.

Great Professor- Had him for Business Management and Intro to business. He is extremely clear on his expectations and his grading policy is just as concise as well. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. Just print out his power points before class and add the little extra he says in class. Be prepared to do some hw a week but really not bad at all.

Professor Klinger was hands down my favorite professor at RV. I don't think I have ever learned more in a class than I did in his class. I would take anything he teaches. His classes are never boring and so easy to understand, awesome professor!

I've taken two of Professor Klinger's courses and each time I received an A. His tests are very easy with no trick questions, and there is no need to buy the book because he provides all the information you need in his lectures. He genuinely is a caring and humorous person that gives his students everything they need to succeed.

Prof. Klinger has been THE best professor I've had at RV. He's is very clear to what is expected from the student and there are no surprises. Klinger is always happy and energetic. I took him for Intro to Business and Principles of Management and will be taking him again for Personal Finance! 3 classes with him, I think that says enough!

You will not regret taking any of Professor Klinger's classes! He's a great guy and makes class interesting with discussions and lots of examples to make sure everyone understands the material. The tests are pretty easy, theres a lot of group projects, and he makes everyone participate in class. Overall a really helpful professor.

Best class and teacher I've had! Class is fun and interactive; his lectures aren't boring. If you work for the grade, you'll get it.

He knows his stuff. He seems genuinely interested in the matter that he is teaching. He grades very fairly. His assignments are directly related to the matter he teaches in class. The material on the exams is thoroughly covered in class and on the assignments. If you pay attention and do the work, a good grade is easily possible.

All HW is done in group projects. Make sure to pay attention during class bc he likes to call on everyone at least once. Come to class prepared and ready to review what you learned the prior class cause he will put you on the spot. DO NOT BE LATE. He will call you out on it and make you wait outside. Hes a nice professor, just doesnt mess around.

Professor Klinger is one of the best professors I have ever had. I took him for Intro to Business as well as Principles of Management. He is strict about no cell phones and being on time, but he is a genuinely nice guy who wants you to succeed. He has tons of experience with the things he teaches about, and doesn't have any surprises on his tests.

Ive taken a few of his classes and even though hes a tough teacher hes an amazing man. He wants to see his students succeed but he expects you to work for it.

Great lectures, makes material easy and enjoyable to understand. Only need book for first test and first group homework. Weekly write-ups (not worth much, but helps material stick). Tests are half multiple-choice and half open-ended based on a video and picking out terms.

For my first college course this class was a great intro to how hard college was, tests and work are pretty difficult but he makes the class entertaining. Really easy to talk to and he likes students that participate a lot!

His class is very dynamic. Most of the homework is done in groups. Pay attention in class and be aware of the business world because he likes to call on everyone at least once per class. Don't be late because as soon as is it is the time to start the class he won't let anyone in until he wants to.

He is really nice and always gives great feedback if you send him your homework. I had him for an online class and it was still a good experience. He really only wants you to show up early and participate. Although, I wouldn't raise my hand most of the time, he still makes sure he calls on everyone in the class throughout the lecture.

I would recommend to take one of Professor Klinger's classes. He likes when you participate a lot and if you don't he will call on you. If you have your camera off on a zoom call he will call on you to make sure you are present. The exams are pretty difficult. The homework assignments are done in groups. Make sure you show up to class early.

I LOVED Klinger!!! I took him this year online and it was an amazing class. Make sure you show up and are ready. He was super funny and caring about his students and would give clear instructions. You just have to make sure you do well in group work- which isn't that hard. You learn a LOT from this class would 100% take him again.

Professor Klinger is one of the best professor I had. He cares about students and he gives you clear criteria for grading. A lot of group project tho so get ready to do it. Participation matters. As long as you participate and take notes, and try hard for group project. It is not hard to get a good grade in this class.

I enjoyed talking Klinger's class. I definitely learned a lot. His assignments can sometimes be tricky, as if you miss one direction it can cost you a lot of points. It was also a little annoying working on group projects. Besides that it's a good class. Lectures are never dull. When it comes to assignments, take his advice and panic early

Professor Klinger was a great professor! He taught class well and made sure to make it interesting and interactive. Homework was portioned out well and fairly graded- we primarily worked in groups. I highly recommend taking this professor if you want to learn but still enjoy class.

Klinger is by my best definition tough but fair. He warms up on you after a few classes and is for the most part enjoyable to be around. I will say that his political beliefs do poke out with some comments during the course but for the most part he keeps the classroom unbiased. He struggles sometimes with being wrong.

I enjoyed Klingers class a lot, I was fortunate to have a really interactive and fun class! He calls on people randomly to keep everyone attentive and prepared. He's a good teacher and gives some great advice. Total of five homeworks (4 groups and one individual) so if you get stuck with a bad group, tell him immediately!

Great teacher! Lots of notes, group work is common, tests are like 55ish questions (real-life examples), stay up to news he'll ask abt it, he teaches marketing too, must speak at least once every class, super social, interactive classes! He's fair, you get the grade you work for, class avg. was like 92

Klinger may seem strict or mean at first. Will all on you a couple of times in class. Dont arrive late ever, will make u wait outside to ensure you understand punctuality. Exams are not too hard. He is flexible, does group projects, extra credit. You will take many notes but as long as you review them, youll pass. He is great and has good humor.

Klinger is great for intro to business. Genuinely, lots of lectures but they're engaging, and make sure to participate so he knows your name/face. There's not too much homework, just a few big (interesting) assignments. If you hate group projects, like me, you'll find these okay as he gives opportunity to truthfully evaluate your group members.

He makes you want to work harder. I have taken him twice. If you want to learn, then he's the teacher for you. He's not going to treat you like a little kid, but how the business world will treat you.Just don't be late to class, just like you shouldnt be late to a job. Put effort in. He prepares you for real life and I'm thankful for that

Very little homework for this class, which did make it difficult if you didn't do well on the exam or assignments. He was very helpful and always open to help his students. We mainly talked about notes all day, but he makes it fun and interesting. Really appreciated his care for his students.

Don't get me wrong he was a good professor, however sometimes the exams were harder than needed to be because he would lack explanation in something. Felt like I knew most of what was on the exams and then received an ok grade. Would take again but don't be afraid to ask questions to clarify.

I genuinely at first didn't like Professor Klinger, but 3 months later, I can confidently say he was my favorite prof. He's incredibly gifted in the field he works in, and if you can't tell, he's not at RVCC for the money, he's here for us, to help students learn and become a better business person. I learned so much from Klinger, highly recommend!

Great Professor, very knowledgeable in the subject you can ask him about anything related to business. Always looking to talk about anything business related and truly cares about his students leaving the class with more information than when they first came in. 3 exams lowest gets dropped, final is worth 41% so do not take it lightly.

Prof. Klinger's lectures are engaging, though his teaching style can be strict. Prioritize class participation and review notes to succeed. unstuckstudy was a helpful study tool alongside the textbook.

Very knowledgeable with what he teaches, DON'T LACK IN CLASS PARTICIPATION OR UNDERSTANDING OF THE MATERIAL BC YOU WILL GET LOST. Professor Klingers lectures and assignments have taught me so much, you'll honestly have a great time if you've came to learn. Don't lack in STUDYING for exams (very important).

I took his business simulation seminar course and it was definitely my favorite at RVCC. Very group oriented and I made a lot of amazing friends. Once the simulation was over he adjusted an extra 15 point boost to our grades. Really great guy, enjoyed having him.

A+! All homework is group assignments, but they are designed to help you practice working with strangers in a group environment (aka having a Real Job). Pros: great attitude, fair grader, organized Canvas, fun lectures, always real-world applicable information. Cons: rubrics can be confusing (ask for clarification- he will reply). Don't be late!

I learned a lot from this class. You can tell he's a very smart guy. The weekly quizzes were rough but the exams weren't bad. He will call on you randomly to answer questions so be prepared. He comes off scary but he's really not bad. He's a little forgetful so double check he marked your question right on exams.
