Nice guy, very laid back, you can tell he enjoys teaching. Encourages students to stop by his office or use the math lab for extra help. He isn't hard by any means, just a lot of HW. But you do have to take good notes and study - obviously.

this class isin't that hard. he is very good at teaching and is very clear when explaining the work. if you listen to him in class you will pass. he does give a lil too much homework though. but other than that he's a good teacher.

Personally, he's the best math teacher I've encountered. Explains things good, tests are easier than the work in class. However, 4 those of u who dont like h.w. or like to move at a slow pace, he does give quite a bit of homework and moves quickly thru sections. Other than that, he's AWESOME!!

If you have trouble with math, TAKE HIM! I've been through 3 math professors, and he is by far the best! Explains very well everything he goes over! Goes the extra mile when you need help, always there to answer any questions and gives "extra credit"! Great teacher and would certainly take him again! He's a really great teacher but if you miss one class you're pretty much done. I missed ONE CLASS and my 96% went down to an 83% because I missed an entire section lecture in the chapter. Attend every class and keep up with your homework and notebook it'll really helpful!

Kunz is a great professor. I am horrible at math and I passed his class. You should take notes and not miss any classes because he gives extra credit. The tests are ok, if you study you'll do fine. The tests are multiple choice and free response.

Very good teacher. If you hate math he is the teacher to take. Study you notes and take the online quizzes and you will do fine on the test. You will understand math when you take him, and you get a lot of extra credit.

MAT1033 I think that Professor Kunz is the coolest professor. He is a very sweet teacher, and he will help you out if you have problems. Overall, I really enjoyed his class. However, yes it was intense and challenging , but being in a class that intense makes you overall a better student.

He teaches the material very well, but if you get a 79% he won't give you an 80. The tests are anywhere from fair to hard, i wouldnt recommend him only because of the grading policy.

Teacher is good and tries to help out a lot but is extremely strict on his grading system. I did all of my work including all of the extra credit and would always show up to class. He didn't take that into consideration when I got a 79 in the class and he wouldn't give me the 80. Thanks to him I got my first "C" in college.

Prof. Kunz is the best math teacher ever, I took this class 2x before and he made a BIG difference. He is very helpfull and funny. The on line test and the practice test are the same exact as the actual class test only the numbers change, so if you do the on line and the practice test there is no way you can not pass his test.

taking him was the BEST thing ever! he has a way of breaking down math to the math illiterate (such as myself) that is amazing. gives up to 10+ points on every test (optional). lectures are about an hr long. very helpful!!!!

This class is about 60% in class and 40% online, with a lot of extra credit opportunities if you are not lazy. He uses an algebraic approach towards calculus, but you you should probably procure a scientific/graphing calculator, and learn how to use it, to make the class that much easier.

I've struggled with math all my life, normally a C/D student (if I pass at all). Prof. Kunz has been the only teacher I've had that made math simple. He's fantastic. I waited a whole extra semester just to get him for a Liberal Arts math. Also took him for MAT1033. You wont regret taking his class!

Hybrid class with 60% in class and 40% online work. HW has unlimited attempts and 8 quizzes 2 attempts of which the lowest 2 grades are dropped. I highly recommend taking this class.

I took him for Cal 1. This class was a hybrid course where 60% was in class and 40% from the HW /Quiz online. You had unlimited attempts on the online HW and 8 quizzes with 2 attempts each and drops the lowest 2 quizzes. 4 exams and drops the lowest one with a lot of extra credit opportunity. drops 2 of the worse quizzes if you use math xl, rounds the a whole number in your grade, let's you finish any homework you haven't done to maximize all the points to pass his class, first 3 chapters are easy, from there its all about algebra , then last chapters talk about $$, add extra credit, i got through with a C and i'm not the best.

This is a good Professor to take. The class work and the understanding of it, is kind of hard. But as long as you go to class on time and pay attention. You should be able to get through it ok. Always ask for help from classmates or the professor if you don't know something. Trust, me it helps in the end. I may take his class for MGF 1106.

Teaches off a word document making it hard to understand so you have to pay attention. I didn't like the way he taught but he does answer any questions you have. Theres only 4 tests and he drops the lowest one, he gives a review which reflects what is on the test and gives you extra points on the test for doing it. A lot of hw but pretty easy to do

He teaches us to use technology even for the tests which is amazing because in the real world that is what we would use. Gives extra credit every time max of 10 point on the tests which is the difference between a grade to another. Very helpful, hw mathxl which is long but easy as we have unlimited times to do over.

Professor Kunz is overall a great educator. I'm not that good at math so I had a tough time, but honestly if he at leasts see that you're trying you will pass. Took him for pre-calculus and now trigonometry, amazing professor. Easy A if you do the review and understand it, which he dedicates a whole day to answering questions on the review. Clear when instructing and no textbook was needed all his quizzes and homework is online, lots of homework though.

Mr. Kunz is the most amazing professor. He is very patient and does not mind reviewing material he already covered, even if the students asking the question are late or not paying attention. Professor Kunz made showing up to an 8am worth it. Explained the material thoroughly and answered any questions we had. 4 test and a final that replaces the lowest grade along with online homework . Definitely would take again, one of the clearest math teachers I've had,

I took Mr. Kunz for MGF1106/1107. I passed both with a 99% and 92% (A). He offers a practice exam after every section. What ever your grade on the practice is ex. 80%, you would then get 8 points added to your exam. If it were an 85%, you would then get 9 points added to your exam! Do the practice tests and the homework and you will pass no doubt.

Took Kunz for MAC1140 & MAC1114 this summer. Very clear on his instructions, teaching, examples & even had prepared material that you could download/print to following along in class. Gave extra credit, which you have to work for, but it is worth it. Passed both classes with an A, mind you these were 6 week summer classes.

He's very clear, easy to understand and always there to help you. Take him! 4 exams and a final. And homework on MathXL and extra credit practice questions that go with each exam

Prof Kunz is a good one. I never regret I took his class. He is fair and give extra work for extra credit. I also like the fact that beside his regular exams questions he gives other questions for those like me who can do difficult problems for extra points. I like it. if you fail it's either you didn't show interest or are lazy lol.

I have failed math twice in the past. I was was very nervous to take it again. Prof. Kunz gives 4 section tests and 1 cumulative final. He gives homework on MathXL and gives extra credit work which he then turns to points for the test. I did all the extra credit and got a grade up on my tests. MathXl is very good.

This was my 3rd attempt at taking Statistics I was so skeptical about taking this class but I do not regret it one bit . He is a EXCELLENT teacher husband lectures are very clear he will stay after class to make sure you understand the material, he gives you a practice exam before each test and the results of the practice gets added to your test.

I took him for the blended pre-calc & trig class. Math is not my favorite subject and he made me understand everything. He does 5 tests, 2 pre-calc, 2 trig and 1 cumulative and gives a practice that can get you up to ten points on each test, and he drops the lowest test grade. For the blended part of the class he puts the hw on mathxl.

His lectures are really interesting, he likes explaining with real life examples, practical use of math in daily life, he gives assignment for extra credit and he is available at his office for help. Prof Kunz is pretty nice, his goal is for you to pass. The class schedule is provided at the very beginning so you know when every test date is and project. Projects are super easy,he goes over homework in class. He gives a test review that you counts as extra credit if you complete it before the test. As long as you try and go to class you'll pass

Great Professor! If you loved him in MGF1106 then you will love him in MGF1107. He offers extra credit which is based on the notes. There are projects that are easy if you pay attention in class. His grades are based on the projects, homework assignments online, and tests. Could have gotten an A but i missed an homework assignment. TAKE HIM!!!!

Professor Kunz is amazing. He offers extra credit and his lectures are clear and easy to understand. My weak point is definitely math and he has made it easy and understandable. I wish I would have taken him for my other math classes!

Amazing Professor! I wish he offered a couple evening classes as well so that I could take him for my entire degree. You'll have online HW & a math project (roughly 3-5 pages worth of work that he covers during class). If you have a question, ask! He will slow down & answer it no matter what. He cares about teaching and about his students passing.

He breaks down math in a very easy and understanding way, you have to work hard for your grade but nothing to hard, tests are multiple choice and not that very hard. He said very nice and caring about his students. He always asks if you have any questions.

He gives EXTRA CREDIT, but you have to work for it! The test is only 20 questions with a few free response questions, that are easy if you understand the homework on pearson. There is a lot of stuff covered in each class, so don't miss any! Just study the review and you'll be guaranteed a good grade!

Kunz is an awesome teacher. I passed the class with an A even with a d in one test and was still able to exempt the final. Had for two semester for percal/trig & cal 1 and i couldn't be anymore sastified with this prof. Besides the class being early in the morning and students looking as dull as ever he still teaches throughout the whole class with so much passion for Cal. Took this class for honors and i'm really glad I did! There is a lot of homework but we used my stat lab which made it sooo much easier. There was almost no formulas to memorize. He teaches all class, the notes are all online and he always answers any questions. The honors project was with a group and honestly pretty easy.

I've taken Professor Kunz before and I would take him again. I hope I get the chance. I missed several classes this semester because of my health, but I was still able to pass because of his amazing lectures and clear grading criteria. I'm terrible at math and he made it enjoyable and stress-free.

I loved his class. Even though I'm not good in math, he explained it so well. 4 tests and a final, he drops the lowest one to help grade. Homework a bit much, but able to get 100%. Extra credit is 70-90 question packet, that goes up to 10 points on your tests. He was very funny and happy for an 8AM class, tried to make the class entertaining

He's nice, helpful and uses StatCrunch for Honors course. Do practices for extra credit in study group, it goes by faster and helps on the test. You're allowed formula sheets and StatCrunch during the tests, 15 Qs and 4 free response. If you do well on all 4 tests you can SKIP the FINAL. Stay on top of Homework due dates! Quizzes at end of class.

Of the BEST math teachers I've ever known! he is patience and profesional. He has a great teaching style! I really enjoyed this class. He is funny, knowledgeable, and willing to help students. Professor Kunz is by far one of the best professors Browar College offers. He wants his students to pass and offers extra credit for each unit. Be aware that you will be using Stat-Crunch but it makes the class a million times easier. TAKE PROFESSOR KUNZ or you will regret it.

Although this class was forced to be in Remote form (Due To Covid-19) it was a very well structured class and the professor was so helpful! He made sure to be clear on every subject and as long as you follow along with the printed notes the class is easier to understand. I'm terrible in math and got a 95%! I was terrified to take this class due to remote learning aka online. You have to buy the mystatslab code to do the homework, test, & quizzes. This professor is GREAT! He takes his time to teach the material & is very understanding. Homework load is very reasonable. Practice & pay attention, you'll pass!

Took Prof. Kunz for my last course at BC before COVID hit. Calculus is not easy, but he made it approachable and made sure that the class understood the material before advancing. He stayed behind with students who had a bit of trouble. Make sure to study and put in the work, but take him! We went remote half-way thru the class but he made it work!

Most of the work is just remembering how to use StatCrunch and he teaches you. Tests are proctored but most werent that hard. Honors project is simple and quizzes are done with him. Take him!

He is solid. He really tries to make sure everyone understands and will cover anything that confuses students, for stats he uses Statcrunch which is basically a calculator so needs to remember formulas. there is a lot of homework for each question with multiple questions but there's a lot of time to turn it in

I honestly suck at math, but Profrosser Kunz made it so easy. All the math can be done on stat crunch, which is a cool app that helps solve stat problems. the are daily quizzes (about 2-4 questions and he goes over it beforehand), homework assignments, 4 protectors exams, and the final. overall he is a great guy and very helpful!

This professor class was very great if you are not really good at math. He was willingly to explain things in way we could understand and provided so many opportunities to get a good grade in his class with quizzes, tests, and class quizzes which were easy at times.

Professor William Kunz is a respected and caring person. He goes through every single step and explains everything in specifics. I took him in mac2311 and mac1147.Which was very time-consuming course because of learning a lot of material in a short period of time, but at the end I pass with a passing grade. I recommend taking him!!!!

I love the way he teaches. He puts the lesson in a way for you to understand best. His lectures are interesting and helpful. He gives examples in his lecture for the best understanding. The reason I put it can be difficult is that the homework is tedious and wordy. You have to make sense of every question. Although there is many alternatives.

He was great at explaining things in a very simple way. I am terrible at math, took stats 2 times before this and never got it until Prof Kunz explained it in a way that was super easy to break down. Prof. Kunz is an amazing teacher! Really delves deep into the subject he is covering that day. There is a mini quiz every day at the end of class that he does with you! You do not have to take the final if you have a 90% or more by the end of the class. You can tell he has a passion for math!

Professor Kunz is one of my favorite professors at Broward College. Only he is nice and respected to students, he is also a great lecturer. He always answer students' questions in a welcoming way. I took the class as a blended course. I was scared of calculus 1, but he's a reasonable professor and made it easy for students. 100% recommended.

Prof. Kunz really cares about his students. Love love loved his class and I was worried because it is stats but he makes it so easy to understand. Easy A class just come to class and listen and do what he says. That's literally it.

I took Kunz for stats and I found the material to be pretty difficult, but the professor did his best to help us understand and he had plenty of office hours in case you needed help. He does a lot at the end of the semester to help bring your grade up. He has 5 tests and drops the lowest one. I'm surprised I ended up with the grade I did.

He would go over every quiz after class and let you know where you missed so you can improve (he will help you out with your grade if you show him that you know and that you're putting in the effort). Had him for Precal n Cal1. HE WAS A GEM. Lecture was really easy to understand and super clear on what he expects on tests. 5 questions quiz every class, midterm and final. The reviews were much helpful. LOTS of EASY HW, so it takes time. I'd recommend him 100%. You better register early cus his class be filling quick.

Great prof! You can really tell he cares about his students passing/is generally a nice guy. Always more than willing to re-explain a topic, generally tends to repeat himself but not enough to negatively impact the class. Class is not standard statistics, so it is not very math heavy and is an easy A if you pay attention, and do the hw + reviews

Professor Kunz is the absolute best! He's very caring, he often times would extend due dates and drop quizzes/exams. He makes sure everyone understands the material and makes himself available outside of class if you don't. He's truly one the best professors I've had, he even gave me an A when I was supposed to end with a B. Take him!!!

This professor is exactly who you want to take for math. I'm not the best at math so I was worried but he explains information in a very detailed way and takes time to answer questions and go over several examples. I would take him again for any math course.

He really explains in detail what you need to pass. The labs are the only thing annoying. Test are in the test lab hated that but he is a really good teacher.

I wasn't the best at math but he helped me understand concepts by explaining step by step. If you pay attention early there is no reason why you can't pass with an A. One of the greats at Broward College For sure.

Nice professor. He makes the topics easy to understand and is willing to repeat himself to help you understand. There is a quiz every class, but he does it with you. Four tests and a homework assignment for every topic covered. I suggest not taking him for an 8am because his voice will put you to sleep. Pay attention and ask questions!

Professor Kunz was a brilliant statistics teacher! His lectures were very clear and concise! The class was very simple to follow and he provided lecture notes after each class period. No writing needed! The online software was also very lenient and informative, making homework tolerable. I would 100% recommend taking him for stats!!!

Professor Kunz has been amazing this spring semester! He made finance and statistics easy to understand, he was clear on every assignment, project, quiz, and test. All in all, I definitely recommend Professor Kunz.

I took professor kunz class pre cal/trig in the fall, the class prepares you for what you need to learn on the test, there are 4 tests and 1 final exam, practice the review for the test and you'll pass the class without any problem, however going to class at 8 am was tough

Professor Kunz Calc class is pretty similar to his pre cal/trig class however we use cengage instead of mylab overall there are 4 tests and one final, study the test reviews and you'll be good

I was afraid of Calculus before I took the course but professor Kunz is an amazing teacher and I was able to grasp everything he taught. Attendance is not mandatory, but necessary if you want to do well in the class. 5 exams, lowest grade is dropped. You get lots of homework but everything is directly related to the exams. Effort is key!

Prof Kunz was great for MGF1130! For this course, there is no exam, so your grade is dependent on 7-8 question quizzes after class and homework every week. He's open to helping students and very accessible after class, answers emails quickly, and is very kind! Great professor. Extra credit if you work in groups on his projects.

Mr. Kunz was an absolute great math teacher! I fell back in love with math after taking his class, he's very patient and kind with any questions or doubts.

He is a good teacher who always reminds you of deadlines for assignments and projects. You will take quizzes every day in class, but you usually have plenty of time, you can talk to your classmates, and you can take them several times. You will do several group projects, but they are not difficult at all. I would take classes with him again.

I loved this class. He was great at teaching things and was always very understanding with circumstances and wants to see his students succeed. 10/10!
