Best professor ever! I'm a business major and waited to take bio until my senior year because I was DREADING it but he made it so interesting and pleasant. Also, he LOVES elephants, talks about them all the time.. it is a GREAT class.. highly recommend taking this class, or any for that matter, with him!

He was very helpful. He made the information fun to learn while teaching so that everyone in the class understood. I received a high grade but so did my friends in the class. Great professor.

I love Dr. Bill! I am horrible with science but he makes it fun! He assigns homework at the beginning of the week & then gives you two weeks to finish it. Tests are take home & aren't bad. Dr. Bill is passionate about science & does make you participate in class. He says you should get the text but I've never used it & have been fine. Nice guy!

The assignments are pretty straightforward. He loves to talk about elephants, and he's done a lot of really cool research in Africa, so make sure you ask him about that

Absolutely the best teacher I've ever had, so much so that I'm thinking of switching my major to biology. I looked forward to his classes more than any I've ever taken. Makes you think, introduces you to new and challenging material, but is so helpful and willing to go the extra mile for you that a good grade is assured, if you care & just try.

Dr. Bill is awesome. He makes all of the chapters relate to current events. Grading wise he allows you to redo all work since he wants everyone to understand what they are learning no matter how long it takes. Only class I actually look forward to.

Professor Lanbauer is amazing, i would not want to take this class with anyone else! Test are tough but he lets you make it up every time for a better grade (usually 95). Loves what he teaches , hes always there to help and makes class interesting. Randomly ask questions on people but helps you figure the answer out. I WOULD TAKE AGAIN!!

Professor Langbauer is by far the best professor at Bridgewater. All of his tests are online and he allows students to meet him after class to raise their grade as long as you show him that you know the material. He is very understanding and caring towards students. I wish I could take him for every class!

Best teacher I have had at BSU. He is so funny and very respectable. He cares greatly for his students and how well they do in the class. He makes the subject interesting and shows lots of enthusiasm for the subject. All of his tests are online through Blackboard and there is one easy homework due a week on Sunday nights.

I had Dr. Langbauer for Environmental Biology in Spring 2016 and I adored him! He was really funny, understanding, and easy to talk to. I recommend this professor to anyone who wants to take biology!

He is an awesome professor, his lectures are interesting and he is also interesting. The work and tests were all online and open internet and book. Weekly assignments, if you got something wrong on the test/final he allows you to discuss it with him and will give you a better grade. SHOW UP ON TIME TO THE LAB. Dr. Langbauer is honestly the best and most caring professor I have taken and BSU. He really wants students to succeed and helps in any way possible. There are weekly HW assignments and 4 tests that are open book and internet. If you are looking for a Lab requirement, take this class and you will not regret it.

He is a bit of a tough grader, but no matter what grade you get on anything, (whether it be homework, tests, labs), you can go see him & and go over what you did wrong, and he will change the grade to a 95! It is almost impossible to not do well in his class. He cares a lot about the success of his students.

Dr. Bill is an awesome guy. He wants you to pass with flying colors. Very light work load, and he allows and helps you work on your final research paper for the entire semester. Do it well, have him look over it and edit it, and you're set.

This professor was the best I have ever had. He is the most entertaining professor who cares about his job and is so passionate about the things he teaches. Attendance is graded along with daily questions you make up yourself about the course but other than that he is awesome. The Final is just a five-page research paper about any topic you chose.

Seemed kind of up tight at first but once you got past the first week of class he showed everyone how passionate he was about his career and shared anything we wanted to know with us. I have never enjoyed a biology class up until this one. He is so caring and very understanding. He is very knowledgeable and has a lot to share. He has cool stories + plays songs before class. He knows how to keep you engaged. I was sad to leave his class and wish I could take him again.

You have to take a lab as well which is fun we had to do group projects and he gave us lots of time in class to get started. If ur five minutes late to lab you can't come in, because we only meet once a week its very important to make it.

Dr. Bill has one rule - give credit where credit is due. All assessments are online, open book, open note, open internet, closed peer. Cite your sources and you will do amazing. Very understanding of special circumstances. Meeting with him will get you a better grade unless you plagiarized- then it will remain a 0. Not bio-terminology heavy.

The most caring professor! Actually cares about you learning and will set up appointments to review tests and homework so you can get a higher grade. All tests are super easy as long as you attend lecture, take notes and learn how to cite properly. Makes class and lab entertaining.

I have taken this professor twice now. I enjoy being in his classes. I took the LAB with this class and I found that to be extremely easy. There was two presentations and a few online lab experiments with one actual experiment. I enjoyed both classes. he even let lab out a few times. If you need to take LAB, take the environmental lab with him.

literally so understanding. i was one of those people who fell out of it the second half of the semester and thought i was done for but he singlehandedly watered my grass, touched my heart, won the cheers of the students, treated us like actual people with lives (really!), and even allowed test revisions. you won't regret taking him, i promise.

Professor Langbauer cares a lot about his students. His main goal is to ensure his students understand the material rather than assigning numerous assignments for the grade. He also gives many chances when making up missed work, or work you didn't get the best grade on.

I am very openly not a science student but the way this professor formats the class sets students up for success regardless of their strengths. He gears the course towards maximizing learning opportunities rather than grading, and if you are to receive a grade you are unhappy with, he will willingly meet with you to go over material/ fix the grade.

This course was very easy, especially for a seminar class. We only had a 3-5 page essay on the topic of your choice. No exams and very few assignments. We didn't have finals or midterms either. It's a lot of fun and the lessons are very interesting.
