Rudy is great. Has very clear expectations, lets you pace yourself, and is very understanding. I highly recommend him!

Not recommended for students who are not good at math. He is helpful but sometimes it just seems too difficult to understand unless you're math-minded.

I had a great time in the class even though over half of the students dropped the class. He is there if you need any help and is great explaining things on a one on one basis. He more than willing to work with you on anything that you don't understand.

Nice enough guy, he really knows his stuff.There are times though he flys through problems like a crazy & you'll have to spend a hours in the library to figure out what he was talking about.Just DO YOUR HOMEWORK, its not graded but it's key to passing the test. (not all problems are shown in class)

He lets you go at your own pace. Gives you partial credit on tests and quizes. Gives you extra credit, and Gives you reasonable Homework assignments. He also helped keep my attention and made it somewhat interesting by telling his silly stories.

very good teacher. had personal problems and talked with him about it. helped me all he could, and recommended i repeat the class, cause i missed 4 weeks. very nice person and good teacher when you get to know his style of teaching. highly recommended by another teacher from downtown campus to take.

He is a funny guy and very helpful. He gives partical credit on the work done even if the answer is not correct. He is willing to help. He tells lots of tennis stories but they are funny and a good break from difficult chapters.

this is the best math teacher in the world. his test are so easy and he gives credit for a problem that is half right. i really like this teacher and i wanted him for college alg. but he is only theaching inter. alg. this term.

On-line class was a lot of work but the teacher gave you extra time just ask. He is fare and will work with you just keep in touch and he will find was to help you understand.

He will talk about random things with nothing to do with math, but if you listen to the math part and don't let your mind wander like his seems to, he's a good teacher. He's very nice and really wants to see his students do well.

Very good teacher. Always interested in making sure the students actually understand. The book was not clear at all and everything was actually online so we didn't really need the book.

Follow along in book as he lectures, make sure to do the homework. The final does test on material from the beginning of class, so be sure to take organized notes. He doesn't always remember where he left off and jumps around some. Don't be afraid to ask questions, especially if it's because of something on the board. He'll answer.

Great Professor. If one wants to learn math, take him. One of the brightest math professors I have met. He really knows his stuff.

He does have a habit of getting off subject. Pay attention, do the homework and ask questions about the math and he will explain it. He usually will explain a couple different ways in case one way makes more sense to you than the other. He really wants his students to excell.

Very good professor. 3 tests, 8 quizzes, dropped the lowest quiz. Test/Quiz questions are based off of homework. Homework is not checked/graded. Will take for Calculus II and recommend for any very strong math student. Yes he can get off track, but it makes the class and material more intesting and sometimes funny. A REAL COLLEGE professor!

Mr. R will help you 150% if you want to pass his class. I took him last term, this term, and will have him next term.

Great Prof,you'll learn everything you need to for the next level. Try to get the basics in class do all homework and then some and talk to him hes flexible and will work with you on anything, take this class if your tired of rigid profs.

Took for Calculus I and was great. Calculus II had 4 tests, the homework was graded this time, but it took some weight off of the tests which was good. Will take for Calculus III. Extremely recommended, favorite professor at FCCJ by far!

Very good teacher!! He talks about other things besides Math.. I took him for MAT0024 and MAT1033... I would take him for MAC1105, but he's not teaching the semester I'm taking it.. He is VERY helpful!! Very good teacher!!

Quite simply the best math teacher I've ever had. Extremely patient; was dealing with loud, disrespectful students all semester. Always answers your questions and if you don't understand something, he'll go over it in class until you do. He does trail off a lot, though, so beware. I'm definitely taking him for Intermediate Algebra next semester.

He knows his math and explains it well. He is more than willing to go the extra mile to help his students learn. Always available during posted office hours, and will make arrangements to help during a different time if you need it.

I thought he was a great teacher. He is very helpfull and understanding if he knows you are making an honest effort. He does move off the subject sometimes but bear with him he's a great guy.

I took his class but had to withdraw for personal reasons. He seemed to be very willing to help, very understanding, seemed like a great professor. I wish I could have finished the class with him. He does go off on tangents a little bit, but it makes the class more interesting.

Knows his math very well and expects you to as well. He just adopted a new book and software learning system. He said that the material was VERY rigorous and in depth and he even found some problems hard. You need to be sure your algebra fundementals are 100%. Day 2 was factoring negative fractional exponents in complex fractions!

He is a great professor! I have had him for statistics as well as Mac1147. If he is available I will take him through calc 3. One of the few teachers who actually care about the students and always willing to help if you ask. Seriously a great prof! I would definitely recommend him. Just be sure to do your homework and show that you care!

I hated Math but i took this class and now kind of enjoy it. He is a good teacher who truely cares, you just have to be willing to listen and take notes, not get mad when you don't understand because you are on facebook the whole class.

Just do your homework so you can ask questions about any problems you don't understand in class. If you do ALL the online homework, chapter reviews, and practice tests, it will help your grade in the end. He is very patient and understanding, even with that one student that seems to tie up class time with a million questions.

He is a very nice guy but if you're bad in math like me dont take him. Good for skilled math students. Tests are very hard and do not reflect hw or pre-tests. Is always there to help and open for questions. He teaches sometimes more then you need to know in Mac1105.

I hated math prior to this class, but this was an easy, practical math class with a great professor. Did not mind if you were late. Really tried hard to apply math to everyday life. Easy math credit. Take the notes he gives. If you miss, he puts the power points online. Homework is online too.

Loved this class. He told so many funny life stories & math jokes that would tie in whatever he was teaching. Super lenient with hw, gives a good practice test before exams. Pay attention, take notes, do the work and you'll be fine

Gotta defend this guy. Those who complain that he is unclear, or teaches too fast, are the same students who don't speak up in class. All you have to do is ask and he is more than willing to work with students until they understand, during and after class. Knows his stuff. Often relates math to reality, which keeps things interesting and relevant.

I have had three math teachers since being a transient student at FSCJ and none match his ability to teach math and ensure his students understand.If your weak in math I strongly recommend taking this instructor TRUST ME coming from someone who struggles in math he is the professor for you. If anyone thinks differently 9x out of 10 their just lazy

I am the WORST at math, and statistics itself is like a math bomb. His teaching is a little all over the place but overall he's one of those professors that bend over backwards for the student. He's great. I was really struggling but ended up w/ a B because of his generosity. He is more than willing to help anyone with questions.

The class was really easy!!! He got off topic A LOT!!!! He would postpone the date of a test if the class didnt understand the content which was nice. All the homework was on a website called WileyPLUS which I HATED!!! SO CONFUSING. Gave lots of take home quizes which were difficult. Tests were kinda easy and sometimes lets you have a page of notes

If he is teaching too fast, just speak up and ask him to explain whatever you don't understand. He's very generous about teaching you after class and during office hours. If you're a proactive student and don't mind asking him for extra help then I would recommend him. He helped me earn an A in business calculus and I'm certainly no math expert.
