Dr. Renfroe was a wonderful instructor. Had him during the months of the Hurricane. When we returned he was not only compasionante about our losses but also made me fell that every thing was going to be Ok with school. Test were cool and Lecture was by the book. A+ Dr. Renfreo.

Dr. Renfroe explains the material in "layman's" terms. Through stories and experiences from his practice, he makes the material understandable. As someone already mentioned, work through the materials he provides and you should do well in his classes.

Dr. Renfroe is one of the coolest teachers befor he took over my class I was failing and now im doing alot better, plus the stories he tells and how he uses students for an example really keep ypu interested

Fast paced but seriously funny, if you want to know what is on the test, listen to him, and if he says it 3 times it'll be on there!!

He will repeat things over and over from the power points to indicate that its something you need to know for quiz/practical. Be sure to read your handouts to see what will be on the practicals because he doesn't really baby u thru EVERYTHING, although he is really easy and fun. Watch him dissect.

I enjoy having him. He made Anatomy a little more interesting than Anatomy 1 teacher I had. Just make srue to be there for the review and you will know the material to study for the test.

Good Teaacher. I had failed to get the C I needed w/other instructors. Study the powerpoints and be there for the review and you will get a good grade. You need to come to class so you can mark on the powerpoints what to study.

This man is the greatest teacher ever! He is clear with everything. He gives great reviews the day before test. His final exam review is awesome. He gives his life experiences to explain things and does it well! He is friendly and helpfull! Lots of extra credit that brings you up a LETTER GRADE!!! Fun class and lab also!

Dr. Renfroe is by far the best science professor ever. I hated science until I had him for A&P 1 and 2. He's really funny and like someone said before me he uses rum and snicker bars for almost all of his examples. He tells you everything thats on the test the day before. So just study the review and you'll make an A. He never uses the book either.

Dr. Renfroe is an excellent teacher. A&P is a hard subject, but he makes it easier for you to learn. I highly recommend his lecture class (BSC1093) & his lab class (BSC1093L)

Great instructor. Take this class!!! You do not need the book, save your money.

He lectures and then you take a test over three chapters normally. He is really good at trying to answer questions. He gives extra credit opportunities too. If you are the type that does not like to come to class he is not the teacher for you. You have to stay alert and understand his lectures or you will not understand the test.

Dr Wrenfroe makes quite a difficult subject comprehensable. He has lots of very funny anecdotes, which makes you remember the information given. My advice though would be make sure you sign up for him in both lecture and Lab. and you will find the subject much easier to understand. Excellent Proffessor.

Dr. Renfroe is fabulous, his teaching methods are superb. This is quite a difficult class, but if you attend each lecture and listen you will get it. He is always just an email away if you need help, and his classes are also very funny indeed. I would recommend him to all A&P students. I am miffed that he is not at the Pensacola campus this fall!!!

Greatest teacher I ever had. I made absolutely certain that I took his class for all A&P 1,2 and the labs. A master at his work.

Bring a recorder to the class before your exam along with your power-points and you'll be set. No magic hat tests, very upfront about what expectations are. Very helpful and down to earth. Of course it's A&P and you do have to study, but he wants you to succeed and not just fly by. Very informal and engaging. A+ for him!!!

Where do I begin...Dr. Renfroe is a one of a kind teacher. I literally looked forward to coming to class on Tuesday nights just to hear him. He is so funny and uses his humor to make the class fun. I took A&P 1 Lec/Lab from Dr. Renfroe this past semester (Jan-May). He explained everything to everyone and broke down the science so a 3 year old could understand. I had taken A&P a long time ago at a University. I didnt understand it then and was a afraid the same was going to happen this year. Boy was I wrong. One of the best profs. ever.

I had him for lecture, and he was amazing! He is a great teacher, and I recommend him to anyone needing to take AP classes.

I had Dr. Renfroe in a 6 weeks course taking A&P I and A&P II both labs at the same time and let me tell you, if it wasn't for his teaching ability and how he does it, I don't believe I could have made it through and got 4 A's. Excellent teacher. Register for his class early. A digital recorder is extremely helpful. The material keeps this from being an easy A, but ALL information is presented clearly and multiple times if the class asks for it. All the good teacher tricks are used to help you retain the material, jokes, examples, demonstrations etc.

I waited 2 semesters just to be able to have him as my A&P II teacher again, he is that good. I wish him nothing but the best now that he is retiring and I consider myself very lucky for having this last semester with him.

The best professor, hands down! I had him for A&P I lab in the spring and I have him for A&P II lab and lecture this semester. I chose to hold off on transferring school just so I could take his classes. He has just been ranked as the #2 professor in the country, and there are many reasons why. He is retiring after this semester , so I am very thankful I was able to get into his class before it filled up. His classes normally fill up within hours of open enrollment.

The lectures are very enjoyable and informational. Utilize the notes, flashcards and videos on e-learning. The tools are there for you. This was my FAVORITE class & instructor.

DR. Renfore is hilarious in his a and p lectures. IDK how we was in lab but his lectures are spot on. Do not buy the online code as you will not need it and unless you like to read the text book it is not necessary. He has a great... vocabulary to help you understand the lectures and the week before the test he does a review... Record it!

If you want an A, be ready to study. He gives you all of the material you need, but it's up to you to learn it and apply it. You will earn the grade you deserve.
