Worst class I ever attended. Showed up to 90% of my classes, but still had a hard time understanding what the course was about. He is too direct, puts you on the spot, and is not very forgiving. The worst teacher I ever had. Midterm included material never discussed. Mid term marked a week before the final. Did not seem to know the course material. He would just stand there and tell stories un related to anything we were to learn. Final marks adjusted because he didnt teach us anything we were tested on. Avoid at all cost.

Good guy, talks about everything in his life besides marketing. tries to be funny but his jokes are lame, really confusing,. Try not to make noises in his class, do not say anything or else he will get mad cuz he just wants to be the only person talking in the room.

Awful experience, I only missed 1 class and had a Dr. Note.-I still did not understand what the point of this class was-it should of been an elective. Read the material, remember it because you will not get review or support from this man. He is rude, always has excuses for why he is late. It is finals week and I don't have my midterm mark yet.

The worst professor ever.

- makes fun of students from previous semesters who complain about him, implies they are stupid/ dumb. - takes unreasonably long to grade papers and return them. - arbitrarily deducts marks and when asked about it, gives unclear reasons.

He never references the textbook, but if you haven't read it and steeped in it, you'll likely fail your midterm. Get ready to hear about his ex-wife, kids, and his childhood friend Kenny. Oh, and all the renovations on his condo.

Text book exam but never reviews it in class

Lol just to see other students say the same thing that I was dealing with this teacher really does show how bad he is. Now that I am done GBC this semester I can honestly say I had him last fall semester and I still remember him for being the absolute WORST prof I had. Him and Frank Baloney are terrible. Don't know why they're still there.

Very sarcastic and does not go the extra mile for students. Does not give test reviews or an exam review. He does not give out assignments to bump your mark up along with not giving mark updates.

Made the majority of the class redo an assignment, for a mistake he made in his rubric claiming that this has never happened then, gave an extension with a mark deduction for his mistake. He does not go over assignments and expects them to be handed in. Never uses BB and wants everything as a hard copy single sided, with assignments being long (6p)

I didn't learn nothing about the content of the course. He has never mentioned the book or directed us to the final exam. He was just there sharing lots of useless information about his personal life. Too much and unnecessary paper in class and lots of assignments. He is very unorganized and a terrible professor. Don't take his class!

Lectures are useless, talks about a lot of irrelevant things but doesn't use Blackboard so pay attention as to when tests/assignments are due. Calls you out if you aren't paying attention in class. Gives no clear test reviews, just what chapters to study. Not very understanding... blamed us for not doing assignments during the strike.

Lessons do not prepare you for the test. A lot of papers given in class. Teacher does not give you feedback and suggest you drop out of class as soon as the first class has started.

The class of this professor is extremely boring. He provided a lot of group assignments, where we were asked to film short movies. He never uses the textbook, but the slides are totally useless for the tests. If you don't study by the textbook, you will probably get a bad grade.

Do not take this professor! He gives too many examples of his personal life that he loses himself about what he was supposed to explain to us. He doesn't go straight to the point and I hated the way he explained the subjects. He asks students to raise their hands for irrelevant questions. I hated his method!!!

I am taking his Social relation class. I don't really like his teaching method. he gives a lot of examples, sometimes that doesn't make any sense to the context, and I am always got lost. He always gives printed power point, read the powerpoint and give an example which is nonsense. I don't even know how to study for his course.

Try not to take this guy for Marketing. He just talks about himself a lot. You're probably better off skipping his class and using the time to read the text book a few times. At least that will help with the tests. He doesn't care about his students and is usually late. He asks silly questions and expects you to put up your hand way too often.

Loves killing trees and will fail you if your work is not printed. Does not use projector for his work, reads off printed PowerPoint slides. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF.

Terrible professor, although his lectures are well-explained and useful, he is unorganized and unrealistic when it comes to marking and submitting assignment (asked you to screenshot slides as citation and print them out so he can see easier). Every marks won't be submitted until the very end of the semester (passes the course-dropping deadline).

Actually, this is the first professor that I really hate. His lectures are boring and he does not even use the bb. He uses lots of paper. More than you can imagine. He wants everything in hard copy, Especially in group projects... He said that everyone in group needs to have a hard copy. I don't know why, he does not think about the environment

Extremely unreasonable and his explanation are of middle grade child level. I wasn't able to understand a single thing, do not take him

I have never written one of these but I felt like I had to after taking his class. The course itself is really interesting. He sucks as a prof. Takes forever to answer emails and when he does he's extremely, rude. Every class has participation grades but even if you complete it chances are he won't give you full marks. I will never take his class!

Worst professor i have ever had, held 3 hours lectures every week in which he managed to teach nothing. every class we had break out assignments or he made us go listen to power point slides containing 40+ slides all with 3 min voice clips. Does not do test reviews, expects students to read entire text book for final exam and just retain the info

In 3 hours of lecture time, he did nothing. He expected us to go and watch his slides after the dedicated time of the lecture, every week he gave us discussions to do with random due dates. Save yourself and don't take his class. You will be in a loop not knowing where your grades stand as he does not grade them fast enough.

In a 3 hour class he does not open the lectures, but rather he puts us into several break out groups that don't accomplish much. We're expected to go back and re-read the textbook and the slides which is very time consuming. He takes a long time to reply to emails and even longer to mark work. Additionally, he does not give any breaks in class

Worst professor Ive had to date. Super disorganized as he has no idea how to use BB and has everything scattered. Very picky with marking even when you follow exactly what he wants to a T. Inputs wrong marks onto BB, keep an eye out. Doesnt give reviews before tests. Takes forever to mark. Do not take this professor!

William is hands down the most confusing man I have ever met, let alone professor. He is round-about and unclear in everything he explains - especially when it is written. I truly believe he himself does not know what he is even asking of us on assignments. I do not know how he became a professor. Nice enough person, just super confusing. Avoid.

William was one of the first Professors I encountered at GBC. Looking back, I regret not looking him up on RMP before enrolling. His class was very textbook heavy, and he was rude when talking to students. Also, he tries to fit too much information in each lecture that you need to memorize despite being an introductory marketing course. Avoid.

Rose is extremely disorganized.Every class s unclear n boring.He asks us to read his "PowerPoint" presentations during his class, then he makes a breakout room n when we come back someone in the group needs to explain everything. You will have to submit IN-CLASS open questions quizzes(open ONLY during class).I hated his class.DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS.

William has a self-proclaimed unique "sense of humour," which is his excuse to make rude/misogynistic comments to students. Tests are confusing & time limits are set to prevent cheating, but in actuality he's created a model which sets students up to fail due to rushing through each question.Try to register early to avoid William at all costs.

Professor William Rose is dismissive, non-helpful, and at times quite disingenuous. He has made this course extremely difficult for not only me, but several students. He seems to have quite the attitude on him as well as he enjoys taking his anger out on students. If you can avoid having him as a professor please do. Otherwise you will regret it.

Run away, emails dont exist to him, dont ever expect a rubric, sarcastic condescending tone when hes not in a good mood. Never made announcments extremely old school and doesnt seem to care that communication through technology is key. Moral of the story dont bother emailing this dude about absolutely anything.

Awful prof. He knew nothing about being humor, and no human skills as human skill prof. RUN AWAY NOW!

William Rose thinks he's a funny, light-hearted professor but he's none of those things. Instead, he's self-important, egotistical, and rarely teaches anything of value. He threatened a student with bodily harm in my course with him, then tried to explain away his behaviour by claiming he was just "loud" because students didn't sit close enough.

William rose is Very rude he talks as if he's better than he be littles students in very slick ways all his tests and quiz have very little correlation to his lectures and lessons he does not reply to emails in a timely manner he will fail you and give you zeros wit NO feedback I had 7 prof so far and he is by FAR the WORST AVOID HIS CLASS!

Poorly organized courses, unclear assignments can make the learning experience stressful and confusing for students.

Prof. Rose does not create any course materials for his class, but tries to pass his materials off as his own and then doesn't know how to teach from them at all. His inability to teach is only surpassed by his inflated ego and outdated references. Rather than learning anything of value, I was asked 13 weeks in a row if I have a PC Optimum card.

I wanted to give him a fair chance, but I was very disappointed. He closed D2L before grades were visible, and you never get your work back. There is no exam review, assignments are repetitive and worth very little, and the exam can be passed using common sense alone.
