I honestly think that Professor Saltsman is a very hard working teacher who helps students understand math in a way that you could not believe how easy math could be. So if you dont understand math take Prof.Saltsman he is great honestly he is. Sincerly D.W

this is a very good teacher he drops your lowest grade and replaces your lowest score with the final if its better so it counts twice and he is always there for help! bad thing is he keeps you in class the whole time. Otherwise he's good and understandable i failed his class though because of laziness. professor Saltman you rock.

His tests come directly from the hmwk, however he does not teach the material. If you can't teach yourself fm the bk, then I do not recommend taking him. He is a bit boring but really nice. Keep up with the hmwk and you should be ok. It isn't easy but isn't hard.

Extremely nice guy, tests are right from the homework, always willing to help his students, great math teacher, i would recommend him to anyone.

This professor teaches opposite to what the norm is.First the homework is done,then where you have difficulties,you ask questions in the next class. Prof will then go over every questionable problem. He explains thoroughly and patiently. His exams are very fair and he grades accordingly.I really enjoyed his southern laid back approach to teaching.

He is a very good teacher. He makes math very approachable. If you attend class and listen, you can pass his class with ease. He's very realistic and objective with the grades. I enjoyed his class very much.

Just do your homework to get an A on tests. First, study homework. Then ask questions about it. It is very easy to pass that course. Tests are so easy yo won't believe it. Highly recommended.

very nice personality. he is not a "TEACHER". he dosent teach at at all. justs assigns homework. the next class(for the entire class) is spent reviewing homework questions. review for tests(dont count on it) would not recommend

Wonderful man great teacher. No tricks on tests no games no family talks just pure mathematics. If you study the homework he gives you there is no way you can fail. With him no stress just smiles.

He is boring but its easy to get an A in his class! He doesn't really teach that much, you have to use the book to learn! However, he doesn't take attendance, doesn't check homework, and all grades come from the tests. But he drops your lowest test score, and gives partial credit on tests if you rewrite the problem. ITS HARD TO FAIL HIS CLASS!

BORING!!! he takes the whole hour to do 4 examples... 5 if ur lucky. when he explains the problems he goes over EVERY step... which is very helpfull if ur terrible at math. i personaly would finish the problem b4 he was a quarter of the way thru n took a nap n still woke up b4 he was done...

the sweetest person ever easy class and easy test b/s they all come from the exercises we do in class yes he is boring but come on this class is so easy and im so bad at math i got an A and i even miss one of the test and in the others i got like 75 and 80 but he drop the lowest score of the 4 tests,he is easy grading

takes forever to do a single problem that at times becomes annoying but his thouroghness pays off on test days. also gives partial credit

He was my savior in exempting the Math CLAST Part. I needed a B average to exempt the Math Part. I got an A average in his Math class. I wished he taught STA2023 & College Algebra. Very Good teacher I recommend him to anyone.

He's a great professor. He lets you know what is going to be covered on the test. The test is only ten questions. He makes sure you understand the material before he moves on. He really cares about the students. If you need an easy A take him.

The teacher is easy but sometimes its hard to understand him it takes him a while to explain one problem but he is thourgh this is my second time taking him. he is good for people who is not to strong in math.

He only assigned 3-6 easy problems for each section and the tests were even easier. Even then it took him half an hour to solve each problem. Take him for an easy A or if you need someone to hold you hand while he shows you what (-1)*(-1) is. No kidding.

I recommend him to anyone who's not a math person. Trust me I hate math. I don't pass my math classes I always withdrawl. At 1st I was, I am so glad I didnt, I got a B in his 1107 class. Now I dont have to take the clast.

I do so horrible in math. This was my First A ever! Only take him if you are bad at math like me. The ppl who don't need the extra help got frustrated in class. IF you need help please take him & you can't fail.

easy a! must do all homework which is not a problem b/c he doesn't assign very much. tests are directly from homework and classwork.

He is an intelligent person, calculus is a very difficult subject. He spends an excessive amount of time on each proof. But if you pay attention and follow you'll understand. I would RECOMMEND him to anyone who needs calculus.

Cool professor and takes time to explain the problem. Th tests are easy as long as you do the problems for the homework. The professor is willing to help after class if you have any math problems you do not understand. I never thought I would say this but I am going to miss this math class.

very helpful teacher! knows his stuff. he is very nice and isn't strict about attendance but as long as you go everyday and do homework you should be in good shape. he goes over homework daily and tests are not multiple choice. i recommend him to anyone who struggles with math!

OMG! He is great. I have never been good when it cmes to math and he makes me feel brillant. I have never had a math class that I got an easy A in. I do admit that he is a bit repetitve but it helps. If you go toclass and do the homework its an easy A.

Math class was soooo boring sometimes because he is repetitive, but it is good practice for the tests. He is a very nice guy and is willing to give extra help to all that need it and ask. I recommend him.

Professor saltsman is a great professor his is very helpful and amkes sure everybody would understand the material. This class is not a easy class, you have to do HW to pass his test, all the test is base on the HW. So study and you should get a A or B in this class.

The professor is very clear and takes his time explaining the material. He gives 4 test and 1 final. out of the 4 test he drops the lowest and also drops the lowest out of the 3 test and doubles the final exams test if it help. i would recommend this professor, especially for math.

Such a sweet heart...He truly cares about his students and wants them to pass. Will go out of his way to help if you need it. Very repetitive and that helps retain the information. A++++ teacher.

Very nice teacher, I don't like math at all since its my worse subject but if you try hard he sees that you are trying your best he will give you a decent grade. Very repetitive but he wants to make sure you understand. Do your homework b/c its actually going to be on the test and the final is actually the tests that you have done. Good Professor!

Highly recommended!!! He actually makes one enjoy math. Never imagined I could pass Calulus. Prof. Saltsman made that possible.

He is very nice professor and cares alot for his students but he spends alot of time going over homework problems rather than covering new material, those students can get help elsewhere instead of using up the classtime.. he drops a test grade and allows a final to replace one and the test cant get any easier STRAIGHT out of the HW Easy A if u try

No multiple choice here. You must show your work on the tests. He drops lowest grade. Spends all his time going over homework problems. Do your homework and you will do fine. Good over all and very clear

Other than teaching a bit slow and going over EVERY single step to a problem, you have to appreciate the fact that he teaches ALL THE STEPS so for a person who sucks at math, all A's on his tests are possible :). 10 question tests that come from homework assignments so get the gist of what you learned from each chapter. He is an EXCELLENT professor!!! I've waited 2 years just to take him bc his classes were always fulled, thats how good and great of a teacher he is!!! Do yourself a favor and take the Saltman!!

I took him for summer. teacher is extremely easy. do the hw and the tests are easy. multiple choice in fact. He talks like Ben Stein, very monotone but is helpful. Takes forever on 1 problem. wouldn't recommend him if you fall asleep easily.

Professor Saltsman is a very nice guy.His teaching method is so clear.One of the best math teachers. He's kind of slow but worth it.

take him he is the best teacher. pre calc is not an easy class but i was lazy hardley did any homework and still pulled of a B in his class. all his exams are 10 questions and he tells u exactly what will be on the test there are no surpurises.....take him and u can fail

He's a good person at heart ,but he is too slow. He takes forever on one problem and rushes through the last 10-15 minutes to teach the new lesson. Some of the test problem seems like something you was not prepared for because he doesn't give study sheet. You must do the homework and know it 100% so you won't have to guest (A-b-OR C). He's a good professor. Goes step by step with problems. A tad boring, but when you go to him for help or pay attention, you can do well on his tests. Tests usually 10-12 questions, if you go to him before the test he'll tell you exactly what's on the test.

He takes a while to explain a problem, do homework or teach but when he gets there he's clear on his explanations. I took him over the summer for 6 weeks and got an A, and i'm terrible at Math! Take him if you're patient!

Take him if you can't stand math and are just trying to get the required credits. All classwork is directly relevant to the tests. 12 questions, 3 choices each. Easy. Boring, monotonous, and redundant, but it's an easy A if you just sit and take notes.

This is an easy A. All you have to do is go to class, take notes and do the homework. He gets questions from the homework and uses them on the tests. I hate studying and I loved his class. He explains everything clearly and takes his time. He can be boring but he's a good professor. Easy A!

GREAT TEACHER!!! EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND VERY NICE AND UNDERSTANDING. ATTENDANCE HE DOESNT TAKE AND UR GRADES ARE BASED ON HIS 4 TESTS AND THE FINAL. HE DOES NOT GIVE HONMEWORK BUT HE SENDS YOU HOME WITH PRACTICE AND HE IS VERY PATIENCE AND MAKES U UNDERSTAND THE WORK.

He is a good professor explaining things as many times as needed. In comparison with other professors he is straight forward with assignments letting you know what you suppose to learn. His tests are very easy just do the homework. Also, do not miss the classes before the tests because he is going to tell what you are going to be tested on.
