Really solid teacher who will help if you want to be helped. Has a lot of knowledge and experience in what hes teaching but can still allow pretty much anyone to understand the point that needs to come across. Definitely the best professor at palomar for EMT.

EME106 is probably one of the harder classes I have taken in my college career. However, having Skip as a teacher made the class equally enjoyable as it is challenging. The lectures that he gives are interesting & full of information. As long as you pay attention & are eager to learn, you'll pass the class & NREMT! Participation is key in passing!

Skip was an amazing professor during my EMT 106 Course. His personality and energetic lectures make you feel focused. some days you might have a different instructor as a place taker. on those days specifically make sure to go over the book at home for the chapters. The subs felt less in depth. Lots of information. make it easier on yourself. Read.

He offers a variety of resources, ways that we can retain the information, and keeps it challenging so that we LEARN. I'm a better First Responder for having taken his class.

Even though what we learn in class can be challenging, and there is a lot of reading, Mr. Clark makes everything approachable, easier to understand, and insanely cool. Palomar is very lucky to have him as part of their EME department. I can't wait to have him again in paramedic school.

This class you have a couple different instructors. They all are great at adding information to your questions and comments. Book is recommended to pass. Alot of studying goes into this class. Don't be afraid to ask questions. No homework, just study. Quiz every day.

This is a tough class, but for a good reason. You will be expected to study outside of class, but lack no resources in helping you prepare for tests, quizzes, etc. If you apply yourself and pay attention, by the end of the course Mr. Clark makes sure that you are competent and confident in taking your NREMT exam, Final Exam, and practical exam.

I took Skips first 105 class after he spent years teaching the 106 class. He pushes you past the expected level of 105 and instills his students with well placed confidence. He is by far the best teacher I have had.

Skip is the best professor I've had at palomar, he's really funny and makes his lectures more like a story time instead of just data. My grade is my fault, I'm not a good test taker but the way he lays information out is outstanding and prepared all of us very well for EME 106.

I like the way he teaches due to him using real world examples that go along with a lecture. He gives us in an inside scoop of how the the real world works.
