I really enjoyed this class! He's very very helpful and good at breaking things down and making sure you understand what's going on. Exams are challenging yet fair, they never ever test something that you have not covered. I never felt uneasy about aproaching him.

Very helpful, makes it easy to understand, makes learning Trig fun (YAY). Exams were ok, just study. Everything on the exams were covered, nothing tricky or nothing pops out of nowhere on the exam.

Good teacher, explains things really well. For a math teacher he has a good sense of humor too, which is refreshing. He isn't afraid to make subtle jokes about his colluges and higher ups as well as share some funny personal stories. He doesn't really follow the book, and creates his own worksheet packets, but you'll learn the same material.

As far as the ability to teach, this man is the greatest I have seen, EVER! Can actually predict where students will have issues, very strong understanding of what he teaches. The man's classes are so good they fill up real quick. A legendary teacher.

I hate any kind of math! Lets just say I'm really not gifted in that department. But I will tell you this much he is by far one of the most understanding teachers I may have ever had. I took his business calculus class, and surprisingly it wasnt that bad. He is expremely helpful and is an awesome teacher. He is always open to questions and will do anything to make sure you understand what he's teaching. I would highly recommend him.

Trunkhill did what 3 other instructors couldn't do for me before him. He taught me how to understand Trigonometry. He even explained concepts difficult for me to grasp after class. A+ instructor.

Took this class online. Loved it. Very encouraging teacher. Presented each new lesson simply and effectively. He answered email questions promptly, eliminating any confusion. As an engineering student, I worried halfway through I wasn't learning enough. But reviewing the text I saw how many probs i could solve. I wasn't used to learning that easy.

Took this class Spring of 2010 as a prereq for my pharmacy doctorate program. Learned so much so easily and now am helping all my struggling classmates with my notes and homework from the talented Mr. Trunkhill in an upper level statistics course. If Waubonsee doesn't tenure this teacher they are nuts.

By far, he is the best math professor I think I've had. Took him online for trig, I'm IN his calc1 class right now, and next semester, I'll be in his stats. He walks you through using baby steps, homework is never due, but make sure you don't miss his class because he basically throws points at you for coming. You'd be silly not to take his class!

I took Statistics. I've always proclaimed to be math iliterate. Well, Mr. Trunkhill was such a fascinating teacher i Love math now. He really breaks down the work and makes it understandable. you must show up to class - if you miss one lesson you miss the fundamentals for the next.

Trunkhill was professor for multiple calculus classes and differential equations. Favorite teacher throughout entire undergrad and grad degrees, hands down.

Mr Trunkhill is an awesome teacher! He's always willing to help but you shouldn't even need it. His class lectures are so clear and comprehendable. Homework is never due and some people can get away without even doing it as his classes explain everything so well. 80% of your grade is from the 4 tests while the other 20% from in class problems

I took off some points because his exams aren't always very clear especially the general knowledge questions. I found stats to be very easy. I only wished he would have rounded my grade to an A (1.5% away).

I took this class at 7:35am and he managed to keep me awake. His lectures are very clear, and he is so passionate about what he teaches. Throughout his lectures he throws in some of his real life stories, which keeps the class interesting.

Mr. T doesn't require you to buy the textbooks cause they are too expensive (thank god), he always has funny stories (ask about the rockets), and makes math SO MUCH EASIER to learn. literally the best class at this school

I've always had terrible experiences with math classes in the past. Professor Trunkhill was my very first math teacher that I've ever had, that actually made me UNDERSTAND what I was doing. Trunks is by far the best math teacher I have ever had. I took AP Stats in highschool and a lot of it was way over my head, but those same concepts seemed as clear as day when he explained them! Doing your homework is important for this class! It can make or break your grade, and it's all pretty easy. Don't slack on it like I did!!!

I would recommend this professor, he gives a lot of example when teaching which is very helpful and very clear. instead of giving out study guide for the test he will exaplain and write it all down on the board. He also provide a sheet with all the formula use in the class all the homework are printed out and easy to access. hw & notes are helpful.

This is the second class Ive taken with Prof Trunkhill, and he is my favorite math teacher of all time. He makes things so easy to understand, and he does an awesome job of explaining how the stuff you learn is relevant in the real world. Hes really funny, tells great stories, and really prepares you well for Calc 2.

Best math teacher at the school. Is very skilled at what he does and explains things very quickly and effectively so that students can ask questions. He does tell stories though but they are related the class the show you how the concepts are used in real life.

I'm not a math person; I hate this subject and I'm horrible at it. But Trunkhill made the class fun and realistic. I enjoyed his class and learned so much from him about stats. He's very nice and caring and tries to get to know his students. Lectures are funny and homework is just like your tests.

His all online class was extremely organized and clear, which I appreciated during the confusion of having 5 online formats that were not always the clearest. Each week includes 2 ten minute videos that show you clear ways to solve problems. Homework not graded. Great online teacher

Trunkhill is a great professor that offers you math help without making you feel stupid. I thought this class was fairly easy in comparison to literally every other math course that I have taken in the past. There are a lot of real life problems that you solve which made it easy for me to comprehend & maintain the material.

Best math teacher I've ever had. Does a really great job of explaining the "why" along with the "what". Assigns a respectable amount of homework and has a lot of helpful videos for if you get stuck. You can tell he actually cares about teaching people math and he knows what he's talking about.

Even if you get a problem wrong on a test as long as he sees you tried he will give you credit. Awesome teacher all around and if youre taking math then take his class!

Took his Calc 1 class fully in person. Amazing teacher! Class lectures are example driven which were easy to follow. It also follows what's on the HW and tests. There's no quizzes and tests were take-home (he wanted it to be in-person but it couldn't work). Homework is not on Pearson and he provides the answers for the problems. Loved his class! :)
