He is very passionate about his subject, making lectures very enjoyable. Of course, the class is challenging, but if you do the assigned reading from the beginning of the semester, not getting behind, you should do well on the tests. He curves very generously, especially at the end of the semester. I learned a ton in this class.

Amazing! Tries his hardest to engage students and help them learn, not memorize. Incorporates useful demonstrations to drive the point home and is willing to help the students with anything they may need. The class is harder, but he tries to be lenient. Is very passionate about biology, thus making it interesting.

Participation points bring up your grade if you do everything you are told (go to class, get 100s on masteringbiology). It is possible to get an A. I would recommend if you really want to learn.
