Honestly the worst teacher I have ever had. The tests are nothing like the assignments. I struggled to get a C and I am normally an A student.
Ya one of the worst teachers I have ever had!! Very hard and the tests seemed way harder then the assignments he would give out!!! I really don't recommend him at all.
his lecture was bad. He didn't return us the mid exam, other tests, and homework. I din't know he checked the tests or where I mistook. He often gave us pop quiz. Pop quiz is hard for students. I think many students get D or F in his classes.
He was the one of the worst instructors in my life. I suppose most of my classmates got C, D or F from him. His class was boring, so some (10 to 15 students) withdraw his class. I don't think he likes teaching. I wonder why he decided to be a math instructor.
I got F from him. My midterm exam was OK, so I would get C at least. His evaluation was rough. He is very stuborn, so I didn't ask him about my evaluation after I got the score. He didn't tell us our scores before final exam. He often gave us homework, and we passed him them. But he didn't return us them. (never). He was the worst!!
did not care for him
He Sucks! If you take him you'll be retaking the course.no hmwk to turn in. not helpful with hmwk questions. all comments are true. he's only there to recieve a check. not into teaching, and helping you pass.
This professor CLEARLY loves to teach, but he dislikes teaching classes that are disinterested in learning math. If you need someone to hold your hand while learning math, he is not the professor to take.
doesn't not accomidate with students
No homework, and he doesn't take questions.
This was very difficult teacher even for taking this class twice. He answered no homework questions in class. You had to do that during office hours. Out of 22 original students there was only 7 of us who took the final. He did not give very good explanations of the material being taught. I would avoid this teacher if possible.
When you talk to him in private, he was more helpful than during a class. He is no-nonsense. You are basically only being graded on your tests so if you do poorly on tests, I don't recommend.
Mr Young is a great teacher. He has a no-nonsense approach and teaches the straight forward steps to setting-up and solving a problem. I learned a lot in his class.
This teacher didnt have the time to answer questions. He expected to say things once and you are supposed to get it. DO NOT take this teacher unless you already know everything about Algebra.
He blatantly comes out and says that he could care less whether you leanr or not. 70% of the class failed and he didnt give a crap.
If you don't read the book and/or you need someone to hold your hand through math don't take him. If you are willing to read the book and take notes BEFORE you go to the lecture then you will do fine.
Great instructor for adult learners! He has a no non-sense approach. He encourages students to make mistakes on problems during class (so you get it right on the tests). Very structured! You know from day 1 what to expect & the grading structure. Clearly doesn?t have time for the typical 13th grader.
Writes way too small, talks to the board, always seems craby, You daze off ten mins into class, not very exciting.
Professor Young is a great professor. I took Young for Math 10 and Math 70. had a bad experience with another professor for Math 30. Young follows the syllabus 100%. Exams are tough, but as long as u show work, know what your doing he get partial credit. Hands out 10 pt hmwk assighments that help raise your grade. I wish Young taught 1061.
Mr.Young is a good teacher, but he don't have time to answer any question and he is not approachable. I think his teaching style is fit for math 70 and above. But he's ok
Young it a great professor. I have taken him for Math 10 and now Math 90. Over other professors at Century, I would take him for my other two courses if he was the assigned professor.
He definitely has a gruff demeanor but he's not all that bad. His tests aren't very hard if you actually take the time to learn the material (which I didn't and did poorly). However, if I actually did put the effort in, there probably wouldn't been a problem getting an A or B in his class.
Not approachable in the least. Very educated and he loves the subject, but he definitely does not like students and he loves to give a hard time over small things.
RUN AWAY!!!! Loves math but hates teaching and seems annoyed when you ask questions. I was actually scared to talk to him and ask questions. Do not take his class unless you are good at math and already know the material
This professor is unprofessional and unapproachable. He treats the course like everyone should already know the material prior to lecture.Disregards student questions and concerns. Stated in class numerous occassions that if we do not understand the material to go find another instructor and that he does not care because he is getting paid anyways.
This guy is not approachable what so ever. He does not answer questions because he says there is no time. He lectures more than actually doing the problems. He never smiles. He should be drill sergeant to make a long story short. Do not take him.
He is a very good teacher. He is strict, but fair. He teaches the straight forward steps to solving a problem. I learned a lot in his class.
Never available or willing to help, gets upset if class had questions, said he already told and us there's no time to reteach it. He is not friendly at all. He will look at you like your dumb and seem irritated. Would not recommend him at all. Take Julia Ratnasamy! Retook this class with her and got an A!
Very hard subject especially if you have never been introduced to Statistics. Has unreasonable office hours. Rarely answered questions in class. Seemed to favor a few students and help them a lot more, especially on tests. The textbook is based on a definition and examples and test completely reword and switched around.
This guy totally sucks and is a waste of your time and $$. Take Mike Raney, he gave me an "A" after Mr. Young told me that I was unteachable.
This guy has no interest in actually teaching. He told me that it would be in my best interest to drop the class because I wasn't smart enough to pass. I took the class from A.Canavan and got an A! This guy is a jerk and should be let go from Century College.
If you do the homework he assigns, do the problems he assigns and ask questions you will have no problems with this course. Ask questions during discussions. Some make him out to be awful and I disagree.
Excellent teacher! You better do ur homework and read the book if you want to succeed in his class. Yes, he strict, but fair. My math was not so good, now I doing very well in math. I think even donkey will good in math after his class. Good teacher!
WORST. TEACHER. EVER. I really recommend you NOT take his class. Find another professor. He is horrible. Not only does he talk right into the board but he doesnt explain things but just does it as if we know exactly how to to it. Unreasonable. Unapproachable, why is he teaching? Fire him.
Avoid this instructor like the plague! He does not take the time to cover questions in class. I aproached him after class and he smelled like he just walked out of the bar, and blew me off. Math is not as hard as he makes it! He is very confusing, and hard to follow.
I also took him for math 30 and I am looking forward to taking him again. He is very to the point, but will answer any questions you have (sometimes they have to be outside of class) I think it's great that he prioritizes class time and puts teaching everyone above individual questions when absolutely necessary.Great teacher very honest and helpful
First of all, this is college, you better do the work or you will fail. Bill knows his stuff. He answer questions not i the nicest way sometimes, but if you do the work you will get a god grade. This teacher basically forces you to learn by doing the homework
Not willing to help outside of class and he gets irritated when you ask him a question :(
Gets mad when you ask him questions, doesn't focus on main points when teaching, made ALOT of mistakes. Knows his stuff, but just doesnt teach it right. favors kids that actually understand whats going on, but doesnt like helping kids who dont, teaches different than the textbook, so the textbook is useless.
He does not TEACH. I asked a lot of questions but he either tells you that you need to read the book, or that you should have learned that in the last class.
He is tough but fair. You have to do your homework to learn math!
Attendance is Mandatory!! I showed up to every class, did the homework, Mr. Young was very helpful, over all, best Math Class I have had.
Graded too hard, used a 3rd party computer program for 25% of his grade. DO NOT TAKE WITH HIM
Am a straight A student. This guy should be running marine camps. He is a ruthlessly hard grader. No extra credit, NO curve even though over half of my class failed/withdrew. Stay away from this guy. DO NOT TAKE WITH HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!
About half of my class dropped because it was hard but if you sit up front do the work and study you will be fine. Some of the people in my class seemed like they should be in a lower math. the only bad thing is a computer assignment that is NOT 25% of your grade. good teacher if you want to learn.
I cannot believe this guy is aloud to teach. He pretty much talks to himself the whole clas, can't do half of the problems himself, writes super tiny on the board, and he moves sooo fast. He does not answer questions, and does a horrible job at explaining things. Math is my favorite subject, and I literally hate this class so much. Just awful.
Stay away!!! Teachers are supposed to teach. Not everybody learns at the same speed. Worst teacher Ive ever had. If you dont believe me by all means take him. You have been warned!
So the class average for our exam was 53%. This test is a third of our grade and half the class failed. He is horrible. This is just one example of many that you should not take him.
Screws up when writing problems, uses "R", an impossible computer program, to do all homework. After buying mandatory $160 book, told class on first day that we cant use it because everything he teaches will be his way. I asked him a question before class. He laughed and told me to go sit down... ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE
Just don't bother taking a class with this guy. Every good rating on here was probably from a low-level math class. It is a struggle to get a B. Avoid. Avoid. AVOID.
Not the easiest teacher doesn't engage any of his students, doesn't really answer questions if you stay after class to ask him something he tries to rush through the answer and get you out of the classroom or his office, he doesn't give out any review sheets for the tests he says to use the books review tests but he doesn't go off them.
I am a very good student and understand mathematics well. This guy makes everything impossible. I had 2 math tutors help me prepare for every test every time for atleast 6 hours and I still got B/C's. Test questions were "tricky" and never covered in class. I am confident that with the effort alone I put forth I deserved a B. I am Very unsatisfied.
He knew what he was doing, but he wasn't very good at explaining the chapters. Sometimes he would make mistakes and go back in a problem to fix it. That would always confuse me especially if the material was hard.
Mr. Young is a highly unorganized professor. While instructing he seems abrasive and rushes every lesson. When asked questions he usually gives a wrong answer, laughs about it, then forgets to answer the actual question. When going to see him during his office hours, he was inpatient and seemed annoyed. I do not recommend him at all.
Nice enough guy and easy to talk to, but makes relatively simple concepts unnecessarily difficult to understand. Test questions are difficult and don't necessarily line up with the textbook. Teaches the harder material which is nice but trips himself up on it at the same time.
Great teacher. Straight forward, keeps on track. Always willing to help and listen. Prefers for you to ask questions if you do not understand. Great pace, kind, speaks clearly. Human. This was my second time taking this Math class, due to non transfer credit at Metro State, I felt I learned more in his class that I hadn't been taught previously.
Great teacher. Stays on track, keeps pace flowing. Do your homework, ask questions if you do not understand, and show up for class. I enjoyed this class and felt I learned more than I expected. He is a very nice man, helpful, and likeable. But yes he is to the point.
He does not know how to teach. That's it. He does not make eye contact with students. When asked a question, he gets confused and has to stop and think. He keeps on making mistakes when solving a problem which gets really complicated if you are trying to learn and he keeps messing up and has to redo the whole problem. Exams are really hard too.
Just one thing: STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOURSELF!!!
The worst instructor in century college. He doesn't learn his material prior to class. He was always having hard time solving the questions he brought in class. He talks to the board. When u ask him question, he gets irritated and ask you to wait later. His syllabus, no exams & projects specific days. Even things to learn next day. Don't take!!!
Not helpful, depended on you to learn, if you didnt learn at his pace that was to bad, he moved on. seemed to rush through everything... he seemed uninterested in teaching basic math
One of the worst math professors ever. Horrible knowledge on the material and cannot possibly comprehend a questions. Treats students terribly and tests on things never covered in class. Don't take this guy's classes.
He doesn't seem like a good fit to teach the subject. He often got ahead of himself and confused in his own teaching, and making mistakes is one thing, but he made so many that it affects learning. He also throws in problems on the exam that aren't taught or covered in the book, so best of luck. And he's not the most approachable
Takes what could be a simple concept, and explains it unitil students dont understand it.
Attendance isn't mandatory but he likes to randomly hand out problems to turn in next day so if you miss, you loose a lot of points. He is not easy to approach, he does not understand the concepts himself. If you ask him questions, he'll tell you that you needed to learn that material in a lower class and just move on. A.V.O.I.D. P.L.E.A.S.E.
Nice guy but I would not recommend his class. He makes simple concepts more complicated than it should be. It is very common for him to make several of mistakes while working out problems. Tests are tough, and he tries to make it tricky for us as well. There is rarely homework that is due, so majority of points will come from difficult tests.
Very nice guy. Was always able to help, he would often stay after class and has clear office hours. However, he flew by concepts and neglected many students whom he did not feel close to. He made the class material seem easy and then put the toughest problems he could find on the test, often difficult examples not similar to those done in class.
Great professor, really nice, and has great personality. The class is difficult but it is a math class. Most homework is optional however you should do it. Nicest math professor i have ever had and my favorite class that semester. Work hard and you will pass.
He's an amazing person, really passionate about math. He's available anytime during his office hours and after class, and is always eager to help. However, his lectures aren't very clear, and he can rush topics. The tests were significantly harder than the examples shown in class, but the curve is nice. If you like to participate, take him.
Mr. Young is highly misunderstood. He is caring, and sincerely wants to help anyone who asks for it. Yes, he is a different character and has his moments as everyone in life does also. He has rushed through some topics, but if you ask him to expound he breaks it down to the simplest form--no pun intended.
Doesn't answer questions, little to no time for mistakes, class schedule is so tight that we were always behind! Not able to ask questions on assignment points/quizes
First of all, I can't believe what students commented about Mr. Young. I think they don't like math and they are not interested in Math at all. My opinion about Mr. Young he is great math instructor and he is very smart. His exams are super easy and he assigns graded homework from time to time like four or five times whole semester. Go for him.
Nice guy, but I wouldn't take his class again. Poor teaching skills, talked to the board, often made mistakes while doing an example. If you didn't understand something, he would tell you that you should have learned it in a lower math level. Very little homework is actually due so you need to earn your points from difficult tests.
Mr. Young is a caring and very nice teacher. Everything students need to do is ask him when the problem seems too tough. He will explain right in class if that is a common issue, otherwise, he will do it after class. When he says you need to move to lower level, that means you miss the base knowledges for this class.
It's not just about him making mistakes, he will spend a ton of time trying to figure out where he went wrong. Even when the mistake is simple and is pointed out, he will spend 10-15 minutes trying to find the mistake himself. He is a nice guy, he obviously cares about his students and his subject, but not a very good teacher.
i feel hes a bit old fashioned and a get it done kind of guy and is misunderstood by our generation, but if you have questions he will do everything in his ability to help you. you just have to ask him and take responsibility for what you need help with
He is a very supportive teacher with great office hours. The class was full of examples, and as a visual learner, this was incredibly helpful. Previous comments say he spends time correcting himself, but in the long run the examples and "homework" (practice problems) make the class very easy.
He's a nice guy. I think he cares about student success and mental health. He's a bad teacher though. Doesn't put anything online, class seems disorganized, just reads from slides which are snipped from the book (why even have lecture?) - very boring, not great at explaining things. Not too hard, but pretty frustrating.
The professor is easily accessible outside of class and lists the hours he's available. He is very dedicated to math; however, his teaching style wasn't for me. His lectures appear disorganized, he does not upload notes on D2L, and he yells at the class a lot for not knowing the material even though we haven't gone over it yet.
taking his class right now. half the class has dropped . i am doing well in the class but many arent. he doesnt like when no one participates. the class its self isnt that hard if you do the work
BEWARE!! Mr. Young is a nice person but horrible teacher. His method of teaching is to work out problems on the board and you're supposed to learn by watching and following along. Also if you ask a question he answers like you're stupid. 2/3 of the class is from tests, no extra credit, however, he does give points on tests for showing work.
Taking Calc 2 with Bill young wasnt a great experience. It is obvious that he hasnt kept up on the material, is frequently incorrect in his lectures, and he seems to only know how to do the problems he has solved out. He is a nice guy who is caring and wants students to succeed, but second semester calculus isnt a class he should be teaching.
Bill is a very nice man but isn't the best teacher. He wants students to do well and succeed but doesn't explain things very well. The class I took was 2 and 1/2 hours long twice a week and he wrote on the whiteboard and did problems all for except 10 minutes. If you ask for help outside of class he will gladly help but don't expect much in class.
This is my second class with professor Young and Im going to take more classes with him. He never refuses to help or explain material one more time if you dont get it. He do not babysitting you, but if you want to study you will pass this class. Im returning student and because of Mr Young I start believe in myself as a math student
Most of the class time is spent staring at his back while he does really easy example problems then gives homework that's way more difficult. He is a nice guy tho if you talk to him
nicest math professor ive ever had. if you take this class and pass you will 100% be ready for calc 2, as the level of difficulty this class has over other calc 1 classes leaves you with more experience in the "subtle" math skills. dont take if you want an easy pass. 70-80% fail rate on tests.
Professor Young's Calculus 1 course is very straightforward. He typically will go through a section of the class by handing out a sheet of paper containing notes from the textbook. Then, he solves easy example questions so students grasp the overall idea. His class was graded entirely off of 3 tests (final included) and around 8 homework assignmts.
I took Calc 1, 1081 at Century College. Final grade was based off of 100 points of homework (7 assignments) and 200 points on test (50, 50, and 100 for final). To learn the curriculum I had to go to other sources. Most of the time I could not see what was written on the board because he was standing in front of it. I recommend NOT taking his class.
Avoid him at all costs. He does not care about students failing and will not hesitate to fail 80% of the class on tests, and give pop quizzes. The entire grading criteria consists of 2 tests, about 7 homework assignments (2-3 pop quizzes), and a final. The final had topics in calc 2 and probability and statistics in a calc 1 class
Overall he is straight forward and fair but he does not teach you the material but rather assumes you to teach yourself. You are graded mostly on exams with no grading based on homework.
I'd only recommend taking his statistics course if you want to blow your money. He refused to give lectures, short explanation videos, or TEACH ANYTHING. INSTEAD, he assigned textbook chapters for reading and gave students 2 days to complete homework that was not explained in the chapters. He didn't teach, or instruct, which is his job.
Not a good teacher. He does not give lectures or even videos, just reading and documents. For our first assignment, I used all the content he provided us. Unfortunately, that got me a C grade. He said we were wrong, but he never told us how to solve problems that way. He also expects us to Google stuff. I'd say dropping is the best option.
Mr. Young is a helpful teacher during his office hours but he does a lot of lectures. Everyday was notes on top of notes. He rarely has review days and wanted students to learn by themselves with the notes we did in class. I would recommend reading and doing some problems to pass! Gives you credit for showing work so that's a plus.
Online disaster. He basically would have you read the textbook then post assignment questions and tests. Some could be quite challenging. He would post notes that didn't help at all. He would also post HW on D2L and except you to email it to him 24 hours after it was posted. I missed 2 assignments so I got the worst grade I've had at century.
Very inconsiderate of students and when they are respectfully communicating with them
He does not communicate well at all. He expects us to email him homework within 6 hours of him posting it. This was only on Wednesdays, but he didn't show us how to solve anything and expected us to just read out of the textbook to figure it out. I ended up watching YouTube to learn how to solve the homework. All in all terrible teacher
Mr. Young is a terrible teacher who has no organization and no structure to his class. You are left to teach yourself with no way to look at assignments and no lectures to watch. This was the worst class I have ever taken.
Had a very hard time communicating my struggles with him. Was very dismissive of all concerns I had with the class. Get ready to teach yourself everything.
Teach yourself if you take this professor. No zoom meetings, no class discussions, notes-what notes! Very derogatory if you ask a question that he thinks is stupid. No participation with the class at all and when you reach out it seems he has no time for students. I dropped his class in the 3rd week and it was the best choice I made all year!
This is the worst professor at century. Hes rude and unprofessional. All future students refrain from taking his courses in the future.
I had no problems with math whatsoever until I took Young. Honestly, why is he allowed to teach? Barely teaches any material and expects you to be an expert. Save yourself by taking someone else. You will NOT learn anything from Young.
took online course and notes were from SUB notes from 2012 (yes you could see the date). never gave feedback on quizzes/tests besides grade. never graded (expected you to keep track), notes were 6+ pages long each. no videos or lectures. be expected for random things on the test that you didn't learn and homework/quizzes due on one day.
Worse Professor I have ever had at Century. He is horrible and make it seem as if he does not care about his students. AVOID taking his class at all cost.
I honestly don't understand how this class is even legal. There are no lectures, and very dated notes if you are lucky. this course is the equivalent of going to buy a math textbook and reading it, that is the WHOLE CLASS. it's nearly impossible to contact for help on th same day. if you want to actually learn calculus I suggest looking elsewhere.
Uses old notes from years ago. Like many professors now, most problems are from online sources instead of his own. Hw/exams given regularly as expected. Main issue was he doesn’t include feedback to the work. I pay THOUSANDS for school and EXPECT good feedback/course materials, like how you expect good work from students. That too much to ask?
I'll be the first to finally give Mr.Young some slack. He is a nice guy okay. I can tell he really has a passion for math and he gets excited when someone blurts out the answer in class. I was debating on dropping the class within 2 weeks of starting but I'm glad I didn't. Once you make a connection and get to know him, he truly does care. Patience
Nice guy but his teaching is just the example problems from the textbook
The hate for this guy is overrated. We are in 2022; there are infinite online resources to learn calculus. He was an alright professor - 3/5. The class was structured such that homework was mostly optional (which I liked) There were about three total actual homework assignments, two exams, and a final.
If you are going to take Young as a professor, be prepared to teach yourself every single unit but still be caught off guard with the questions on quizzes and tests. Even if you're a math god, you probably wont be satisfied with your grade unless you go more than above and beyond with self teaching and studying. locked office ours door too lol.
3 tests and 4 homework assignments comprise your entire grade. You have to pay attention, take notes, and actively study to do well. Very clear with help, but he keeps the course going along at a swift pace, so if you get behind you need to get back on track asap.
If you're not naturally gifted at math, don't bother taking this class. Don't expect any help from him. I went to his office hours for help, was met with an eyeroll and was told to "just google it". Often has rude responses when asked questions in class. No retakes, no extra credit. Over half my class dropped out.
He gives you two hours of problems and nothing else and expects you to pass the tests with flying colors. The textbook is useless, youtube and math websites are your friend. He reads out names of kids who will fail the class after the first test. Be prepared for half the class to be gone midway through the course. He gets annoyed at questions too
Do not take this class. No matter how much you think you and prepare yourself. This Professor is terrible at teaching. There is no engagement. He does not teach you. He uses outdated materials. You sit there and watch him solve all the problems himself. You will only see his back 80% of the lectures. 2/3 of my class dropped out as Midterm hits.
I ended up dropping this course after the first test. Few graded homework assignments, and absolutely no feedback... just "?" on incorrect answers. He spends his class periods incorrectly doing problems on the board while we are supposed to teach ourselves with the book. Retook the course with another professor and it's much easier.
Don't take this professor as your math class, you're better off going online or a different professor although I do not know how well they teach. This teacher is very strict about what you can do and can't do, like you can be talking in class, using the bathroom during class, or leaving the class early. His teaching abilities aren't great also.
Not a bad professor, but you need to be very attentive during lectures because they may move fast. A good amount of the total grade is homework, which is helpful if you're not a great test taker. Just put in a decent amount of effort, and it's a great class.
He would only talk to the wall. he would get mad if he made a mistake and would take half the class to figure out what went wrong
Seems like a nice guy but exams are very difficult and have questions unlike those from class. You're only graded on 3 homeworks, 3 exams, and the final. I don't think he is very good at explaining steps to problems. Most of the class dropped out.
Great class to take if you already know everything that will be taught. Basically goes through problems for 2 hours, doesn't stop to explain his steps, is very harsh when you need to leave class early. I learned more in the Math Help center in 1 hr than I did in 10 lectures. Not looking fwd to failing the final rn
Dr. Young's old-school teaching style makes his class a little tougher, but it encourages real learning. He's incredibly knowledgeable, and his office hours are essential—he can't answer what you don't ask. It's better to ask basic questions there than fail later. The class is challenging but fun, and his passion for teaching makes it worthwhile.
Take this professor if you're good at math, there's almost no homework and there's only a few short tests, and you can leave class if you finish early. Don't take this professor if you struggle with math, he doesn't explain what he's doing, he just talks to the wall the whole time and you can barely hear him.
You are graded on 4 exams and 8-10 assignments. You track your own grade. The exams are harder than the hw and examples in class. You get a half completed syllabus with no indication on exam dates. Your warning is a 1.5 week advance surprise. No one got thw final done d/t the difficulty level. Nice guy though, just not equipped to teach.
He had a hard time engaging students with the material. We were told to do the HW because it was gonna be on the exam. No such thing. The exams are super hard and there's very few assignments to distribute the exam scores. Nothing is planned, only walk-in surprises. Don't take math with him.
Professor doesn't teach well. Your entire grade is limited on just a few graded assignments and exams. The only thing going for you is the curve in grading. Don't bother doing the HW bcz its not on the exams. Just be prepared to fail if you aren't a math wiz. Spend your student loans elsewhere.
Prepare to teach yourself every unit - Young keeps the pace fast and offers little support. But unstuck study was a lifesaver for study prep and acing the tests.
homework didn't relate to assignments or tests. little notice before exams. you have to teach yourself because he would just go through problems for 2 hours without explaining what he was doing. he would forget how to do the problems and would just sit there for 30 minutes. really difficult to succeed. DO NOT take this professor.
Negative: Majority dropped the class. Is unprofessional and unhelpful. I have never had problems with math, but his class made me more problems than solve them. ATP, just watch YouTube to teach yourself. Take a different teacher or save your money. Positive: Homework was mostly optional, I got some good naps in that class :)
Mr. Young was maybe not the best at etaching new stuff, and in the beginning I was genuinely scared of him. He seemed like he didnt really wanna be there, and amde sure to let us know. But one day I had a breakdown after class about my grades, he comforted me and made sure I was able to keep up for the rest of the semester. 5/10, sympathy points
I liked how he wrote the homework problems on the board for us before the beginning of class, and how he thanked us for participating during lecture when we did. Thank you for an amazing course, Mr. Young!
