Professor Kwong is a really great professor. I really didn't know if he would be a great professor to take till I took him this semester for both chd classes chd10 and 17. I really recommend professor kwong

Professor Kwong is a good teacher. If you do the work, you will get a good grade. Although it was an online class, this class was interacting and consistent. Quizzes/discussions every week, 2 exams, 1 final, and assignments. Make sure you read the book and listen to his lecture. I highly recommend taking this class!

Great teacher. Responds fast to emails, always there to offer support and answer questions. Quizzes were every week which use proctorio to record you taking exam which was new and uncomfortable. Some projects can be a bit unclear and confusing. Midterms for me were hard but quizzes were fair. He grades easy and overall easy A if you do everything

He is Awesome. He is ready to help whenever needed. During this COVID 19 situation, he was very particular about our well being and he also sends us the articles which help children at home during this quartine period.

Professor Kwong is fair; he is willing to accommodate (to a certain extend) the needs of students. He cares about what he teaches and wants the students to understand what is important to be a good teacher. Professor Kwong does his research. But I recommend he reduces his reliance on multiple choice tests to evaluate students.

amazing teacher!! took his online course from august to december and it was very easy. i didnt have a textbook for the course bc i couldnt afford it at the time but i managed to have an A the entire class. he gives great feedback and his lecture videos are actually really helpful. the zooms were mostly us discussing the topic 4 the week.

This is my first class with Prof. Kwong and I have learnt a lot from his lectures. He gives exercises in class for students to understand the concepts better especially for someone who is new to the subject. His break out rooms were very helpful to connect with classmates and it allowed us to get eachothers perspective on the same subject.

I took this class for the spring semester during the pandemic. He reminds us to utilize the school resources such as the food assistance and other school events going on. The online course is a bit lecture heavy, but it's mostly multiple (15 minutes at most) prerecorded videos. This semester was open book quizzes, he is very fair.

He is an awesome teacher to have. His lectures or so simple and to the point. If you are honest and ask for more time on homework assignments and projects, he will give you more time. Homework in this class is fairly easy. You are writing on paper just as much as you are typing on your computer. I 100% recommend taking this teacher.

He is a great professor and is very understanding! He tries different teaching styles which is nice. Only thing I would say is that for the final in his observation class, it's a parent teacher conference but he doesn't really explain or spend a lot of time talking about it which made me feel unprepared.

I was inspired when Professor Wong said "Before we became student we first became human". This words inspire me for not being so feel pressured in the class because this kind of teacher knows how to understand the life of a student and willing to help. I like how he intermix the class during group activity for us to get to know more our classmates.

I'd love to take his classes again because of his great support, and good feedback for his students to keep improving and striving throughout the course. What he taught his students not only applies to his classes but also to other aspects of his student's life. He always tries to make sure everyone in the class becomes more engaged in class.

I love that he understands how much mental health matters and is very lenient. This class is very lecture oriented so it is very important to take notes of what is being said. If you're the type who isn't very good with papers you should use all available resources and plan accordingly as to not fall behind.

Super chill guy! He really wants you to succeed and gives lots of extension and extra credit opportunities. Just be sure you're ready to do child observations every month or so (I took this in the fall), but he's not a harsh grader at all and not too much reading in the textbook (free btw!). Would recommend to anyone for sure
