Easy going and understanding. Very helpful if you need it. She is a little eccentric and wears tennis shoes with business suits, but it is part of her charm. Probably the most fun professor in the Urban Studies dept.

she's really good... to good to be true... she tells you every question thats gonna be on the test.. and is straught forward with everything.. no guess work there... and she also puts all the notes on her page so you dont have to take notes..

Prof Weizer is a riot. She was great all-around, and makes stats easy if you attend class and do the homework. She is more than fair on grading, especially for those that make an effort.

If you are not a fan of math and have to take Stats, I recommend this class. Prof Weizer is pretty awesome.

Was one of my first professors and didn't like her then but after experiencing more classes and styles I realize she was really good. Cared about her subject and her students. Class was fairly easy but still very informative. Pace was relaxed. Take the actual class not the online one (unless you're shy). The interaction is what it's all about.

She's passionate about what she teaches, but presents scientific phenomena she believes in that have not been proven as fact. Also, she clearly has students she does not like. You slip up once (arrive late, ask a question that's already been answered), she'll be rude to you from then on. She can be snotty when answering questions.

Great prof. she teaches everything well and puts all powerpoints online, gives help sessions for assignments, and study guides for tests and extra credit. very willing to help you and understands when things come up. Easy class if you dont get a B or higher theres something wrong. She keeps things interesting and is very fun.

She tries to make stats pretty clear, and she does a good job. She teaches fast, so take good notes. Homework is mandatory and takes hours to do, so do it. She tries to plan the grading scale out so you can't fail. She tries to make it fun-interesting. I'd recommend her. There is also a TA that offers tutoring.

She is funnty and keeps the class interesting. She understands we are all human and does not beat students with authority like some professors do. Her stats class was very easy.

An extremely engaging and entertaining lecturer, probably the most skilled lecturer I've ever had. Could be a little harsher on grading. Seems a little cynical, and snaps at students on occasion. Also seems bothered when approached after class. But overall, she's really good. I do recommend. Good lecturer.

Good lecturer, but YOU WILL ACTUALLY HAVE TO STUDY TO GET A GOOD GRADE. While she does tell you everything to know, there is a considerable about of information to get through, and her tests are fair, but very thorough. I suggest studying early and often. You can tell that she is very knowledgeable.

For a 400 level course, this was the easiest class I've ever taken. Weizer is really great at explaining the concepts and she'll stop the class if you don't understand something. She lets you use notes on all tests and she even has a tutor available. She really wants students to learn. Definitely recommend her for a math credit.

The course material was boring but easy. Before every test she has a review day in class and tells you everything you need to know. As long as you show up and turn in the assignments you will pass. There were 2 papers and 2 shorter assignments, but she guides you through them so they are extremely easy. Very helpful professor

If ever a class was worth going to please take this one. Prof. Weizer makes learning stats real easy and above all the class is not boring at all. She makes sure you have no fear asking her to explain the course material. I would recommend her class to any student wishing to take stats, she makes it interesting and worth coming to class.

I really loved her! Her class with quick and painless and interesting. Her reviews for tests are clear cut and her applications are quick and simple. I would definitely take another class with her and I'm not even an Urban Studies major.

Weizer is one of the best teachers here at CSU. She sets the grading and class up so every student has a chance to do well. I go to every class and I have found that attendance is necessary to do well. She doesn't take attendance everyday, it's random. She will mention things in her lectures that will be on the test that aren't found in the book.

Weizer is great! I like that she relates the topics in class with our lives and the effect humans have on the environment. She also gives good guidance for the homework assignments and she will give you feedback to make any changes if you submit it before the due date. She gives good exam reviews too. Follow the instructions and you'll get an A.

It's a pretty boring class, but she makes the material clear. SHE CARES IF YOU DO WELL IN HER CLASS. It seems like she'll do everything in her power to make sure you understand the material. And she's funny. Absolutely loved her.

She really cares about you and will do anything to help you get through this. Makes Stats less scary. If you aren't great at math and are worried about taking Stats, take this teacher, you will excel. She makes it bearable. I wish she taught every subject. Awesome teacher, loved her.

I've taken her twice and I think she is more-than-fair, and really seems to go the distance to help students that are struggling. Class is straightforward, organized, and the homework is useful not busywork. Really knows subject. However, she jokes about being cranky- but she actually is. May snap at you if you ask a question she thinks is dumb.

I really like this class. She gives two midterms and a final. She also gives students ample amount of time to turn in homework if you miss the deadline, basically you had the whole semester to get in homework. She jokes a lot in class and makes sure that everyone in the class succeeds.

I was terrified to take stats but she made it really easy to understand. She give these in class projects which are just examples of the material that are really helpful when preparing for the test. She lets you use notes on the tests as well so you don't have to remember formulas. She was really helpful and I would take her again.

Professor Weizer truly cares about the success of her students, she believes that you are capable of doing far more than you give yourself credit for. While she doesn't really follow the syllabus, she makes it easy to pass stats. Show up to class, get tutoring, bring notes for your learning enhancers and tests, do the work and you will be fine!

Good professor. She has a comical approach to things but also makes sure you learn. She goes over what will be om an exam during the last class before and exam. Very helpful and understanding with homework and isn't afraid to admit when she is wrong.

At first i didn't like her, because she flies through the power points way too fast, but she makes the homework assignments and tests really easy. Its almost hard to get a bad grade. She's actually a really great professor, and you can tell that she wants everyone to succeed.

100% best professor I have had at Cleveland State so far. She wants everyone to do well, and will answer any questions you have. She can be really funny and fun. Definitely one of the best at CSU. She cares about her students and teaches statistics from an approach that everyone can understand, using lots of examples and practice problems which helps familiarize us with the material. Grading criteria is very clear, concise, and easy to follow. Weizer makes stats less troublesome for the students.

Winnie is a hoot! Her teaching style ensures that everyone is up to speed before moving on. Her syllabus isnt set in stone. The class is completely dependent on student success. Her wit and sense of humor makes learning the material a lot easier.

Professor Weizer is one of the best professors I've ever had. She truly cares about her students' success and isn't really a hard grader. She does in-class reviews before exams, which are really helpful. The class was actually really interesting and is the perfect choice for a gen ed.

The tests can be difficult but as long as you take good notes they arent that bad. She really wants her students to pass so she gives opportunities to fix things. Professor Weizer comes off as a tough teacher, but I think it's because she teaches tough subjects. If you try, you'll always get partial credit; I was surprised at how well I did considering how much I struggled. She was the first stats teacher I had who actually helped me understand the how and why. She really saved my GPA and my confidence.

Really great professor, Ive taken multiple classes with her and did well in them all. She will answer questions thoroughly and make sure every student understands the material before moving on. Two pages of notes front and back can be used on every test and she always writes formulas on the board.

ms weizer on here seems to get a bad rap. she truly is involved in all classes that she teaches, if though there are some tangents here and there. for a science gen ed 289 is a real gem. if you dont care you can pass easily, if you do you can learn a large amount. put time into getting to know her, youll be rewarded.

Professor Weizer is a professor I respected a lot during my time in her class. I recommend sitting in the front of the class if you can and taking hand written notes, either with the slides or in a regular notebook. Electronic notes require seats in the back and for them to be emailed to her directly after class. Lots of papers, but really easy.

Very detailed lectures. Says a lot of things in class that are not available outside of class that are important for tests.

I really enjoyed her from start to finish. Her panopto videos were very helpful in showing how to do the work. She answers questions efficiently and works with you for the assignments. I was afraid of statistics because of the horror stories I've often heard but she was a great professor and I definitely recommend her.

Ive never met Professor Weizer face to face but shes a good instructor. Do all of the assignments and do your best to study and you will pass. She does answer your questions. Im just glad this class is over. Im not a math wiz but I did fairly well with effort.

Ms. Weizer was a nice professor and engages with the class (which is kind of a rarity at this school) it is MUCH appreciated when professors do that. Shes wishy washy with grading and her assignments are easy.

I dreaded this class more than any other, but Professor Weizer was amazing. She made videos so she could show us how to do the work step by step. She made herself available through Zoom for group tutoring or one on one help. She was encouraging and made difficult concepts easy to understand and use. Highly recommend.

Prof is awesome. A few written assignments and exams. Exams are easy and written assignments aren't hard. She does take attendance randomly.

She is a great prof who definitely cares about her student! However, DO NOT use your phone or do other things beside notes on your laptop! She will call you out in front of the class and will sometimes make you leave. Besides that she id very straightforward with lectures and will answer any question you have.
