I think she was an awesome teacher... she really taught me how to write well... If you missed some things on your essay you have the chance to correct it... SHE'S AWESOME

I took her enc1101 class last semester, it was really easy, 5 essays, she gave us a higher grade if we revise them. If you're good with her, she'll good with you.

if you are an adult you will be ok.. respct her and she will take care of you, if you need help use the office hours, you can upgrade your essays and yea she is strick but fun oo yea a lots f writing involved

The class is extremely interesting and gives you perfect tools for the future. The professor is really clear and helpfull everytime you need. The overall of the class and the professor is really good. Without a doubt one of the best classes i have ever taken.

Wang is a fairly good teacher. You do homework on the internet and sometimes in the book. She really dosnt teach much. You have a lot of essays to do and when you turn one in the next one is assigned which sucks.

this class is very easy if u are not good in english or dont really like english...the teacher is nice, but her work is pretty boring and the essays are annoying, they come right after another, and the internet work we do is just lame, she hasnt even teached any of it, i think its just busy work. but its a good class for an easy A.

Ms. Wang is a great teacher, who really cares about her students. I took her class last a few years ago, and found her class very helpful, because she allows her stduents to revise their essay many times until they get it right. I recommend her dedication, a nd knowledge in teaching writng, and ehr expertise in her sibject.

She can be a harsh grader, and her lectures can be boring...I was bored often. A decent gal, but the class would probably suck no matter who taught.A two-hour class is too long on this stuff! Class length is definitely a problem.

Professor Wang, is one of the best English Professors' at BCC. Students who have something negative to say choose not learn and want the easy way out. This professor provokes you to learn what you need, to succeed on a college level. I never knew how to write an essay let alone a Research-Oriented Essay, and in Professor, wangs'class I did.

This teacher was amazing. Sure she has alot of essays but, thats english. Her essays were easy as well as the topics. Every topic you had to do was one of your own choice. Definately recommended. I really enjoyed her class!

I really enjoyed this teacher, i took her online course and got an A at the end. She gives enough time to write all 5 essays and enough time for all the grammar exercises. As long as you do the essays and the portfolio at the end of the term you are guaranteed a great grade. I would deff sign up for her ENC 1102 class !! :)

Because of Prof. Wang's 1101 class I was able to well in 1102. If you are unable to do the work in this easy class you might as well drop out because it gets much harder. I think Prof. Wang is fair and a pleasure to deal with. She is also has an exotic appeal that can spark some hot fantasies, if your into that;p

Took Dr.Wang online over the summer.. An essay a week, some peer reviews and grammar exercises. (Textbook is REQ, written by HER, Follow it= Easy A!) Syllabus is a bit confusing, but she responds to all concerns QUICKLY and revises your work to correct and turn in AGAIN at the end of term for final grade. Your an idiot if you cant pass her class!

at first the instructions were little unclear but she allows you to try and figure out for yourself. GREAT teacher. I was a week late on an essay and she still accepted and graded it. responds to emails in timely manner. Doable as an online class.

I took Xiao Wang for 1101 online, we had 5 major essay to write. I must say that i am not a good essay writer but smartthinking help me a lot. They review my essay and give me advise. I think she is a fair grader i got 3 A and 2 B on the essay. She also allowed you to revise you essay at the end for a better grade. I got an A in the class.

She is a very nice teacher, just pay attention in class and youll be fine. I suggest having an agenda because her sylabus is very tricky and not very accurate, and she adds things due that arnt on the syllabus. Strict teacher with only 5-6 essays and you save all the work because she wants a portfolio with all of it as your final exam.

Dr. Xiao Wang ENC 1101 class was enjoyable, I always had a love for writing and this class has helped me really tweak and perfect my writing skills. The best thing about her class, is that you get a second chance to revise your essay to get a higher grade. She is very nice and really wants to see her students do well .

Great Professor, I recommend her. Just be organized. Every time you are assigned work or an essay, save it. Keep work from the semester in a binder because you are going to need it in the end for a binder check which is for a grade. Overall, nice professor, I learned how to write amazing essays, be a good student and you will get along with her.

Criteria are very clear. The assignments were interesting and sufficient time was given to complete them. The grading system was objective and very fair. I found the criticisms were very helpful in improving my writing. As a result I am a much improved writer today.

She is a great teacher. She is always there for you, whether to help or just answer questions. She lets you revise ALL your essays at the end of the semester. WHAT TEACHER DOES THAT?? She's funny and the class always go smoothly. I am gonna take again, and she wrote her own text/work book with all the exact info you need for essays and quizzes.

I decided to take this class based upon a positive ratemyprofessors rating, and that was definitely a wise decision. Although she may seem like a tough teacher at first, Dr. Wang has a consistent course that I feel has taught me valuable knowledge. I would recommend this course to anyone who is willing to learn and keep up on work.

I recommend taking Dr. Wang's class. You only have to write 5 major essays, each one about 3-5 pages long. You're able to revise each essay, even after it is graded, at the end of the semester. If you already feel like you're a good writer, this class will be a breeze. If not, just put in a little hard work, and this class is definitely passable!

I took Professor Wang last semester and I loved her class! English is my worst subject but she made it easy for me to pass with an A. As long as you go to class and listen to how she wants the papers done she pretty much tell you exactly how to write it. Also, in class she'll help you pick your topics and tell you what to write about.

She's very specific with what is required and so it shouldn't be difficult to get all your points on the assignments. Professor Wangs 1102 is a fun class. You need to write only three essays, and there are sample essays to follow. Your time will not be wasted if you take her class.

Skipping out on professor Wang's class is doing a dishonor to yourself. She taught me the beauty and art of literature and how to implement it into my everyday language and writing. Dr. Xiao by far is one of the best professors I have taken thus far. She is very hands-on and truly cares about your grade and your work for the class. I took Xiao Wang for enc1102 in the spring of 2022 her classes were easy to understand it was a little difficult at first. Her syllabus can be overwhelming at first glance but it was never difficult just tedious at times. However, be prepared to write a lot. The class was very good and it was a great semester

I took her for ENC1101 and ENC1102. The class was easy as long as you do your asignments on time. For the 2 months I had her for ENC1101 we had 3 essays, free writings and peer reviews all to be kept organized in a portfolio. At the end she gives you a better grade for your essays if you revised it. She was a pretty decent teacher.

Signed up for a blended class and absolutely nothing was online. I wouldn't recommend buying the book. In order to get a decent grade on the essays you MUST follow the sample essays wording. Class consists of open-book quizzes, 3 essays, and hw from the book. If you follow the sample essays and complete the work, you shouldn't get less than an A.

She is a very nice professor even when the work seems hard. Ask her for help and assistance and she'll understand. Just try your best in her class and she'll see your efforts.

She gets to the point and is very kind when explaining things. She comes off passive aggressive sometimes when you do bad work, but also mainly cause she's always kinda in a rush to get to the other students in a short period of time. She's understanding about my situations. She doesn't make you buy her book you're allowed to take pictures of hers.

Prof. Wang's ENC1101 class is manageable if you stay on top of the work. While she can be a bit strict, following her guidelines closely leads to good grades. The textbook is pricey but helpful, and Unstuck study AI proved useful for essay prep.

She is a really good teach I am taking her ENC1101. I would also be talking her ENC1102 for spring semester. She gives your essay back to revise and get a better grades. I am learning a lot from her. As long as you putting in the work you will be fine.

Dr.Xiao Wang is a great professor. In the beginning of the semester I had an issue with Fafsa and my payment for classes. I was removed but in order for me to be added back into the course she made an effort to help me. We have time in between classes to get our work done/she always provides us with instructions or extra help on her announcements.
